The staff at Sono Bello are so friendly and efficient. I am using Venus to tighten the skin on my legs after liposuction. It is working! Megan administers my laser treatments weekly and she is an expert-can answer all my questions and it’s fun to spend 30 mins with her each week. The treatment feels like a hot stone massage. I highly recommend this office and Venus with Megan.

Everyone at the Edina location has been exceptional! I'm just about 2 weeks post-procedure and after the initial swelling and bruising dissipates, I am sure I will be very happy with my results! Dr. Volk was extremely thorough and meticulous, which I very much appreciated. I was nervous to not have anesthesia, but the procedure was not painful and I even drifted off a couple times as I was being sutured up. My pre-op nurse Kiera was excellent, as was Dr. Volk, the post op nurse Alyssa and everyone else (sorry if I'm forgetting anyone)! I've had a few post op questions and Alyssa has gotten back to me quickly each time I called with a question. I would definitely recommend Sono Bello to family and friends!

They went above and beyond to get me in for surgery but towards my 6 months post op visit, I was unhappy with my results. Sure Dr.Volk was able to take the max amount of fat off , but the post op care wasn't as great. I was told to do massages but not told how often, and how would I know if I was doing it correctly ? I wasn't even asked about my concerns but only to be told I gained 10lbs and suggested I look into their newest program they offered called Venus legacy. I have uneven parts of my stomach, it is not flat and the post op care was not that great . I'm unhappy and should have went elsewhere or done more research.

My experience with Sono Bello was a combination of good and bad but with a final outcome that leaves me happy, satisfied and thinking it was well worth it. How is that you ask? Well, when I went for my initial consult the staff were very friendly and helpful and treated me great - as they did every time I was there. During my procedure I didn't really feel a thing - the first time anyway. I had to go back to have a second one done because I wasn't satisfied with the result and they really are wonderful about making sure you're happy with the end results. But the second time, I don't know if it was because I knew what was gonna happen, scar tissue or what, but I felt everything the doctor did and I mean EVERYTHING! Even the little incision he made, I felt it. I was wide awake through the whole thing and it was very very painful. I kept thinking to myself, "omg I was so out of it the first time that I didn't remember much of anything, and this time I feel like I'm not gonna make it" - I wanted to make him stop but I toughed it out and got through it. Now I'm very happy with the end result. I just wished they would've knocked me out or given me another pill to relax me more. So there you have it - both a good and somewhat poor experience. I would recommend them though but if I could've I'd have taken something ahead of time to relax myself even though they say not to or they won't do your procedure. Good luck to anyone considering Sono Bello. You will be just fine and look mighty fine too.

Sono Bello was a wonderful experience for me! The staff is extremely nice and knowledgeable. They put me at ease and answered all my questions. The nurses and Dr. Hatfield were wonderful during my procedure, explaining exactly what they were doing the whole time. During my week follow up visit the nurse explained to me what to expect in the upcoming months with my body shape and what I should and should not do. I highly recommend Sono Bello as a jump-start on living a better and healthier lifestyle. I admit I was a little nervous when I decided to have body contouring, however, my nerves diminished and I became excited especially after speaking to the staff at Sono Bello. I cannot say enough about how wonderful, professional, caring, funny, and talented the nurses, physicians, and office staff are at Sono Bello in Edina. All of my questions were answered, the follow up emails and phone calls were timely and instructive, and they always treated me as if I were the only client they had. I am three months out, and my results are EXACTLY what they said they’d be, and what I had hoped for. I just love how I look and feel. I will recommend Sono Bello to everyone. If you are on the fence about having the procedure (excision and lipo is what I had) and you want information, go see them. There was no pressure to sign on. I got the information I wanted, talked to my husband, and a couple of weeks later scheduled the procedure. It was worth it. I had the procedure on a Thursday and was back at my full time job on the following Tuesday. I wore a dress to work that day, and got at least six compliments on it. Keep in mind that I had worn that dress a dozen times and never did anyone mention anything. So, it’s not the dress. It’s how the dress looked. I could keep going but you get the point.

Everyone took the time to explain the procedure in depth and answer all my questions. The follow up after the procedure was amazing. The doctor called me that night to see how I was doing. I especially like the follow up emails, explaining where I should be post op and educating me on diet and exercise. It's not a painless procedure, but very manageable if you follow instructions.

I am 4 weeks post op and I am pleased with my results. I had waist, upper and lower abs and excess skin removal. I had 9lbs of fat removed. I am looking very good right now but I should heal for another 2 mos. The most pain came from the excess skin removal post op. Lasted about a week. I was able to go to work 4 days after procedure. I enjoyed all the staff and my surgeon.

When I decided to go ahead with the procedure my surgery was scheduled for less than a week after my consultation. This made me a bit nervous but Chandra assured me that I would see the results immediately- she was right! I cannot express enough positive words of my experience from beginning to end. Everyone at Sono Bello reassured me that I had made the right decision. My surgery went so well (even though I dont remember much of it) Dr. Flagg was awesome! I am 4 weeks post op and have dropped 2 sizes in my compression garment. I was back to my normal routine within days and it gave me the push to be healthier everyday since. If you're thinking about doing this procedure, just do it- you will be so happy that you did!

I had an absolutely amazing experience at Sonobello! Not going to lie, I was a little hesitant and didn’t have the highest expectations for my micro-laser lipo as my stomach has been such a stubborn area and I never thought it would go away! I am now a little over a week out from my surgery and the results are absolutely incredible!!! I’m still swollen and it will take a few more months for me to fully recover but I’d honestly be happy if this were my final result. From having two babies my stomach was large with saggy skin. It’s now tight with no sagging skin and looks absolutely amazing! The whole process from start to finish was amazing and effortless. The nurses are so helpful and kind! My appointments that I had post op I met the General Manager and RN and they were both loving and comforting. & The front desk staff are always on point. Had the EX procedure done to remove fat and excess skin. I can see my stomach muscles again, still taking time for the incision to heal but all is looking good so far. Everyone one is different, but didn't have unreasonable amount of pain during or after. Staff is nice, especially Julie who set me up, and the doctor was precise as how much he could do per each procedure, and wasn't going to do a half job on one, so all could get done at one time.

I'm really pleased I did this procedure (stomach/hips/chin) at Sono Bello. I took Friday through Tuesday off from work for the initial recovery period to promote faster healing. It took 2 weeks to really see a difference. It has encouraged me to eat healthier for best overall results. Now at 4 weeks post op, I have lost 12 pounds so far. My pants fit so much better. I'm no longer trying to disguise rolls of fat or too embarrassed to wear tight fitting shirts. Dr. Volk did my procedures, he is simply the best! If money wasn't an issue, I would go back and have him do my arms and legs too, but guess I'll do it the old fashioned way. My advice is to do exactly what they tell you and when they tell you for the best road to recovery. Wear your compression garments faithfully. Don't wear tight waist bands or belts for at least a month. Invest in yourself and gain back your confidence. I'm so glad I did.

I am currently 33 years old a mother of 4. Daughter 15, Sons 5, 4, & 2-1/2. As a child and early teen I was very active and gymnast. After the birth of my daughter I gained weight and thought about lipo but cost was unrealistic. A year before I had my boys I started losing weight by working out and eating right. After I had my boys I gained most of it back. I went back to working out and eating right and maintained my goal weight but still unhappy with my thighs. My sister mentioned Sono Bello. I looked into for several months before I decided to try the free consultation. I went in thinking of a price range. While talking to the consultant she was very honest with what to expect. The quote was below expected so I went ahead and schedule the surgery for inner/outer thighs and knees. At the pre-op I met the doctor. He also made me feel really comfortable and was honest with what to expect. The day of surgery everything went according to plan and I didn't feel anything during the procedure. They were very helpful during recovery process. I had my surgery done almost 3 weeks ago. There was discomfort but nothing more than expected. I went in on a Friday. By Sunday I was on only Advil and doing normal household chores and back to work on Monday. I currently still have some swelling but the results have been wonderful. I am loving the compliments I have been getting.

As an adult male in his 30s, I was ready to move beyond diet and exercise to minimize my 'spare tire'. Making the initial call was the toughest step. I contacted Sono Bello one month ago and was offered a free consultation the next week. During the meeting, Chandra explained what the center's staff could do for me and clearly outlined the associated cost. I was convinced and requested treatment the following week. Dr. Flagg and his staff were friendly, qualified, and competent. My procedure was over before I realized it. I was home asleep within hours and ready to go back to work just a few days later. Made me feel okay that I wanted this done without judgement. I literally booked that day and surgery within that week. Their customer service/check in’s are amazing. They really care and readily available/call backs/emails etc. Now to my results omg I never thought I could have a flat tummy and I do. I saw an ad for Sono Bella on television and called them. I called and talked to them and set up a appointment. I was totally impressed with the consultation appointment as was my fiancee. He was totally supportive of my decision and has been with me every step of the way. I was never made to feel ashamed or embarrassed about the way I had let my body get so out of shape. Even taking the before pictures ! We set up the surgery appointment and talked to the doctor. I was very impressed with him.Very through with what he would do and how he would do it. Surgery day came and everything went as I was told it would. No complications. We stayed at a hotel that night and the next. I was totally shocked with the calls I received to see how I was doing!! Even calls from dr. giving me his home number if I had any problems. So far my recovery has been by the book. My appointments are great.I am to have my month check-up in a couple of days and I am soooo impressed with the way I feel and look....I have lost over 70 lbs. And went from size 20 women's to a misses 12. Also I have enjoyed the text's telling me how I should be feeling and they hit it on the nose every time!!! I had a Tri-Sculpt EX, upper and lower abs, inner thighs, hips and knees done. I am on a journey to lose 150 pounds and had lost 75 pounds when I had my procedures. It was just the boost that I needed to keep going on my journey of whole life health! Post procedures, I am down 85 pounds and still have quite a bit of swelling in my legs. I now have an hour glass shape and am able to fit into clothes that I haven't been able to wear for over 15 years! Plus, it seems to have kicked off my metabolism which makes it easier to keep working towards my overall weight loss goals. The staff is super helpful and friendly. I loved how they customized the procedures to my overall needs! The weekly emails, calls and tips helped me to navigate all of the symptoms that popped up post procedure, which put me at ease. I would HIGHLY recommend this team for your contouring needs! I would definitely go back, after I lose the rest of my weight, if needed! The only thing that wasn't ideal was the sales process, but I HATE to be sold. I came in having done my homework (and having compared other options), so I knew what I wanted and how much I was willing to invest in this process. Because I have high BMI the price was way higher than what was advertised online. Also, they said my weight was higher and my height was shorter than when I had gone to my MD earlier in the week. So, I felt that wasn't accurate and was pushing me into a higher BMI category. However, when I said I would probably wait since I have been losing 10 pounds per month, they told me I would miss out on the sale so it would end up being more. In the end, we were able to work out a price that got me to my target investment range (1/2 of what the price started at) and I was able to get scheduled for a procedure the following week. I would have rated this experience a 5 if the sales process didn't feel so "used car sales" like. Thank you for helping make a HUGE difference in my life, Sono Bello!

I went into Sono Bello knowing this is not a loose weight quick gimmick. I was more worried about the overall shape of my body and not the number on the scale. I was able to get in and have my procedure done only after 2 days of first meeting with the staff. Dr Flagge made me feel comfortable and never once did I second guess myself before having the procedure. The surgery took about two and a half hours and even though you are not put under I don't remember anything about the procedure. I remember telling the doctor after the surgery I had no pain which I didn't and still not have had any real major pain in the 10 days after surgery. The day after I removed my bandages and replaced with some knew ones. This was my first chance to see myself after surgery and I was very pleased. I looked thin and fit, but the days after I have had a lot of swelling which I was told is normal. My incisions healed very fast and are already scabbed over and seem to be getting smaller each day. My swelling is slowly going down and I'm very excited to see my results in 6 months. The swelling does discourage you a bit because I was actually bigger than when I went in for the procedure, but you have to just remember its just swelling. On day 9 I went in for my post op and was 5 pounds lighter. Ive been trying to not eat any junk food or drink any pop after the surgery because this is my new life and I don't want to ruin it like I have over the past 8 years with fast food and pop every day. If you are on the fence I would highly recommend Sono Bello In Edina, MN the staff is amazing and so are the doctors. I would go through it again without hesitation.

I had the TriSculpt E/X procedure. It has been about 2 1/2 weeks since my procedure and I am about 75% healed in my recovery process. The surgeon did an amazing job, I will say! Once I am 100% healed, I know that I will love my new look even more. To be completely honest, the recovery process is painful! However, if I would have been able to tolerate the pain meds, I probably wouldn't have experienced so much pain and discomfort, but I was unable to take the pain meds that the surgeon prescribed, so the surgeon had to put me on a less potent pain med and that pain med really only took the edge off. So with that being said, I do not want to discourage anyone from getting this procedure done, because it definitely has amazing results, but I just want to be up front and honest with the recovery process. Just keep in mind, if you can tolerate the pain meds, then you will most likely have a better, more tolerable recovery, than I did. Thank you Sono Bello for the amazing results that I couldn't achieve on my own :-)

I had researched Sono Bello pretty throughly before I went in to meet with Chandra for a consultation appointment. I had several questions for Chandra in which she answered all my questions very throughly and made me feel confident in why I was there and the procedure I was getting. That day I left there feeling confident in my decision. My procedure was a week later and the day before I went in for my physical. Again, I was very nervous and scared but the nurses there were so friendly they made it much easier and reassurmed me I was still making the right decision. (a special shout out to mother hen (nurse), sorry I couldn't remember your name and Jordan (nurse) who I had the day I had the procedure I couldn't thank Dr. Hatfield enough also for making it as relaxing as it could even though I needed the max of pain medicine but once it kicked it I don't remember anything..:) Dr. Hatfield called me the next couple of days to see how I was feeling. I had my procedure done on a Saturday so that means Dr. Hatfield took time on her day off to reach out to me to make sure I was okay. Again, everyday I see results making it more exciting and promising I made the right decision and it has only been 2 weeks. I can't wait to see what I will see in 6 weeks. I look forward to going back on my 3 month check up to see all the wonderful people there from the front desk receptionist to the nurses and Dr. Hatfield. If I had to do it again I would in a heartbeat and I might just have another procedure done as I had the upper and lower abs, waist and hips. I wasn't extremely overweight, but wasn't completely satisfied with my appearance as I had gotten to my max weight, and no matter what I did, I just couldn't lose the weight. I saw several ads for Sono Bello, and had thought about actually going to check them out several times, but each time I kept chickening out. After about the 4th or 6th time seeing an ad, I decided to go ahead and give it a try, and see what Sono Bello had to offer. I must say, I'm glad I did!!! At no time did I ever feel like I was being frowned upon by any of the staff, nor did they make me feel horrible for being slightly over my desired weight. From first contact, all the way to my follow-up, as well as the weekly email updates of what to expect, Sono Bello has been nothing but top notch! The only thing I wish I would have done was taken off a month of work to allow my body to recuperate, but honestly, my body has been bouncing back rather impressively. They tell you to drink plenty of water, and to wear your compression garments whenever possible. Trust the brochures and other warnings when they say not to wear tight clothing and/or belts....(the awesome nurses can actually tell! LOL) It has been three weeks now since my procedure, and every day I see changes to my body. I am currently down 10lbs since my visit, and am looking forward to the final product. Thank you to all of the Staff for making my decision a good one!

Deciding to have cosmetic surgery was not easy for me but I am very happy I did it. It was the inspiration I needed to continue on my health care goals. I had my procedure 6-months ago and I decided to not post a comment until then because other folks want to hear feed back later vs. in the first three months. (Sorry Julie, it was that important to me) I had my consultation with Casi, it was a straight forward conversation about my goals and candid feedback on realistic expectations. There was NO sales pitch. This procedure was my choice what I did and how much I did was up to me. Here is what we can/cannot do was the talk I had with Casi. I went in wanting my arms done as that was my area that bothered me most. I ended up doing abdominal, arms and back. I am thrilled with my results it met the expectations as outlined. I have more work to do but Sono Bello helped me get closer and motivate me. I still have that I love my arms feeling everyday. I read reviews before I went in and they can scare you to death. My advice is, know yourself. If you have a low pain tolerance, your feelings about the procedure will reflect that. I have a very high pain tolerance. I knew I would be uncomfortable but knew I had a high tolerance for pain which means for me this was not a terribly painful procedure for me. I am sure Brooke and Dr. Volk could say I cared more about the music but there are “zinger” moments during the procedure in those sensitive areas but again expected as they tell you where it will hurt the most. Without a doubt I followed the discharge instructions to a tee. Including stopping the prescription meds as soon as possible (3 days) and moved to over the counter meds (Tylenol) during the day and 1/2 of a prescription med to sleep. Wear the garments for the full three months, buy spares if you can - best thing for results! For the post op time walk and follow the nutritional advise sent to you. Have a plan, get rid of the junk and east clean! The weekly notes sent are great, I am a customer service and a nudge to walk and keep up the good habits. Post op calls with Lisa kept me calm when I wasn’t and she kept me calm with good advice and showing me the before pictures to motivate me. Julie, I have driven you crazy with re-schedules due to distance. That said, I have fulfilled my promise of sharing my experience that I did want to do at 6-months because the readers really want to hear from us later. Would I do it again? Yes. Would I have a better Plan A, B and C when the real world gets in the way of your personal goals? Yes! The reality is, I wore short sleeves this summer and wore a bathing suit in public. I am down three sizes and negative self-talk is leaving my life. All of this is a combination of the procedure and personal goals. Thank you Sono Bello for the bump I needed for my goals.

The overall experience was quite an adventure. I did not do my due diligence in reviewing the process beforehand and was not prepared with the right questions at the pre-op appointment. I had 4 areas done (7 incisions). That may have contributed to the excruciating pain towards the end of the procedure. I am assuming the local anesthetic was wearing off as the doctor got to my last area. Also, I have side effects to the anxiety pills they offered prior to the surgery and they did not have the drug I preferred. I was given 2 Xanax, which I'd never had before. Shortly after leaving the facility I had a serious reaction and I ended up in the hospital the next night for observation in case it was a TIA. There was no evidence of a TIA so we are putting the blame on the Xanax. I suggest the facility, at the pre-op appointment, discuss the anxiety drugs to be offered so workarounds can be provided. I am rating my overall experience as a "3" at this time because I am only 2 weeks into recovery. I am seeing positive results but the following months will tell.

I want to start by saying I never write reviews, but this experience justifies one. I started thinking about having some lipo/body contouring done a couple months ago. I met with several (6) different surgery centers. It's not something that you really ask around about, so it's definitely tough to make a decision. I just didn't feel impressed and any procedure is a big deal. I met with Sonobello last. I made my consult appointment and met with Jessica and Casi. These 2 women are phenomenal! I felt welcome and right at home in their office. Right off the bat I appreciated their honesty. I am a "go big, or go home" kind of person. They told me outright don't do your arms, they don't need it. This impressed me. They could have very well sold it to me, but didn't. I asked a ton of questions and never felt so at ease. I didn't feel judged or rushed as I had in other consults. I signed the paperwork and scheduled my first surgery for just 2 days later I felt so comfortable, it was hands down the best experience out of any facility I met with. I needed 2 procedures as I had every area with the exception of my calves, ankles, arms and chin done. I drove home feeling excited!! Now, if you are reading my review you are going to do exactly what I did. You are going to Google until your head spins. I read every negative review I could find. I freaked out. I drove there the next am ready to cancel and tell them that I wanted my deposit back. I walked in the door and everybody working there knew my name. They didn't have me finish paying until I met with Dr. Volk (who is a rockstar!). I was taken back for my pre op appointment with Jen the nurse (also a rockstar). I told her about all the horrible reviews I found. I told her I was freaking out, I didn't want to do it. I was scared. Both Dr. Volk and Jen eased my mind within minutes. ALL of my questions were answered, my fears gone. I didn't feel rushed or pressured (as some reviews said I would). We talked about everything. What to expect, recovery, how to prepare. Once again I left there excited! My first procedure was 2 weeks ago where Dr. Volk did my top half. They talked to me during the procedure, explained everything that was going on and even listened to the music I wanted. The procedure was a breeze! Honestly, I fell asleep during part of it. They explained everything to my fiancé afterwords for what to do at home. The nurse even drew him pictures so he knew where the incisions were. They sent me home with everything I needed! Dr. Volk called me that night to see how I was doing. This was a Saturday. I received follow up calls and emails all weekend, basically every day. I had to call the center as I had a question. Dr. Volk was not in that day. He called me back from his personal cell within a half an hour! I was back to work Tuesday. Sore, but nothing unmanageable. A week later Dr. Volk completed the 2nd procedure. Basically my entire bottom half. Again, everybody there knew my name, and everything was gone through with what to expect with this round. During surgery the nurse, Dr. and myself talked about weddings, and getting engaged, everything, like we were long lost friends. Dr. Volk again called me to check on me that night. It is 2 weeks after my 1st procedure and one week after my 2nd, and I had my post op check up today. I met with Casi to tell her how great she is, how great everybody there is! I looked at before and after pictures. I still have some swelling, but the results are absolutely amazing!!! Although I wanted to jump up and down and hug Dr. Volk I just thanked him so much and told him he was an absolute rockstar! All of the nurses were awesome, especially Jen. I cannot say one negative thing about Sonobello in Edina. First class from the minute I walked in the door. I can't wait to see final results. If you are on the fence, go for it! I am so glad I did and so glad I decided on Sonobello.

I can only speak on the facility, customer service and pricing aspect on this business. I had a 12:00 pm scheduled. This business is in a big building with multiple businesses inside so I would give yourself extra time to park and find the suite. I entered the office at about 12:05 pm and waited until 12:25 pm to be seen. Normally, this wouldn't be a big deal except I was on my lunch. The front staff are friendly and the office is very clean. The office looks small in the front but once you enter the back, there's a lot of different offices. The lady who did my initial consultation was very bubbly and very friendly. I enjoyed hearing about the one day fat removal procedure, how it works, the results etc. She was really personable, friendly, and took time to hear what I've tried to get to where I am now. I really appreciated how genuine she was. The part that surprised me was the pricing. On the website, they advertise 1395/area. If you are looking to get your whole abdomen done, you are probably looking at your upper (one area), lower (second area), and waist (third area) performed. I'm giving this business a 3 star because I don't like the misinformation - the 1395 is based on your BMI (lowest range). The BMI (which is just your height and weight) determines the price range of an area - from 1395 - 2900+. I feel this information should be accessed prior to the appointment. I initially thought I was looking around a 3k price range but walked out with a quote for 10k+. There's a 2k surgeon fee on top of the areas you'd like treated.

I went there to investigate laser lipo expecting it to be way too expensive and to my surprise they quoted a price about 10% less than I hoped for.I found the staff to be friendly, inviting, and totally professional. The procedure was less uncomfortable than I anticipated-I fell asleep at one point. Pain afterwards was very minimal and ongoing my ribs ache (brings back football memories). I feel and look bloated but I'm down twelve pounds and my pants are loose. I expect that after the bloating goes away (I'm at day twelve) 'll be down around fifteen pounds and three to four inches at my waist.
