I really enjoyed my first consult with Dr. Bruce. I had seen a several other plastic surgeons in the area (and out of the area!) but I immediately responded to his positive demeanor and energy. Not sugar coating things or wrapping it up super simple, he was very straightforward. I had already a fairly real expectation and idea of the surgeries I wanted to discuss so feeling like I wasn’t being handled with care was a wonderful experience. I immediately booked my surgeries and am looking forward to Dr. Bruce to help me achieve my goals. Thank you again.

She was straight forward about the choices, and the pros and cons of each. I hadn't planned to book the treatments right away, but I did. Well, I thought I ordered two tubes of Tretonoin 1% from Illume (which I've been doing for years, ever since I moved to Madison), and only received one tube, along with a note from my mail carrier that I owed him $3.12 for postage due. (Happily, I was charged for only one tube.) I'd have been happier if I'd received two tubes and charged for postage, but I get the strong feeling that Jenna (whom I've never met) was distracted when I called in my order. When I order a second tube I'll ask specifically for Jane or Lana, in the hope that they're still there.

I have seen nightmare results with friends that didn't research and focused on price versus quality and experience. Dr. Blake is by far one of the top doctors in the state and the results are phenomenal. He thoroughly discusses options and the best procedure for the desired results. I was extremely impressed that he will deter you from procedures that will not benefit you versus other doctors that will preform them to make money. I refer all of my friends to him. Trust is huge. Our 7 month old daughter needed to have ear surgery, she was born with an accessory tregus (extra piece of ear cartilage). It was recommended by our pediatrician to have it removed by a plastic surgeon. Dr. Tom Korkos performed her surgery. He was very through, caring and eased our fears of putting our daughter under anaesthetic at such a young age. The surgery went perfect and the healing of her incision is absolutely beautiful!

For years after a sunburn I had been constantly trying multiple treatments to treat my melasma which had only been a patch on my cheek. After having my son it worsened to the point where I covered my entire face . I was incredibly embarrassed to be seen by anyone without any makeup. It got to the point where it would take me 20 minutes to apply makeup so it wouldn't be as noticeable. By word of mouth I came across Dr. Blake and his staff, and I was so happy I did. I had been looking for someone who could treat melasma in ethnic skin. Dr Blake was knowledgeable and presented me with all my possible options after looking at my skin. He recommended the Melanage skin peel for me. It has been 3 weeks since treatment and my melasma is 80-85% gone and still improving. He did remind me that post care is equally as important as the peel itself and instructed me on the importance of sunscreen use. I highly recommend Dr. Blake, Gabrielle (his aesthetician) and his staff for their professionalism, customer service and quality of care.
