I made an appointment to see artist Mario for his realism tattoo style. The front desk is friendly and knowledgeable. The process for making appointments and checking availability is pretty smooth to do. There is constant communication and they even offer payment plans too. Overall the process was easy and quick. Mario is really laid back and cool. It didn’t feel like awkward or uncomfortable. The whole shop is friendly and makes the environment very comfortable especially being there for over 8 hours. A total time for my tattoo was 17 hours, 2 days , 2 sessions. It is pricy but you pay what you get. Which is the best to me. I recommend this artist for anyone looking to get a realism tattoo. This is beyond anything I ever thought or expected

The staff is helpful and friendly. I have had tattoo removal and a new tattoo with Skin Design. Anthony is your removal guy, he is educated and makes the process easier. Demi was AMAZING with my mom, sister and I as we all wanted different tattoos. She made the experience fun, smooth and stress free. She is accommodating and patient. She is extremely detail oriented and is simply the best artist I’ve ever worked with. I will never go anywhere else!

Had my first ever ink done here by Meg. The entire process was perfect from start to finish. The booking manager, Jay, was thorough and got me in and set up quick, answered all my questions along the way. Everyone I talked to at the shop was friendly and stoked for me. Meg is an amazing artist, the time flew by while she was working on my arm and I could not be happier with my tattoo. Will be booking more appointments ASAP.

Mad shout out to the Skin Designs team and especially my main man Keebs. The facility (located in the Forum Shops at Caesar's Place) was super laid back, clean and everyone there treated us like old time friends. From Jesse and Trish at the welcome desk, and even the other artists that frequently stopped by to compliment the work. It truly was a great experience. They took a design idea and totally blew my expectations out of the water. If you need inked, give these guys a shout you will not be disappointed. They’ve earned a customer for life and I cannot thank Keebs enough for totally killing it.

The shop is very upscale and clean in a convenient location just off the I-15. The artists were all very friendly and easy to talk to. My artist, EJ did an awesome job composing my arm sleeve and explaining how he was going to go about the cover up aspects of my piece. He also happens to tattoo with a method that reduced the amount of pain I was expecting which made it easy to sit for a few hours. I definitely recommend this shop if you’re interested in quality work.

I had the best experience with CAT and Skin Design. All of the artists and front desk employees are super friendly and nice. Cat, in my opinion, is one of the most talented artists I have seen! Her work is absolutely incredible. I had my own ideas of what I wanted, but Cat nailed the design and the rest was history. I am so happy, Grateful, and lucky to have a tattoo by Cat Castro. I got a tattoo here spontaneously on vacation in Las Vegas and am thrilled to the max. I felt very comfortable the whole time and Claude has done a great job. I have never experienced so much professionalism. It is the most beautiful tattoo I "own". From now on I will probably have to take 11 hours flight on me if I ever want a new tattoo :-)

We had a fantastic experience from start to finish with Skin Design Tattoo. Their tattoo booking coordinator Jay is amazing and worked patiently with us to find the right artist and appointment times. My daughter and I were both scheduled with Demi and we LOVED her as a person and as an artist. She worked with us to get exactly the designs we wanted (even though we we a bit indecisive). She is extremely talented and personable. The rest of the staff was welcoming and upbeat and and we felt very comfortable and respected throughout our entire visit. We are both exceptionally happy with our tattoos and our time at Skin Design. We will definitely return on our next visit to Vegas for more ink with Demi!

My daughter and I finally got our first tattoos! We were both very excited, but very anxious at the same time. Not knowing what to expect, it can be terrifying for your first tattoo. All the way from when we first walked in, until we left, we had the most amazing experience! The customer service that we received was beyond exceptional! Demi was not only incredible with her artwork and exceeded our expectations, she was friendly and an absolute joy to be with while we were there! I highly recommend skin design tattoo for your next tattoo! Not only were we at ease the whole time, our tattoos far beyond surpassed what we expected ❤️

I've gotten a full sleeve, a large thigh piece, and now starting on my other sleeve with Justin! I absolutely adore his work and I feel so comfortable giving him lots of freedom to create the designs. He also did such a phenomenal job of incorporating my old tattoos into my sleeve. He has a light touch when tattooing, but they always heal perfectly. So excited to continue working with him!

While in Vegas, my son wanted to get a Tattoo. Skin Design’s live chat, texting and appointment set up was simple and easy They accommodated our limited availability and the tattoo is very clean art and steady lines. It was a fantastic experience start to finish with Tony and all the staff. While the session was a little more than we wanted to spend and the tattoo took a little longer than estimated, the overall professionalism of the experience was well worth it! It’s a busy studio with amazing artistic abilities! We will be back.

Demi did an absolutely wonderful job tattooing me! I got a tattoo with very fine lettering that was the handwriting of someone close to me who passed away, and Demi did an absolutely amazing job. She prepared me for what it would entail, was quick but meticulous and she is just an all around cool person. I came here while on vacation. I was quoted $500 for 4 hours of work. Tye drawing & work only took abt 3-3.5 @ most. The rest of time my artist was outside getting his dog, etc. The work was ok. The extra I wanted to make realistic made it look chicken scratched. I had to reach out to an artist in my town to see if wld fix. This was by far an experience lesson learned. Not to get tattoos when out on vacation.

My entire experience was amazing from start to finish. It was a difficult session for me to book as it was in memory of my Frenchie who has crossed the rainbow bridge. Everyone was very understanding and the best part is that my tattoo is absolutely amazing. The shop is very welcoming and immaculately clean, and I was greeted immediately. Orlando was absolutely fantastic and meticulous in ensuring that my tattoo was as true to the picture as possible. It was a four hour session and was for me the highlight of my visit to Vegas. yes my experience and tattoo were perfect blah blah blah but only on here because i promised the lovely jesse at spring mountain road skin design that i would leave a review but i opted to instead leave helpful advice/pointers/ suggestions to others (now that i have new found respect for tattoos and tattoo artists and tattoo salons and what they go through day to day) pretty please be kind & tip your tattoo artist!! you wouldnt go to a dinner and spend five grand and not leave your waitress a tip right? why is a $5000 tattoo any different? esp looong hour sessions! seriously! some of these talented artists are former military veterans with purple hearts ....some are comprimising posture and form to stand over your ribs for two days straight to ensure incredible detail goes into your tattoo while having a bad back...or some are working the front desk politely greeting you after taking phone calls from angry difficult strangers!! either way please just be nice, be professional, be respectful. remember you and your artist want the same outcome! a perfect tattoo:) respect the process , be prepared, shower and for the love of god please vemo these artists a generous tip they deserve it or just play it old school and tip cash it doesnt require technology:):) btw: the "apprentice" title is all political and does not mean "less talented or less experienced or "less good"of an artist ! the majority are just as good and in some cases better etc etc happy needling folks!!!

I got a foot tattoo from Angel last Monday, I was so excited to get it done and I'm over the moon with it, now I'm so psyched showing it off. He worked hard to get the right size and design I was looking for, such a great artist and easy to chat away to, had a fantastic time. A couple of other artists came in during my session too and were just as friendly. The girls on the front desk are lovely and helpful too. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Angel and Skin Design, they are amazing and have some great artwork up. A++++++++++

it started with a small cover up.... we discussed what we wanted before scheduling was told it would be a full day job. No worries paid the 600$ deposit... was given a day and time.. Saturday at Noon. we show up early but store not open until noon. Artist was not prepared..145 artist finally comes talk to us.... 7 pm finally start work. 1130 had to stop due problems personal problems. rescheduled for 3 weeks later... appointment at 12, got a message artist is running late on another tat push an hour. show up at 1 gonna be another hour... 230 gonna be another 2 hours... 5 he is finally ready, starts working on tat about 630... at 11 we had to stop due to had to pick up friends at the airport.(which was stated prior too) now the tat is about 80% complete and the shop wants another 600$ to finish it... so two sessions with a total of 8 hours of work in both sessions was not enough to do a flower on the calf that can be covered by a hand.... highly do not recommend this shop... now i have to find a decent artist to finish it

I visited Skin Design Tattoo for my first ever tattoo at age 66. From Jesse at the front desk to my marvelous artist Demi DiMartino, everyone was courteous, professional and friendly. I was made completely at ease. Though this was intended to be my first and last tattoo, if I were to get more, I would only go to Skin Design Tattoo. I must commend my artist Demi for her meticulous attention to detail, her intelligent conversation and enjoyable sense of humor. She made me feel welcome and we were joint collaborators in a very successful product. I'm extremely happy with how this turned out. I say Bravo to Skin Design Tattoo and I consider them to be included in the Best of Las Vegas!

Went in for my first tattoo I got something really simple that I've been wanting for a while(umbrella from BMTH) was in vegas for the weekend for my friends bachelor party and wanted to get it while I was in vegas. I messaged them through the website they then messaged me through txt super simple easy questions.(about the tattoo you want) I was able to set up something with Keenan as my artist and ended up being one rememberable tattoo experience. Place was super clean (my top priority) nice people very friendly and Keenan knocked my tattoo out of the park. Very happy with my new tattoo little on the pricey side but you get what you pay for and I mainly didn't care about the price cus I was more worried about the cleanliness off the establishment and was satisfied. Keenan space smelt like a doctors operation room that's how you know they clean there stuff regularly.

My tattoo artist is Claude he went above and beyond to work with me in translating my conceptual tattoo design into a final design. He is visionary and skillful in his designs. I highly recommend this tattoo shop for first timers, or those seeking a cover up tattoo.

Had an awesome experience with Orlando here. When I booked the appointment, I wasn’t one hundred percent sure what I wanted and left the final choice up to him, and he came through. Orlando was personable, and kind during the entire session, and didn’t make it feel rushed even though it took more than 10 hours. The detail and attention that was put into this tattoo is mind blowing. Everyone has loved it that has seen it. I’m absolutely blown away by his work. You’re definitely going to pay more than you would at most shops, but you get what you pay for. If you want a cheap tattoo, maybe this place isn’t for you. If you want a piece of art for the rest of your life, check out Orlando.

From the communication of setting up my appointment to the time spent in the studio, I could have not asked for a better experience. Ileana and Ashley were super helpful when it came to sending in images of what I wanted and communicating with the artist to set up my appointment. Then Jake went above and beyond rearranging his schedule to make my appointment happen while I was in town. I absolutely love my tattoo and received compliments immediately after leaving the studio. Recently got a cover-up with Andy at Skin Design. Can't possibly say enough good things about this shop and the people. Super clean, high end shop. The consultation process.was easy, and Kesia was super helpful. Andy was a total pro and worked with me to come up with an epic piece, better than I could have possibly envisioned without his help. Andy had a great touch while tattooing, and because of that, I was able to last through a big piece without much of an issue. And of course, I ended up with an unbelievable piece of artwork! Getting an appointment at skin design was super easy and quick! ALL artists from this shop are extremely talented. Very professional, I usually go to Ricky and he does a killer job every time, amazing vibes during the session. The shop is located on the 34th floor in Honolulu also has amazing views. Prices can be a bit on the higher end, but it’s 100% worth the work the artists put in. I’d rather spend the little bit extra on tattoos because they are permanent and amazingly done by the artists at skin design. If I could put more than 5 stars I would haha thanks SDT! :)

I received my first tattoo at Skin Design Tattoo. I have a beautiful rib piece that was done by Jake Ingersoll. Walking into the shop you are welcomed by friendly faces and a clean energetic atmosphere. Looking at all the pictures on the wall and each individual work space you can feel the competency and professionalism of each artist. I presented Jake with a very rough idea of what I thought I wanted, a small realistic octopus. When I came into the shop Jake presented me with the design he produced and I was blown away. It was something I could have never imagined for myself but it was perfect and I loved it. My tattoo was a large detailed piece that took a total of 10.5 hrs (including sketch and placement time). Throughout the entire process Jake made sure I was as comfortable as I could be and communicated with me about what he was doing. Other artists that were working on other clients came to offer their support and cheer me on through this process. As most know, rib tattoos can be very painful. Jake was very supportive and helped me endure the unavoidable pain. I love the energy that fills this tattoo shop. Jake is an amazing artist that I trust and I would return to for any tattoos I might get in the future. The price I paid for my piece completed in one session was $2400 and worth every dollar. I would highly recommend this tattoo shop and appreciate the amazing people that work there who made my first tattoo experience perfect.

Robert Pho and the Skin Design staff are without a doubt the best tattoo company I've seen. Robert is absolutely one of the best tattoo artists ever. His creative design and vision coupled with his attention to detail make his tattoos a true work of art. It is unreal what he can do. Eugene did an excellent job on my tattoo I got about 2 weeks ago! The staff was very patient and understanding in postponing the initial appointment time due to traffic issues. Eugene was very precise in his tattooing and the script came out excellent at the end, I love it!! He also took the time to explain the aftercare properly at the end, and answered any questions I had. Love this shop and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new tattoo! My wife and I both got tattoos with Jake at Skin Design last weekend and we both had a great experience. Jake is a super laid back dude & very talented guy!!! Being a rookie I was a little nervous how it would turn out, but he took the time to listen to my ideas for my piece and then designed the whole thing EXACTLY as I had envisioned. It turned out perfectly sized with plenty of detail and I couldn't be happier - absolutely awesome job with and now my only problem is I can't stop looking at my new tattoo!!! Even better though, he did a pretty complicated cover-up on my wife. You absolutely cannot find the old tattoo under his work and it turned out amazing. She wanted that old tattoo covered up for 17 years and Jake made it happen for her in just a few hours. It has beautiful detail & vibrant colors in the roses he did and precise and clean lines in the mandala pattern surrounding the roses. Spectacular work!!! We flew all the way to Vegas to have Jake do this work (even bought a piece of his art while we were there) and it was well worth it!!! Glad we found such a talented guy who was willing to work with our ideas to create the perfect tattoos for us!!! Awesome job and great experience with Jake at Skin Design!!!

I was looking for a place to get my very first tattoo. I am very much a perfectionist with OCD and probably the reason I haven’t gotten a tattoo thus far in life. My friend and I were coming to Vegas so I did my research. I read all the reviews of many places this was by far the best all around. Cleanliness was my main concern. I scheduled our appointment (with Eugene) about a month out paying our deposit with the intent if it looked different from the pictures on the website I would forego the deposit. It looked exactly like the website, very clean, staff was super friendly and can not recommend Eugene enough. He accommodate my every request, and was very much a perfectionist like myself, and kept working with me until I was completely satisfied, same with my friend. I had some swelling but by the next day it had already subsided and almost healed. My friend who has several tattoos said he was by far the best, and she had no pain and was already healing. If you are looking for a place and not from the area, unaware of where to go, I highly recommended this place!

I went with Mathilda because I loved her style and her past work showed that she can really pull off my design. I used the shop's online consultation, and Tessa got back to me promptly by email. It's only been 2 weeks and I've already scheduled another appt with Justin through Christian and get this... he actually remembered me when I called the studio. What service & care. They have snacks and drinks available for affordable prices if your running late and hungry or feeling lightheaded during your tattoo. The bathrooms are clean and there are plenty of comfy couches available so you don't have to stand or sit on top of someone while waiting. From the beginning of doing our research on this shop we only read great things and saw some amazing pieces coming from their artists. Everything from the shops Facebook page to Instagram and webpage was superb and helpful. Our first contact was setting up our initial interest and what we wanted and where, the shop got back to us in great timing and was professional in their emails and once they got an idea of what we wanted and our time frames of being in Las Vegas they rang us up where we were told about the artist they think would work best and the initial meeting with the artist to talk about designs and actual appointments. The ladies we initially spoke to were very helpful considering we knew nothing about the process and were a little lost with everything so no surprise when we met the ladies in the shop to talk to our artist they were amazingly helpful and really made our experience throughout our time at the shop. Meeting our artist was another home run because they set us up with two phenomenal gentlemen. Myself wanting a tribal piece and being a female so pretty small area to work with I got set up with Eugene who has amazing line work. Eugene and I came to the conclusion of sticking to his traditional work of Polynesian inspired pieces and came up with a beautiful one of a kind piece for my shoulder. I was beyond happy about what he did from the few ideas I gave him and the overall turnout of the tattoo. Eugene ensured I was comfortable with everything throughout the whole process and was great conversation and when it was all said and done I'd go back to him for future prices. Now my buddy is a tall dude who wanted a color piece but decided it a little late so the initial artist Angel he got set up with wasn't who he ended up with but Angel was a straight shooter with what were in his realm of capabilities and went ahead and set him up with someone in the shop that could give my buddy what he wanted which brought us to Jake who was energetic happy dude with some mad skills. Jake created a design for the thigh that incorporated everything my friend wanted and was amazing to watch work. Both of our appointments were set up without any hassle and in a time frame that was perfect for what we needed considering were there for a rugby tournament. Awesome shop, great atmosphere, and just perfection when it comes to their work. Definitely who I recommend if you are visiting and thinking about a tattoo!

Andy’s amazing assistants (Michelle/Ileana) were extremely helpful in answering all my questions and fitting me into his busy schedule under such short notice. I have to tell you, this man is a BEAST! I was visiting Las Vegas and knew I wanted to get a new tattoo, I did my research online and after having read all the reviews I decided to try Skin Design Tattoo. I e-mailed via the web site briefly outlining what I wanted, I already had some tattoos and wanted the new to work with the old. I received a prompt response from Ileana. She asked me to send in pictures of what I was looking for and where I wanted the new tattoo, so that she could connect me with the most appropriate artist for the type of work I wanted. Unlike the reviewer that thought this a strange request, I felt this resonated their professionalism. Having sent in the photos I received an email back saying that Vic, one of their apprentices, would be able to meet my needs. At first I was apprehensive of an apprentice doing the work, but after looking at photos of his work I felt that he was more than capable. I was required to pay a deposit of $100.00, again unlike another reviewer this seems perfectly acceptable. The artist is holding his time and if you are a no show, he loses out. Plus if your serious about getting work why does it matter! I went to the studio/shop a couple of days prior to my appointment to check out the place and fortunately also got to meet Vic. I was very impressed with the studio which is well designed, clean and the staff very helpful. Vic took time to chat with my design thoughts. I was quoted $400.00 for the new tattoo. I arrived for my appointment and we discussed design and color and after showing me the design on my skin, Vic got to work. I was in the studio for 6.5 hrs and the result was beautiful, Vic normally charges $80 an hour but honored the quoted $400.00 and no I didn't have to ask him to do that. I was so impressed with his work I went back for two more 6 hour sessions to update some pre-existing tattoos. The finished result is fantastic and I am very happy with it. I have received several compliments from strangers as well as friends. I highly recommend Vic and Skin Design Tattoo. I plan to go back later in the year to have more work on my leg to be completed by Vic

If it weren't for the long voyage to get there, hands down, I would put Jake to the task of a full sleeve on me! The cleanest and most professional tattoo studio I have ever been in. I'm getting a full sleeve by Robert Pho. He tattoed me for 8 hours straight and only took a couple five minute breaks. The man is a machine. His work speaks for itself. I left his studio and headed straight to walmart down the street to buy a long sleeve shirt to keep my new artwork out of the sun. The second I got out of the car I had people stop me to compliment the work. And it hasn't stopped. Robert, Kelly and everyone else at the shop are great. The whole day while I was there people were sweeping, cleaning the windows, emptying the garbage cans. If they put that much effort into keeping the shop clean you can imagine how professional they are when it comes to the cleanliness and safety while you are being tattooed. I'll be back next year for another 8 hours. I can't wait to see the new shop. I've been tattoed by other artists in the US and mexico but from now on Robert Pho is the only person that will be doing any ink on me.

What can I say other than I am speechless. When my daughter said that she wanted to get a tattoo there was really nothing I can say since she's over 21 years of age. Needless to say, I was horrified to see what she had done and after paying me a visit I was floored. This is the most realistic and detailed tattoo I have ever seen. One of my best tattoo experiences! This place is incredible - the staff are super welcoming, the artists are so talented, and our artist Demi was SUCH a blast! I highly recommend this place if you're in Vegas - we checked out a few other ones while we were down there, but this one was so personable and accommodating, I couldn't recommend it more! Not to mention their customer service experience was exceptional! Here's hoping I can head back there again and get another one some day!

Es war mein erstes Tattoo und ich hatte natürlich etwas Bammel, aber schon als ich den Laden betrat (Termin hatte ich Monate im Voraus per Mail abgemacht) war alle Angst verflogen. Der Laden ist klasse. Hell, freundlich, modern und vor allem sehr sauber. Ich habe während meines Urlaubs noch einige andere Tattoo-Studios gesehen. Ich bin so froh, bei Skin Design einen Termin gemacht zu haben, denn das ist mit Abstand der beste Laden in Vegas! Die Empfangsmädels Ileana und Ashley sind super freundlich und es hat auch im Vorwege mit der Kommunikation und Termin- bzw. Motivauswahl alles super funktioniert. Andy hat mich tätowiert. Er ist super nett und ich habe mich sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Die Session hat 4 Stunden gedauert. Andy hat 2 Pausen gemacht. Das war echt top, da ich die ganze Zeit auf der rechten Seite liegen und den Arm über den Kopf halten musste. Das Ergebnis ist besser, als ich es mir hätte ausmalen können. Ich bin super zufrieden und kann Skin Design nur empfehlen! I'm so glad I made an appointment with Skin Design as this is by far the best shop in Vegas! The receptionists Ileana and Ashley are super friendly and everything worked great in advance with the communication and the selection of dates and motifs. Andy tattooed me. He is super nice and I felt very well looked after. The session lasted 4 hours. Andy took 2 breaks. That was really great because I had to lie on my right side the whole time and hold my arm over my head. The result is better than I could have imagined. I am super satisfied and can only recommend Skin Design!

Das Studio ist extrem sauber und modern. Ich habe Andi ausgewählt der mir auf Basis meiner Ideen und Skizzen mit Photoshop ein Motiv auf Papier und dann auf die Schulter gezaubert hat. Terminvereinbarung schon Monate vorher und alles hat tadellos geeklappt. Das Ergebnis ist verblüffend photorealistisch und hat meine Erwartungen bei Weitem übertroffen. Fühle mich jetzt mit einem Werk unvollständig ;) (Translation) The studio is extremely clean and modern. I chose Andi, who used Photoshop to conjure up a motif on paper based on my ideas and sketches and then put it on my shoulder. Appointments were made months in advance and everything went perfectly. The result is amazingly photorealistic and far exceeded my expectations. Now feel incomplete with a work ;)
