Easy to get to. Prices used to be more reasonable but got higher while still remaining competitive. Often crowded. The whole-wheat sandwich rolls are delicious, reasonably priced at 3 for $1 and are sold out by 9 am.

Update: After a few months of not shopping here, I now noticed the changes done to the place and how different the atmosphere feels. There's been upgrade to the registers, which probably why prices went up. Fresh bread are now 2 for $1. Cold cuts prices went up by $1. Usually by 8:30 on a Saturday the lot's full. This morning 1 May '21, I was the only customer in the store. So from 5 star I give it now a 3. This place is under new ownership as of December 2020. The regular guy that worked the deli dept is no longer there. Customer service seems to be the same, just different faces. They still provide fresh fruits and vegetables at reasonable prices. Daily fresh bread. Great variety of almost everything. Awesome place.

Please wear a mask people! Wear a damn mask when you go in there. Even when you're outside and you're eating the produce but you're not supposed to eat cuz you're not paying for it wear a mask. Also the place is so small and the Aisles are tight you don't need to bring in all your children and your entire family to buy a handful of items. It's a pandemic the fewer people inside the store the better. Use common sense!

I love this grocery store. It's very close to where I live and I can find fresh fruit and vegetable any time. I like the owner very much. He is a Korean man who is very friendly and kind. We always have a short conversation when I go shopping. I recommend this grocery store to anyone lives in Yonkers, NY.

Great deals on seasonal produce here. And if you're like me and prefer reasonably fresh, ripe fruit(Something you can eat today or tomorrow, not something that will sit on a grocery store shelf for the next 2 weeks and not rot.) this is the place to go. They have a good selection of vegetables and fruit, and discount items that are getting too ripe to keep on the shelf.(This is awesome if you like to make tomato sauce or preserves or are too lazy to wait for yellow plantains to turn black. Cheap tomatoes and perfectly ripe/almost overripe fruit.) Downside is that there is a minimum $10 purchase for credit/debit cards, and you do have to know a little about picking out good fruit because sometimes a few things aren't just "ripe", they're rotten. Overall, I prefer to go here than to my grocery store for 3/4 of my produce because it's half the price and tastes just as good.

I come here when I need something fresh and cheaper than Stop-n-Stop. Doesn't seem like the newest or cleanliness place in the food, but I have yet to be sick from their food in the last 8 years so don't worry about it. Fresh Food

This is exactly the to-go place when I am in Yonkers visiting from the suburbs and farms of Connecticut. I am used to local and fresh products with jovial and kind customer service. But being the small city that Yonkers is, I was impressed with the produce, its many types have been handled gently enough, having been shipped from South American, then been put through the bumps and crazy delivery methods that bring it to Yonkers. If you're in Yonkers and you want decent fruits and veggies, I think it's worth giving this place a try.

Best local place to buy fresh fruits and vegetables at a reasonable price. Quality and price is much better then in the supermarkets. Owner could be a bit more friendly, but the staff makes up for this.

Convenient, and not too expensive, but you need to check everything well before you buy. Many products are on their last leg. No flavor, harvested when not ripe,and rotting fast. The owner is very unfriendly. When you praise something, big smile and perfect english. When you ask if this is fresh?....umm hmm.,,,habba babba...no english and no smile.

Wide variety of fruits. If you kniw how to choose a fruit and buy, you can pick and choose from here. Because not all fruits sold here has long shelf life.
