If you are here on google looking for a place to get your child’s ear pierced, I’m telling you that this is the place for you! After a ton of research, We chose to come get our 4 month old daughters ears pierced with Peter based off the many praising reviews about his work and he truly lived up to them! Peter is extremely patient and walks you through the entire process multiple times before doing anything. He took his time placing dots on our daughter’s ears, adjusting both sides multiple times while making sure to get them in the perfect spot for each ear so that they complement each other and account for future potential growing. Before doing the actual piercing, he practiced with us a couple times to make sure we would have our daughter in the perfect position for him to get the piercing done quick and accurately. He was extremely kind and patient and I will 1000% be recommending him to anyone who needs his services especially with babies/kids, and I plan on coming back to him myself for a piercing of my own. The shop is also inviting and extremely clean. A 10/10 experience!

My mom and I found this studio about 6 years ago and we have been going back ever since. I’ve gotten 2 nose piercings/ belly piercing/ 3rd ear piercing and a tattoo from this location and I’ve been extremely satisfied every time I’ve gone. The workers are wonderful and personable and they always accommodate me for walk ins and give me price estimates. My mom has also gone with my stepdad for matching tattoos and the pieces were so accurate to the example photo/ the colors are still vibrant years later. I always bring my friends and recommend this place to people I know because of how kind and professional they are. It’s a very convenient location next to the 7 train and they have talented artists here. Definitely worth stopping by and receiving service from them!!

Amazing place. I was very nervous about getting my nose pierced since in the past I’ve always bleed from previous ear piercings but this time I had not a single drop of blood. I was completely in disbelief!!! The gentleman that took care of me was so patient and made me feel at ease (I wish I could remember his name). They also had a variety of different piercings to choose from and also he let me choose how I wanted the inside of the nose piercing to look which was awesome. I don’t normally write reviews but studio 316 Tattoo & Body Piercing deserves it because they are exceptional! They have a beautiful selection of body jewelry and best of all they are open on Sundays! I ran into this gem on a Sunday, thank goodness. So first things first, originally, I got my nose piercing with a gun at a random jewelry shop (BIG MISTAKE) because after a month, the piercing started to sink in because the place that I had gone to originally had used the wrong type of earring to pierce my nose, and they had also pierced it too tight (please don’t ever get a nose piercing with a gun it will always end up sinking after a month as explained to me by the body piercer, Peter). Also, always go to a professional piercing shop it’s better to get one straight from the experts than to just get one at a random spot the way I did. However, (drum rolls) this is where studio 316 Tattoo & Body Piercing comes in — luckily Peter was a lifesaver and was able to fix it with a titanium pin. This place provides sanitary and great professional service. Peter is meticulous and patient. You won’t even feel a pinch or any pain whatsoever. Peter was so gentle in removing the old nose piercing and adding my new one. I honestly couldn’t even believe how quick and painless the process was. In addition, he also does a great job of explaining the proper after care on how to take care and clean your piercing along with instructions via text as well. He also follows up with you to make sure that your piercing is healing properly. Overall, really warm, friendly, sanitary and professional atmosphere. I highly recommend anyone to come here if they are looking for a spot to get a body piercing. Plus, they also have reasonable prices. Someday, I’ll get a tattoo here as well! 😊

I had my helix pierced here two weeks ago. This was my first piercing (besides ear lobes) and I am very glad I went to Peter at studio 316. I had done some research about cartilage piercings, but there was a lot I didn't know and Peter guided me through the healing process and helped me figure out the exact angling / location of the piercing. I’ve been getting piercings here for the past 2 years and I highly recommend Peter. I’ve gotten a nose piercing, septum and two lip piercings by him and they all healed perfectly. It was my first time getting my lips pierced so I wasn’t sure how long I had to wait to get them changed (my starter bars were pretty long after the swelling went down). I went back after 3 months to see if I could get them changed but it takes roughly 8 months for them to heal, I didn’t come back to get them changed until 9 months later just to make sure they were healed correctly. Also during this time I kept the bars in cause I didn’t want to risk the holes closing/getting infections. Aftercare was the same for all my piercing until they healed.

I came here for a cover up tattoo. I made the appointment with Peter and Nelson was my tattoo artist. I I had 3 tattoos on my back that were over 10 years old and faded. I got a full back piece which covered all 3 tattoos and gave me amazing new artwork. I was able to complete this in 4 sessions, 4 hours each. I highly recommend for any cover ups or new tattoos. I recommend going 4 hours max per a session especially If it is covering a large area.

My go to piercing place! Ever since I first got double pierced around 2-3 years ago (naval/surface), I have always came back when I wanted another piercing. Never did I have any issues with any of the healing processes, and the only time I *did* have my piercings done elsewhere, that was when I was given trouble. Peter does an amazing job and continues to do an amazing job with giving piercings. He makes sure everything is precise, clean, and accurate before any piercing. Additionally, he always makes sure you're okay with the placement in the end and advises you on what he thinks would be best based on your anatomy! He is always so kind and I enjoy having small talk with him while I get pierced. 100% would recommend if you want a well done piercing.

I came here to get a daith piercing with my sister (who got a flat piercing) because I was starting to suffer from migraine headaches again. Peter was excellent! He was friendly and very professional and has the gentlest hands. So gentle, that I kept forgetting I had a fresh piercing in my ear the following day lol. The spot he chose to place my piercing was dead on point because I’m 2 weeks out and no more headaches. As soon as I can I am going back so I can get my other side done. I had my 1st nose piercing 3 months ago and it was so good and not painful at all. Peter was amazing. He was careful and explained everything from which type of jewelry to how to care for my piercing. He sent me all the information regarding the healing process and said to reach out to him if I ever need anything. Honestly, my piercing healing was great I had absolutely no trouble with the piercing I even forgot I had it on...that was until my baby pulled it out and that irritated my piercing and created a recurring, constantly bleeding bumb. I reached out to Peter and he was soooo helpful and guided me through the process. He suggested what to do and I followed up with him. And it took 3 weeks for my bumb to completely go away but if he hadn't guided me honestly it would've most likely been wayyyy worse. Thanks sooo much Peter!! Your amazing and truly care about your clients.

Went there yesterday, and the person that appears to be the owner is bomb. Glad that I went to get my ears pierced there. Since then, I have been spreading the word. Hoping to have my friend get hers there. Unfortunately we are all the way at the tip of uptown Manhattan, so not sure if she’ll come through. 6 years ago when I was 22 I got my first belly piercing. The best experience, place was super clean and organized. Peter has SUPER gentle hands so I hardly felt the pinch.I was so nervous and he was very patient with me. I got my helix pierced here. I was nervous since it was my first time getting a piercing, but it was so smooth and quick. I forgot who pierced me, but he was very gentle, used a needle, and made sure to disinfect the area and equipment thoroughly. He also showed me where he would pierce and made sure I was satisfied with the placement before he did. I have not had any issues with my helix since, it's been healing super well! Peter at 316 studio is great! Despite my deviated septum (which he thoroughly checked to make sure my anatomy worked for the piercing) I left with a great looking septum piercing. It healed with no issues and I just changed the jewelry after 2 months. The whole process was very clean and sterile. Peter was very professional and skilled. I got my nostril pierced in October 2020. I wanted to wear a hoop so badly but they suggested I start with a stud. They also suggested to wait a few months even a year. I’m so glad I waited a year because I just got it changed to a hoop and I’m so happy. It was a painless, quick process that was done by the same person who gave me the piercing the first time. I also got my conch there and I was so nervous and the lady that pierced me just said all the right things and was so kind. This is my go to place for piercings and tattoos for good reason. They are clean, efficient and nice. If you go there, which I suggest you do, bring cash!!

Not only was I able to meet Peter who was a patient, kind and INFORMATIVE person but he had gone over all the possibilities several ear piercing outcomes. As well as educating me, as to why one of my ear piercings didn't pan out as expected... which was pierced in St.Marks NOT this shop!! The shop's was well organized with its jewelry options as well maintaining its cleanliness! Definitely going back for more piercings and possible tattoos!

Last time in came here I got my industrial and Tragus pierced they’ll walk you through the different types of jewelry and what is best for you, the price ranges and what are your options when it’s time to downsize your jewelry. Peter talked me through the totally incorrect work that was done at a nearby shop (pierced through cartilage, uneven) and removed & replaced it. This is a hidden gem in the Queens community! I’ve gotten my thirds, my tragus, my cartilage, and my naval pierced here and will continue getting more from the same spot. Peter has been great! He makes recommendations on how the piercing should be and makes sure it’s nothing under perfection. Originally, I got my nose pierced at a place that used poor quality jewelry, and a gun instead of a needle to insert the jewelry. As a result, my nose rejected the piercing and it came off. I decided to go to “Studio 316” to get my nose pierced and that was the best decision that I made. The studio uses a needle instead of a gun for the nose piercing which is much efficient and safer than a gun. Peter was helpful and explained the process well for me. I didn’t experience discomfort at all. Overall, I had a great experience, and my nose ring looked fantastic!

First of all, if you're thinking of getting a piercing just do it. I got a septum piercing which I love it , I was very afraid of how it would look on me but I can't tell you how beautiful it looks. Peter did a great job, it's been almost a week and I haven't had any complications. So it’s almost a year since I got my piercing, and had no complications at all, I even recommended my friend to visit this place and she also got her nose pierced here. I went today to get my septum pierced and I was very nervous. Peter took good care of me. He went through the process step by step. Told me it would be fast and all I would feel is a pinch. He told me multiple times I was doing great and I would be okay. I closed my eyes for the piercing and he gave the countdown and told me when it was over. I found out about Tattoo Alley from two friends who had been coming here for a long time. I was a little hesitant at first, but I had seen my friends tattoos and how they came out, and so I was a little at ease. My tattoo consisted of a lot of line work and so I was also worried, being that this was my first tattoo, that it wouldn't come out good. I called Peter, to find out how much it would be, and it was pretty much a wrap from there. I usually always do my research on a place before I visit them, but for Tattoo Alley I didn't and I don't regret it. From the first conversation, Peter was so helpful and didn't hesitate to answer any of my questions. My tattoo artist, Tyrone, was awesome. He was patient with me given that it was my first time and his line work is impeccable. I love tattoo alley, and am planning to go back for another tattoo shortly! I was very pleased with my experience, and the prices are super affordable and not crazy expensive like some other tattoo shops I've been in. I love my tattoo, and I love tattoo alley for giving me EXACTLY what I asked for. The picture attached is the day I first got it (top) and then 6-7 months later (bottom). Still looks dope and fresh and I love looking at it everyday!

I’m a little late on the review here but I took my 4-month old baby girl here after seeing that they handle baby girl piercings and I’m so glad we came here. They’re really patient and showed me where the holes would be several times without getting annoyed at me. I highly recommend them over going to a doctor’s office or a jewelry spot. If you are not sure of what you really want, you can ask them to help you design one. Patricia (the owner) can assist you with the prices on depending the design. Before they start working on your tattoo they first explain you step by step as well as show the tools they will be using (all new)!. When I came to this place I asked for an industrial piercing, unfortunately I did not have the anatomy for one. I had really wanted this piercing, I had been to other shops before this one to see if they could help but none of them did. Right away when I came here me and the piercer were discussing options on how we could give the same industrial feel to the piercing, but it would be different to fit my anatomy. We ended up going with a bent industrial (we also moved it over a little because of my glasses). I was extremely happy with the outcome. It came out better then I had hoped. I was also happy that this studio helped me look through different options to fit my ear. I am definitely coming back here for many future piercings.

Ok so let’s start out by saying I got 3 piercing at done in one sitting. I had to redo my septum after the last guy messed it up . Peter placed it in the sweet spot I swear it doesn’t hurt anymore after about an hour or two. Then he did both my nostril and he did it so smoothly and quickly. He also did my wife’s septum and nostril and he killed it too. This place is Definitely worth it!! Super chill, clean, Sterile, and relaxed ambiance.

I went here in March for my daughters 1st ear piercings (7 and 10 year old) . Peter and a fellow ear piercer (sorry i forgot your name!). Took their time to make sure the location was equal and accurate for both ears. It went well. Then last Sunday, after years of thinking of getting a helix piercing I took a jump and did it for my birthday. I was met again by Peter, he took his time to make sure it was where I wanted it to be. Thank you. Update: I meant to update sooner. So while I do appreciate the communication of Peter from here. I have to say I'm disappointed as I was finally able to switch out my daughters earrings last year, it wasn't until I went to switch it out did I realize for my younger daughter that one ear was pierced higher on the lobe then the other. I gave her huggie hoop earrings for Christmas and one side cannot close. I really trusted your judgement that it was equal, I'm left feeling bad for the unevenness. For that I drop 2 stars.

I had gotten my nose pierced by Peter at this location. Unfortunately due to sleep and forgetting I had the piercing it got bruised and a keloid formed. I went back and Peter was so amazing and helpful. He drained the keloid I changed the ring as well to a longer bar to give the piercing breathing room. He gave me a white powder called cloroxilenol to place on the piercing for about two weeks to help heal the keloid and piercing. It was a miracle worker. In less than two weeks the keloid and bump was gone. I have very sensitive skin so this was truly a miracle. This was obviously my first nose piercing. This is definitely the place to go. Peter was amazing amazing very attentive follows up with you.

I decided to finally get a nose piercing, Peter did my nose piercing and I swear the experience was worse in my head. I came here 3 days after getting it pierced and the guy named Peter was so nice and was very professional in helping me with the issue. A month later I came back to get it re-pierced in January. Wowzers! Had a great experience with this shop! Usually I get my piercings at those basic Kiosk in the mall but they don’t do septums(thankfully!) Looked up piercing shops and found Studio 316. Got a double nostril piercing here! Super great😊 Patty made me feel very comfortable. I called in advance to ask about the pricing, starting at $25 for each one and jewelry is included when you get the simple ones that she shows you. The piercer(I didn't get her name) but was also very friendly, she showed me all the clean and new materials and walked me through the process. She did it so quick too! What takes the longest is the setup and choosing placement, I brought in a picture to help show exactly how I wanted mines positioned. I LOVE THIS PLACE. I felt completely comfortable from the moment I walked into the door. The staff was friendly, attentive and really accommodating. I wanted the balls of my piercing to be a less noticeable color than the standard silver balls and they helped me find the right color with no problem. All my questions about the do's, don'ts and maintenance of the piercing were answered without hesitation. I even received an honest opinion about weather I should get another piercing or not. (I didn't have enough time off from work to let it fully heal so I'll have to save that for next time.) The needle and jewelry were taken out of the package in front of me, and the ring, with the alternate balls, were sterilized in front of me as well . The piercing itself was less then a minute and literally painless. The only downside is that they are cash only, but that wasn't much of an inconvenience since there are at least 3 bank ATM's in 2 block radius. I am more than satisfied with my experience at Studio 316 and I will definitely be back!

She marked my ear with ink pen first to show me location and angle of jewelry. All needles and jewelry was sealed in plastic prior to using on me. Pierce Artist wore face mask during piercing. I’m not one to write reviews but considering this was the best experience I’ve had, I had too. I found this shop on google and they have a 4.9 star rating and honestly they deserve it. I went to get my septum pierced and the guy (I think it’s Peter, not too sure) was super confident and he looked like he knew what he was doing so I automatically felt comfortable. Before he pierced me he took a while making some measurements I guess and he ended up putting the piercing higher than I expected him too but he said it’s cus I have a small face so it needed to fit my face size. And honestly I love it and I’m so happy he put it higher and it doesn’t hang too much. 10/10 would recommend you going there. Everyone is really sweet and experienced. I asked an appointment via this yelp app to get a tattoo, and a VCH piercing. I had to describe the tattoo I wanted and add a photo as references. The owner Peter responded same day but like 1am. He also told me about all I needed to know. He was really nice. I wanted a geometric tattoo. Nelson did the tattoo and it was exactly what I asked. He did a great job despite the language barrier (I'm french). It lasted about 50min. They all were very nice and polite and learned his tattooing experince over 19years. I payed 400$ for the tattoo (a little expensive compare to london prices but the quality is perfect, i would have paid more no problem). My piercing phase Before coming here, I was looking at various other piercing places, and what really made up my mind was my phone call with Peter (the owner) a few months ago. I told him I was interested in getting a VCH piercing, but that I was doing some intense cross-fit for a week. He said he couldn't advise that I get the piercing, as my training could cause complications with the healing process, and that I should hold off on getting it. I felt really impressed with his professionalism and concern for my healing, which completely overshadowed his concern for a sale. I went and got my VCH piercing ($150). I texted with Peter using whastapp a few times beforehand , and each time he responded very quickly. Then I got to meet him in person, and he was super friendly and helpful. He answered all my questions. As for my piercing process, I got called into the room by Peter, and he made me feel completely comfortable. He's confident, with the credentials from Osha and cross contamination procedures. He told me of his experience with piercing (20 years I believe he said) and of his yearly refresher courses to make sure he was up to date. He was a lot of fun, and I know he tried his best to distract me from the pain. I remember he said breath in ~ count to 10 for me please I can guarantee I'm very fast, so it won't hurt for long, And he was right! He was extremely quick, which I was thankful for. I could tell he was a genuinely good person, who just wanted to make sure that I was happy and confident with my piercing. He answered all of my questions, checked out my nose piercing (which was slightly irritated & pierced at a different store), and gave me aftercare advice on both piercings. Because I had to go out of my way to get to the city, I told him I wouldn't be able to come back for checkups anytime soon. He handed me his business card and told me to message him using whatsapp that i could reach him at any time. I would definitely recommend Tattoo Alley if you're looking for a good tattoo piercing studio!

Got my first piercing (septum) here today and the whole experience was incredible. My stomach was in knots going in there and I ended up almost fainting just from the nerves when the needle went in, but Peter was extremely patient with me and was always making sure I was okay before we went further. Highly recommend Edit: I’d also like to add that Peter made sure I knew I was getting into before doing anything, which I thought was incredibly reassuring. I have a long asymmetrical nose and Peter made sure I knew there might be some misalignment in the end just because of how my nostrils are shaped. Despite this, I went through with it and couldn’t be happier. Thanks Peter!

I wouldn't recommend for tattoo customization. I asked for them to combine two designs, and now after completing the tattoo, I don't think there's cohesion between the two. For $150, I think the outcome could've been better. It looks a little like a cover-up, so I think I may end up having to fix it. I also did not like that the price wasn't given until the needle was about to go on my skin. Clean environment, friendly artist, but I was not completely satisfied.

Was seen immediately as a walk-in with Tyrone. I requested a small tattoo on the back of my neck and was perfectly OK with the $60 minimum charge. Staff was friendly & the place was very clean. I was disappointed though that after I was quoted the price & it was written down (by who I assume is the owner/manager) he wanted to charge me and additional $60 for a tiny dot on my right ring finger. I asked Tyrone if he could do it for me (since he already had the needle & ink out) and he was fine with it. After I stood my ground they dropped the extra charge, but ending the experience that way really bummed me out.

Out of all of the tattoo shops that I've been to, Tattoo Alley is the only place I've ever returned to multiple times. When you're someone like me who tends to pass out during anything that involves a needle, its super important to feel comfortable during your session. Other shops have made fun of me because of this, which is unfortunate because its something I can't control. But Peter made me feel welcome since the first day. I had the best experience here. To begin with, Peter stayed with me to help pick an original design. Tyrell did a beautiful job putting a big piece together in a small time frame. They both are friendly and listened to be talk my mouth off. I sat for over four hours and although it was hurting, Tyrell and Peter made sure to distract me and give me a beautiful piece.
