Dr. Lamperti was compassionate, gentle (I have a very low pain tolerance but didn’t need all the prescribed pain medication, a first for me) and exceeded my expectations in all respects. I am very happy with my results. Thank you!

Thanks for all the feedback as I’m seriously looking into doing this (I had a deviated septum fixed years ago) & it was very painful, turned out great with no more snoring or breathing issues.. but I really wish I had -had the entire nose job done! In liked hearing everyone’s story posted.
I hope to have both lips & nose done and knowing that care credit can be used it awesome as my car is just about paid off!!
This is really good news plus I’m saving up fir it.
Does anyone know if they put an age limit on this?
Thanks so much!!

Dr. Lamperti is one of the nicest and most professional Dr's I've ever seen, I'm serious. He is respectful, and actually listens and takes your wishes and opinions into a high regard. He is an incredibly skilled surgeon, but has the ability to explain things in layman's terms without making you feel like an idiot. He has a good sense of humor, and is enjoyable to talk to. I knew I was in the right hands from the moment he stepped into the room.
I had suffered a traumatic injury to my face 7 years ago, and 6 years ago I had a nose job to correct a few issues that came from that, medical and cosmetic. Well....he didn't do a very great job, and I was incredibly dissatisfied and depressed with my appearance from that point on. Also the functionality of my nose was beginning to deteriorate. My septum had collapsed almost entirely into my left nostril. My nose was painful as well as unsightly.I decided it was finally time to act on things (actually...well overdue. haha)
Dr. Lamperti was incredibly professional regarding the state of my nose, and never spoke ill of my previous doctor. He confirmed that my concerns were legitimate, when past doctors I had consulted with made me feel like I was being nit-picky.
Seeing that revision rhinoplasties are far more complicated, and the fact that I had been seriously disappointed by my last procedure, I was pretty nervous.
The bandages came off over a week ago, and all I could do was sob when I looked in the mirror. For the first time in 6 years, I saw my "old" face... even with all the bruising and swelling going on, it was there. As things are healing, it looks like a different nose every day, haha. But I was prepared for that, and the general shape is just so much better. I can't wait for everything to calm down so I can see the final version.
All of his positive reviews are very well deserved (and I totally did my research on doctors for my procedure). If I ever have any other plastic surgery issues in which he provides, I will without a doubt turn to him. I will continue to recommend him highly to people.

There aren't many reviews for Dr. Lamperti here because a lot of patients are probably shy, but I am really proud of the results and not too embarrassed to share my rhinoplasty experience...
What sets Dr. Lamperti apart from other surgeons is that he was the most attentive and "present" during the consultation. I met with many rhinoplasty specialists and general plastic surgeons during my research, and Dr. Lamperti was the only surgeon who actually spent the full allotted time (60 minutes) of the consultation with me. He took the "before" images of my face himself, and created the "after" images so we could discuss and agree on my post-op look. He fully explained the surgical process and planned his approach for the most controlled and precise results. For my nose, that meant an "open" rhinoplasty surgery. Most of all, he was truly and sincerely a kind person. This was a rare quality to find among the surgeons I met with in Portland and Seattle!
Consultations with other surgeons were far more disappointing: I was rushed through one consultation in under 15 minutes, I was up-sold on a chin implant by another surgeon for an extra $3,000, I watched one administrative assistant create the "after" photos and guess at my surgical outcome, I discussed anesthesia options and the surgical process with another surgeon's non-board certified assistant or RN (credentials were never disclosed) because he was double-booked with another patient, and I was dismissed by yet another surgeon when I expressed concerns about his recommendation to only wait 2 weeks post-op to begin high-impact exercise training for a half marathon.
Obviously, I chose Dr. Lamperti.
On the day of surgery, everyone on Dr. Lamperti's team was very warm and friendly, which put me at ease. I had clear expectations of my post-op recovery and clear instructions of what to do and what to avoid for the first 4 weeks. Plus, staff from the surgical center and Dr. Lamperti himself called to check on me after the surgery was over! It was nice knowing that I was not just another patient in a revolving door - the whole team actually cared about how I was feeling post-op.
I'm currently 6 weeks into my recovery, and even though the swelling has not fully resolved, I'm ridiculously happy with the results. After 34 years of living with my old nose, I never thought I would look in the mirror and feel proud of my reflection. I'm happy to say that my new nose has the profile and front views that I expected from the "after" photos that Dr. Lamperti created. Plus, my new nose still fits with the rest of my facial features so I don't look like a completely different person. I am very pleased with the entire experience and feel that it was well worth the time and money that I invested. I would highly recommend Dr. Lamperti to anyone who is looking for a skilled rhinoplasty surgeon in the Pacific Northwest area!

Dr. Lamperti and his very friendly and professional staff exceeded my expectations. He disgnosed me with a deviated septum, a simple diagnosis, but one two previous doctors overlooked. In the end, he performed 6 "mini" surgeries to address apnea and snoring, including a gliding genioplasty with a 10mm extension, turbinate reduction, a removing part of my upper palate. My recovery was quick, my pain was low and as expected, and the results are wonderful. I could not be happier and I would recommend Dr. Lamperti to anyone. He is an artist, with meticulous attention to detail and a strong sense of what a patient wants.

I am one year post op & I am so grateful for the outcome. I did a lot of time searching for doctor's and reading reviews. I am so glad I chose him for my doctor. Recovery and surgery went really well. The outcome is better than I expected. The cost was average price and every visit I had less then a 10 minute wait.

While I agree that Dr Lamperti was very thorough and professional the amount of money he charges for post-op appointments was huge - when most doctors include that in the cost of the surgery. I cannot recommend him because of amount of money he charges!!!

I had a rhinoplasty done by Dr. Lamperti almost 5 years ago and couldn't be happier with the results.

PHENOMENAL
I have detailed my cosmetic journey on REALSELF, so this will be short.
After visiting 3 other doctor consults, I just felt completely confident and at ease that my money would be well spent on surgery that would give me the results that I was looking for.
In one day, I had the following procedures:
* Open Rhino
* Chin Implant
* Radiesse fillers for jaw
* Restylane fillers for under eyes
Total spent: $15,000+
Used Care Credit to pay for it. My monthly payment is LESS THAN A CAR PAYMENT! SO worth it! Should have done this years ago!
While my experience is not the same for everyone out there, and individual results may vary, this was my post-op experience:
Friday - Surgery on Tylenol and Fioricet for pain, slept for hours!
Saturday - Tylenol for pain (about a 3 on a scale 1-10) up, moving around.
Sunday - Tylenol for pain, no prescription meds necessary (about a 2), took a stroll in the park for fresh air (though I could only breathe thru mouth). Went to movie theater that night.
My face was swollen, but there was no bruising or burst blood vessels. I wasn't black and blue--none of that happened.
Honestly, the BIGGEST SHOCK/PANIC MOMENT was the instant that I woke up from surgery. The last thing I remember was being pampered in the operating room right before surgery. The next thing I knew, I was lethargic, weak, disoriented and realizing that I was bandaged up and could not breathe through my nose (obviously).
The nurses were EXCEEDINGLY kind, helpful, patient and calming. I remember thinking, well, What's done is done, I can only heal from this. Dr. Lamperti called me later after surgery and the next day to check in on me. The level of care was awesome.
At no point was I sad, mad, scared, suicidal, angry, or whatever. I wasn't regretful or disappointed. I didn't cry or weep or sulk. I was just thrilled that it was over and the healing process could begin.
If you choose a rhinoplasty, be aware of the healing process. Consider that you will deal with stiffness, numbness, sensitivity, swelling...
It's probably the biggest change you can make on your face that has relative delayed satisfaction. By that, I mean, you cannot expect the level of beauty immediately after surgery. Exercise common sense. It takes time for all the swelling and numbness to go away.
Within 2-3 weeks after, you will see/experience significant reduction of swelling. The pain (for me anyway), was gone after a week. And I was only using Tylenol except for day 1, which was Fioricet. The pain, despite all my procedures, was MINIMAL. Discomfort was more annoying.
ONE FINAL THING: LOCATION
Don't be lured in by FANCY office locations or by doctors with 20 personal assistants. Dr. Lamperti's office is in a medical highrise (with lots of other plastic surgeons throughout the building). His office feels more "medical" than it does a lavish lawyer's office. DON'T LET THAT SCARE YOU AWAY! SHEEEEESH!!!!
I couldn't care less that he's not on the 100th floor. I don't care that he doesn't have an army of personal assistants.
What I CARE about is his training, certification, experience and quality of work. That's all that matters. I've been on RealSelf and seen horror shows, sadly, done by other doctors who spend more time worrying about the image of their office than the quality of their craft.
Go with quality. Go with your gut. And at the very least, get a consultation with Dr. Lamperti.
