Angie was my tattoo artist and she was so amazing! I have a few tattoos that I got from a different shop, but this was my first time getting tatted at Holistic Ink, and it was also my first very meaningful one, and she made it a great experience. She made sure I was comfortable, asked what music I wanted to listen to, was super sweet/had great vibes and just did a great job in general. My other tattoos were pretty painful but she somehow made this tattoo have basically no pain and it was super quick. It’s also healing perfectly, so everything about her work was just perfect!<3 I’ve also gotten my nose pierced here before which was a great experience as well. Soo if you’re looking to get a piercing or tattoo this is def the place you wanna go

The staff here are super friendly and overall great. I went with Billy (@billy.hollistic) for my tattoo as his style is what I was looking for. One of the nicest people you could ever work with. Went here with my spouse and three adult children for a family tattoo(a first for 4 of the 5 of us.) It was a fabulous experience from start to finish. From Nancy patiently answering questions and scheduling as we worked out designs via text to Angie working with us on arrival to re-design for each of us (and accommodating some last-minute adjustments.) Angie was supportive and professional and we each left with a slightly different variation on a design that we are very happy with. Highly recommend this shop and the work that these women do!

I've been getting tattooed and pierced since the early/mid 80s. I have brought my daughter to get her nostril, septum and belly button pierced. This place, Fiona, is the BEST. We wont go to ANYONE else. Fiona is amazing. Seriously. We are going to start planning ears, piercings for beauty and for migraines. I'm hoping to start some tattoo plans here and will review tattoo artists as soon as I can! We LOVE Holistic Ink. Phenomenal shop, Fiona is the best piercer.

I usually come to this shop for piercings from the great Fiona, but always see the great quality tattoo work, so I finally decided to book a tattoo appointment. Setting up my appt with Nancy was so easy. She is very friendly, patient and thorough. She helped me think through my idea and was very transparent from the start. When I came in for my appointment two weeks later, I was surprised that she immediately remembered me. My tattoo artist was Angie and she is absolutely STELLAR. Angie is also very thorough and an honest and relaxing presence. She gave me so much information, talked with me through everything and answered everything confidently. I was amazed at how detailed and quickly she tattoos. Sis is good good!! I highly recommend getting a tattoo from her, will be telling my friends about her work and will absolutely be setting up my next appointment with her soon. Her drawings were beautiful and she listened really well to what I wanted and was able to provide lots of expert info so that I could make a decision on a tattoo that would look good for a long time (especially when it came to placement). She had fair pricing and was open to discussing it on a personal level, too. I would definitely recommend Holistic Ink and Tiana, both were perfect for my first tattoo experience!

Fiona did a stacked piercing on me, which came out great. The atmosphere and staff were nice and the shop itself is clean. The prices are definitely more on the pricy side, which may be something to consider. Overall, the place is reputable and cool bc there are walk-ins only for piercings (Wed-Sat 12-6:45 pm)

When Holistic Ink opened up near my house, I decided to stop in one day to introduce myself and meet the staff. Vinny and Bill are both awesome guys and super friendly, and Vinny has a *killer* sense of humor. I immediately felt at ease. It had been 15-years since my last tattoo, and I knew that I wanted to go big for the next one: a full sleeve. But first - I had to check out Vinny's work and also see if we clicked personality-wise. I checked out his portfolio and liked what I saw, so I asked him to update an old tattoo of mine, and I LOVED what he did. On top of that, I felt completely at ease in his chair and we laughed a lot, so I knew our personalities would work well together. After the initial small tattoo, we talked over the course of a few weeks about what I wanted in my sleeve, the ideas and images I wanted incorporated, but leaving him the artistic license to figure out how it would all come together. The end result is ABOVE AND BEYOND anything I ever could have envisioned on my own. Vinny is a true artist - what he has done blows my mind every time I look at it. I could not be happier. Based on my very positive experience with the sleeve, I've continued seeing Vinny for new pieces over the course of a year. These smaller pieces include a bird, a tugboat, and a killer adding machine (don't ask). The more work he does on me, the more and more my mind is blown. Vinny is an artist, there is no other word for what he does. I have found that my favorite pieces are the ones that he does in the style of realism. They are also the ones where I gave him a general idea of what I wanted, but then let him run wild in terms of art direction. If you are in the Boston-area and looking for a tattoo artist, do yourself a favor and connect with Vinny. I cannot say enough good things about him and Holistic Ink.

My friend and I went in as walk ins to get our noses pierced and it was such a fun experience. Fiona was great! She let the two of us in the room together and was very knowledgeable in answering our questions and giving us information. She also explained why she was doing things. The initial piercing hurt, but the changing of the jewelry was so swift and smoothly done. I love how they Holistic Ink has a texting line where they send you post care instructions and a way to ask questions if you have any.

I searched a long time for an artist to do my fine line tattoos and finally found Billy. He has done all of my 6 tattoos and I couldn't be happier. Most phenomenal artists I have met!! Vinny is the artist I chose for my tattoo, and he did more than amazing with incredible detail, precise artwork and was VERY CLEAN with my half sleeve!!! This place had a good vibe and usually responded well to my texts. When I actually got the tattoo the guy was responsive and chill, and did a good job on the tattoo. I’m very happy with it. The complaint I’ve got and why it isn’t five stars is my tattoo is an extremely simple stick figure tattoo and the feet of my bird has ink bleeding or blotting outside of the lines. The rest looks great, but it’s like cmon man we just had a line to stick to—gotta work on the line work a little bit. Rest of the tattoo is great, thanks for the work.

I had two sessions with Vinny and let me tell you well worth the wait to get an appointment with him. I brought a sleeve idea to him and it came out so much better than I even imagined! They gave me a really precise and solid tattoo. Super quick appointment. They charged $200 for a small tattoo - literally a rainbow line on my arm. Seems a little overpriced for a 30 minute session. Besides that, tattoo came out great.

Found Billy just from searching online and I loved his artwork. I was able to schedule a consultation and tell him the idea I had for my tattoo and about a month or so later I came in for it. The process was super easy and I'm definitely going there again for my next one! I did notice they offer piercings as well. For a consultation, you should call ahead versus just showing up.

Honestly ive been to many tattoo shops but this one wins! Fiona helped me change my piercings and she was absolutely the best piercer ive ever encountered. While i was waiting I could tell i was in good hands because i saw how she dealt with her clients. she was super patient and able to answer various questions with confidence and ease. When it was my turn she took her time finding out what size was right for my septum. I was also asking her questions about piercing i might want. she answered all my questions honestly and she doesnt just do things to get paid. she told me the pros and cons of each piercing. I have never experienced a piercer who let me know about what type of metal i was getting . I spent countless weeks and even months looking for the perfect tattoo shop to create the exact tattoo that I had envisioned. The artist Seven did exactly this. I’m only one session through with a half sleeve, but the detail is impeccable. The shop is clean and very professional from upfront at the desk to the artists who work so diligently in the back. I had semi permanent eyeliner done by Lily and she is amazing! I did a lot of research before I chose her because obviously it's important when it's on your face especially. She listens and makes it very comfortable I barely felt a thing I was honestly shaking nervous but with the numbing cream it only tickled honestly! If the pains holding you back don't worry about that at all. She does a very beautiful job I'm going back for my brows soon and very excited! I went back for my brows and they came out so good this was a while back now and they're still really good I love her she's very talented I did so much research before picking someone to permanently tattoo makeup onto my face like anyone would and I do not regret it for a minute she's awesome I always recommend her when people compliment which they do and they never know that it's a tattoo until I tell them!

I knew I wanted to get a tattoo done for months. As I was on my search for tattoo shops and found Holistic Ink, I was amazed by the work of the artists. I further looked into Jamie’s artwork to see if it would fit the style of my tattoo and some of his work drew me in! He was very professional, gentle, and funny while doing my tattoo ! The people here are very friendly. They take the time to talk and help you in choosing/designing a tattoo which i think is cool. I had James work on my tattoo and he was a really cool and a very skillful artist. I Definitely recommend him when you come to the shop but it doesn’t mean you can’t get tatted by the other professional artists there as well. I only hear great things about this place and now that I went there myself I can say I definitely recommend this place for sure 💯.

Helpful and patient with our decision making, and then went above and beyond to make us comfortable (including music choice!). We loved James and Mimi. We will go back! I scheduled 3 delicate tattoos with Tombi @ Holistic Ink and went in yesterday for the work. Nancy was really helpful and friendly with getting me set up and introducing me to Tombi. Tombi is here from Saigon, Vietnam — while we had a language barrier, he was warm and patient as we figured out placing/sizing for all 3 tattoos. He took his time and really wanted to make sure I was happy with placement and completely comfortable as he got started. Nancy checked in with each tattoo in case either of us needed translation help— but we didn’t need it! I could tell Tombi was very experienced and I trusted his vision right off the bat. Needless to say— each tattoo came out PERFECT! I noticed that Bi had bigger pieces showcased on his instagram— so at the end I pointed to a big floral piece and gestured that I wanted him to do a large-scale piece on my hip at a later date. What’s a nice group of people that work here. Jamie, the gentleman who did my earlobes and nose was a very kind and funny guy. He walked me through the process of poking 5 holes in my face very kindly, and cracked jokes to ease my anxiety at the same time. Too bad I forgot about all his kindness when he shoved a needle through my nose. He did warn me it would hurt, but it really REALLY hurt. Tears rolled out of both of my eyes. But the pain was worth it. The piercings look lovely, he did a great job picking out the spots. As for all the other lovely employees, they are also very amicable and easy to talk to. The atmosphere in this shop is lovely, and the work is worth every penny. I absolutely recommend.

I have a high pain tolerance, but also high anxiety 😂 I’ve wanted my nose pierced for so long and finally after psyching myself out about it for too long, went into holistic ink with my friend. Ive had a full sleeve done by owner and some laser tattoo removal sessions. The quality of their work is exceptional and the staff is extremely knowledgeable aswell amazing Artists. The owner Vinny is by far the best artist I've had the pleasure of working with. He's my tattoo artist for life now. Wish I found this place long before I had any other ink done, because you can tell how much better his work is next to my other tattoos. But they now are doing tatto removal so Vinny also started sessions to remove an old tattoo instead of trying a cover up, which has limitations on what you can tattoo over. But very very pleased with all the services that I've had done at Hollistic ink. I am a happy customer for life. Thank you Hollistic ink.

I had walked into this shop with a design in mind but no predispositions about the shop itself or any of the artists in it (i’m from out of state). The first artist i showed my idea to referred me to another artist in the shop (Dhalia) that had the proper needles in stock to be able to do it for me. This was awesome because sometimes even if the artists don’t have the proper tools, they’ll still “do their best with what they have” in place of making sure the client gets the tattoo properly how they want it. Dhalia took one look at my design, kept the photo for reference, offered me a few suggestions, and then pointed us in the direction of a coffee shop down the road to hang out at while she drew up a design. When we got back i was blown away by how spot on her design was. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!! Quite possibly one of my favorite tattoos and just an overall great tattoo experience. I’m now wishing that this shop was in my hometown, but if i’m ever in Boston again I will be returning to Hollistic ink!!!

I went to Vinny the same day I called for a consultation (literally the minute after I got off the phone). I showed him a few photos of my dog and I told him the one I really loved. He was able to set up an appointment within the week. Once I got there he quickly set up my photo and told me his idea of setting up a contrast between an anime styled face next to my realistic dog. Once he finished the linework (while rubbing in cocoa butter), he sprayed numbing spray before tattooing the white linework. Definitely helped with the pain! The tattoo was done within two hours. To ensure I was comfortable, Vinny had a pillow and set up Netflix to give me something to do. Definitely hope to be back soon!
