I recently had a wonderful experience at a local fruit market, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for high-quality, fresh produce. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the variety of fruits and vegetables on display. The selection was truly impressive, with a wide range of seasonal and exotic fruits and vegetables, as well as local favorites. But what really stood out was the quality of the produce. Every item on display looked fresh and vibrant, and I could tell that the market took great care in selecting only the best products for its customers. I was particularly impressed by the selection of organic and locally grown produce, which is always a priority for me. The staff at the fruit market were friendly and knowledgeable, and they were more than happy to answer any questions I had about the products on display. They even offered suggestions on how to prepare some of the less familiar fruits and vegetables. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at this fruit market, and I left feeling satisfied and impressed by the quality of the produce on offer. My go to to decent prices and freah produce! I leave the bronx and head here for Mangoes the street guys and stores were selling 1 for $3. Here I got it for 1/2 the price. I'm glad they are an option, only 10 minutes or less from North East Bronx.

Local market with an array of goods. Fresh produce is great quality and there are foreign goods, some of which can be marked up significantly however not easily found so if you like it, you buy. There is local fresh bread sold here. There are 3 types of sales of goods going on. One is outside sale of fresh fruit/produce, inside fresh fruit/produce and goods and then the meat market area for fresh butcher cuts. All are separate and have their own means of payment methods. Cash is usually the means for the fruit/produce areas. I'm local and I've been going to this place for many years. Parking is usually available here. Can get busy with long lines however you can shop inside or out.

Inexpensive, spacious, lots of variety. Make sure that whatever you buy is fresh, as you would anywhere. It's easy to buy only the freshest items because the vegetables are all out on display. Real butcher always on duty. Cash only and no ATM nearby, so come prepared.

This is THE grocery store that won't cost you a leg or arm, carrying variety of veggies fruits and a handful of meat varieties. Its the sister store from the one on the main st. The good thing is here has its own parking lot so also save on your meter. The don't take cc but with the low cost its not a problem. Update: upstairs store is renovating the cart slope, carts can't be pulled down

This place is a hidden gem in New Rochelle. The fruits and Vegetables are fresh and much more reasonably priced than any supermarket I've ever been too. The only downside is they don't except cards and the only ATM is across the street. Aside from this- I'd be going back for all my greens!

Very reasonable prices, and an indoor grocery and deli in addition to an even broader supply of fruits and vegetables make this a local favorite. Friendly staff, friendly clientele. A great place to ask about preparation of a fruit/vegetable you've never tried before. Wonderful supply of broad range of local and exotic foods.

Really two stores. The parking lot store has great produce at great prices. The upstairs indoor store has magnificent produce for good pr. There also are some dry goods on one end and separate butcher shop but I always go there with produce on my mind.

My food went bad from there. All of it turned white and was leaking. I purchased cucumbers lime and kfcourse celery. Went again today but I only purchased celery. I will blend tomorrow because the shelf life is short.

My family and I have been going to this "hidden gem" for over a decade. We were sad we hadn't found out about it sooner. It's a classic "old school market". If you live in New Rochelle, or southern Westchester, there is no better place to go for high quality inexpensive fruit, vegetables, cold-cuts or meat. No supermarket in town comes close to matching their prices.

I used to love this store but with new management the prices went up but mostly important, the quality of produce went down a lot - if the veggies are already rotten at the store it will be in a couple of days at home. Disappointing!

Parking lot in the back is a great convenience! There is a huge selection of produce items and many can't be found in the local supermarket. If you are making an ethnic recipe, you will find all the spices, peppers, meat, and produce you could want! Also great prices. Viva Ranch is great. They're fruits and vegetables are always fresh. And they have all the esoteric items you can't find in a regular grocery store. The meat and cold cut department is also fantastic. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. There's plenty of parking, as well

The outdoor market of the store is a great place for fruits & vegetables at, 95% of the time, very reasonable prices. If the prices are ever high, more than likely they're even higher in grocery stores that week. Parking available right there. Wouldn't go too close to closing time. Workers have been known to rather aggressively start taking goods away 20 minutes before closing. Very annoying. The indoor market of the store, up the stairs, is open longer and prices are higher.

The prices are unbeatable and they operates all year long an outdoor market in addition to the indoor store.The indoor store has a selection of spices that is the largest it can be found outside of specialized stores. I don't shop here very often, but when I do I always find good prices on the products I need. There's an outdoor market downstairs with cheaper prices, however the fruit and vegetables are just a touch inferior to the assortment upstairs with higher prices. The products downstairs are perfectly good and suitable for purchase, cooking and eating. fact, downstairs is always where I begin my shopping. I went upstairs today looking for peaches which are crazy expensive everywhere, including here. Thus, I left them right there. It's an excellent place to shop with vast amounts of produce, meats, dairy and so much more.

It’s the great place to do complete food shopping: buy fresh produce, unfrozen meats, great selection of deli, S. American and European groceries and food products. I shop there for many, many years and still wondering how you could maintain products’ freshness and reasonable prices.
