Any Publix is fabulous. However this location seems to really take that extra step in helping customers. I'm always trying to find something but I don't have to walk around aimlessly without an employee asking to assist me The bakery and deli department is so amazing with their customer service. Yes I go get my free cookie while I'm there. I need the sugar to complete my grocery shopping!

I always like the quality of vegetables and meat at Publix. Another great thing about Publix is that they clearly mark everything as too whether it comes from the USA. The employees are friendly and helpful. My reasons for the four star review are price and store layout. Publix prices are far above what they should be for a company with their buying power. With inflation hitting so hard, every penny counts. The store layout is very inconsistent between locations. It causes me to bother an employee too often. Regardless, Publix is so much better than Walmart in every aspect, but prices.

I was in Publix picking up a few items for a dinner party. Asking the Deli Manager a few questions regarding the difference in prosciuttos and pairing with wine. Next thing I know is I'm waking up in the middle stall floor of the bathroom, side bandage up and missing a kidney. I will say Publix has the cleanest public Bathrooms I've ever seen and has great deli meats and wine selections. Hats off to Tammy for sending me home with an Ice Pack!

Well stocked and perfect location for the store. You have access to other shops and even fast food. They do have in the same parking lot EV charge ports so it greatly help to keep your charge up. The registers do get busy so expect a wait if you are going there to shop.

As always, shopping at Publix makes grocery shopping enjoyable. The employees are always smiling, friendly, and eager to help you. The selection and quality of food is top-notch and their prices are a good deal (especially when they have bogo!). I'm also so glad they ripped up those ridiculous directional floor stickers and ditched the completely useless, theatrical mask requirement.

Publix is great but a bit pricy. Decent meats, fish and deli. Checkout is usually quick as some clerks realize I have to take a bus as I'm 3/4 blind with red tip cane and on a tight schedule.

I've been shopping at Publix since I was a kid. They have great produce, good meat selection, everything you could want. I love the deli and the bakery, too (Tuscan garlic bread! Blueberry pie!). Price comparisons with other grocery stores are always good. Friendly, helpful employees, too. And you have to love the BOGO deals. New sale items on Thursdays. If you haven't checked their website, you should. Their shopping list application is the best I've seen.

This is my original Publix when I first moved to Tampa from Alexandria, VA back in 2007. Even though the Gandy one was closer, it seems like I shopped your most. Always enjoy this store. I go to the Britton Plaza store and things are on a down turn. Today there were only two cashiers with the rest being self check out, and the lines were not good. Plus the department managers don't greet the customers anymore. I needed help in the meat department and the associate was slightly noticeably annoyed at having to stop what he was doing to help me (which he was able to) I'm used to friendly helpful happy staff in Publix. Hmmm

By far the best Publix in south Tampa. Right when you walk in it feels happy and employees seem happy and willing to help. The supervisors here are so much better than the old store! General manager is always smiling and she is friendly and when I special ordered an item The other supervisor was super nice. I still do wish they had an eat in cafe but only if it's not raining it's nice to sit outside at tables. Only problem is when it rains, I get wet instead of awning covering me. Just love the store and they always have what I want and seem happy to be at work. Thanks for redoing it.

Publix staff is always helpful and friendly. They go the extra mile. Try even finding an employee at Walmart, much less one who would check in the back, or escort you to an aisle. I shop the BOGOs and specials to stock up on items I keep on hand. Many employees stay at their jobs for years, and that speaks volumes. Pharmacy is also amazing. It’s always nice to be greeted by name knowing they have hundreds of customers. Thanks always for a clean, organized, friendly place for this cook to shop.

Sure it's not as fancy as the new Commons store. And yes, it's a bit farther than the Gandy/Himes store. But there's one thing that it has over both the other stores. The happiest, most courteous staff. And for this reason I always return.

Always a spot to park and friendliest managers of any Publix I shop. Store Manager even bought my groceries when I left my card at home and said to pay it forward. Always smiling faces and nice employees. The deli department could be faster and a little more friendly but no one is perfect. Thank you Maria and Steve for always taking care of me and my daughter.

Terrific store excellent selection a lot better laid out then other Publix that I have been too. Many of them are congested. This one is not and it's really easy to find things. This one has Singleton 22-oz cans of beer which a lot of Publix don't hope this helps people reading this.

I'm here at Publix. we had a Mother's Day extravaganza. we were selling colorful donuts for the mother's day promotion. we were letting the kids decorate them they were all nice and pretty. they did a good job way to go little Publix's M&M's. I had a good time with the kids. Some of the parents help the kids decorate. Hopefully next year we will have cupcakes for the kids. because that's what they were asking. can they decorate cupcakes. I think that would be a good idea. happy painting

I wish every store was run by the Publix model. Clean, well supplied, beautifullt displayed products and the best customer service I experience every time I visit. I tallied the savings on the free medications I receive each year and it was over $150.00. That's $ in my pocket! I am handicapped and the electric carts are always clean & charged. These are not small things when compared to other stores...it speaks to good management and well trained employees. Publix does make shopping a pleasure.

This is a great Publix. It's very clean, always well stocked & friendly employees. The only downside to this Publix is that there are often sketchy men in the parking lot ( I think because there is a very large bus stop here.) I've had several experiences where I was slightly afraid going to or from my car because of someone acting crazy in the parking lot. Not a great feeling for a woman going into the supermarket either alone or with her kids. But other than that, this is a good Publix.

I must come here at least 3 times a week between shopping for the family I nanny for, picking up prescriptions, and getting groceries for my own family. The people are always kind, friendly, and always helpful. The little 2 year old I nanny for has type 1 diabetes and sometimes is having a rough day but we must still get the groceries and there is always someone who goes out of their way to stop stocking shelves, bagging groceries, or checking us out to get him a little balloon or a sticker. Those are the little things that keep me coming back. Everyone knows us there and says hi and is patient with us on our "not so good days". Thank you for always going the extra mile and always having the kindest people working your store. It is greatly appreciated and it doesn't go unnoticed 😊👏👏👌

Bagger overstuffed my bags. My chips were crushed when I got home as well as my bread being smashed. I had to use a bag i had in the car to double bag as the bag was stuffed and heavy. I think the baggers can use a little instruction in how to better bag.

Seems like everyone truly loves their job and will go out of thier way to help you from going in for one item to grabbing a shopping cart because that one item became one too many. The employees happiness even spreads to their customers because they are even willing to help because they are happy to be there. One thing about Publix I am questionable about their happiness is when they are waiting in a long line to checkout, which happens when you go to a store with this much love. Long lines just give me a reason to peer at their end caps and see a BOGO item I "forgot" ;) and get out of line to get it. Now that is indoubtably a good reason to "not mind" being in line...unless you have Häagen-Daz I've cream which you got at their BOGO special. But wait...their is a solution. Just don't buy it yet and wait till your finally ready to be checked out and act upset you forgot your ice cream and the service bagger will happily skip to get your ice cream. Just make sure you have enough items in your cart to warrant such a demand and MAKE SURE YOU ASK THE FAVOR RIGHT BEFORE THEY SCAN YOUR FIRST ITEM!!! All other frozen items can manage till you get home. Publixly loved since moving here in 2001.

This Publix is brand new, and a welcomed part of South Tampa. The new space is well laid out, brightly lit, and well staffed. Prices are much higher than Walmart or Trader Joe's, but the quality and quamtity of inventory is sometimes worth it.

I have had several issues with terrible new hires and the deli and and produce and it's just unacceptable period I don't know if it's just terrible hiring or terrible training but this is unacceptable for Publix standards and that is coming from a former employee with many years in this company.
