So so good! We saw the sign & decided to check it out. Walked right in, Stephen immediately helped us. Decided on a simple Fleur de lis. Stephan had us in and out with super cute matching tattoos! Clean to start and sanitized after each of us. Only complaint- it’s so hot & humid! Too bad he couldn’t control the weather😜. Cash only- they have an in house ATM. Be sure to ask for Stephen! He can carry a conversation so you aren’t sitting there in uncomfortable silence!

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Kyle absolutely crushed it! I almost walked out of the shop when Stephen, an artist came in all high on something and was speaking to me and other potential customers aggressively after I had already spoke to and came to an agreement with another artist, Kyle. Stephen actually made a couple storm out that came in after me but I’m glad it didn’t deter me from getting my tattoo. Thank you so much for your professionalism Kyle, for taking your time and for making all the changes I asked for to make the Voodoo doll my own unique piece. I absolutely LOVE IT! (even though come to find out that the original piece was drawn by Stephen. A shame cause after looking him up, he’s done some really cool stuff). Would have been a 5 star experience if it wasn’t for that other stuff.

I went into big easy looking to get something simple (birth year off my children) and Stephen took a simple idea and took it to a whole new level, he made sure a couple times it was perfect with me as went threw the process or the design he was very sterile, and took his time then and once we was done even went back to touch up every flaw he seen without being asked. I’m 100% satisfied and definitely recommend Stephen, great work is hard to find 10/10

Had a great experience at Big Easy !! I was a walk in & greeted immediately when coming in off the street. Told the staff what I was looking for, they showed me a variety of examples & I decided on one within a few minutes. In no time I had an artist getting his work station ready (I wish I remembered his name) while Kai took care of the paperwork & payment. I was in and out lickety split & had an awesome tattoo to show for it. Stop in and say “Hi”, look around & let them do what their thing - you won’t be disappointed. Did a walk in tattoo and had a general idea of what I wanted that Kyle turned into a piece I absolutely love. The shop was organized and clean, the artists were friendly and reasonable. Kyle was so awesome when it came to the sensitive areas on my collar piece and kept talking me through the tattoo. I will definitely be coming back to get some more work done by him!

Great staff and excellent work. It was my first tattoo and they made it so easy and worked with me on every step. They gave me a price up front and paid it before I started the tattoo. GREAT JOB!! My friend and I were visiting NOLA for her birthday, which just so happened to be Valentine's day and the Mardi Gras season. Decided to get matching tatts on a whim. Walked in and they were super cool. Couldn't decide which Fleur de Lis tatt we wanted. Brock was super patient with us indecisive Chitown chicks. Ended up getting the "Prince" symbol instead. They took walkins on a Friday night which was cool. Artist seemed cool. I wanted two bands on my forearm and was quoted 840 bucks. Maybe I'm a tight wad but ive gotten larger, more complicated tattoos for much cheaper. Place is just not for me I guess.

Overall impression, not the best but about what I'd expect in NO. They don't take phone calls and there was no one working the front desk. We arrived at 1 on a Saturday. There was 1 artist and 3 people ahead of us getting very small tattoos. We expected a bit of a wait, but we were told it would be about 45 minutes so we stayed. Our group of 4 ended up waiting 3 hours to get started and spent 4 hours total there. Overall the quality is ok, Ace was great and make the experience better. Probably wouldn't go back, but it was an experience for sure.

This place was amazeballs! We check with them via telephone for seat availability. A nice young lady answered the call and said sure come right in. We can get you in for sure. So we took the drive. We were greeted by her smiling face upon arrival. She walked us through the whole process from start to finish. We were checking a price on a piece when I noticed the gumball machine and decided I wanted to do that. So I pull a 100 out and at the mercy of the machine, threw 2 quarters in to get what I was to receive. I received exactly what spirit intended for me to get. Dave tatted me and did a phenomenal job with the creation of my newest piece. Shannon tatted my wife and did great too on her 100 dollar random fun. It was a great experience in all. We will warn Shannon has a little bit of a heavy hand, so maybe not for the first timers. This place is it, look no further! Stop in for a lifetime piece! We will be back!

She sold me on a tattoo then a artist with a face tattoo, clearly high starts yelling and berating the counter girl. She stayed calm and apologized for HIS behavior. Dude needs help. Big Easy is the best tattoo shop in town because of the best tattoo artist, Jimmy Good Money. Why? They adhere to COVID-19 precautions and once cleared, it’s straight to work. Nice, clean station. One of my rules for picking an artist is that the person has to be able to execute uniform, steady, even, clean lines. Since I needed script done, I needed someone who understood spacing and lettering... someone who can spell too. Jimmy is REALLY good at that. It was smooth and absolutely fantastic. I am going to come back for more work. My tattoo healed perfectly and I need to show it off. Come through people!

I was in New Orleans for a Jazz convention this past week and I had contacted the shop ahead of time to keep my space. I was originally supposed to be tattooed from Rachel, who I learned later goes by Ace, and she was very nice and easy to work with. We would be texting about the design all through the month of December and then when I got to New Orleans I had gotten sick and she was willing to switch my appointment to a later day of my trip to make sure I got better beforehand. The day of my appointment I get to the shop and by some unseen circumstances she was unavailable to come it and was unavailable to give me a heads up. I was mad or anything when I showed but but the other employees and owner of the shop were all so helpful as well! That's when I met David and he was super helpful! He explained the situation to me and then offered to do the tattoo if I would allow it and drew up the design I was trying to get super fast. I'm very grateful for the people and I would 100% recommend this shop, the people are nice and like a precious review said they are willing to work on a good price for everyone.

They were very nice, clean and professional, they did very well on my mom, daughter and my tattoos, they did everything we asked. The cost of the tattoo was pricey but we were in nola so I get it. If you plan to visit New Orleans and want to get a tattoo I HIGHLY recommend going to Big Easy Tattoo and asking for Tony. My friend wanted a tattoo to represent his trip to New Orleans so we stopped by Big Easy Tattoo and at first glance it's not much to look at and the store is slightly empty. However, you are not in a tattoo shop for how the space looks you are there for how the tattoos look and Tony surpasses expectations with his art. His lines are clean and precise, his shading is impecable, and his attention to detail is impressive. All things that I consider to be very highly sought after traits that you want in someone who is a tattoo artist. My friend went back in for another tattoo, that he wanted for quite some time, before we left because of Tony's work. Personally, I dont have tattoos and I probably wont ever get one, but after seeing Tony's art and talent a small part of me considered it.
