I would give Painted Moth Tattoo more stars if I could! Chelsea is not only a very talented artist, she owns and operates a great shop. It's very clean and has a cool vibe. Chelsea is patient, upbeat, and very helpful with questions and guidance. Customer satisfaction is important to her, so she does a great job of getting to know you and understanding what you want. I highly recommend and I will definitely be returning!

I absolutely love everything about my tattoo. Chelsea is an incredible artist. This was my first time in the shop and I felt right at home. The ladies were incredibly welcoming and easy to talk to. Spending 4 hours with strangers can be kinda awkward but this wasn't that way at all. I also bought and had a new nose ring installed. I didn't have an apt for that but they graciously got me in as soon as my tattoo was finished. After one tattoo, Chelsea is about the only artist I'll go to. I've already scheduled my next 3 with her and I couldn't be more excited. She's fun as a person, incredibly talented, the vibe at the shop was top notch! Definitely go see them for your tattoo and piercing needs!

She is a spectacular artist, and she was able to take the general idea of what I wanted and transform it into a beautiful piece of artwork customized perfectly to the shape of my leg. My boyfriend and I got tattooed by Chelsea and we absolutely loved the job she did! Our tattoos were very spontaneous and she was able to fit us in for some small pieces. I had an amazing experience not only did I get a helix and double love that was very comfortable but the fixed some old piercings that were causing discomfort because they were pierced wrong. The piercer is hilarious and so sweet she made it amazing experience and I'm definitely coming back for more

Chelsea has been working on my back piece for quite a long time now. Over 20 hours of work so far. She is phenomenal. A lot of tattoo artist seem to act a little condescending and better than other people, but Chelsea never does. I’ve felt completely relaxed from the first time she did any work on me. Now it’s like visiting an old friend when I see her. She’s not just one of the friendliest tattoo artists I’ve ever met, she is one of the friendliest people...period. If you are looking to get a tattoo, stop by the Painted Moth to talk to Chelsea and look at some of her work. You won’t be disappointed.

She let me come in while she was on her lunch break and when I told her I could come back she assured me it was fine that I stay, we went over many different fonts until I was fully satisfied. I've been going to Chelsea, the shop owner for years, her artwork only gets better and better. I've gotten roughly 20+ tattoos from her, tell me to pick my favorite and I couldn't choose because each piece is fun and unique. The shop is one you don't feel weird going inside, or spending extra time. The atmosphere is great, all of the artists are personable and fun to get to know. They also take time to listen to your ideas to make sure your artwork is what you want. Bill is a very talented piercer, he has steady hands and does fast work, he completed my corset piercing quickly and efficiently with more patience than any other piercer I had previously worked with. All pieces that come out of the Moth are amazing. Definitely a shop worth taking a look at
