My sister had a really special moment getting an old, regrettable tattoo covered up by Mike Pinto. She was in a car accident 2 years ago and had her arm amputated in addition to crush injuries, broken bones and damaged organs. Long story- but the point is... can you imagine the loss of an arm, and seeing that every day with a tattoo there on your chest that you’ve never liked? What Mike came up with was a way to cover that tattoo, plus spread a gorgeous floral motif over the shoulder and down the arm to her prosthetic. It’s beautiful, she feels beautiful, and during the times when she was scared or in pain, he talked her down and helped her walk through fears. I believe this client & artist match was meant to be, because he helped her in a way that’s impossible to plan or replicate. I’m so impressed.

I’ve been going to Thick as thieves for a few years and have gotten tattoos by multiple artists that work at the shop. The owner Mike Pinto has hooked me up with an amazing back piece. Gordy is a super cool dude and makes sick tattoos at the best prices in town. I’ve never had a bad experience. Rad dudes that make Rad tattoos at decent prices. As long as I live in Denver I will always get my tattoos at thick as thieves.

Mike Pinto has integrity and he is an amazing person and artist. Thick As Thieves tattoo shop has always been a place where custom tattoos are the main focus. We can from out of town and decided to get a tattoo while on vacation. When we came for our scheduled appointment there was a slight mix up with the appointment we scheduled and they were very professional and figured it out quickly. Everyone was very professional and nice. John did my tattoo and man his lines are CRISP. I will definitely come back here again if we're ever in the Denver area. Also the "CEO" of the shop was funny as hell and definitely makes the feel of the shop relaxed and welcoming.

Ian is fantastic! Walked in with 2 girlfriends wanting small matching tattoos. Ian happily took us on and we had such a great time with him. I really appreciated how fun he was with us, and didn’t make us feel stupid for such minimal tattoos. Be prepared to be there for a hot minute, but only becuase he took his time properly setting up and completely cleaning his station before each of us. Ian was great and I would highly recommend!

I've been getting tatted by Michael Martinez and his work is immaculate. I love his style and his quickness. The place is super chill and the art on the walls admiring to look at. Even when I lived in other states the past two years I still made time to come in when I had an idea I really wanted done. I cant wait to get more and maybe even try out some of their other artists from time to time. My dad also really likes them and Michael has done some of his tatts as well! With all the health safety concerns going on right now they were super sanitary with every single step of the way. Very commendable. A very easy to find shop and lots of great artists there. Been to a lot of tattoo shops where the artists make you feel stupid or uncomfortable or they're just plain rude. Had the opposite experience here. The people here are awesome and really make you comfortable. Adam did my boyfriend's tattoo and Ryan did mine. Great guys, great atmosphere, great tattoos. Highly recommend coming here.

Highly recommend The basics- Very clean Very professional Very friendly None pretentious vibe I have many tattoos and came in for a simple tattoo. Scott tattooed me and was a great experience above a great tattoo. My young daughter accompanied me and everyone at the shop went out of their way to make her feel comfortable and welcomed. I went in today to Thick As Thieves Tatoo in Denver. Liz at the reception area was really professional and helpful. She guided me to tattoo artist Jeremy Barber, who did a really fantastic job. I cannot say enough about the professionalism, personal care and attention to detail the whole shop showed. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Came in for the Friday the 13th deal festivities...great experience. Clean shop with awesome people. Lots of designs to choose from for the 13th deal, and this panther was only $50. They had a bunch of $20, $50 and $100 options. Gordon did an awesome job. I'll definitely be back for the next one and for my next appointment.

For the longest time I’ve been trying to find someone that does amazing intricate Japanese styled art, and I finally stumbled upon her when I found her on Instagram. She’s so good at taking your dream art and turning it into real life original designs. My favorite tattoos are the ones done by her. Guy was in a hurry and complained of being tired and having to much responsibility but still did good line work for a basic tatoo. Customers service wasn't great. Promised a detailed sketch to be emailed of an arm piece and did not deliver. Did not do arm piece with this guy that bragged of 20 years of tatoos due to his lack of interest in spending time to design the piece and listen to desired effect.

I wanted a really nice tattoo... I saw a lot of my friends and they usually get ok work but nothing amazing... some even look like jail house tattoos... i didn't want anything like that... I wanted something to be proud of... I met Mike a few years before I commited to him doing my piece... I went to A LOT of shops and didn't like anyones work as much as his... he has a very unique style and he's very knowledgable about his art... which I felt was really nice... he won't let you get something if he doesn't think it's right... a lot of people get a lot of stupid tattoos and he wants his to be as authentic as possible... mine is so authentic I won first place at the Denver Tattoo Convention for the Asian category... I've also have had many compliments from other Asian tattoo artists... so that makes me very proud to have his art work... they may be a little rough around the edges but artists should be... they should be themselves... if you want a good quality piece you can be proud of I really recommend these guys!
