Quick and easy place to shop, a few good deals on the shelf, and some other good pre prepared food options as well. Lots of chicken selection, sushi, salads, and baked goods too. Not a HUGE Publix store like some of the Big box ones found in other towns, but has what you need. Thanks!

I started going to this location back on 2006. I loved the deli and bakery. This last year the deli been slipping a lot. Messed up orders. Orders placed online never made now I have to wait there for it. What's the whole point of ordering online. Also ordering subs online sucks now. They don't make en with love anymore.

For over 40 years the great employees have been cordial, helpful, caring and the best thing is my Mother, you couldn't take her for shopping any other place. My Mother love the store and specially the pharmacy staff that was there 20 years or so. After she passed away, I went to the store and when I gave them the not so good news, the 3 young ladies couldn't stop crying. When I took her one shopping; I couldn't find the manager, so I called him to thank him and all his staff. I very rarely leave my and my brother gets my my meds and were ever else I need. He personality is the type that complains about everything; except for Publix. I rather pay a little more, but you guys treated like she was a queen. One of the worst Publix stores in the area. Store doesn't seem as clean as others. Narrow and disorganized. Witnessed deli manager Miranda rudely speak to subordinates in front of customers when they told someone they didn't have cuban bread.

I only go to this store for ice cream. Lol Because it's the closest one to me. But in general this is a clean, well stocked, and easy to get through the isles. Some of the customers though ??? You know the one's... But this location is much smaller than most other Publix. We went to this location on 10/8. We got a lb of the popcorn chicken and the made in store coleslaw and a loaf of bake in store bread. It was fabulous and the deli food display was eye popping 😋!

This Publix is always easy to get in and out unfortunately went over the weekend and everybody is assuming the storm is hitting us directly and it was impossible to park and of course it was overly crowded but normally the story is very clean and very friendly staff

Publix is the best place to shop in Florida hands down. Deli dept. has so many different things to choose from that each one is so delicious that it is hard to not want all the egg salads or potato salads or just different types of salads already prepared, there is a chicken salad in the deli area already made up but not quite sure the name of it, I just know it when I see it & OMGness put it on the Hawaiian sweet roll & it don't get no than that. & for the most time every Publix you go in the staff is always so friendly & helpful. & I say for the most time because over the 27 years in Florida there has been a handful of times that either the meat cutters or a pharmacy tech has just been having a bad day. They also have an amazing bakery that seems to have angels baking their cakes or donuts, cookies & fresh bread daily. Prices are steep sometime on items but they also have a lot of great deals on everyday items. The item shown is the Publix Granola, eaten dry or in milk or on top of yogurt or ice cream, this is a great treat added to your day.

Excellent! This is a small neighborhood store but everyone was friendly today and had on masks. I needed items broken down and they were sold individually. The prices are a tad bit high, however, they have BOGOs on a weekly basis and that makes shopping there affordable.

This is a nice Publix location. It’s easy to find what you’re looking for, in a really clean and well staffed store. Checkout was super fast and easy with no lines at the time we arrived. We were very pleased that the shelves were fully stocked and more than adequate Parking. I rate it 4 stars because if the lack of cart corrals. It’s a very large parking lot. Not everyone gets to park right in front of the store. They need to put them in front of the other stores in the strip as well.

I came in at 10 trying to accomplish a last minute catering lunch order, and Miranda from the deli was incredible to help me figure out how to fill it and then knocked out all of the sandwiches insanely fast and well. She was professional, kind, and smart. Additionally, she continued to guide the trainee who was helping other customers, and apologizing to the few waiting the short maybe 10 minutes while she knocked out all of my sandwiches. PUBLIX YOU BETTER GIVE HER A RAISE OR BONUS OR SOMETHING SHE DESERVES IT!!!

This is my home Publix so I may be a little bit biased since I'm in there quite often, but I tend to think the employees there are just extremely courteous to everyone. I never used to shop at Publix because of the prices. Once I started getting into couponing and using the sales at Publix that are going on all the time I've been patronizing them much more frequently. I have spent more time there so now that I live around the corner I pretty much do all of my business there. I mean, I don't think there is any minor household item or issue that you can't fix with a quick trip to Publix and while you're there, you can have dinner made for your family so you don't have to worry about it. The bakery is amazing and I fell in love with fruit tarts all over again. I am so grateful that I found them at this Publix store and I hope others enjoy them as well because I plan on coming back for more and more over a long fruit tart filled life. Probably the most important thing they did for me as a chronically ill person who has had to be very weary of this pandemic, was vaccinating me all three times over the last year or two since the vaccines rolled out. Not only that but you hardly have to enter the store where the germs are and they keep you away from the other customers going aboit their business so it made me feel safer being socially distanced. The pharmacies across America will tell you they're struggling right along with healthcare workers in the hospitals and people would scoff, I've seen it with my own eyes. These pharmacists and pharmacy techs (idk if that's the right name) have worked thru the entire pandemic to get me and countless others their lifesaving medications; most of them short staffed as people buckle from the pressure and quit. I admit that my initial vaccine anxiety had me shook and I was probably overbearing and had tons of questions about interactions with my specific disease which she graciously answered and helped put me at ease. Then after that came the health anxiety which can be absolutely crippling and I was on the phone with the pharmacist every other day probably for a week at least. I know that had to have been frustrating, but again I have never even got so much of a negative attitude from the pharmacy workers; despite dealing with a lot of other people's not so great qualities, including my own at times I'm sure. Through all of this that is going on now, and what they've been througj with others you would assume they'd be a bit jaded towards needy patients. But no matter the situation they've treated me with nothing but kindness and understanding. Including them calming my health & vaxx anxiety, but even when I dropped my freshly signed vaxx card while rushing out of the store they called me to let me know they would hold onto it until I came in when I could. Any Publix employee I've ever encountered has been great, super polite and will always go above and beyond if they can help the customer. But the pharmacy has truly earned a place in my heart and my utmost respect for how they treat their patients and customers. Thanks again for dealing with so much during a pandemic and keeping such a calm and kind demeanor, it doesn't go unnoticed in this crazy world we live in. And a HUGE thank you to the pharmacy for saving this for me last year, idk what I would have done to get another vaccine card and I wasn't looking for more shots, lol.

Even though this is an older Publix and a lot smaller than most locations, it is a favorite. The staff are friendly and helpful. They don't carry the vast selection of the newer, larger Publix but I always find what I need and am in and out quickly.

After recieving a call at 7:30am this morning for a 10am pickup that the speciality cupcakes I ordered on Tuesday were not going to be available, without so much as an apology, I went to pick up the cake I ordered to go with them. The decorator left off the message that was specified on the order. After the sweet girl that was helping me fixed it for me and fixed an error on the decorating I verified with her that the cake had the filling I requested. The decorator snapped at me that if it was on the order sheet it was done...well if that was the case wouldn't the message have been on the cake then. Also, why wait until the morning of to let me know they couldn't make the cupcakes. Very rude decorator and not what I expect from Publix.

There are plenty of Publix stores to choose from in general here in Florida and this one is not only right around the corner from my house, but it's the BEST one (okay I may be a bit biased). I have a digestive disease called gastroparesis and they have done so much for me through everything. From the people in the deli and bakery who are willing to work with me around dietary restrictions, to the pharmacy techs and pharmacist who vaccinated me against COVID-19, they have all been exceptional at dealing with me. Things can be a bit more expensive but the cleanliness of the store, the attitudes of the employees and the people who are willing to go above and beyond to help me when I need it are the reasons I keep going back!

It is a smaller publix so the aisles are shorter and wonky and the ends of them because of the way they have to have this location laid out. This location is half the size of a regular store it seems and imo would possibly be a good option for a greenwise only location similar to the one in Soho ...it couldn't hurt... Although this store always seems so busy. It's either become a greenwise only store or find a bigger piece of land and build a bigger store for that area and more south ....or just keep it just the way that it is ... (what do I know 🤷‍♂️)

Though it's the smallest store Punlix has. This store is awesome. Walked in today for Super Bowl food and let me tell you, they were on point. Chips, even the Scoops by Tostitos which have supply problems, they have. Corona, Yuengling, the new Bud Nect beers along with game day snacks. My goodness this little store looks better stocked than some of the big stores. Dips, Frozen Pizza they have everything.!!!

Update: spoke with the store manager Greg. He was apologetic and empathetic. He offered me my next cookie cake free. Although I probably won't utilize it I appreciate him making it right by offering. This is more like the Publix I know and love! I called to place an order for a cookie cake and the person I was speaking with did not understand me. She placed me on hold 3 times without warning. She said it'd be better if I placed it online. I called to confirm they understood what I wanted and they asked what time I needed it by.. I said 10AM the following day. I got there at 10:30 to pick it up and they said the cookie hadn't even been cooked yet and that the order said 12. My party was at 12 but they didn't give me any other option. I then came back to pick it up at 12 and they told me it wasnt ready yet and it was still cooling. They iced it a few minutes later and the design I asked for was not centered. I wasn't happy with the outcome, nor the tardiness. I didn't ask to have it fixed because I was already late to my event. I usually love publix but this was an overall disappointing experience.

The employees are the best thing about this Publix. Some of the staff who have been there for many years are a joy to speak with. That being said, this Publix is small, so there selection is not the best. It seems like they lag behind on offering more vegetarian and vegan friendly foods, as well as non-dairy products.

Love this neighborhood Publix. Employees are friendly and always willing to help. The only complaint is that their organic produce is very limited and sometime wilted. They have floor markets for social distancing and a sanitizing station so you can wipe down your cart and hands.

This Publix has a weird layout. The entrance is way to crowded with carts and the instacart ordering area. Once you get in then the aisle to pay the bakery section has table blocking the way. It’s just overwhelming to initially get into the store. Besides that, it’s a standard Publix.

Small Publix store in the Old Carrollwood area. The original Publix for the area. It has many employees that have working there for years. Friendly and always willing and available to help. It still has all or most of the items you would find in a larger store. It also contains a fairly new pharmacy. My first choice for shopping even though it is a little bit further than a larger store.

Very clean store. It's is a small store so there are not as many choices as in other Publix stores, or Winn Dixie. Same prices as other local Publix which I find a smidge higher than my Winn Dixie. However, this Publix has items Winn Dixie does not carry. I will continue to shop here when it is convenient, as it was for this trip.

It's a smaller Publix, so it doesn't have a wide variety of options. It doesn't have everything you can get at a bigger Publix or bigger grocery store. The prices seem to be a littler higher than a bigger Publix as well. So if you just want to grab something quickly and not go into a big store, then it's good.

Been going to this Publix for years. I actually like the fact that it’s a smaller store. Easy in, easy out, never an issue finding parking, employees are consistent and friendly. They finally managed to find space to add a pharmacy which is great. Even better since my company is eliminating Walgreens from our pharmacy network starting January 1.

This farmer's market holds everything I want, shopping and eating (who doesn't?) I can choose from a range of varieties of crafts, clothes, coffee, fruits, fresh veggies and meats, and delicious baked cookies and goodies! They even had fresh herbs and beautiful flowers. They also had numerous food stands to cater to our cravings and our lunch.

Do not go around lunch time. Parking area is a bit hectic. Last time I was here I ordered a sub online to pick up at 12:15, and having only limited time for lunch and had to go back to the office. Got there, there was a huge line for subs and mine which I had ordered ahead was not ready till 10 minutes after the time I set to pick it up. employees were scattered and did not have a sense of organization. My husband is not really a sentimental man. He watched as an employee helped an elderly lady find everything on her shopping list. He held her basket and took her around the store. "That's why THIS is my grocery store" is what my husband said to me. We love the friendly neighborhood feel of the employees, many of whom have known my family for years! The staff at this Publix is so friendly and courteous! They will drop whatever they're doing to find out an answer to your question. I'm taking off a star only because it's a slightly smaller store, so the selections are a little limited compared to larger Publixes (particularly the produce and bakery sections).

I've been in Tampa since 1955 - tried all the supermarkets, even those where you Save-A-lot. Publix, with it's BOGO sales is the winner by far. Some stores smell like garbage, soon as you come in the door. Publix smells like fresh baked goods. The store is always clean. The personnel are never 'too busy' to help you find just the right item. Personnel are always presentable, cheerful and helpful. Mr.Jenkins (founder) had the right idea from the beginning.

Great bakery, deli, fish and meat counters are well stocked and offer a wide range of delectibles. But the real plus are the employees....always friendly, helpful and pleasant to interact with.

There meat manger is not the best. No since of urgency! As for the BAKERY, since they remodel it is HORRIBLE, you can not see any of the employees if there are any, the only person you can see is the cake decorator while they are working so they have to be interrupted to get another person to assist.

The store setup is not the best. I understand they are working with a spacer square footage then most stores. I almost died in the deli & I was the only person there. I only ordered 3 small items. I'm not sure the employees know how to deal with complications when they arise.

It's about time, everyone seems to be taking this grown a virus things seriously, And this store is making announcements over the loud speaker regarding social distancing end to wear masks - this is different than in Home depot which never mentions anything about masks... But they both announce to maintain social distancing and home depot limits the count to 100 customers - I've never seen anything specific in Publix but they do have one way shopping aisles...

This location is very small, walk in walk oh wait I need something from the frozen food section! Nooo it's not here oh well let's head over to Walmart! My bad, but that's my experience every time I go there! I have to give it up to the Bakery 100%, it's nice to ask them to make something and as you shop the store it's being baked! Grab the Bagels you asked for before you started shopping then grab them fresh and warm on your way out! Baller, 4 stars in my book!
