Berti HelmickPlastic Surgeons should all be trained surgeons and should be certified. But certification is a voluntary credential and will only tell a patient that their doctor has had the appropriate training, passed written and oral examinations, and meets the basics.
But when your own face and body are on the line, are you willing to risk surgery without knowing more? Watching Bob Ross does not ever make one a painter. Even a fully trained and accredited plastic surgeon may know the procedures, but the outcomes disappoint. Is your plastic surgeon a painter or an artist?
Dr. Alexander Digenis, expertly trained and eminently certified, goes beyond the body canvas. Dr. Digenis possesses that elusive quality that cannot be taught: aesthetic vision. He has a classical Hellenic concept of proportion, giving his patients singularly appropriate refinement as if just perfecting what angels missed. He is a sculptor, molding breasts, waists, thighs and hips. A magician transforming a face by removing a couple of decades.

Love Dr. D!. Recently had much needed and complicated corrective surgeries. Dr. D goes out of his way to make his patients feel comfortable and at ease. He makes sure that you understand what to expect during and following surgery and you can rest assured you are in safe and extremely competent hands! Can't say enough good things about the practice and staff as a whole. The team at Digenis will treat you like family and address all your concerns. While doctor's appts. can be intimidating, you will find you look forward to seeing Dr. D and the folks at Digenis. They are knowledgeable, professional, good listeners and great people! If you are feeling unsure, they are great about walking you through all the options so you will be happy with your results long term. Dr. D is an artist, operates from his heart and it shows in the work and the level of care. Highly recommend. No reservations!

I was able to contact my doctor or his nurse at ANY time. And he even called me personally the day before my surgery.
