THIS STORE AND THE STAFF IS AMAZING! My organization held a giveback event stuffing boxes of Hope for Metropolitan Ministries. The store manager, Billy, and his staff knocked it out of the park. Billy advance ordered the products. He helped us pick the best "deal" from the ads to stretch our donation dollars even further. The store held the groceries allowing us to pay the day before the event once all our donations had been collected. But here is where they went above and beyond.... We were all flying in from out of town, his staff delivered several truck loads to our conference hotel. Thanks to the generosity and hard work of the staff at the Channelside Publix we were able to build 300 Boxes of Hope food boxes. We could not have done this without their help!

Pretty nice spot to shop. Parking is on the second floor and turning at the top can be sketchy with other cars turning to go down. It’s the only Publix’s I know of that actually has elevators and two flights of stairs. You do have access from the street too though. Staff is usually nice but there is the sometimes not so good bagger or cashier you might have. As is the standard of Publix, it’s always clean and well lit inside.

We had our boarding time for a cruise, and 3 hours after we arrived, got an email about the delay. After spending around $100 for overpriced food and drinks at Channelside, we came across Publix (Greenwise). We could buy food and drinks in the store, and sit in their cafe area, and eat/drink. We were there for 5 hours before getting in the never ending line to get on board. Thank you Publix for your hospitality.

Great location and the store is always spotless and well stocked. Staff is very friendly and efficient. They have a bigger selection than the other small Publix on Bayshore too. There is never a wait for checkout. Make sure to look for the BOGO deals!

I showed up at the deli counter around 930 Thursday evening and the sandwich station was surprisingly still open! The staff working the sandwich station were patient with all the late shoppers, friendly, and even went out of their way to cut some salami to add to my girlfriends sandwich. One of the other associates also walked around the store with me to help locate an item I wanted. Always a pleasure shopping at this store!

It’s a Publix. If you’ve been in Florida for more than a day you know that means this place is great, clean, and the staff is so friendly one of the stock men even pushed my cart around for me while I was on piggy back and finished grocery shopping. I live in the area and I come here often, produce near fresh all day, bogo brings me back, and everyone else’s attitude 100%. BUT this guy named Gage, working in the deli, OOF the pace he goes at to make subs is like Flash from Zootopia. Someone asks for a simple sauce, he’s on a snail mission to glaze it on the sub as fast as you can finish your monthly grocery shopping. No hate, probably a genuine guy, but to put him on sub is asking for a line as long as a new ride opening.

I had never been to this particular store before, but there were a few surprises. I am a fan of Publix in general, and found the store to be clean, the employees friendly and the shelves well marked and well stocked. The parking is indoors and adjacent to the store and quite convenient. You would need an umbrella if it rained, as there is saying open area between the parking and the store proper, but there were clear skies the day I shopped. Overall a very pleasant shopping experience.

Normally I don't write reviews. This location is great for the most part. But the deli/sandwiches to go is consistently a problem and was yet again today. Looks like I'm not the only one who's experienced it. The sandwiches to go is always VERY busy and I always try to be respectful of their time (concise orders, etc.). Today it was super slow. But the 2 guys working happened to know the guy ordering 2 sandwiches. They must've put 1 ingredient on per minute, and then after each ingredient, they'd stop and look up and continue talking about each other's workout routines. So I finally just left. Even the lady waiting in the deli line looked at me like "are they serious?". I'm not someone to complain, but good God.

Great location for people working downtown. It's not a full size store so I'm not sure how well it works out for the folks that live downtown but it's great to have it within walking distance. The deli gets really busy at lunch time so you're best bet is to order your sub online and pick it up.

4 stars since 95% of the time, customer service is fantastic! Everyone is helpful and nice. Otherwise, the store is a bit smaller, limited inventory. Stock is a lot of organic and vegan options, which is nice. In the produce section, they are willing to break things into smaller packaging if you ask, which is nice. It's a solid addition to Channelside.

My wife fainted in this Publix and the staff was very concerned and helpful. Manager; Jeremy immediately asked an associate to get a bottle of Gatorade and a chair for her. She felt better so we refused an ambulance, but he get a wheelchair cart and checked on us 3 times to make sure we were ok. Publix and staff really do care about their customers. Thank you Publix for retaining talent.

On this particular day, I was getting some supplies for my job site. Alicia was a tremendous and the only reason for my three stars. Tara was a different story. She was reluctant to help me push my two carts to my car, but then she didn't even offer to help unload. Of course I would of denied, but she really didn't care about me at all. In the future, better customer service would be appreciated.

This Publix has everything I needed in stock and it was quite clean. They also have free electric vehicle charging for their patrons. They also have the cute little half cart buggies here since you’re probably going to need to fit it in the elevator instead of trying to get it up the stairs!

I'm a Canadian, Publix is new to me. While the store is definitely convenient, offering everything you'd expect from a large department store, the layout is strange and the prices aren't overly amazing. I'm just stuck wondering why there's a massive insecticide display with the chocolate and crackers. It's convenient, and somewhere I've shopped a few times during my short 5 week stay here, but not something I'd frequent if it weren't so close.

Publix was a neat experience! We were excited about the parking garage and taking the elevator into the store! They had a very nice selection of foods; however, the prices were higher than they are in central Illinois. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A super nice guy even came to the car with us to take the scooter back up that my Mom used to unload groceries.

this publix really is the best publix in tampa no doubt!!! my bf and i wanted sushi but they didn’t have the exact one we came for. we’d usually risk it but with him having become lactose intolerant we just couldn’t eat anything with cream cheese, which most sushi products have. we ended up asking the worker (small woman, looked filipino) to help us out and she actually offered to make the exact sushi we wanted. she was helpful and asked us multiple times about our order to make sure everything would turn out correctly. she was also extremely sweet. would return just to see her! i attached a picture of the sushi trays she so kindly made for us. thank you publix and thank you to that amazing worker who helped us out! you made my day!

It's a Publix, so that's what you get. It's smaller than most as it's a city Publix. You park on the roof and take the stairs/elevator down. And, just like all Publix, the staff is friendly, but the sub station and deli have incredibly slow service. You'd think a giant organization like Publix would figure out how to address this weakness in their operation. The line backs up and blocks the first aisle of the store all the time. Get your act together Publix!

These people are so wonderful!!! Went to the store late. I had an entire cart of groceries, put it all on the conveyor belt and realized I left all my cards at home!!! I felt so bad telling them that I couldn’t get my partially bagged items. Went home and decided to go back just to see if they hadn’t put everything back and hopefully save them from having to do so. Oh boy they move quick!!! 🤣🤣🤣 They had put everything back but offered to help me find everything I had in my cart before. I wasn’t going to put them through that especially bc it was my fault that I left my money at home! But I did grab some wings and Hawaiian bread for the kiddos and told them I’ll be back early tomorrow!!! A unique urban location where the parking problem was solved by putting it on the roof. Pedestrian friendly for all the apartments in the neighborhood but with ample parking in the parking garage above. Like all Publix super friendly and helpful.

Great immaculate two level location reminds me of Publix in Palm Beach Gardens. Waiting on the one to open in Lakeland. Free Garage parking is a nice bonus. Convenient location near Amalie Arena and Port of Tampa Exit on I-4.

There are constantly expired items on the shelf. I’ve noticed it mostly in the refrigerated and frozen sections. This has happened to me on several occasions throughout the past year. Make sure you check expiration dates when shopping at this Publix.

I know that this compliment will probably go to a corporate office and this person would probably not be recognized. I understand you guys have so many employees and you probably have a lot of great employees. But you have one phenomenal employee at Publix Channelside Club on East Twiggs Street in Tampa. Travis which is a cart collector and a greeter has tremendous customer service skills. He is such a pleasant person, he's a smiling person, he's not just an employee he is very special. Me and my children were able to have an encounter with him a few weeks ago and he definitely left a lasting impression on us. Simply by a small trip to the grocery store this man completely made our day. His kind words in conversation taught my children a very valuable lesson. And I don't shop at Publix very often because you guys are so expensive but I would go back to this Publix a hundred times just to have an encounter with Travis. This employee should definitely be recognized for his courteous, kind, spectacular incredibly great customer service skills. I hope that this compliment doesn't go unrecognized and someone can give Travis the recognition that he deserves. I always have a great experience here, everyone is so friendly and attentive! I literally go 3 times a week because I hate planning my meals ahead of time and love spending my time at Publix, honestly. Today my experience was made exceptionally great because of Eric in the deli. He is SO helpful and his up beat energy is truly contagious! I was just going to buy a few wings, I wanted all flats. He went out of his way to make sure that happened. He also talked me into getting a meal and his side recommendations are fantastic. He was so eager to help me decide what today’s dinner would be and seemed so genuinely happy to help! It’s hard to find people like that, he should be the employee of the month. Thank you, Eric!

Brand new, so of course very nice, though perhaps somewhat limited on account of space. I frequent this location because I live near it, but I think I might go out of my way to it anyhow, because the staff at this Publix may be the friendliest and most helpful I've encountered anywhere. Chris in particular, who tends to be in the deli section, has been notably welcoming and always appears to go above and beyond to provide quality customer service, as do the majority of them back there and throughout the store. I believe this sort of thing likely and unfortunately goes unnoticed or underappreciated all too often, so I hope they get the recognition they deserve 👍

I can't begin to describe how much I LOVE the Publix at Channel Club.....But I wish you wouldn't reduce the amount of workers at the deli session at night. I waited over 25 minutes twice in line for a sub this week, both around 7:30-8pm. Same happened about a week ago. I originally went to the Publix on Busch Boulevard at 56th Street in Temple Terrace and the people that work there are very rude and the meat cutters don't wear plastic gloves and is very unsanitary so I went over to Publix at Channelside where everything is perfect wonderful people work there very clean and sanitary employees as well as the store so if you really want to have a good experience visit the Publix Super Market at Channel Club

It's good to see another Publix in the downtown area that isn't the small location on Platt St. The first time visiting this Publix was a bit confusing first how to get to parking was a little difficult at first but finally made it. The store was clean and looked organized and the staff was friendly so no big complaints and prices are what they normally are at all the locations in the area.

I love Publix! This new location is great and in such close proximity to my work! The grand opening was awesome and in true Publix form employees look happy and are very courteous and friendly. My only gripe with this store is the produce. 2 weeks ago I bought Bogo bags of those Fresh Express chopped salad kits- both were bad well before the expiration date. When I opened the first bag I thought it looked a little off and I tried putting it together and had to dump my salad. I went to look at the second bag in the fridge and it was in the same state as the one I threw out. I get these exact same bags of salad on a weekly basis from any of the 3 Publix locations in close proximity to my home in South Tampa and have never had this issue, in some cases the salads are still good a day or 2 after the expiration date. Fast forward to this week, I purchased a bunch of bananas on Wednesday - they looked perfectly yellow on the outside- in fact they looked like they needed more time before eating. Well the next day my partner goes to grab one to take to work with him and the perfectly yellow banana feels like mush. I am not quite sure how that is even possible, the skin looked perfectly unharmed but inside it felt like one of those squishy toys. We ended up dumping 3 of the 5 bananas in that bunch. I grabbed one of the "good bananas" and brought it to work with me and half of it was inedible despite looking perfectly ok. I figured I got a bad batch- in the trash they go. I just walked over to the same Publix again to get a new bunch of bananas to bring home and sure enough it wasn't me and my bunch! They have bananas sitting out that look perfectly yellow with a hint of green and when you touch them lightly or try to hold one it is like a squishy toy. I managed to find a small bunch that feel sturdy and I am hoping not to get burned again. I notified my cashier who suggested I got a bad bunch, I explained I thought the same thing but found that they still have bad ones on display. She asked if I wanted to talk to customer service about a refund, I graciously let her know I was ok and just wanted to notify them and purchase my new bananas. Make sure you double, triple, quadruple check your produce before purchase, or maybe just avoid produce at this Publix till they figure it out. I don't even know how it is possible for this to happen to a banana?!?!?!? Someone at my office suggested maybe they were frozen. I have no idea! How can a banana that looks perfectly fine on the outside look like this inside? *see photo*

Brand new Publix at downtown Channelside area in Tampa. They are introducing a lot of new Publix services and changes here, such as ordering deli meats cut using a chart that displays typical slice thicknesses (no more saying "the thickness of my pinkie" and hoping you get a #5 thickness per the new chart). There is an adjoining parking garage with areas for free parking for Publix customers. It's an 11 minute walk from County Government Center. Everyone working there is fresh and new and enthusiastic; hope they stay that way!

I had ordered a cake from the bakery days before I needed it I was to pick it up at 6pm I arrived and found out they didn't even make it so they called the manager and yes he came back and baked it I waited over an hour for it then they only gave me a discount on the decorations I got home around 730 still had to cook and help my daughter with homework and give her a shower let's just say I was not pleased with the service and I was offended that they didn't offer more then they did I dont think I will be shopping at this publix
