Great produce at reasonable prices. The people that work at Simply the Best are Simply the Best. The customer service can't be beat. In addition to fresh produce they carry a limited amount of groceries as well as glatt Kosher cheeses, deli cold cuts, hummus, pasta sauce and Arthur Avenue Bread. The garden center carries trees, shrubs, annuals, perennials, sod, mulch and other home gardening needs. Nice selection of pumpkins and gourds just in time for Autumn.

This Friday I went into "Simply the Best" to sell them a "Forklift" and walked out a happy customer with non organic Blueberries and Strawberries. And both are still looking really good on my kitchen table- Three days later. I needed to stay in their parking lot to make a few sales calls and in comes a "Fruit and Vegetable" delivery truck from the Bronx. The delivery guy gets out of the truck and starts up the competitive forklift right next to my car. He then goes to take the "Pallet" load of Fruits and Vegetables off of his truck and into the back of the nursery and I have a great view of the entire process. What happens next is "WHY" I am now a life long customer - 3-4 employees from Simply Best and the delivery driver from the Bronx are now sorting boxes and individual pieces of fruit and vegetables to ensure that they are Fresh and meet the high standards that their customers demand and expect. I hope that the delivery man's boss from Bronx understands what a quality call is vs. just quantity? I now know WHY-They are called Simply the Best!

Plants are healthy, selection is much better than many places, fresh food too. Great quality. The reason I didn't give a 5 is because the parking is limited (and Weaver St is very busy and off the Hutch parkway) and the prices are a little high. Last time I checked they do curbside pickup.

Great product and good price. However, one of the managers or the owner has to improve his public relation skills a bit more. When a customer calls to ask questions, you don’t tell them over the phone to to “hurry up with what you want, I am busy”. It’s very unprofessional and would drive customers away. I will continue to shop at this place only because I know the workers there and they do a good job. But please be cognizant and patient with your customers. If it happens again, I might be a lost customer.
