I haven’t had a tattoo in over 10 years and I was so nervous about how it would go. My artist Cesar was so nice and made me feel comfortable. I am so in love with details of my tattoos, he really did a great job. I’ve been receiving compliments all weekend. The shop is nice and super clean. Amazing vibes and talented artist! I will start by saying that I absolutely love the shop; I love the art work on the wall, love how clean, and organize it is. Caesar made me feel comfortable from beginning to end; he listened to what I wanted; was very professional, and got the job done so quickly, and did a great job. In addition, getting the tattoo on the lateral side of my forearm I thought would hurt, but he was so gentle with it that I didn’t feel it what so ever. I will definitely go back

Went in for an appointment with Stephanie and she did a phenomenal job. She was very nice considering we switched the tattoo idea we wanted. She has a very light hand so there wasn’t much pain. Would definitely go here again. Pricing was very fair.

Me and my 2 coworkers we’re supposed to get matching tattoos in Staten Island, the guy never showed up! We weee so disappointed! We started looking for a place w five star ratings, that was clean, took walk-ins and was within our budget. We came across Victorian Ink Tattoo in Elizabeth, NJ, was everything we were looking for, called up and spoke to Cesear the owner. Not only did he take walk-ins, he was pleasant and knowledgeable! He made us feel comfortable. We will definitely go back for any future tattoos! His place was charming and very clean!

Wanted to get a large anime forearm piece for my first tattoo, and liked Cesar’s portfolio. He was very easygoing and made the process simple. I came up with a basic and complicated idea, but he was able to make it work and look AMAZING. He even used his experience drawing comics and manga to provide suggestions on how to make the piece look as good as possible. Nonstop compliments, even from my “anti-tattoo” family. The shop was a relaxed, clean environment. Cesar doesn’t tattoo too hard, so even a first timer like me was able to sit through a 6 hour session without need for a break. Will definitely return in the future, highly recommend Cesar for any anime-related work.

I can't say enough about Cesar! I have been wanting to cover up a particular piece for about 10 years or so...and when I found Cesar...I knew that I found the right artist! Not only did he do an amazing job...but he was a delight to speak with throughout the entire process...and I was there for a while:-P I will be visiting him in 4-6 weeks so he can check on my tattoo...in case it needs any touch ups...seeing as it is a cover up. I already know that I will be revisiting this establishment for more work...and possible touch ups for older tattoos...I can't thank Cesar enough for his amazing work!!! Amazing job!

Recently me and my mom visited Mr. Cesar because she had wanted to cover up a mark she had on her nape. She's always been extremely self conscious about it and finally decided to get a tattoo. Mr. Cesar was an absolute professional and made sure to make her as comfortable as possible. He was patient and warm and really helped soothe her nerves. 3 days later and I've never seen my mom be more confident than she is now without having to be self conscious of the mark on her neck. Thanks a lot Mr. Cesar, she says you really changed her life.

I am amazed with the detail! I thank my friend for taking me to Cesar's beautiful shop for my first tattoo. He stenciled and drew up my tattoo in 10 minutes, the drawing was 100x better than the original picture my friend sent. The detail is amazing with the shadowing & shading, I'm still in shock. The facility was very clean and comfortable. My daughter and I are from Oregon but currently staying in Manhattan. She wanted matching tattoos so I researched in advance where we would go. I decided on Cesar with Victorian Ink. He really worked to understand what we wanted and he did a good job bringing our vision to life. It was my daughter’s first tattoo and he made us both feel extremely comfortable! He was very professional and his studio was clean. When I wanted a little tweaking of things, he didn’t act put out at all and was rather understanding and accommodating. The only thing I would do differently (hindsight is always 20/20) is that I would have had a more clear idea going into it of what I wanted. I wanted a smaller and more simpler version of my daughter’s tattoo design and what we did was literally just shrink down her flower and use the same design; I would have rather instead we drew a new flower with less petals and less detail as the scale of my tatoo is too small for the detailed work so it looks much denser than my liking. But that was really an error on my part due to my lack of experience. Thank you Cesar for a great experience!

This is an absolutely great shop that might be over looked just by the sheer number of other tattoo shops in the area. But let me just say that I have been to most of those other shops and have gotten tattoos done there, and Victorian Ink tops them all off by a mile! This shop is fantastic! The vibe is great and Cesar is a real down to earth cool guy. Usually other shops will literally be like what do you want, where do you want it and give you no advice on how it will end up. But Cesar is really proud of his work and will give you the best tattoo possible. Best thing is that you can ask him how he thinks the tattoo will fit with the flow for example on a whole sleeve, and he will tell you if it will fit in nicely or maybe just be out of part like in my case. I recommend this shop 100% to any first timers or anyone looking to get another tattoo.

Julio is a great tattoo artist very personable, professional and engaging, important qualities someone in the customer service business should possess. I scheduled my appointment for 6 pm, got there 5 minutes before and I was the only one there, now that's what I call being professional. The tattoo took about an hour but felt like half the time. I felt so relax and comfortable that I forgot I was getting a tattoo on my foot and for anyone who has a tattoo on your foot, you know it can be some what painful. I definitely recommend VICTORIAN INK in ELIZABETH NJ for your next tattoo. Price is great, the owner/artist is great and you'll get your monies worth.

I was looking to get a half sleeve for awhile and I passed by to check out his shop. I loved his artwork and he did an outstanding job on my arm. He was very light handed when he did my tattoo unlike others who were rough with their needles. I got 6 different things done with him and I will definitely be going back for more. His portraits are my favorite.

Very nice shop and the artist was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The quality of work was nice for a good price. The only thing I’m disappointed in is that I felt like I paid for something I didn’t get. While the tattoo itself looks nice, I wanted and thought we agreed upon more filler and background work. Overall it’s a nice shop with nice work, I just got the short end of the stick today.

everyone’s first tattoo is important, the biggest problem for some people is trust. i went into victorian ink knowing what i wanted to get but i didn’t know the tattoo artist. while i was getting the tattoo he was very professional and attentive to every detail. he made my first tattoo very painless and i love how it came out. some tattoo shop charge a ton of money and the tattoo doesn’t come out the way you want it, not here though, this is quality tattoos by a great artist. i would 100% recommend anyone that wants to get a tattoo, i am even going to recommend my brother that has been wanting to get a tattoo. i am looking forward the next time i want another tattoo, i am going to get it here at victorian ink
