Reviews of Key Food Supermarkets
BHI go there only when I need something fast. They don't have many things on sale. Their fruits and vegetables are very expensive. The place isn't bad but I wish it wasn't my local supermarket. It used to be an A&P about 10 years ago. It was a much better supermarket.
No savings cards. No point system for savings to really speak of. Its a very old style type of supermarket. No self checkout. I wish there was a stop & shop or shoprite by my home.
Warrior DreiI haven't gone there in awhile now. Key Food is usually pretty overpriced which this one definitely is. One of the female employee's told me the Key Food card doesn't work anymore that makes things cheaper. They stopped it over a year ago. Not cool.

Bryan AielloI would be surprised if this isn't the nicest Key Food in the city. It's even better than the one in Park Slope. That said, the bar is low. The store is reasonably clean and has good selection. Prices can run the gamut, good for some items and very high for others. Veggies are mostly reasonably priced though organic stuff runs more expensive than I think it should be. Frozen and canned stuff, meat are all reasonably priced. The deli counter is a little overpriced and the counter staff can be really bad. We ordered turkey and roast beef, huge price difference between the 2 (like $7/lb difference) and they marked both packages at the roast beef price even though one was turkey. AND they took forever because one of the two people manning the counter just wanted to talk about her personal life to us for at least 15 minutes. It was super awkward. They have self checkout and a decent selection of cold beer.
Yess CThis store offers a good selection of groceries. The employees at this supermarket are always friendly.
