Large H-mart with tons of selection, especially produce, ample free parking and a mini dining area (pastries and other snack items, including burgers) as well. They also have a good amount of regular grocery store items like pasta, ice creams etc. as well saving you an extra trip. Prices are quite reasonable and the variety of things you get are hard to beat. They also have a nice collection of Asian inspired chocolates like green tea Kit Kats and red bean, black sesame ice creams.

Quite awesome. Just visited and boy to my lovely surprise they had a nice little food court that had a lot of Korean food offerings. I had the Shrimp Don and the rest of my family had a variety of noodle dishes. This grocery store slash restaurant had it all and I liked it a lot and so did my family. Come check this little big Mart out if you are visiting the area.

We were here for the noodle actually. A little disappointing on the noodle part because it’s really not that great. Don’t trust google reviews. The noodle is presentable however it lakes about everything. Price is good. Soup noodle comes in plastic bowl and flavor is zero. Apparently it’s one line to get all the food stand here late at night. There are a couple options. The grocery however is huge here. We had a great time just wondering around the supermarket and check out Korean grocery. We end up getting some on sale items like sauce and snack which are great finds. We got here super late and therefore is not crowded at all. The shop does give a warning on their closing time so let people go home.

Great food court for Asian food with clean tables and booth seating. The order and pick up system for Hmart is efficient and straightforward. Order all your food from the front cashier and pickup your order from the counters of each restaurant. Your order number is announced and displayed on LCD screens so if you walk away or miss the announcement, you can spot if your order is ready. The downside is if you dine in as we did, your experience will be interrupted with announcements for orders over the PA system. We ordered soft tofu stew with stir fried bulgogi from K Bab and included white rice and a small array of banchan. Upon request for more chili sauce, the chef gave me a side of mildly spicy Serrano pepper condiment. There was a language barrier, but he was very courteous. We also ordered steamed dumplings from Dumplings & More. The minced vegetables of the dumplings gush out and fall apart with one bite. Lean, healthy ingredients for a shrimp and vegetable dumpling. The dumplings definitely need dipping sauce for flavor, in my opinion, but my young daughter prefers them plain without sauce. A filtered hot and cold water dispenser and plastic drinking cups are available to help yourself. We refill our water bottles here for the ride home. The restrooms are on the opposite end of the store. It was clean and well stocked. The pop music playing through the store is the loudest in the restroom. A great way to escape for a few minutes and enjoy the sound quality of the music.

So far the BEST HMart I’ve been to. I’ve been to roughly 6-8 different HM’s and this one has I think the most diversity of Asian products and produce. I went in late December and was shocked and delighted to see whole jackfruit there. Fist pump! I’d been looking in NYC and Brooklyn’s Chinatowns and at a 99 Ranch in NJ and did not get so lucky. I also loaded a bag of fully ripe hachiya persimmons which if you’re a persimmon you know that’s like finding a field of 4 leaf clovers. The HM’s in Manhattan and in NJ just over the bridge stock mostly Korean and Chinese products which is great. THIS HM also has Filipino and other Asian products. To top it all off we were 😍 to find the hipsterish products close to my heart. Bragg’s vinegar drinks, Chobani oat milk, vegan cheese. This place has EVERYTHING I’d want. The only slight knock was some of the more American produce was less than. The spinach bunches were broken, a little wilted and sad. Same with the cilantro. But it could have been an off day. I’ll still be back! I might drive up from Brooklyn on a semi regular basis for this gem in 2023.

Great store if you know what you're looking for. I go with my daughters who cook more globally than I do and they know what they are looking for so the labels don't matter as much but I don't. The labels on some of the products are not completely translated so I can't always check allergens nor do I know how to prepare the food if there's not directions. I understand the store wasn't created with me in mind but this is MY review. For the things I know about, prices are very competitive and they have a very good selection. They even sell hot food and pastries which is good on the go. I would not take any stars away because I am ignorant but I would be nice to at least be able to check on the label for things that might make a family member have a reaction.

Bibimbap makes me happy. In a hot stone pot? Even better. A colleague was good enough to take me to this little fun find - a neat little grocer with a badass Asian food court serving Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese, and Chinese options. It’s reminiscent of Whole Foods, but much more reasonably priced and better tasting. The bibimbap (served with pickled veggies, soup, and gochujang on the side) was awesome. Will definitely have to visit again next time I’m back in town.

I felt like I was in another world having an out of body experience. This store stacked with Asian products equipped with a Asian restaurant inside to sit down order food and eat as well as a cafe area with cafe items and delicious desserts. I was not even able to explore the entire store, but very diverse shoppers. Awesome store. Loved it.

One of the best H marts I've been to. Bathrooms are clean, aisles are clean, and the food court, although the food isn't great, has some pretty good options. Food court has a big area with free water. I like coming here because it is quite big and have everything in stock.

I very very much enjoyed my shopping experience here, especially shopping for produce. I very much liked that pretty much all of the produce was fresh. There was an amazing selection of korean products, which is why I came. The side dishes were neatly stacked and clearly labeled. Everything was super easy to find and check out was a breeze. The cashier did offer to bag my groceries for me, but because I'm a little ocd I declined, but it WAS offered. All in all, it was a great experience shopping here and I'll be back.

Love the variety of this foodcourt. It is as close to having an authentic korean/japanese/chinese food if you are craving for some at an affordable price. I gave 4 stars because I said spicy for the beef/seafood/tofu ramen but it lacks spiceness. Nevertheless, I highly recommend Hmart’s foodcourt and their grocery as well!

Dont want to give to many stars as it was a first time visit, next may not be as good. Wasn't helped or talked to by anyone, 4pm seems to be a peak time on Sundays. Everything from produce to dry goods seemed to be well stocked. Lots of employees stocking, cleaning, and showing they're busy. Prices are cheap for particular vegetables & fruits. I buy in bulk here for those items. Also has a cafe inside that i didnt try but seems to be authentic asian food & well priced for the portion. Items here you cannot find elsewhere. Will shop here again.

This is a good place for Asian groceries, Korean mainly. Also a sizable food hall, serving Chinese, Korean, and Japanese. If you have visited other food halls within the H mart chain, it's similar. The prices are reasonable. But the seating cleanliness is not up to par. You have to clean ur table prior to a meal.

I have heard about h Mart for a while but never had a chance to come. When we were on a trip to Los Angeles we stopped at one in k-town and we're blown away. It was so nice we went to a second one in Torrance while we were still there. I loved the store so much I had to find one close to home in the north east. It is an hour and a half drive from my house but the store does NOT disappoint. Prices were a bit higher then California, but not obtusely so. They were missing some chips I was seeking from our foray in California but I am sure stock come and goes ... We definitely will be making the trip again, probably ever 6 weeks or so. A great store!

I was in the area with the family on errands and we happened to see that this new hmart opened up. We needed some Asian groceries so we decided to check it out on the way home. We had seen the new one in Jericho and wondered how this would compare. Like the one in Jericho, it has a food court inside. A quick word on the supermarket side - of course it was plentiful, clean and beautiful (it was new!). And they had many sampler stations (naturally, on weekends). Price-wise, pretty standard but noticed many sale items presumably due to their grand opening status. Their food court was definitely impressive. They have a few themed shops (Chinese, Korean-Chinese, Korean, Japanese ramen) and a hot food bar (by the pound?). You order in one spot but pick up at the particular stall. You also return used trays to the stall. I noticed too late that they also had soup dumplings. An Asian bakery is on-site, of course. All four of us got something different. Tonkatsu ramen was just eh - the broth was a little off. My daughter said the pho was ok but they didn't provide lime or other usual condiments. My wife got a Korean beef stew which she said was pretty good. I had the jjajang myun (noodles with black bean sauce). By far the best. The noodles were perfect and the sauce was slightly less salty, which I prefer. Wished I lived closer to come here more often.

The best Asian market- this location is a little smaller than I anticipated but they packed in everything you could possibly need to cook. They have an incredible seafood area with fresh fish, crab, lobster, etc An entire wall of ramen which one can easily spend a whole hour at just trying to decide what to get 😂

I love H Mart it’s literally my favorite grocery store but I was so disappointed when I went in today because I was calling to make me some barbecue Corian chicken with some noodles and veggies and when I went to go get some chicken I found that they had removed the island that they let you pick the amount of chicken you want now you got to choose from the pre packaged And unfortunately the pre-packages are such large amounts it’s just my husband and I and we don’t really need that much chicken if they could put smaller amounts I would reconsider giving five stars instead of just the 4

I've been coming here for 2 years now. Everything you will need to make any Asian cuisine. They even have a home goods aisle. I bought my earthenware bowls and steamer from there. The produce section is vast and so is the meat area. They also have a bakery in the back and restaurant. Everything on the menu is delicious my favorite are the soup dishes. So happy this is only 15 minutes from my house. Definitely highly recommend!

We've come here for everything: shopping and eats. The way the food comes out is always so fresh and well made. We tried the whole chicken diced and the various broths. I’ve also tried burgers though, while tasty, is not what you should be trying. For the cost, it’s the quality that keeps us coming back. Try everything on the menu and also end with the bakery selections for dessert.

I've been here twice and it's basically like Disney Land for Asian food. Anything you can possibly think of, you can find here. The food made on site is delicious (not cheap, but not crazy expensive either) to the point where I've come here just for lunch. Walking through the aisles is actually a fun adventure. Produce seems to always be fresh, and the staff is attentive to questions. Not much else I could ask for from a supermarket.

I like going to this H mart in Yonkers since they have a wide selection of everything. This super market is pretty big and they provide more then just supermarkets items. This H mart has a desert section, sushi section, food to eat inside the super market section, bakery, etc… I would recommend this supermarket, especially if you are looking for Asian foods and items.

I like to go here for rare grocery finds, such a one of my favorite fruits, Lychee and white peaches, as well as Caribbean yams and seasonings! I will say their prices are on the higher side. Recently I bought 4 tiny plantains for $3 there, and found huge ones at Stop&Shop for 5 for $2. Just be wise with the prices. They also have good seafood, and a nice sized Asian restaurant within! The food always smells delicious, but I have yet to try it. The cashiers are pretty friendly also, that's always nice.

Best supermarket in Westchester County, bar none. Asian leaning products, but everything traditional you can imagine is there also. Fruits and veggies are always fresh, not beaten up, not a single rotten piece in the entire place. Fresh SEAFOOD is out of this world. should you feel hungry on the spot, please go to the far end of the shop and you will find an unbelievable food court with multiple restaurants, Korean Japanese, Thai, and all others. Fresh made Sushi of all kinds available as well. Please visit! I would give 10 stars if I could, because it is well deserved.

I absolutely love this store. Maybe its the Asian mukbangs my kids watch or the anime I watch and have watched since a kid but I LOVE their food. They have literally EVERYTHING you could dream of. They even have restaurants and a seating area in the store. I came here for the first time when I moved to Yonkers about a year and a half ago looking for spicy noodles and they have a whole aisle dedicated to ramen... they have a seafood department with fresh and live fish and seafood. Their meat department is amazing. The produce is so fresh you'd think it was picked right before it was stocked. They are VERY accommodating if you want a special order. I was able to try so much Asian foods I never even knew existed nor did I think was in stock in ANY store in America. I'm going to go here and stock up before I leave NY. That's how serious it is.

Good variety of items, with fruits and veggies so fresh, they look like they were just picked. Love their steamed buns, and I always get my guilty pleasure - jackfruit. I have not seen rambutan though, although they might stock it, I just never see it. The pre-seasoned beef, pork and chicken parts are very flavorful and makes a quick way to get a meal on rhe table. Definitely worth a visit.

Totally love the h Mart experience. The Yonkers store has a great selection especially of different beers which I find very neat. Their produce is always nice and fresh, the meats look delicious, if you're in the seafood the same as that, the stores always appear very clean. I have not utilized the in-store restaurants or the coffee shop but if they're anything like the one up in hartsdale I'm sure they're fantastic.

This one is perhaps the cleanest H Mart I've been to. Has 4-5 Korean/Chinese restaurants inside as well, along w/ a bakery (that wasn't that large though). Caries a large selection of meat, fish, and seafood. Dinging 1 star though as the cashier really was a bit unfriendly.

Hmart isn't always the cheapest option, but the location is very convenient and they carry much of what you will not find at other grocery chains. They have a massive selection and the produce is always excellent. The cuts of meat are also really nice. I've been shopping here for years and have somehow never tried the food court, but I'll have to do so one of these days.

Very big, huge variety of products, employees are usually friendly and helpful, good food choices, fresh produce, and neatly kept! The store is easy to navigate after you get used to the setup. A lot of people seem to prefer the Hartsdale Hmart, but I like this one as it is not as busy and the employees are more helpful (probably because they are not overwhelmed by the workload with so many people!). The aisles are also wider, so it is easier to pass through with the carts.

So sad that I no longer live in NY this was my favorite supermarket. My husband and I used to joke around that this place was the highlight of our day. They have a great food court. Their deli is great with fresh cold cuts and we loved their seafood section. Everything always smelled clean and fresh. The staff is helpful and friendly. I can't stress enough the cleanliness and organization in this store. I feel like this supermarket is the best kept secret in Yonkers. I wish they opened a few down in Florida.

If you're grocery shopping the food here is fresh and qualify, they have a wide array of items to choose from that is much harder to find at a standard grocery store. And if you're here for the food court the food is well made, it's way better than some of the other options in the area. Overall I've had a great experience shopping here and no complaints.

I absolutely love this store! I come by so often and I enjoy everything the store has to offer. From the food court to the bakery, from the deli to the seafood area, from aisle to aisle, this place is great. All the workers are helpful and perform well in what they do. The bakery is hands down the best part of the store in my opinion because their variety of drinks and pastries is splendid and its employees tend to work as fast as they can, saving plenty of time.

So big and clean! Lots of vegetables, meat, and seafood options! I love the sashimi! You get 2+ people worth of sashimi for less than $20 (right next to the fish section, not the ready-to-eat food section). The beer isle was probably the most surprising with so many uncommon options!

With all that is going on, I was impressed by how calm and how few shoppers were there at 4pm. They were well stocked with fresh vegetables and fruits. They had everything except toilet paper. I will admit that there were some interesting fish choices, but the place was clean, well stocked and had very good prices. I will likely be returning here hoping to avoid some of the other crowded grocery stores.

I posted 1 star review about a month ago and went back to the same place and noticed the difference the store had made. our family ordered soup dishes (no fried food this time) and really enjoyed. Thank you for listening! Food court should be inspected soon and often. The food court was great when the store first opened but as months passes the place is not quite the same. Anything fried food had dirty oil trail... not because of the sauce. They use oil too long. People with proper food handling license are not at all time and often kitchen helpers cook the foods. I see lots of food handling violations. I would give 4 or 5 for the entire store though! I like the store but the food court is the problem I want to see resolved soon.

Just went in for some Braggs Organic Apple Cider Vinegar. 32 oz bottle 4.99 each. Fresh 🍑 southern peaches were .59 lb. It has a very good deli department. Boar's Head brand luncheon meats. Very clean and there is hardly ever a wait at the deli. Fast easy checkout. Plenty of parking at high ridge shopping center. This H Mart was previously a Pathmark store.

This was my first time there at this particular Korean grocery store. I am incredibly happy that it opened up and only about 13 minutes from my house. I'm Jamaican however I like to cook a lot of Korean and Asian dishes, they inspire me. H Mart had everything that I was looking for including an aisle that has earthenware pots and other items needed to cook certain dishes. I needed ingredients to make kimchi and there were items I've never heard of and I wasn't sure if it was even going to be there but it was I have no complaints. Whatever type of Korean or Asian item you would need especially ones we don't see in every day sections of vegetables or herbs you will find it there. There neat section was also expansive. Can't wait to go again. Oh and I forgot to say they also have taste samplings there at least 6-7 postings of different things to try. I always love those things when grocery shopping. enjoy!

Amazing place! They have the most fresh produce and meat available! I drive 1hr from home to get here and I don’t ever regret it. They also have specialty cut meats for Korean cooking and a lot of good fresh seafood. Tons of Korean and Japanese grocery items. There also is a very nice food court and bakery/coffee shop where you can eat and relax while you shop. On the weekends, there’s also food samples given out. It’s just a very nice place to visit.

You can do most of your white people shopping here too. Of course the meat and seafood is high quality. In pre covid days they would have many sample tables. That was nice but i have noticed that without them the movement around the grocery store is improved. Anyway this place is terrible. Stay home.

I love this store! I was blown away by the selection of interesting products (which I don’t understand what some are)! I want buy so many items. The dumplings in the frozen section are so good (especially when compared to the Costco Asian dumplings) If you love Korean / Asian cuisine, this is THE place for you in Westchester. I honestly love coming to Have Mart. It's like having a Korean Whole foods without the Whole foods price. They have many different foods that you simply can't find, very conveniently, in one place. The staff are very friendly and they have small independent shop places located within the store. The cafe within the store has great men and women that make excellent drinks and can suggest good dessert options. Although, I would suggest, if you like bubble tea/drinks, you get there early because they sell out super fast. On the other end, if your looking for healthy food options, try the spinach and kale dumpling or get one of the soups from the hot food area. Now if you want the most fantastic blend and flavour you ever had and calories are no issue...... You must absolutely get any of the super fries they have. They are by far the best damn tastiest fries you can get! Everything in the store is good and fresh so no matter what you get, you'll be happy with your purchase. Definitely visit the cafe area though, they are a fun bunch of people :)

It’s a great place to shop with huge aisles and an unusual selection of pots and various cooking utensils. Their fish market offers ( I think) one of the largest displays of live fish outside of an aquarium! And their prices are very competitive.They also offer hot food in their food court and it’s a popular place to grab a meal.

I love H Mart! They have a huge produce and meat section, incredibly fresh fish, a large variety of other products (clearly labeled as Korean, Japanese, American, Latin, etc), AND several little cafes/eateries inside! They also have a bunch of sample stations set up, so you get an idea of what things taste like before you buy it (which is really helpful if you can't read the labels). They have literally everything you could want and the check out lines always seem to be short and move quickly. I would definitely recommend!

It was very busy when I arrived. There was an automatic temperature check upon the entrance and it was fairly clean and organized. There were plenty of workers around, so I asked one where I would find the Pad Thai sauce. I picked up the last three jars for $5.69 each, that was a bit much, but I was desperate. I went to the newly opened H Mart. The store is immaculate. Great for anything Asian that you might be looking for. So many different kinds of noodles -- Japanese, Chinese, Korean, etc. Good deals on thin sliced boneless rib steaks for cheese steaks or stir fry. Also other meats. The produce is always fresh, reasonably prices and great variety. The cold cuts are Boar's Head and much cheaper than other supermarkets. Try it. You will be glad that you did.

There are pros and cons about this shop... the pros are the reason I keep shopping her. This location is very close to home and i can find good fruits and vegetables. However, if you're looking for sales and to save, this is not the place to do your grocery shopping at! They rarely have good sales, and you become a member for a "smart savings card" to accumulate points that are supposed to eventually give you some type of savings, but I've been shopping here for at least 4 yrs and I still have not experienced the benefits of this "savings card." No coupons, nothing at all! Furthermore, some of the employees are extremely rude!!! I've seen guys, employees, coming into the fruits and veggies section, rushing with a cart and they do not even say excuse me or give you some type of warning, almost as if willing to run you over with the cart as they do their job. Some of the cashiers are ruthless! There's one that is particularly unpleasant and rude, her name is Akemi (according to my receipt from that day). This young woman rolls her eyes, rushes you, makes mistakes when charging you for your groceries (so beware), and sometimes won't even speak to you (she will make signals instead). Im not sure if these employees are prejudiced towards Latinos and anyone that may seem African American to them, or they're simply rude to everyone! But this has been my experience so far. I will clarify that I'm a highly educated, professional Latina woman that obviously knows how to carry herself and treat people with respect. I've never given these employees, including this cashier in particular, any reason to treat me in any other way but with respect and dignity. Whoever manages this location should perhaps supervise employees' behavior on the job and review ways of making customers feel more welcome, motivated, and appreciated. Employees mistreating customers should face consequences for their behavior.

Great selection of Asian groceries from many countries in Asia. It's a multicultural place to shop. Prepared, semi-prepared, and raw foods are all available and taste great. You can bring your favorite cuisine home with their in house restaurants. Try the Ube Ice Cream and Halo Halo desserts and ice creams, which will not let you down. Also try the pre-marinated meats and you can't go wrong. Great place that strays away from the usual grocery stores.

This place is great! The fruits and veggies are high quality like the type you would find at Whole Foods but are half the price. There is a great selection of marinated meats ready to take home and cook and they have a dining court that serves great food including huge bowls of ramen cooked to perfection. If you like French pastries they have a nice little shop and many items are half off if you get there after 7. Also, if you like samples, go there on the weekends they are always offering samples of different foods on promotion. The space is super clean and the lines are always fast regardless of how many people are there. Wide selection of noodles, ramen, udon soba and other East Asian/ Pacific Islander products. Definitely must visit!

Amazing selections of Asian and standard American fare, with pleasant workers to help you navigate the aisles. If you are asian and miss some of the flavors of home, you are bound to find them here. The produce here is very fresh and the place is worth a visit for that reason alone. There is a fish section with fresh and frozen fish, and they will gladly fillet, butterfly cut or otherwise clean the fish of your choice. The aisles are festooned with all manner of asian goods but you can find your jiff peanut butter here as well. You dont forget you are in a supermarket that caters to the Asian palate, but there is enough local fare and brands so that you could make this your everyday super market like my Filipina wife and I have. The prices for the most part are rather reasonable, though I find the pork and beef prices high. You can score some excellent deals on chicken and fish. Avoid the frozen fillets of pollock - I was very disappointed as they cooked up into a soupy mush. It was one of the few times I was disappointed. Other frozen items or fish frozen and then thawed for sale were fine. All in all, this is a great market for those looking for an asian flare, but it is also a market that has enough variety to be a place you can safely go knowing you will find the more recognizable brands you shop for elsewhere. The produce and the fish make this worth the trip!

Visited this hmart at Yonkers by chance. Overall feeling is that the store is large, supplies are sufficient. But it seems that the seafood department is short of staff. May be it just happened by chance. Anyway, not many complaints about this store.

I enjoy coming here. There are Western food options along with the majority of Eastern foods. The employees are friendly and helpful. You can also sample foods in the late afternoon/early evening (4-7) on weekdays and (I believe) the afternoon (12-6) on weekends.

Excellent supermarket. For anyone living in the Bronx and needing Asian groceries, this is the go-to destination. You avoid the headache , the toll, and the grime of flushing, the bridge for Jersey, and now the half-hr additional drive up to Scarsdale. All for good quality , cleanliness, and a good food court. It is much cleaner than Chang Li and 95% of flushing places. It is on par with other suburban H-Marts, now much more conveniently located.

Worth the trip to yonkers. We loaded up on dumplings and so far they are all BOMB. it's the size of all the hmarts in the city put together x2. They also had regular grocery items so I was able to do my regular grocery shopping and buy goodies.

I use to really like this asian food store. I would be very careful with purchases and observe the associates when samples are offered. I have observed that some of those associates take liberties when cooking their samples. I saw a woman distributing sample of wasabi product, drop the lid of her small cooker and all the small plates. I saw her wipe the lid and keep cooking and just gather the plates that were one the floor. Additionally, I have reported to sales clerks that some their frozen dumplings wrapped in plastics have several holes, about 0.5-1cm in diameter. She put in back. I pressed her and asked if she thinks it was safe to sell that product when there are large holes in the bag? She knodded and put it back. I asked her to remove it and she started to talk to a male sales clerk. She waited until I walked away and I walked back around she put it right back. I have been given sample snacks and looked at the wrap and I note they distributed them passed the sell by date. PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!!! If you care about quality, I recommend being more careful and examine the products you are purchases. If you are sampling some food there, I would just STOP. I wouldn't sample the food as they don't observe sanitary measures.

Best selection of gourmet and regular produce. Everything from tomatoes to Shanghai tips and Dragon fruit although pricey. Exceptionally well priced fish market. The staff will customize fish (clean, debone, fillet, etc) for you. Prepared foods are good and there are independent restaurants within selling everything from Korean to Japanese fare. We are chefs and this is 1 go to place other than Citarella and some Mom Pop shops for butchering.

This HMart in Yonkers is really nice. It's bigger than the one in Hartsdale. If your into Korean food or Asian food in general this is the place to go. In the back they have four eateries and a lot of seating. They have Chinese, Korean and Thai. I don't remember what the fourth eatery serves. The supermarket is nice too. Asian delicacies and kitchen staples like milk and eggs. Oh they also have a bakery to die for.

Buying fruit can difficult. You want to eat organic, but organic places stock fruit that tends to be no where near peak ripeness. Hmart's produce is consistently ready to eat, or very close to it - it's become our favorite market, with a really wide selection of conventional, organic, and Asian offerings, and the most comprehensive seafood section anywhere. The in-store restaurant is a really handy attraction... and, you can ask the seafood department to steam up lobsters. clams or crabs right in the store. Another attraction is the food sample stations scattered throughout the store. If you haven't been, you must check out Hmart - you'll become a convert.

Very fresh produce at a great price. Very large selection of usual and unusual produce. For example, over 10 kings of mushrooms, over 6 kinds of scallions and over 10 kinds of onions. Lychee, logans, Korean melons, etc. They have over 6 kinds of free range eggs at terrific prices! $1.50 to $2.50 a dozen most are organic. They fall down in the traditional food selections. Their meats can be expensive and may not be up to par. Their sea food is to die for. Isles and isles of fresh, live and frozen selections. They also have marinated and pre made meats, etc.

A larger selection of groceries than the Hartsdale Hmart, as well as a larger food court, and a liquor store next door. The larger selection also comes with cheaper produce prices and more frozen food options. The food court has Korean fried chicken which is up to snuff, and the pajeon is sizeable and filling. The ramen seems like its just Shin or another instant noodle put in a bowl and topped off- definitely not worth the price here, so skip it. Still, the prices are very reasonable.

A friend brought me and my boyfriend here earlier to window shop but we ended up getting some seafood and marinated korean butt steak lol we just cant help it. This supermarket is huge and I didnt expect it had a lot of Filipino goods (coz most asian markets only have Chinese and Japanese goods)! If you're from the Philippines and are craving for Filipino canned goods and pancit canton, this is the place to go! Also, the supermarket has a Korean deli inside. There's also a bread stall that sells their items 50% off if you buy it past 7pm. This supermarket also has a a small chinese and korean foodcourt which is awesome. I would love to come back on a cheat day and just grab all kinds of food that my tummy can handle. 😂😀

Great Asian focused market with American items too. In addition to the more common fruits like Asian pears, you'll find a wide selection of kimchi, mushrooms (dried and fresh), eggs, teas, noodles, etc etc. Get shabu shabu or bulgolgi meats here pre sliced. The store also has other food and beauty booths inside which are separate stores, but you can get a sushi lunch here or a number of other pastry or toiletry booths (pay separately from grocery checkout)

To sum up: HMART provides almost everything that a traditional American supermarket would provide with a nice Asian accent. I've been shopping in the area for 35 years. HMART is built on the bones of the old supermarket giant, Pathmark. I liked Pathmark. When it closed, I relied more on Costco and a few other specialty stores. Then, HMART mysteriously appeared. I had no clue what it was until my Korean friend educated me. Essentially, it's Korean Pathmark! It has almost everything that Pathmark had, plus a superior produce section, a lot of Asian foods, a good selection of seafood, and an Asian food court. I still make my occasional big trips to Costco, but I come here once a week when I need something Asian, or good/unusual produce. I also go to the attached food court, which isn't fine dining, but is still fair in quality.
