I recommend doing with Marlee. She is amazing. It almost felt nothing when she done piercing. The place is clean. The vibe in the store make me feel more relax too. All staffs are super friendly! I definitely come back to get more piercing with Marlee.

Really nice and welcoming staff. Piercer worked so quickly I didn’t even realize when she finished. Customer service via email a while back was also nice about not charging me for an appt time change. Will come back, way more easy and comfortable than going to any piercer

I first went to Studs 2 months ago to fix my lobe piercings. The experience was amazing and my piercer was Melissa. Melissa made the process comfortable and fun. She also took her time to perfect the placements. I really appreciate her patience and skill. Two months later I came back and got double helix piercings. I will be coming back to get more piercings!

The experience felt very clean and well organised. They use needle piercings instead of a gun, which felt a lot less painful than the gun piercings I've had before. My piercer took the time to ask about my previous issues with infections/scar tissue and made sure to be careful with it which made me feel a lot more at ease. My only thing is the earrings they pierce you with are pretty pricey, but they're not butterfly backed and are either titanium or 14K gold so I think it's worth knowing they're less likely to cause any build up of bacteria/is good for sensitive ears.

Made the trip to studs to get my ears pierced with my mom. I got cartilage piercings and she got a 4th lobe piercing. The staff was SUPER nice and helpful throughout the processess and our piercer Marlee was awesome. This was my first time getting cartilage pierced and she was so cool and reassuring and really thorough about explaining what she was doing and what we needed to do for aftercare.

I went in yesterday to have two piercings done and it was an all around good experience. The service was efficient and expedient. The woman who did my piercing was friendly and professional. I felt very comfortable in her hands. The store/cash desk space in the front and the piercing station in the back were very clean. The chair I sat in for my piercing was silver and sparkly! This was a far cry from my teenage experience of going to the jewelry store and getting a piercing with a gun. I would definitely come back here if I wanted to get more ear piercings.

i had the best experience at studs, i only have one other cartilage piercing and they made getting a flat helix super quick and easy. i literally have had no radiating pain since the first day, unless my hair accidentally catches it. marlee made sure i was comfortable the whole time and i was literally in n out in 15. thank u studs ! :)<3

Studs was everything and more! Never felt such positive/supportive/fun energy from a piecing shop before. Booked the last appointment of the day to get my daith pierced. Important to note, as I have fainted during several piercings in the past and tried to it avoid this time around. The gals were super sweet and supportive, they took extra good care of be before and after my piercing which went without a hitch. They even let me rest in the chair until the dizziness passed before standing to leave. All in all, an empowering, fun experience with a side of momentary pain. Well worth it!

Studs is always fantastic for piercings. They help with earscaping, and are always so lovely to talk with. They get you hyped for your new piercing and always prepare you properly for any pain and aftercare. Great hypoallergenic jewelry too.

Small cute simple piercing location. Make a reservation about a week in advance to get a time slot that works for you. My piercer unfortunately gave me no care information and wasn’t communicative throughout the process. My friends piercer on the other hand was lovely and nice and informative! I forgot my piercers name or I would warn you away from her.

I recently got pierced in the Melrose place location and had the smoothest piercing experience ever (I have had 10 prior piercings). The staff on the shop floor were so kind and didn’t rush me and the piercer made me feel at ease and calm which is so important to me. The actual piercing was painless (first time ever!!) and the jewelry is so cute.

Great experience from start to finish. My BF and I came here to get some hardware replaced for him and to pierce my ears for the first time. The team at Studs was excellent, they were attentive, friendly and considerate of our concerns. We arrived 15 minutes early as requested in the appointment email, which gave us enough time to talk through the jewelry styles we wanted and the location of the piercings. Once the jewelry was selected, our piercer Marlee marked the spots, confirmed we were comfortable with the location(s), and then explained the healing and aftercare process. I loved that they scheduled an aftercare appointment a few months ahead to check in. You can go a lot of places in LA for a piercing, but there are not many places I’ve been that made me feel warm and welcomed from the moment I walked in. And that is why I’ll be going back to Studs and recommending them to anyone. Shoutout to Kent, Marlee, and Ari for the A+ customer service. Disclosure - we received comp’d services, however there was no requirements for a review.

Studs is great!! The piercing was painless and the whole process was explained to me by my piercer. My only minor complaint was, the shop is really small and I had to wait outside. It would have been nice to have a bench or a chair to sit on while waiting. Other than that, it's in a great location and everyone was friendly.

Booking was about a month out and gave me time to drool over some of the new collections. When I went, it was slow so there was no rush and no waiting outside—big plus since the heat has been killer! Inside is small but I got checked in and filled out the digital waiver before selecting my studs. I got my lobes pierced by Maddy and it was virtually painless. The vibe was ridiculously chill and the selection is cute—be warned the 14k pieces are a little pricey but in line for other higher-end shops. You can also only get 2 piercings at a time so if you want to go all out, you’ll need to go elsewhere. I felt it was totally worth the price and you’re likely to fall in love with the other pieces they have in the shop!

This was the BEST piercing experience I've ever had! I love that you don't have to go into a dark tattoo shop (lol) to get a piercing. They also are incredibly specific. The woman who pierced my ears measured on each lobe to ensure they were exactly even. And the options they have are sooo cute and versatile. 10 out of 10 recommend going here if you're looking to pierce your ears!

So, I absolutely LOVED the selection of earrings that they have for healed ears, however, I was very disappointed in their new piercing earring selection. The cheapest gold option was $80. Even a simple 14k gold stud I can purchase online in solid gold of the same style is half the price. I understand that this is the premier new place to get piercings, I just wish they accommodated more price points and styles. There were 5 silver studs for $30. That's it. So, if you want a cute new pair of earrings for your healed ears I would totally hit this place up, however if you want to get pierced I would probably go to a tattoo/piercing studio.
