Mr Gene Scott is one badass artist! You wanna be impressed and sit under someone with a light hand come here! Killer vibe very down to earth and beyond TALENTED. I’m currently getting a headdress and skull on my forearm but Mr. Scott out did himself when he put my dad’s signature on and it looks so amazing. I’ll get to look at that forever and be grateful 😇 This guy is my forever pick, let him be yours too!

Friendly staff, wonderful work and experience. Clean safe environment. And a shout out for the David Lynch quote print at the front door. "Fix your hearts or 💀." Awesome atmosphere. Gene also had to match previous work I had because the artist had moved away and he did it perfectly lettering and style and all. Very easy handed, very clean, and they made absolute sure the tattoos would come out perfect. Free handed some details on my husband and made the tattoo that much better. Highly recommend and will be returning to get some original work as well ❤️❤️ not to mention the tattoo goody bags after plus complimentary snacks and drinks. Made us feel very welcomed and in good hands.

My husband and I came in yesterday (8/14/22) for matching tattoos for our anniversary. This is the nicest, cleanest tattoo shop I’ve ever been in. All of the staff was friendly and welcoming. Most of the tattoo shops I’ve been to are unfriendly and kind of snobby. This place was great! Jesse did our tattoos and was fantastic. Our tattoos look awesome and he was very friendly and had a good sense of humor. The woman there, (not sure of her name) was also great. She offered us snacks and drinks. She also gave good advice on where to put our tattoos and other decisions. Everybody was GREAT! We will be back!!!

This was my first tattoo and I gave my idea to Eric and he drew it up and it was exactly Plus more than what I was wanting and expecting. Than the time came to start and Eric did an amazing job and made me feel so comfortable while I was getting it. I couldn’t be more happy with how it came out and will recommend this place to anyone and specially to have Eric do it!

literally the best tattoo experience anybody i’ve known has had. gene is the coolest guy, an amazing artist and super professional. we were walk ins from out of town around midnight. when i tell you this blew us out of the water i mean it. my best friend’s entire mood turned around after we left and we talked about how impressed we were with the experience and the work the entire way home. we live in houston but i’m seriously considering just flying out to columbus every time i want to get a tattoo. i cant say enough good things!! very reasonable pricing, REALLY helped my friend with placement/layout, worked fast but not sloppy, cleanest lines, fantastic vibe. AMAZING!!!

I got a tattoo from Gene and he was awesome! He was very professional and wanted to make sure I was happy with the placement. We adjusted the stencil a couple of times. I didn’t feel rushed or pressured in anyway. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on my tattoo. The rest of the staff was super supportive checking to see if I needed anything. I will definitely go back and I’ve already recommended them to several people. Top notch!!!

My wife and I made same day appointments for tattoos. Staff was simply AMAZING. Very friendly and attentive to each and every customer in their shop. Eric, who did our tattoos, has 30+ years of experience and it truly shows! I would 100% recommend Burned Hearts to anyone. The atmosphere of the shop is wonderful as well you will feel right at home when you go in. He is a very professional laid back easy going guy but there is also a directness about him when it come to answering questions that I appreciate most especially since it’s something you will have for the rest of your life. Around 4 months ago, I was lucky enough to come onboard as the new shop manager. I wasn't sure what to expect and had concerns similar to what any new client may have; Are the staff and the artists knowledgeable and professional? Will they work with me on scheduling? Will it be fun and inviting or cold and clinical feeling? Is the shop kept clean? Tattoo "& Art Company", what do they mean? the list goes on... Well, 4 months on and I have to say that Burned Hearts Tattoo & Art Company has not disappointed! Alltogether the artists and apprentice, (Gene, Jesse, Smitty and Drew) hold a treasure trove of excellent tattoo knowledge and advice gleaned over almost 60 years of tattoo experience! Di our owner is kind and flexible when it comes to scheduling, be it with clients or staff and her positive, uplifting and energetic attitude is infectious! (In a good way, not like covid.) All staff are friendly, welcoming and respectful to clients/client guests and family members, without being stiff or no fun. They also do a good job reminding clients Burned Hearts is there for them throughout the tattoo process, including during healing and touch - up phases as needed. Burned Hearts staff also strives to ensure a clean and comfortable atmosphere and do a great job of being clean and health conscious, following proper procedure everyday to ensure each client's health and safety are a priority. I was surprised to find that the "& Art Company" bit meant that its not just tattoos available at Burned Hearts, But other forms of art also. Sure, Burned Hearts has a sweet selection of curated jewelry, cool stickers and the obligatory shop merch including T-shirts, hoodies and bags, But guests are also able to browse unique pieces of art created by our growing community of local artist partners including, but not limited to; fine art prints, photo prints, custom miniatures models (By yours truly..) and more! In short, it's a blast! To call getting a tattoo, working here or even just coming with a friend as moral support "fun", would be a severe understatement. I got tattooed by gene and let me say, this is not a tattoo, it is a work of art that I will proudly display until my dying day. I came to gene with a concept, a half wolf, half rose. It is a father/ daughter tattoo. Not only did he design the entire tattoo, he was extremely professional, took the time to make sure I was completely satisfied, and even let my daughter pick out the colors for her side. I am absolutely blown away by the quality, professionalism, time, and attention to detail. Will definitely return again and again.

I have to say I'm a little biased because I work there, but the place is clean and comfortable. With a slightly upscale vibe to it. The layout is wide open, nobody will feel crowded. There's both a tv and Alexa to help distract customers from the discomfort of the needle and plenty of colorful personalities to keep the place alive. Good artists and a very professional experience overall!
