I'm new to tattoos (with my only 2 being some identical small ones on my wrist). So it's a very anxiety ridden task to find a good tattoo parlor. This is where Anarchy 16 Tattoo comes in. Anarchy 16 Tattoo, from the moment you enter, is an extremely chill and professional environment that makes you feel pumped and excited for your new ink. The shop has some of the most talented artist around in the county, and my artist, Alex Molina, who is titled as their "apprentice" tattoo artist on their website, did a phenomenal job on my high detail "Halo" tattoo. Throughout the whole day I could see him putting 100% of his heart into my tattoo. When we were done, we we're both so happy at the outcome, and it was the most genuine experience you can have with a tattoo artist. Alex Molina is the man! And he's among some of the best tattoo artists I've seen around the state. We we're both so proud of the tattoo that we showed everyone around the shop and even took pictures of it on a professional camera! It felt very reassuring and made me know I was in good hands. If my testimony is enough to convince you that these guys know what they're doing, then I highly implore you get your next tattoo here. You will be beyond amazed at what these amazing artists can do.

I was looking for a place to take me in for a tattoo appointment and most places were booked until I found this place. The workers were great and the tattoo shop was just a great. Sebastian was able to work on my piece and his work was perfect. I was truly satisfied with how my tattoo came out knowing it meant a lot to me and I’ll definitely be going back again this fall to get my other piece from Sebastian.

Cool place they make you feel relaxed and no judgement. It was my fist tattoo, they made me feel at ease and comfortable explaining what I wanted (just a dste range). The artist Sebastian (Paisa), helped me choose a font and then printed a few sizes to see what worked best. I feel the most important part was that he explained what to expect at each step during and after. I am quite satisfied with the whole experience and I would recommend this place for newbies and tattoo verterans alike.

One of the best tattoo shops I've been at. I contacted them through Instagram. They gave me their pricing, pick of artists and scheduled an appointment. Franko was my artist. Very professional and great artist! We worked on creating my tattoo piece for over an hour and he was including all of my ideas into the piece. The tattoo took almost 8 hours and I love it! Great place, great artist and amazing service.

I waited for a few years to get my tattoo. Between planning out exactly what I wanted, searching for the right artist, and then my booking I found Aleman on IG and went to meet him at Anarchy 16. After my experience I am nothing short of absolutely in love with my piece! Every day I love it more and more. It was definitely worth the wait. Aleman was my artist. I showed up on the day of my tattoo and he had the sketch that I worked on which I originally wanted. He educated me a little about the finer details of tattoo work and asked if I wouldn't mind him making modifications... which he would sketch for me first, of course. I figured he's the expert and I was intrigued what he would come up with so I let him do his thing and loved what he had put together. Though I must admit I was a bit hesitant because it included some color and I was unsure about that. I originally just wanted black and grey. He reassured me and asked me... that if I like his work from what I had seen (which I did)... to trust him. With my fingers crossed I did because his sketch was so incredible and I knew from seeing his work that this guy was the best man for the job! After an entire day in the chair with Aleman my masterpiece was finished. My heart melted and it was love at first site with my new tattoo. I'm extremely grateful for his great work and the experience that he and his team at Anarchy gave me. They have won a loyal customer in me and I can't wait for my next projects with Aleman! To anyone looking into getting work done this is the guy to see and the place to be. Forget about the money (although his prices are extremely fair) and trust that quality better, or equal, to this will be nearly impossible to find.

THIS IS MY SECOND TIME WRITING A REVIEW LMAOO!!! I’m leaving another good review if that’s even possible! Damien was my tattoo artist. I’ve gone to this place atleast twice. He tattooed me about a year ago. I requested a yoda tattoo and showed him a picture for referenced. He saw what I wanted and DELIVERED IT TO ME. His TALENT & HIS WORK is PHENOMENAL. I trust him with my skin!!! He was very cool and nice to talk to and made me Comfortable during the whole process. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of time they put into their work. Me and 2 family members traveled up to New Jersey for my birthday weekend. On Friday morning we decided we all wanted to get tattoos that day. Alex Molina easily said yes to 3 same day “walk in” tattoos and took his time creating each one with us. I had an old tattoo of mine fixed by Damián and I couldn’t be happier! I hated this tattoo for years (done by another person at another shop) and he fixed it to the way it should have looked in the first place. I booked a few months ago and from the start he was always communicative and accommodating, was punctual the day of and very friendly. I will definitely go back to see him for more art. ☺️ Update: I went back on 8/21 for a second tattoo this time done by Alex. He did an amazing job. He took his time to help me design one that had a lot of fine lines and small detail and it came out perfect.

Alex has a beautiful energy. From the moment we walked in, our positive experience was affirmed by the sterile cleanliness and the vibes. Proud culture flows through here and the price points for piercings and jewelry can’t be beat. It’s too often I walk into a tattoo/piercing parlor and expect to be met with some too cool attitude or seeing a pile of grime somewhere I really don’t want to. This was nothing like that. He was so calm and friendly in the room, took his time with cleaning my lobes before and after piercing and with placing the mark before inserting the needle and making sure I approved the spot. I got my first tattoo here a couple of weeks ago and it was an amazing experience! I got a large piece done on my inner left bicep and Eduardo absolutely blew my expectations out of the water. We sat together for quite sometime before he knew exactly what I wanted and he wouldn’t settle for anything less. Everyone in the shop was also extremely warm and welcoming! Considering it was my first time getting a tattoo (7 hours), the manager gave me a bunch of pointers to make sure it went as smooth as possible. I have been a client since 2019 and I have always been very satisfied by the work I’ve had done at this studio. 4 artists have tattooed me and three other clients that I’ve personally recommended, from friends to work colleagues and my boyfriend have been here and walk out very pleased and already planning to get more there! Just recently I had a couples tattoo done with my boyfriend and Frank worked on us. He took the time to go over the design we wanted and gave us ideas and advice that had we gone somewhere else we would not have been given. The artists that have previously tattooed me always ask to see the work they did, they take pictures, and ask me how I like it and if there’s anything I want to ask. Since COVID I have been there twice and the studio is super clean and the artists follow super safe protocols. The place is beautiful and spotless, you don’t even want to leave because the vibe is very positive and friendly. I sincerely hope that he stays here because I live close by and I’m planning more work in the very near future! I'm from Iceland and I was visiting my relatives in NJ and booked an airbnb stay in Guttenberg. I had really wanted to get a quite big specific tattoo for a while and was looking online for tattoo studios in the area when I came across the Anarchy16 Tattoo studio and saw they got great reviews so I just decided to call and ask if they had any appointments available that week and they fit me and my cousin in! As we arrived we instantly got good service and help designing the tattoos exactly as we wanted them! Eduardo Aleman was our artist and got them done so PERFECTLY! He is really chill, extremely talented and his tattoos are the most beautiful ones I've ever seen! We were both SO HAPPY with the outcome and how relaxed we felt around him. The price was also really good for those two amazing tattoos we got! Very professional and 10/10 I would recommend!! The other artists are also very talented and nice. But the first thing I'm doing when I go back to the US is to go to Anarchy16 Tattoo studio again!🤩 I have 7 tattoos and the one Aleman designed for me and tattooed on me is my FAV tattoo so far!! It took 3 hours and it wasn't as painful as the other ones I had gotten, he really knows what he is doing! I only took one 5 min break and I just really enjoyed that session! They have skilled artist but limited vocabulary mostly Spanish talent. Had trouble explaining traditional forms of tattoo styles. When the first few people didnt understand they called a guy out. He tried selling me his style for a 7 hour job that would have taken 4-5hours for 1000 dollars. Hos reasoning is because he wanted to be detailed please a good artist can complete a job. Based off circumference not trying to stretch a job to get paid more. Dont go tp this place

Let’s start with it was an amazing experience. So amazing I’ve booked another session and so have several of my friends. Aleman was professional and creative I went in with an idea that I couldn’t properly word or draw but after an hour or so he started piecing it together. About a few hours later the art work began to come to life. What was more surprising was the focus and attention to his client often time you get tattoo artist that care more about themselves and focus on their reputation leading to a tattoo that looks similar to everything else they’ve ever done. Come on we’ve all seen it or have gone through a tattoo artist that puts you second and his or her ego first. But enough of bad experience let’s talk about the good stuff. My tattoo is now 5 months old I still get compliments as of was jus yesterday. I wake up everyday and I’m excited by the look clean lines , color still pops and overall aesthetic of it. It healed quickly with weeks later my tattoo was a finished art work , I’ll say this my brothers & I got tattoos weeks apart and each healed exactly the same 3 days shedding started , 2 weeks complete heal. You pay for what you get is a common phrase but this time I got more than what I paid for thanks everyone at the Anarchy you all were spectacular see you guys soon!

I do not have enough positive things to say about this shop! I was very nervous at first because it was my first time going to the shop (I have many tattoos), but there was one on my arm that I wanted to be fixed. Let me tell you....I was there ALL day and Eduardo was very professional. He took the time out to make sure the design I had in my head looked good on paper, he was very detail orientated and made my vision come true! He understood exactly what I wanted and worked tirelessly past 10pm to complete my full sleeve tattoo. At the shop, they made me feel beyond comfortable, everyone there is super friendly and cool! And yes, they do speak Spanish, but they also speak English and if they don’t, there is always someone there to translate, so that is never an issue! Eduardos work is very realistic and you can tell that he loves what he does. I will never go to another tattoo shop that isn’t Anarchy Tattoos!!! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I highly recommend this shop! Everywhere I go, without fail I always get complimented or asked who did my work on my sleeve and without fail, I always give out their Instagram page! My girlfriend and I set an appointment for a couples tattoo on Valentine’s Day. My girlfriend had originally gotten some beautiful tattoos done by Eduardo and Dymon. I have to say when we walked in I was pleasantly surprised on how well the shop did with their COVID precautions. Masks were emphasized, they took your temperature, and had a log book for contact tracing. Once we got to the actual tattoo the artist @franko24 was excellent. He took the time to understand what we wanted and really helped improve our design and made it unique for us. We were extremely happy with the way the tattoos came out and I would definitely recommend this specific shop if your looking to get some ink done.

Where do I even begin, after getting more than 10 tattoos I can honestly say Anarchy 16 is my number 1 studio I have ever been to. Extreme professionalism at all times, followed with the amazing skills of all the artists there is nothing else I could ask for. After researching for months on a studio with artists who were worth their fee and the time it takes to get Tattoo's, I was extremely please to find Eduardo Aleman. Aleman's skills as an artist is worth every second you wait for your upcoming appointments. I always heard of people saying their artist brought their idea to life and had never experienced it until I met Aleman. I simple came in for a consult with ideas of what I would like, and shortly afterwards he improved upon it and made it amazing. He dedicated every second of our sessions to my tattoo and constantly sought my opinion on his amazing ideas on how to put it together. He sacrifices it all for costumer satisfaction. He will take breaks when you need to, and he gets so into his work he doesn't even eat! Aleman also has the lightest touch of any artist. I have zero scarring or bumpy skin. His line work was smooth and incredible. I would highly recommend him and Anarchy 16 to any one looking for a tattoo in the tristate area. 10/10 COVID: The studio has great procedures in place to protect all customers and staff from this pandemic. You can safely get your tattoo fix with a peace of mind.
