Awesome place. I love what they're doing and the food they are growing. Educational programs could be thought of a little better with grade level and attention span consideration. Thank you for doing your best to sharing the knowledge!

Hidden gem with donation based yoga every Sunday at 10:30am, a great Sunday market at 12p with the best bread vendor in town, and a zero waste refill station in their community store. They also offer classes like how to build your own pizza oven, and how to grow vegetables. Perfect for all ages!
Corey
Wonderful local farm and market!
I have a share with their Community Supported Agricultural program, each week from December into May I pick up a load of beautiful local produce.
There's also local honey and other great vendors at the Sunday markets, including other growers like EcoFarm.
Such an asset to the community!

The farmers market this Sunday was lightly attended. We were disappointed at the small number of vendors and the nearly complete lack of prepared food to eat on site. They do grow nice vegetables.

I love this local farm! Free entry, easy parking, and dog friendly! I was surprised by how wonderfully shaded this area is. The live music is always fun and they have a variety of rotating vendors that never disappoint.
Jill Sessa
Terrific place, plenty of produce and goods available plus wonderful energy of supporting this initiative.
There's also a Refill store opened down the road, all worth the visit.

Cool place for locals organic food & drinks. Just wish to have a chance to visit inside the farm.
Magda Santos
Good organic vegetables, food and clothing vendors, music, workshops, future farmers classes for kids, lots of shade, and relaxing atmosphere.

I was looking for something unique and fun to take my grandkids to . My grandson is very interested in organic gardening he's been doing that for over a year now at home. I had never heard of Sweetwater organic farm until recently. They have a tour of the farms at 1;00 on Sundays so we went to check it out today. The tour was very interesting and informative! My grandsons were fascinated with it! After the tour we walked around the farmers Market. We had a fresh smoothie, bought some produce and some plants. They have a small outdoor stage with seating area where you can watch the performances. It was very enjoyable and relaxing. Various musicians perform from 12 until 3 p.m.
The farm is run by volunteers of all ages from 16 up. My grandson asked if he would be able to volunteer. Volunteers do not need to register ahead of time. They can just show up at 9 a.m. on Sundays. The volunteer hours are until 12 noon. It was a great experience for all of us. We plan on getting involved as volunteers. If you volunteer you will want to be sure to apply sunscreen and bug spray. They also have field trips for homeschool and school groups which can be used as part of classroom activity participation credits. I highly recommend this as it is definitely worth the trip!

Cute small market. Nice to go to on a Sunday to buy fresh fruits and veggies.

Ive always had a good time at the farm. The public can volunteer and get to know the place better and see exactly what can be done in small space. Florida growing season is unique to the rest of the U.S. so the farm does close down in summer months. The market is quaint and cozy, not big and crazy. Get to know awesome local vendors and if you spend any time there, it becomes like family. Definitely worth checking out on a Sunday afternoon, Oct-May when the weather is nicest!

I have been coming here for the Sunday Morning Market for years! The farm is beautiful and the people who run it are wonderful and so passionate about providing fresh, healthy produce to the community. I love going to the yoga classes also!
Alexis Kassan
The Sunday market is phenomenal! Smaller than most with just a few booths, this market is accessible and has great products from local vendors. The produce from the farm itself is delicious. Get in on their beans when they're in season.
Dolly Ferrer
Its small n quaint. Everyone was super helpful n ready to educate. Many of the item prices were compatible with regular vegetable prices at Wal-Mart. The difference is everything grown is Organic n Fresh right off the farm! Also the vegetables tastes so much sweeter than store bought. That alone is worth the trip!

It was cute for a neighborhood garden. I might not have been so disappointed if it wasn't advertised as more of a farmer's market - but there were more random vendors than vegetables! Not what I expected... Had to go to Publix for veggies after. Wasted trip. If I enjoyed gardening, however - it would have been a great deal more appealing.
Felix Santiago
Unique community garden with very helpful and nice staff. It hosts a farmer's like garden on sunday morning with local made or grow products and even as live music. Wonderful place to check out with the family!
Julia Fleming
The eye mask you sent was a God send! I woke up this morning with a migraine. I took my meds and warmed it up. I was able to relax and fall asleep and let my meds work. The lavender was amazing! I am a true believer, and this will be my go to from now on. If you suffer from migraines, I recommend this product!

I love this farm. It's a joy to work the land, which includes a whole off-site property, and the produce is fresh and healthy. I like that there are few vendors. Other larger markets feel like flea markets. This is a farmer's market. Fresh food, just a few crafts, live music, and farmers.
Angelica Egozcue
Beautiful and welcoming community of farmers providing organic goodies and smiles. I love it here
Chip Weiner
One of the coolest things about Sweetwater is that it right in the middle of the city, which probably limits its size. Still, it's a community-based organic farm providing produce for its members and the public. If you go in season (November through May) make sure to spend time at the Sunday market and eat some of the food. There are vendors there that make some delicious dishes!
Jester
Very convenient location is the star of this show. It's not a very large market (downside of having a location within town). Prices are a bit up there (again). The people however are suuuuuper friendly and service oriented. All in all, a nice experience for the family although I only bought what we absolutely needed at the time.

I went to Sweetwater Farm. From what I visited people are so warm and helpful to me about organic foods All foods looked so good and fresh. Its nice have diversity of all farmers market not just Sweetwater. I wish i am member to get large amount of organic foods i suppose they can afford to be member. However I can buy at public market on every Sunday with EBT. The downside is some vendors only prefer cash. I hope in near future it will change for better. Being disabled and have healthy foods would help improve my health :) I shall buy more from farm. i hope i can grow my own organic food at my apt.

Ja bless this community. Working every moment to bring abundance and blessings to the community. I’m proud to say I’ve been there. I’ll be helping out when ever I can.
The fresh foods available are inspiring to everyone who enters.
Beauty is definitely being beholdin here.

Stayed on Sweetwater Organic Community Farm in the tiny house AirBnB for almost a week! What a fantastic community farm, truly a hidden Tampa Gem. The farm itself is beautiful and has natural walking paths, a Sunday Farmer’s market, and Yoga on the Porch, plus volunteer farm days! Not to mention the sweet pets who live on the farm like the chickens, cats, and Sweetie the pig :). I had the best vegan mini apple pie at the market.
What I love about Sweetwater is that the land transports you to the simplicity and restfulness of country life, yet it is just a trot down the road from a TJ Maxx...who would have thought? Give this place a visit, or stay in the Lovely Tiny home and see how this is Your Community Farm!

In the heart of the city this is a hidden gem. I could go here just to relax and walk around. The staff took us on a tour educating us to an organic farm lifestyle. We learned how to grow organically and what you can/can't eat naturally. They've inspired me again and I can't wait to visit again.

Children’s camp during summer is a Tampa Bay best-kept secret. Shhh. This CSA farm is tucked away in Town & Country next to Sweetwater Creek. What a beauty! Organized, great co-op, high-quality farm & fresh produce the best. Go there every Sunday for the market or email for special events which are happening all the time. Organize a field trip. Kids learn all about soil, bugs, organic gardening and can play like real unplugged kids. We rate Sweetwater Organic Farm 5/5 stars.
Donna McGrew
Interesting place..a working organic farm that believes in education. You can learn about beekeeping and organic farming. Open to the public 3 times a week for tours. Check them out on Facebook for more information.
DeShawn Marie
Awesome place, gorgeous farm with fresh organic goods. Fun vibe, great place to bring the family on a Sunday when they have an artisan market with live music and more.

Came here for a first grade field trip on 16 April 2019. The guides are very good with the children and the kids learned a lot with hands on experience here.
Since this is organic, there mosquitoes are certainly present so while we did not get bitten we had to shoo away bugs often.
The parking is on commanche off Hanley... In the grass after the pavement ends. Then you cross a a walking bridge to the farm.
Martie Turner
Great shared Pesto Festo dinner with local followers with music and banquet dinner....Friendly & Festive!!

Fun, community garden. Good balance of the health conscious, the urbanite crowd, and families just looking for cheaper alternatives to grocers. Definitely enjoy this place.

Education available to help the back yard farmer. How could you not love a farm in the city and folks willing to move non gmo local organic food forward.
Danielle R
Nice little Sunday Market. The employees are very friendly and helpful. Best salad we've purchased in the area.
Karen Wood

Dee K.
Love this place! The Sunday markets run from mid October to mid May have the best prices for vegetables, and they are all organic!
Jane Simon
Sweetwater is the ORIGINAL example of organic farming. I must admit I was amazed to find it in Tampa, but the CSA and the market are just amazing. And, the veggies are the freshest I have ever tasted. WOW!
John Palenchar
