After reading so many great reviews for this tattoo parlor I expected better. I'm quite disappointed. Bill did a wonderful job on the flower on my ankle. But within a week I had an infection. I notified them immediately (after I went to the doctor's of course). It's been four days and I still haven't heard from them! They tout themselves as a family business - you even have to pay extra to use a credit card for that reason. Well, if it was a family business they would have contacted me by now! Not going back. Update: Bill called me and assured me that I had a reaction to one of the pigments he used. Once it heals he will make it right. Looking forward to a renewed flower tattoo.

Great long-standing tattoo parlour with a group of amazing artists. Classic atmosphere and it was nice to hear the sound of classic coil machines in a world of rotarys! Bald Bill has been doing tatts for years and is highly recommended if you can book him, but if not, the work being done on others in the shop were amazing as well.

I got my septum pierced here and it was a great experience! I would definitely recommend Yankee to anyone for piercings. The piercer explain everything super thoroughly to me and was very precise when placing the piercing, making sure that I could flip it up if needed. He definitely knew what he was talking about!

this place was AMAZING. put me in short-notice (there was a cancellation), the piercer was super professional and hilarious and kind. i forgot their name (Nick i believe, really 10/10) but they were super sweet and described the process to me so i felt like i was in good hands. i was! their piercing job was amazing, quick, and straight. if you have any questions about this place, let me put them at ease - they’re amazing. and the front desk person is literally the cutest person in the world :P

Let me start out by say Nick is AMAZING. My friend and I had appointments to get our nipples pierced, and our appointment ended up being with Nick. He was both incredibly professional and laid back. All around enjoyable guy. My friend and I were both very nervous about getting the piercings, but with 13 years of experience under his belt, Nick was able to calm our nerves with ease. He talked us through everything, answered any questions we had, and performed the piercings so fast we barely knew it happened. Both he and his work station were very clean and well organized. It was by far the best piercing experience I had ever had, and I've had a lot!

I've had 3 ink pieces done in this parlor over the past 10 years by Jason Tooth. Clean facility and attentive staff made my experiences here enjoyable. Haven't gotten any piercing done myself, but brought a friend to have her upper lip frenulum done and she said it went awesome. I'm sure they get tired of tatting and piercing all the newbie college kids in town, but they still do it with professionalism and attention to detail. Definitely reputable and well known in the industry (BILL). My opinion, best shop in town.

Balled Bill did my Devil girl tattoo in 2 hours and did a great job. Very professional and can schedule easy. My go to place to get new ink. Anyone that wants a tattoo go there. Just got second tattoo at yankee tattoo, and again Bill great. Had my new pisces zodiac/yin-yang tattoo done head of projected time. He is the master.😎 Gave $50 tip to show appreciation. Thanks Bill👍 Just before covid-19 hit hard,I had Balled Bill do this witch (W.I.P.). Love it.😁 Has an LNA I got this tattoo to reward myself for getting my LNA licence.

I got a double helix piercing on my left ear and a third lobe piercing on each ear by Nick. Staff is extremely friendly and informative. Nick is a great piercer, able to give easy information quickly as well as additional information through a pamphlet to take home. The process of piercing was simple as well, with Nick telling when to inhale and exhale. The price was also reasonable too! $70 for double helix and $30 for the two lobes totalling to $100. I'll be returning in the future when I decide to get an industrial piercing as well as tattoos. Thank you for the great service!

This place is amazing!!!!!! First off, Nick who does piercing is a top notch professional. He gives great description and options. He is really kind. And his work was amazing. I recommend going to him. He is there most weekdays. Then I went to Eric for a tattoo. He does amazing work. He really does a lot of research and asks a lot of questions of what you want. He takes great pride in his work. I'm so pleased with my tattoo. And he still has more to finish up. Can't wait!!!!

I saw Nick today to get an industrial piercing in my ear. He was amazing. Very informative, calm and collect d and great energy. Been pierced a few times and this one barely hurt. I was thoroughly impressed all around. Great experience! I highly recommend Nick for any of your piercing needs.

Absolutely outstanding! I got a daith piercing, and was pretty nervous. Nick, with over 10 years experience, explained everything in depth of what exactly to expect, and how to treat it. He completely built up my confidence and it went really smoothly. He also did One of my lobes that was not pierced, and made sure that it was completely symmetrical with the piercing in my other lobe. Highly recommend Yankee Tattoo!! Thank you so much Nick!!

This is a piece (not quite done) by Jim. It started as a cover up and to my own fault I hadn't gone back for 4 years after he did my initial outline. We started in on the color yesterday and after 4 years Jim remembered who I am and the outline before seeing it again. The crew there is friendly, comfortable to be around and incredibly talented. In the hours I spent there just for this I have seen many first tattoos and the artists do a great job making everyone feel comfortable. The top of this picture is where my cover up is. It was a dark, ugly tattoo I was embarrassed about. After being with Jim a few times and his ideas based around my interests, he showed me this drawing and it was a go. I'm very excited to finally finish it and would tell anyone to go there with confidence. I had a piercing changed out there as well and again same level of service. I would check out their Facebook page to see the different artists styles but know that no one would disappoint.

Such a great tattoo shop! The staff was able to squeeze in my partner and I on the weekend and we're so appreciative that they did. Bill and Eric did such great work - Eric did a really detailed tattoo for me that I am so happy with. Bill was such a kind soul and worked hard to make sure my partner could get his tattoo, he even stayed late for us. Bill has so many great stories and it was a joy talking to him. Bill even helped recommend places for dinner since he could tell we were both getting hungry and didn't know the area. I would 100% go back here for a tattoo anytime I'm in Vermont. :)

My mom travels from Philadelphia just for Bill, the owner, who specializes in nautical tattoos. All the artists are super talented and skilled beyond the classic Americana tattoos they are known for.

Got my first tattoo done here with Bald Bill. He was incredibly easy to work with, and obviously knows his stuff. Total master of tattooing (hes been doing it for over 35 years). Gave me a fair price that was less than the hourly rate would've caused me to pay, since it took much longer than he expected. Very friendly environment the entire time, from drawing consultation to the final results. I recommend this shop to anyone in the Burlington area, Bald Bill is a hidden talent up here in Vermont. Very clean, set up my machine right in front of me, and took care the entire time. I will most certainly be back for more work in the future. Go here!
