I have told Phong many times now and I mean it 100%, I will never go to anyone else for a tattoo ever again. I have gotten 3 by him and 3 by Sam so far and I couldn't have possibly asked for anything better. Sam gave me exactly what I wanted and helped me honor my loved ones with the tattoos she did. Phong has been nothing but amazing to work with. I love the passion he has for what he does and the effort and care he puts into the art. He works so well to make your visions come to life while honoring what he knows as the amazing artist he is. I could go on and on about how much I love my tattoos and how unbeatable my experiences with him have been. Every single time someone asks about my tattoos, I rave about Phong and how great he is and I am so glad he introduced me to Sam so that I can do the same for her. I couldn't possibly recommend anyone more than I do him or Sam. In reference to the photos -- Phong did the hand & butterfly, the full sleeve, and the photo of my bunny. Sam did the outline of my dog's ears and the signatures from my parents. All turned out better than I imagined.

Phong is pretty amazing. He is a perfectionist and has very gentle touch. My daughter got her first tattoo done by Phong and said it didn’t hurt at all. I got the same rose tattoo as my daughter and I can attest that it didn’t hurt a bit. His studio is very relaxing and Phong is a pretty funny guy. I will be back for more work.

Had a great experience with Phong Tattoo. Communication was great from start to finish. I appreciated being able to text back and forth and send pictures prior to coming in for my appointment. I wanted to start a half sleeve a little over 6 months ago but no artist in Indy was willing to do the exact art style I wanted. Phong tattoo does not disappoint though. For the price and the craftsmanship this is the only place in Indiana where I would get a tattoo.

Both my first and my second tattoo with Phong were incredible tattoos and i have already plan to come back for my third and my fourth tattoo (and I’m from Virginia). Phong is a thorough professional tattoo artist, especially in fine line arts. He would go beyond to draw the exact designs you would absolutely fall in love with.

Phong is AMAZING! I live in Michigan and my best friend lives here in Indiana. She has raved about him for years. I drove here this weekend just to get our matching tattoo together! It was worth the drive and money! Price was reasonable, and he was so thorough at making sure it was PERFECT! I went to 4 different artists that would not even look at my 30 year old faded tat. They would not "work on another guys ink" even if the original artist(s) was dead and the tatt needed fixing. Ink fades after 30 years. The motivations change after 30 years. Phong saw that this tatt was a good outline but needed help and not a triple sized cover up. He listened and did not make stupid assumptions like the previous 4 artists. I LOVE IT. WORTH THE WAIT. He has a wait list for a reason.

He was super honest with me about how the design I had originally intended to get wouldn't work in the long-run, as he explained that the ink would eventually blot together and smudge. Taylor was my piercer at the shop. She did my Medusa piercing (septum was at a different shop). She doesn’t really work with oral piercings but I asked her if she does the Medusa and she does! She had a nice variety of jewelry options, she got her placement just right the first time marking it, and she talked me through the entire process. I wasn’t nervous about the piercing, only excited, and considering how well the piercing turned out the excitement was well worth it! Thank you Taylor!

Received my first tattoo from Phong Ho. He has a clean, neat one chair shop in Carmel, Indiana. I had been following him on FaceBook and really liked his work. I contacted him via Face Book and texted him reference images. He asked for a deposit in order to confirm an appointment. I delivered the deposit in person to check out the shop. Phong uses messaging to remind and confirm appointments. He messaged me well in advance to let me know he was running a bit late. Upon arrival, we verified the image. He drew up the template as I watched and we discussed placement. He chose his colors and carefully laid out his ink cup pallet as this would be a color image. He tattoos like a painter and used 3 different needle configurations. The actual tattoo took about 1 1/2 hrs to do and he applied a clear sani bandage. He gave me clear directions on aftercare. I’ve had no adverse reactions and good healing. This was done during Covid restrictions—we both wore masks. Phong was professional and careful. He executed the artwork beautifully. I highly recommend PhongTattoo.
