Not my favorite Publix, but only because it's an old store and very small. No matter how many times I go there I can't get used to the layout and can't find what I'm looking for. The layout just doesn't make any sense to me. It's a clean store and the employees are friendly and courteous.

I have never given a grocery store a review.... however this has been the best experience in a supermarket! Every employee I've interacted with was so nice and professional. I went to the deli, to asking someone in the aisle to look for chips, then dropped my package here comes another employee helping me bringing me a basket. Then finally the register.. the baggage guy and the check out lady super nice!!! Kudos to the store manager and it's staff. Not only is the store clean but you guys it it..good customer service!!

The only reason it does not get 5 stars is due to the size... think micro. It's a wee store, so it can sometimes feel crowded due to space challenges. However, it does not lack organization or quality products, and all in the clean, friendly environment Publix is known for. Just be a little patient when going.... especially at the deli!

We enjoyed our visit to Publix to buy a few items during our visit to downtown Tampa. This particular location was conveniently located to walk from the downtown Convention Center, Embassy Suites, Marriott hotels, etc. The staff were particularly friendly and kind during our checkout. The selection was extensive as we would usually see in our Publix store at home. Thank you!

I "REALLY" don't like the layout because of tight aisles and seemingly random placement of products. And the lack of items I can find at many, MANY other Publix locations was a bit of a shock. But the staff were decent. And it was close to where I was working and my hotel. I'd give it a 3.25 if I could.

I love Publix because the people are nice, they have great produce, and a balanced selection of products. If you have not been to this location before, be prepared because it is not laid out like any other location I have been to. The building is odd shaped so they had to change their normal layout. Confusing layout, but same great Publix.

I was in need of baby formula so I called the Publix down the st from my job the guy that answered the phone was super friendly and he took his time to go see if they had the formula I needed for my baby which they did I told him I be over once I got off at 7pm he offered to put my two cans behind the customer service desk this is what you call great customer service thanks Publix

Cleanest store I've been in for a while, staff was friendly & helpful, customer service not so much, jumped to conclusions before reading the receipt. The cashier rang up an item that was not ours. My wife wife was purchasing wic items For our child and the cashier couldn't remove the item that wasn't ours, so we took the receipt to custom service and before we could even tell the Csr what we were removing she instantly said "oh that's so wic you can't return that." It wasn't a wic item, it was the item we never picked up. Didn't apologize just proceeded to do the refund, told us that she couldn't put the money back on the debit card that we used, she would have to give it to us in cash my wife and I said no problem. Once the transaction was finished we left Not looking forward to returning to this location. This took place the night of 5/19/2022

Though small this is a very nice Publix. The store is extremely well-run and a credit to the management. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and the butcher and seafood departments are very knowledgeable and more than willing to help and make custom cuts and orders. The store even being a smaller store has an extremely efficient check out crew moving people quickly and has very little wait at checkout. Items AR neatly organized on the shelves and the store is very clean. The deli section has excellent sandwiches and hot food. The bakery is definitely First Rate. The only issue is that during peak hours parking can be a little difficult. Overall an excellent Publix.

Publix is always clean and there are plenty of staff to help you find what you need, as long as they have it in stock. Around lunchtime isn't a good time to visit as parking is quite limited at this location. Overall Publix is my go to for groceries.

I can't say enough about Scott (the manager at Publix). Our organization ordered for pickup in Instacart online as we were cooking for the Ronald Mcdonald house charities. We picked up the food and got to the RMH to find out that our chicken wasn't substituted pound for pound (and we wouldn't have enough to cook for the RMH families). I called Publix and Scott (without a moments hesitation) personally delivered the rest of the chicken we had ordered to the Ronald McDonald house. Quick solution with a smile. Thank you Scott for making our experience a great one!

Kind of an odd but centrally located store, convenient for the locals that can buy fresh goods at their favorite grocery store at almost walking distance. This location always has my Pub-Subs hot, fresh and ready when I come to pick up. Everyone is overtly friendly and smiley, it makes me feel like I'm in Pleasantville. Store is clean, with ample room and plenty of diverse products to choose from. This Publix definitely does make my "Shopping a Pleasure!"

Great Publix but the Deli staff needs some training, or at least the guy who handled my order yesterday does. Training on how to set cut thickness, how to read a scale properly and fraction to decimal conversions, how to bag cheese, how to communicate with customers would all be a good start.

Publix is always a nice place to shop. This one has a slight drawback due to it's parking lot and the fact it's in an area that has multiple one way streets. I drive a big truck, so turning in from a one-way street while a car is trying to exit on the same street makes for a VERY tight fit into the drive and a tight turn down the parking isle. Other than that it's the same Publix structure that we know and love.

Our shopper was excellent. Very responsible and conscientious. My only concern was that we had to go in the store to get our items because you were very busy and asked us to come in. While we had masks on people who are in the highest age range for possibly having or being a carrier were not . Our purpose for using the pick up option is to avoid going in and protecting ourselves & others.

I was looking for a countertop Christmas tree. Went to 3 other Publix locations but was unsuccessful. The Kennedy & West Shore location had a couple left but they weren't in good condition so I passed. I thought I would try the Bayshore location, it's not the location that normally shop at but desperate times calls for desperate measures. In other words, my hubby didn't get the tree on time! I didn't see any on the outside so entered store and asked a young man if they had any left. He stated that they had a couple left, and that Publix was giving them away for nothing. The young man was so courteous and the last two Christmas 🎄 were in excellent shape, someone took the time to water and shield from the sun. Thank you for your generosity( saved me $33 plus tax) and kudos to the employee who helped me.

Good morning, I had a fantastic shopping experience at the Tampa Bayshore store. Erika was very helpful. She help me locate a few items on my list. Erika was stocking shelves and stopped to take me to the correct aisles and showed me the items. A lot of grocery store.employees will just say, The item is located on Aisle 5." and go back to what they were doing. Erika went above and beyond. I needed help with a few items and she was extraordinary. The store was extremely busy as it was lunchtime. I really appreciate all the help she provided. In addition, I ordered 3 whole subs after waiting 15.mins in line at the Deli. The sandwich maker, Nicole was fast, efficient, and did the required suggestive selling. As l was heading to check out, l ran into Erika again and she saw that l was looking for medium cups for the fountain drinks. There were none, so AGAIN she stopped what she was doing to go in the back to see if there were medium drink cups!! I felt like l was at Erika's home the way she treated me like a VIP guest. She has exceptional customer service skills, a beautiful smile and was very helpful. Thank you for an awesome, friendly, and wonderful shopping experience. I wish l could give 20 stars instead of the 5 limit. I have been a loyal Publix customer for 31 years and l will continue to shop @ Publix. Best regards, Christine

This is our go to Publix. They always have majority of what we need. Bogo deals are always on awesome products so it's nice to get more for your money that way. The customer service here is exceptional! Everyone who works here is incredibly polite and friendly. Someone always offers to help us to our car and they always treat my kids so amazing giving them stickers and coloring pages. It's the little things that count!

This is a medium size downtown Publix, and has been the grocery store of choice for thousands of residents of Tampa. It is efficiently run, clean, tidy and well stocked. One of my favorite things to do while on vacation is check out the local grocery store. I was delighted when my shuttle driver, without prompting, started going off about the deli subs. Obviously, I had to get one. Full sub on sale for 6 bucks. You should have seen the locals going crazy for this thing! ("I can get ANY SUB?! THE WHOLE THING?!") in the 20 minutes I was there (yes, the line was that long, and completely worth it) I saw no fewer than 6 dudes just about sh#& their pants thinking it was the best day of their lives. Solid grocery store. Clean, great selection including organic and healthy choices. Fresh produce, over the top deli, and a never ending bakery. I went back two more times in the 5 days I was nearby (had to try all the popular subs, including the off menu ones)

It's just too small with a limited selection and a decidedly cramped ambiance. Fine if it's in walking distance but if you're driving, drive a little further to a real publix.

About 2 years ago I made a very poor review about this publix Deli service. However, I'm happy to say that this place has become so much more accommodating and inclusive. The lines are never long even at peek hours. The employees genuinely seem happy and their produce is the best in the state.

Super convenient and fair prices. I love Publix in general. Issue with this store is it's so cramped in there and it always feels like a hot mess of people, especially on the weekends. I realize it's a downtown grocery and it comes with the territory... As in the many other urban groceries I've been to in other cities, they should have smaller carts to make maneuvering the place much less stressful.

Great Publix, as usual but this location is smaller than most. The parking lot is decent sized with easy access to/from Platt and Bayshore but I recommend to avoid shopping here around evening rush hour. This small store can get busy....and fast!

This, like most Publix stores, is very nice, with helpful staff. It's a smaller location, so not quite as much selection on the shelves. Getting into the parking lot is a challenge, and getting out, because it is at a corner surrounded by all one streets that don't play well with each other.

I asked managers about batteries, and the told me they didn't have what I was looking for...i walked out, and a manager came running after me, in the parking lot, showing me exactly what I needed. Went in tonight and first off Haley in the bakery was above and beyond on my orders for sweets and a cake order to pickup Wednesday. Just outstanding. Then at check out i have a huge two buggie order and Trish smiled the whole time was friendly and helpful with my request to bag certain items in by themselves she was above and beyond had two great guys come to help one was named Troy the other Oviedo they was so kind and helpful had three buggies leaving and they pushed my buggies out for me and helped load into car the whole team was outstanding and really made my night. These people all went above and beyond customer service expectations and I am super picky so for me to say it they need raises. They all handled themselves professionally and efficiently they were super courteous and kind with smiles. Thank you again will be shopping here on a regular basis due to your amazing employees.

This store used to be my favorite as I order from them quite a bit for meetings, and have been doing so for years. But the deli service seems to have gone down greatly and it's such a disappointment. They see you waiting at the counter and no one moves to assist you right away, waiting on each other to say something first.They don't have your items ready as by the time you select when doing an online order and seem very nonchalant about their mistakes. Especially when you go back to pick up your order and it's not even correct.Only giving 3 stars because I still find the staff friendly, but I will be ordering any online and deli items from a different location in the future.

I purchased an Amazon gift card on 8/22/2019 for a friend who was retiring in the amount of $100 unfortunately the gift card was thrown away. My friend was embarrassed that it was discarded but mentioned it, so that anything might be done. I spoke to the manager Scott and he said gift cards were typically considered as cash but he would see what he could do. Within 24 hours Francisco from the store, called me to get my friends email , address and phone number. Within eight hours Amazon had credited my friends account with a $100 gift card credit. I am so immensely impressed with the absolute and complete customer service that I received. This particular Publix is smaller and doesnt have a huge selection. Trying to order their fantastic subs takes a long time. I was seventh in line and couldn't wait, but that's ok. You have have you know the situation. Their pharmacy section is so sparse, bit it's not a CVS, is it? The cashiers are nice and the store is clean. Good, but small.

The Bayshore Publix serves a large community and as a result is usually jam packed with customers. The footprint of the store is a bit small as well which contributes to the crowded feeling. Also a result of the small footprint is a smaller stock of items than in a normal Publix. Generally, you'll find most of what you need though.

Love their offers and discounts. The quality of food/materials of Publix Brand are superior than the quality of local brands at other shopping stores like Winn-Dixie or at Walmart in my opinion. In-store deli place and bakery place are hugely popular too. Love the flan at the bakery.

Short walk from the Tampa conference center and surrounding hotels. Stopped in to get some water and snacks to avoid paying five times the amount the hotel changes.
