Great tattoo shop with lots of artists! I worked with Jenny to schedule appts for 3 of us while a girlfriend was in town the next week. Jenny found us the right artists and got us set up for fabulous tattoos. The artists were great - Hector, Kai, & Cammy. Hector was able to calm my stressed out sister, Kai did an absolutely stunning cover-up, and Cammy did a great linework drawing I wanted. We're all very happy with our tattoos! Thank you! Will definitely be going back! Even when I passed out for a sec (totally embarrassing!) - they all made sure I was taken care of! Great team of caring artists! Second visit was just as great!

Awesome talent at this shop! I scheduled an appointment with Olivia. She was patient adjusting my custom tattoo, and clarified to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. Straight to business, not a bunch of chatting (which I don't mind at all) and got done within 3 hours. Gorgeous colors, delicate shading, and great attention to detail. Will absolutely return if I decide to get another tattoo!

Fantastic place to get piercings or tattoos. Recommended by a friend of mine and definitely lived up to my expectations. I made an appointment and brought in a picture of the tattoo design, which Kai(tattoo artist) matched exactly. In fact, i think the detail on mine is better than the picture. I loved how helpful Vicky was in regard to my piercing. Initially went in to get my lobes pierced but Vicky was kind enough to let me know that what I wanted wasn't exactly what I could get (because of my previous piercings). Then I decided to get a flat and she advised on what ear and the placement. Ended up loving my piercing so much!!! Definitively recommend her for any piercings. Thank you Vicky!

I went right when they opened at 2 and had no issues! I got two different tattoos and am in love with both. They precision is amazing! I got a recommendation from a friend and will definitely continue to use them in the future! The place was very clean and thorough. They used seat covers between customers and had everyone wait outside the shop. The only ones allowed in are those getting ink and the artist. I definitely recommend!

Peng designed a beautiful cover up for me that went over an originally very spread out and very dark tattoo. I'm obsessed with the new tattoo that Peng did - it's beautiful!! I wasn't quite sure what design I wanted at first, and Peng was super patient with me during the whole process. He really worked with me to make sure the design would not only work as a cover up, but also suited my taste/preference. Peng charged hourly, but he also finished the tattoo much quicker than I thought it would take (only took 3.5 hours!). He worked with a timer and only charged me for the time he spent actually tattooing (he'd pause the timer whenever I needed a break or so). I highly recommend Assassin Tattoo to any one looking for their next ink!! Be sure to make an appointment since they get really busy

I went to Assassin Tattoo and got 2 pieces done by Jay. He was very professional and I’m extremely happy with how they turned out. I brought in a sketch done by my late sister for reference and Jay did an incredible job refining the sketch and tattooing the final piece. It was my first time visiting Assassin Tattoo but definitely will not be my last. The only negative from the appointment was space related. There was someone else laying on a separate table/bed getting tattooed the same time that I was, very close to me. We had our shoes off and our feet were close to one another’s heads. Not exactly sanitary. I think there should be some kind of separation between clients while they're getting tattooed, for sanitary reasons.

Highly recommend this place if you’re in the Houston area! Such a friendly and amazing staff, all of their artists are talented and really make you feel welcomed. I came in with a group of friends from out of town to get spontaneous tattoos, and they really did everything to help accommodate us. I got my tattoo done by the owner Peng. His other client rescheduled and Peng opened a spot for me as I was waiting on my friends to finish. We diligently worked on the design together to get something that we were both happy with and I can not appreciate that any more. This man works FAST! And the quality of his work still remains amazing!

Got a tattoo from Kat from this location. Kat did a great job answering all my questions, and very accomadting to clients. She specializes in more of an cartoon/anime style and did great on what I wanted. Also great conversationalist, not a dry moment, or maybe I'm just strange like that! However, I'm deducting a star due to interruptions mid tattoo. I understand some of it was a teaching moment from the boss (who actually suggested to make the beanie the color it is, and to leave the skin tone as mine) but I recall sitting there for at least 15 minutes mid tattoo while nothing happened. Other than that, phenomenal place to get a tat. All the artists have great portfolios with different specialties.

And I gotta say that J, my tattoo artist, did an amazing job! I showed him a pic of something that I want and he transformed this idea into a real art! I’m into science and this dude did the whole black matter singularity thing on my rib! I have not seen a tattoo like I have on no one and that feels pretty damn special. This is real art and I’m so thankful my artist did it with heart!

I was treated like royalty at assassin studio. I had Chinese tea in a traditional setting with Peng (the Owner) before and after every session. We then discussed about the piece and his team also helped put together this for me. It about 2 months and he made sure I was satisfied before we ever began on the tattoo. This piece took 12hrs to complete at 4 sessions. All the other artists were also very talented from the work i got to witness. Assassin studio is Hands down the best shop in Houston and anybody looking for quality professional work I recommend coming here. Note - (this is not cheap tattoo shop Everybody that works here are true professionals artist.

This review is long overdue, I had the pleasure of having Abi tattoo me and it was a great experience. They were extremely professional and made my vision come to life. I wanted saitama in a tarot card and split in half with reflecting images. The tattoo turned out amazing and the ink didn’t fade at all, it’s so pigment and the lines are so clean and neat. Once Covid goes away they will be seeing me again!

Decided to check out Assassin after getting several tattoos done at other places. I wanted a trash polka style piece that integrated elements from several of my favorite video games. Definitely wanted to make sure I had an artist that could bring my idea to life, and Jack did just that. He was easy to get in touch with and responsive to my ideas and tweaks that I wanted, was very professional and gave me a really awesome and unique tattoo. The price was very reasonable too. I'd definitely recommend this place.

I am both disappointed and pleased. The tattoo itself was done by Jack. He was professional and worked quickly.He was accommodating to make me feel comfortable during the tattooing process. I’d give Jack a 5/5. It was very well done and I will post photo of it once it’s healed. My problem was the confusion around the security deposit. I understood that it would apply to my tattoo’s total cost, however, I changed the design a week out and this was the reason they claimed the deposit did not apply to the total cost in this case. Communication was also a bit of an issue with the shop around payment not the artist. The tattoo total cost was $300 for a palm sized flower in full color. I also, had reached out to another artist with the idea of a sleeve that I am hesitant on because of work but wanted to see a design. This second artist was not very professional. He responded only with “ok” twice to messages with questions on them and then never responded to my final message to schedule a consultation where I could leave a deposit. A friend of mine was planning on going to this second artist as well but has since changed his mind with this information. Half the job is how you treat a client in my opinion.

I went in to get my first cartilage piercing and it was very good. the staff were very friendly and helpful. i had vicki as my piercer and she was very helpful, answered all my questions and did it quickly. the placement was perfect and she gave me aftercare instructions as well. This was my first tattoo and I couldn't be more happy! My sister and I came here to get tattoos together and we worked with Owen. While we did message before briefly to talk about the design we never really settled on anything concrete so when we went in person, we had quite a few revisions before landing on this design. However, beware that there is quite a big language barrier if you don't speak chinese. My sister and I are lucky enough to speak some Chinese so for most of the process we didn't need the translator but for some of the more detailed parts we did need the translator. Even with all that, both my sister and I were in and out of the place in 2 hours which I think is very respectable given the design phase. I think pricing was reasonable but also this was my first tattoo so idk how much they usually cost.

i got my first tattoo with olivia and had a great experience! we did a custom design and olivia was very knowledgeable in terms of what would work for a tattoo's composition and provided useful advice and insight. since it was my first tattoo i was apprehensive about the pain but olivia has a steady and efficient hand. she does beautiful art and definitely knows how to translate that onto skin. i'm really so amazed by her color work! as for the shop, though there were a good amount of people in there during my appointment it never felt crowded or loud. everything was clean and sterilized. the staff isn't too chatty which i didn't mind, just bring something to distract you if you're going in for a long session. thank you assassin!

Hao did identical wildflower tattoos for my mother and I and he did a phenomenal job. The shop took COVID concerns very seriously, all wearing masks, sanitizing every surface before and after each client, using clear wrap to protect textiles for each person, GREAT job! The shop is clean, organized, and I was impressed with everyone’s professionalism! Will be going here again, no doubt!

Besides the tattoo she was also so kind during the entire 5 hour session, and a joy to get work from. Would I get a tattoo from her again? A hundred times yes! In a heartbeat! However, Olivia kept reassuring me that I was doing well, took breaks when she saw fit for me, and worked swiftly and efficiently despite my twitching and crying! The shop is super sleek and clean and the staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable. I am SO happy with how my tattoo came out and my next one will absolutely be at Assassin! My favorite tattoo shop. I came in as a walk in and I ended up getting two tattoos in the same week. They are extremely accommodating. My artist was Kai and he did a wonderful job. There was minimal scarring and the artwork was vibrant and lovely. He was very patient and worked to incorporate my vision with his own style. Now, I took away a star for two reasons: 1. I had to knock multiple times for service. The first time I knocked, I got a guy who said someone would be with me in a moment and I waited about 15 minutes before I knocked again. A different person tells me to wait. Third time, I finally get the manager. The whole process took me half an hour to get to someone. 2. They do have an email address, but I would suggest not to do that because I sent one and it was missed. My appointment was really delayed because of that. Other than that, my suggestion would be knock until you get the manager and make sure someone answers you if you contact them.

When I arrived inside the shop, immediately fell in love with the Decor. It’s chic, as if I entered another era of old time Shanghai. Jessica is simply the BEST tattoo artist I encountered. She was professional, well informed and prepared. I wanted 2 Chinese calligraphy tattoo, one on my shoulder blade and 2nd as an new addition on my side lotus tattoo. It’s important that I find an artist who’s knows Chinese writing. A naive who understands the calligraphy strokes. The entire process is painless. This will be my 6th and 7th tattoo and it’s the ONLY Experience I had that I experienced zero pain. The entire process last 2 hours. It was a painless 2 hours. She’s simply the best. Called and spoke with a lady to ask if she had availability and she confirmed she did. When I arrived she got confirmation of what I wanted done and within minutes I met with Hao. He went over the design with me patiently until I got the exact design I imagined. He even suggested something that made my design even tighter and sleeker!! He also allowed me to join him at the computer and work with him to get the design as close to my specifications as possible. Hao was careful with his work and my design which required a lot of line work. To be fully transparent, some of the lines weren’t straight BUT he immediately went to go fix them as part of his final touches. Hao is truly an expert and professional with the work he does. I highly recommend this place. My artist was Abi who I found through Instagram. She was quick to respond to my messages and questions. I made an appointment after paying a deposit. When I arrived parking wasn’t the worst but I’m not used to parking downtown so I wasn’t that familiar. I arrived early to my appointment and was seen early and was out within an hour or a little less. Abi was very talented and kind and created my tattoo better than my original idea. Hands down the best tattoo shop in Houston! All the artists are really talented and they do great works for me and several of my friends. Most of the artists do not speak English all that well but their owner and manger will help translating so its not a big issue. But it'd be really helpful to bring in some reference photos of what you want so you can show them other than struggling to convey your ideas in words. I recommend owner Peng's work. He charges a bit more than everybody else does but its well worth the money.

I booked a consultation with Adrian at Assassin Tattoo because I really liked his work on his Instagram. He was quick to respond via e-mail and very thorough. I sent him some inspiration pictures and when I came in for my consultation he sketched exactly what I wanted the first time. He even brought up design elements that I hadn't mentioned, but really spoke to me. When I came in for the tattoo, he had come up with an awesome design. It took 6 hours because of the detail he was putting into it. From my conversation with him, I would say he's a very friendly, motivated, and a talented young artist with a lot of artistic integrity. The studio is very clean and I got quick service every time I came in. I'm very, very happy with my tattoo design. Absolutely fabulous. Didn't wait very long at all despite the studio being crowded, and we were (spontaneous) walk-ins on a Saturday evening. Immensely satisfied with the artistic creativity of both Owen and Kai, as well as the efficiency/service rendered by Vicky when we arrived/checked-in. Just one feedback - as the tattoos were covered with ointment, the plastic wrap was moving all over and keeping it safely tucked over the freshly inked area for two hours was challenging :) perhaps a medical-grade tape could be used instead? Other than that, we will most definitely be back. We are officially loyal Assassin Tattoo fans.

First time I came in the tattoo artist had earphones in and barely looked up when talking to me. BUT DO NOT GO HERE FOR PIERCINGS I came to get my bellybutton pierced and the girl pierced it extremely and noticeable crooked. I noticed it immediately but still have to take it out and wait for it to heal before I can get it re-pierced and will definitely NOT be coming back here for that.

My wife and I had both of our tattoos done here. As an artist myself, I designed both of our tattoos, but I always had trouble finding a place that would actually tattoo them on us, as the designs were very complicated. Other places would insist that I change the design under the pretense that they just wouldn't look good on skin. But I suspected they just lacked the skill to do it. Hiro at Assassin, however, took a look and assured me that no changes needed to be made and that it was very doable. I was a little disappointed that the process took longer than what they quoted me, but I didn't want to rush good work. The staff here is friendly, professional, and the tattoos came out great! Hiro was very patient and humble.
