Reviews of Patel Brothers Indian Grocery
Great selection of Indian cooking ingredients. Spices, rice , chutney, naan bread, produce…. Nicely organized and busy with customers. Added this to my favorites since we like to cook Indian food at home.
Most of the items are up to date. Except few which are expired and still shelved. Personally picked 3 in one tea on many occasions and the expiry date is always in a month or two. I wish someone can take care of this and change it. Other stuff is easy to navigate and find. Good for indian groceries.
The best Indian store in Tampa. Can be very busy if you go at the wrong time, but things move pretty quick.
Vegetables quality varies seasonally. Whatever they can find on the market any given day.
Staff are very helpful.
One place to get all groceries.
Prices are increased now. Many masala items are expired and still they keeps them in shelves. Almost all indian vegetables available here.
Most of Indian products are available.
Good to have such grocery shop in Tampa.
Definitely place for desi groceries and fresh vegetables, the only thing is bit expensive compared to patel brothers in other cities like Dallas and Cincinati.. we used to live there and the prices here are more than compared to other cities .. other than that you get all required desi items and fresh vegetables every week.
Lots of good foods, fresh fruit, seafoods live Crabs, Asian Culture Delights, Good food's For Everybody! 👍♥️ …
After moving to Florida from NJ, the only thing i miss is the huge Indian Grocery Stores nearby.
So we thought of visiting Patel Brothers, planning on buying more Indian Groceries.
Definitely much more variety than the indian stores in St petes. I could see pretty much everything I required for that week or so.
Their staff was efficiently managing keeping things organizedand all tidy up. The checkout staff was pretty quick too.
The store is a tad bit small as the people with carts moving in every isle makes it a bit harder to move through swiftly and looks rather crowded, especially during weekends.
Checkout the pictures for more.
Everything is available here.
Make sure to check the expiry dates of products. Lines are little congested so sometimes it is difficult to carry the cart during rush hours.
Good selection of produced. Not as much as I've seen from other Indian restaurants in New York (I just moved down here). Cheaper or the same price compared to Publix.
All I can speak for is the produce, that's all I came here for.
Saturday morning busy, bustling market (but there's nothing you could want that they don't have); and truly broad spectrum frozen, nice veg, efficient cashiers. If you can find a Patel Bros, you've found everything Indian cooking needs!
Patel brothers is one of my favorite grocery store in Atlanta, GA. Love their loose snacks varieties, varieties of Indian vegetables, Indian groceries, masalas, and quality products. Clean and well maintained store.
Surprised to see so much varieties on frozen food and parathas. Frozen fish varieties are the best of all. I don’t get these in Seattle Indian grocery stores.
Patel brothers should open couple of branches in Seattle, Washington locations.
Good place for Indian products. Good exotic frozen food for college students and single people.
Hidden gem. It's crowded enough as it is I almost don't want it to get busier but... I can walk out with several bags of fresh vegetables for under $20. Plus I get my rice, nuts and spices there. If you're a foodie who likes experimenting with cooking at home it's a must. If you've always wanted to go to India but don't want to pay for a plane ticket... visit Patel's!
Prices are very high... indian vegetables in non Indian stores are cheaper and fresh than in Patel Brothers
A common name when it comes to buying Indian groceries, green veggies are fresh always and there are so many options to choose among different types of eatables. The place is jampacked during weekends.
I do find Patels has all the items which are recently manufactured, not all Indian groceries sell freshly imported frozen stuff like Naan, paratha, Kulchas etc.
Been to this store several times and each time I think things will be improved but of course not. They have a very wide variety which I appreciate but they are also more expensive than House of Spice.
The staff there is still cold and unfriendly. No smiles, no helpful gestures, even when they are not busy.
I was looking at the pooja items two visits ago and an employee of indian descent came in front of me, set up her ladder, and went on it to get something on a higher shelf. No manners or an "excuse me please" whatsoever, are you serious?? It wouldn't hurt for them to learn some basic customer service etiquette, the cashiers and other staff on the floor.
One more thing I can't grasp is that in mid 2022, they are still using the " sorry we are not accepting any returns because of Covid." Are you for real??
I will still shop there because they do have a wide selection, which you may not find in other places, though more expensive.
Nice place to get all groceries and Indian stuff at good price.
One of the most popular Indian Grocery Store in Tampa area.
This store has lots of choices. Only if store was Double the size.
It is very small in size.
It was good they just didn't have what I wanted.
Good place fr indian groceries. You can get all kind of indian stuff.
Good selection of produce and products from India. Only wish it was bigger for even more selection
Great place for Desi Grocery. They have raised prices though.
Good selection of Indian food staples and produce.
If the aisles were just a little wider than this would be the perfect Eastern Indian Grocery Store around! It still is probably the best around but I had to dock a star for the narrow aisles. Still love this place though! They have an amazing variety of Indian vegetables, snacks, pickles and many other items that are normally exclusive to the subcontinent of India. I highly recommend the good ol' Patel brothers!
They had beautiful vegetables an Iove the way easy in an out
Ok kind of grocery. Vegetables and snacks were not fresh.
Stopped with my wife at this very busy store and the thing I like most from what she got is that pure wheat tortillas (although it is not a Mexican place these taste great)
One roof to find all Asian food but most of the frozen food I bought were defrosted
Please check expiry as some food are way close to expiry
All things Indian are there at this store. All the India dry foods, ready to eat food and even Indian vegetables, dhai, paneer, sweets are there. I will like to see the store offer a fresh section for hot samosa and chai.
My go to place for Indian spices and groceries. Love the selection of ready to eat Indian snacks and desserts that they carry. They pretty much have everything you would need in an Indian kitchen.
It's a great place. you must go and visit. it's not the best. but you can learn a whole lot. don't judge the book by its cover. there's alot in there that you can get.
I love this place. The produce is always high quality and better prices than other grocery stores. They have an amazing selection of frozen Indian food, especially truly vegetarian foods. And the spice and tea sections are amazing - excellent quality and a huge variety. Finding European chocolate at the checkout is always a nice touch.
Though lines are narrow and place small, we got all Indian groceries here. Found more variety of veggies here comparatively any other store in Tampa.
A no-brainer if you're cooking Indian food. Great selection of raw ingredients, and a robust assortment of pre-prepared foods (e.g. samosas, chutneys). The produce is noticeably cheaper than traditional grocery stores, but I wouldn't say the selection is as wide. The spices are sold in large quantities but are affordable. I've gotten a lot of help from fellow shoppers when stuck on what to buy and/or how to use a particular item. The shopping experience is a bit like a mini-trip to India. I always enjoy it.
Metro by mobile Gio and Manny were a great help with my new cellphone. Very polite and know what customers need. Very helpful and considerate. They care each person has what they need without any questions.
Good selection of grocery and vegetables but very cramped. Isles are too narrow. Impossible to move without bumping onto other customers. On top of it customers do not adhere to mask use. Not a safe atmosphere during the pandemic.
Worth the trip no matter where in the surrounding area you are. Fresh produce, variety of Indian goods and friendly and helpful store personnel. We’ve tried stores closer to where we stay but its really better just to head to Patel Brothers and get everything. Thumbs up !
I really enjoy shopping here. There's a great selection of Indian herbs, treats, frozen goods, Ayurvedic supplies, and real incense. I love that there's fresh ginger & turmeric. I always have a pleasant experience and the prices are reasonable.
Good stuff not so clean
Great selection of items from vegetables to puja supplies
Always have all my west Indian needs and more.
Always find my stuff and love their weekly sale on seasonal vegetables
They have everything you need to do your Indian cooking and more items like cooking utensils and some soaps, shampoos, lotions , etc., and of course insence. Good selection of frozen item. Everything priced reasonably for a US Indian store. Also nice produce.
Incredible selection as always. Only helpful staff.
Good Indian grocery store. Specialy for Gujrati. Price is little higher. Need to keep average.
GOOD VARIETY OF VEGETABLES GROCERIES OF ASIAN ORIGIN , OBEDIENT STAFF AND NEAT & CLEAN ATMOSPHERE
Best place for your Indian grocery needs
What a great experience I had at this store. They were very well stocked, and Had everything I was looking for including cook ware. They had lots of fresh produce, and the store was impeccably clean. But, most of all was how friendly and helpful they were. I will go there for all my Indian Cooking needs, from now on. .
Have ti buy only what I need too costly. Got to be caustius to make both ends meet
We prefer this grocery store over others in the Tampa area
Great location and large fresh and frozen food variety’s !!
Good Indian Groceries store, better than any other Indian groceries store for quality of the product. Vegetable seems to be fresh, but today it was not fresh. So you have get lucky day for vegetable. Staffs are good and helpful. But they will not able clarify if some product missing EXPIRY date.
The staff here helps you with what you need , overall good experience
You can find all the best quality Indian groceries in this store. I have been to almost all the Indian stores in Tampa and by far this is the best one with best brands, most availability and good prices too. That is why it is almost always crowded. It is worth going to this store every time. There are just 2 problems. There is a chlorine bleach smell in the store many times I visited and the aisles are very narrow
Always seems to be completely packed, and I'll tell you why. They have the best overall selection of ethnic foods and supplies out of anywhere local I know of personally. You'll definitely end up finding stuff you didn't even know you wanted here. Veggies are always fresh and excellent. Spices are widely varied. Lines move quickly even at peak hours.
I LOVE the array of spices here! Also, the fresh veggies and fruit are beautiful and health-promoting. I have found many types of rice & legumes not seen in regular grocery stores. :-) I am thrilled by the vegan & vegetarian selections. A small store, but packed with flavorful food! I recommend it highly to my friends & family. Prices are not too bad, either.
Awesome frozen Indian food selection and lots of snacks
My mom likes it here for the great deals on produce and Indian grocery. They also have regular sales and deals, and offer wholesale discount if you buy in bulk. They do sometimes have quantity limits for an item if it's on sale, and I'm sure it's mainly to prevent people from clearing out the shelves when there are sales. The staff isn't the nicest bunch, but there are a few people who are willing to help out and help you find the items you need. The aisles are narrow and get very crowded. I'm sure that's fine for other regions of the U.S. but us Floridians are not used to that.
This place is known for Indian groceries you get all your stuff . Vegetables and snacks are very fresh. This place would have been more efficient if we had a lil bigger space... They speak both English as well as Indian languages which makes a bit more comfertable place for elderly people joining with us. The frozen foods are good here. Actively check the expiry dates on your purchase as you might land up buying some grocery which is about to expire very soon. All and all my experience is good in this stores..
A wide selection of Indian products, but the cleanliness of the floors could definitely improve. It feels a little shabby, but entirely respectable. I love to buy my lentils, chickpeas, and tea from here as they are affordable and of great quality.
Fast billing but the place is very congested for shopping with the cart. You may end up hitting other cart while shopping.
Aisle after aisle of Indian/Pakistani food! Fresh fruits and vegetables are offered, many of which are not available in American supermarkets, but which complete your curry or other Indian meal. Prices are very reasonable. Aisles are a little narrow because there are always so many shoppers! No fresh meat or fish.
A very well maintained and always stocked Indian grocery marketplace. Along with fresh veggies and daily essentials, the store also offers many more products. The staff is polite and very helpful as well.
I like the variety of items but many times I feel the prices are high. Yes it's mostly imported items and that raises cost sometimes, but just seems like pricing could be more competitive. The coconuts are not very good... I like the spices, frozen coconut and large bags of flours and rice.
Good for Indian food and groceries. Price is going too high. Compare the price with other Indian shops.
First visit from Indiana! Delicious meal, great tasting boil bag seafood! Cant wait to visit again! Our waitress was also very accomodating! Thanks!
The place is compact and crowded most of the time. Asian food ingredients and related items can be bought from here. Veggies are of good quality and the price is very competitive. But not the best place to buy fruits. Staff is friendly and helpful. Indian, Sri Lankan, Bangladeshi and many related items are available. Altogether a good place.
Indian grocery store, usual with added southeast options
Great selection and outstanding friendly service from their staff and owners.
A very enjoyable visit discovering ingredients, and ready made recipes and sweet delights. I'm very pleased Tampa has a store this size with such a great variety from a traditional Indian selection.
Also i was very pleased to shop in a well lit and clean store with very affordable prices.
Thanks Patel Brothers for bringing a great selection of products allowing non-Indian customers -like myself- to expand our gastronomic, and general knowledge.
Two thumbs Up👍👍!
This place is fun! There is a huge assortment of different Indian and Asian food, including excelletnt produce selection and prices.
I often stop in to grab some of their snacks in the bulk section. These are very well-priced and delicious.
They have so many different spices, seasonings, and powders (e.g. curry, and so many others I haven't tried) that you could make a thousands of unique meals with the ingredients in this store.
One of the biggest Indian grocery stores around. They will have everything you need in the groceries section of your kitchen.
Everything they sell seem to be of good quality and the pricing seems ok as well.
Heard they do clearance sales (up to 50%) during festive times like Holi and Diwali, which could be a good time to stock up things you want.
Overcrowded Indian Grocery store with very narrow aisle, based on the amount of business this place does they can have a store double the size. Try alternative Indian grocery store near by where you will vet the same products with a better shopping experience...
Although it was Very clean , the worker's week not friendly at all to me or my friend. It seemed as if they did not want us to shop there. But I loved the store and the food frozen ethnic food I bought was very tasty and I plan on going back again and have them stare at me again. Yummy!
Probably the best Indian store in Tampa and I have been to a few. Can be very busy if you go at the wrong time, but things move pretty quick. Vegetables quality varies seasonally. Whatever they can find on the market any given day. Folks are very helpful.
I love Indian Food and decided to try making some on my own so visited Patel Brothers to obtain the spices and other ingredients I needed. It was a cultural experience in itself and I was also pleasantly surprised with their wonderful selection of fresh produce. Great break from Publix & Winn Dixie!
Great produce prices and very fresh. You will find lots of produce that you may never have seen before. They have great beauty care products too and great prices on saffron. It's a pretty clean place too with well marked prices.
You can get here every indian branded items, great for puja items..Only concern is it's not as big as Chicago Naperville one..There is no resturant facility like Chicago one..
My family's favorite Asian Grocery store. We like the variety of incense sticks, fresh vegetables, fruits, and spicy snacks. Very busy at times (Indian holidays) but the store offers puja items, too! Do not tell anyone that they have the best price on incense and fresh turmeric.
Good place for Indian grocery
It is well stocked. The vegetables are relatively fresh. The staff are friendly and helpful, even when the store is crowded. The only drawback is relatively small space between the aisles which makes it difficult to navigate the carts. Good place to shop on weekdays; crowded on weekends, especially on evenings.
Awesome selection of great Indian foods and spices. There was gentleman who was very friendly helping with choosing the right seasonings.
Only issue is, picked up a product that had a price of $7.99 on it, at checkout it scanned for $9.99...the cashier refused to honor the $7.99 price, there were at least 3 others with the same price...
the people are very very rude every I've been there to shop it get worse everytime the next time I shop there they might kill me The next time I ask a question but yeah customer service overall is pretty bad I won't complain about wal Mart let put it that way. However the produce was amazing so many chili's at good prices too and the frozen Roti was great they have so many varieties of foods I'm impressed everytime I go there with the food not the people
Amazing friendly experience! Authentic Indian wear that makes you always feel that your princess. The owner was ever so polite and helpful and guiding us to prepare for upcoming holiday, Namaste.
Good for buying Indian stuff (as if u needed to read my review fir this)
Staff is nice.
I did not like the fruits here.
Deals are not offered (I did not see one)
Place is too crowded.
I am still giving 4 stars as rating.
Review is for the readers to decide.
The place is best shop for indian grocery. They have amazing deals during festivals season. I wish they move to a bigger place so there is enough space to move around . I believe in other cities they have recently opened big stores.. wish one opens in tampa too
One of the best Indian grocery store. Almost all ingredients we need for Indian cooking is available.. also some really good pre prepared and frozen foods.. you can also find some common Indian utensils and things needed for pooja etc.
Well organized and fresh vegetables and fruits
Very fresh produce and great selection of frozen iIndian foods. Luke the weekly deals, makes shopping interesting. Some items are getting costly these days. love the check out, this place is always busy, but check out is very quick. Wish they had better paneer. Mango and suren are very pricey. The selection of species are very good. Like the cleanliness.
One stop shop for all indian spices, vegetables and flours etc.
Good but little aisle space between the partitions.
Kind of ok shop for Indian groceries and stuffs. Rates were going greedy these days (except festival time offers for not-a-standard grade commodities) Rates were so high when compared to their profit over import cost. (I’m saying this because I have good insight on this business + the stats over the market)
They don’t provide offers or promotions or at least a reasonable price.
Well, people still go here. Including me. Because we do not have much choice. They knew this clearly. That’s the reason for the previously mentioned concern.
You can buy whatever needs for Indian spices, fresh vegetables, and fruits.
price is a little higher but Almost all Indian products are available here
One stop shop for all your indian household needs from spices , pulses, snacks, instant mixes, ready to eat and frozen foods to utensils , religious items in the Tampa bay area. Has a good variety of indian veggies too but their freshness varies according to when u visit. Usually the best is around weekend mornings. But all in all a good but slightly congested ( compared to other American stores) experience
I was able to find a lot of food items I was looking got. However I found the place very expensive. I did not find much difference between the prices in a store nearby and here, whole in some cases I found this even more expensive. It's a good size store. Pack sizes are large for most items. More options in terms of size will be highly appreciated.
Best place to buy indian groceries and snacks. Always have all shelves stocked up with no expiry items. Reasonable price compare to local indian grocery stores. Friendly environment but employees always rushing their customers they snatch your cart and want you to check out even though you're not ready specially on busy hours ,on special occasions that's the only down fall for this store other than that I have not find any other issues to go shop to patel brothers
Indian grocery store. You will get most of the Indian quality items. All vegetables and fruits are fresh.
We get all Indian stuff here.Any kitchen item used in North Indian or South Indian cooking. Prices are little expensive but it’s worth to put it. I go once in 2 weeks and fill my kitchen with all needed items
This Monday, I had paid a visit to see a new and most amazing Indian grocery store that I had looked up.
I had intentions of visiting on the weekend, but Monday worked just as well.
Anyway, as this was my first time visiting the store, just like when I visited the Mahal Bazaar earlier this month, it was a case of immediate delight and impression!
Visiting this store was amazing, and I saw so many products and interesting Indian food as far as the eye could see, and like the Mahal Bazaar, I couldn't get enough of the amazing smell in the air, which was just pleasant, and I especially loved smelling the smell of Indian incense sticks. This store made me feel like I was already in India again, and the service was great!
Not only that, but just like I did before, I, having learned more of it, had another chance to use my Hindi language to interact with the people who worked the place, and the check out registers.
Overall, this is yet another really amazing, yet interesting place to see, visit, buy things, and feel like you're in India!
I absolutely love this place, just as I do the Mahal Bazaar. 😊😁
When my visit was over, I bought some Mahal Chai Tea, tried it when I got home, and that tea, from India, was very refreshing and enjoyable!
My rating for the store... five-- no, better yet... 10 stars!
Thank you very much for having me visit your store, Patel Brothers! I do hope that I can return again someday!
😊😊😁😁💖💖😉😉
Great place to shop for the Indian grocery. Always well stocked.
My first time there..extremely crowded and narrow isles. But an incredible selection of indian ingredients and spices. Plus a fresh produce section. If you're looking for indian ingredients this is probably the best place.
Awesome store with the best produce! Huge selection of spices as well. There's always a lot look at here, especially if you're looking to try something new
Best Indian market in town. Has all the south Indian ingredients I need.
Best desi grocery store in Tampa. They match prices on fresh produce with target (sometimes even cheaper)
Friendly staff. Bit crowded on peak weekend hours.
I love the stuff they sell. This store is poorly laid out. Chaos at the entrance and check out. Lanes are so narrow, you might get stuck with no room to move forward or back.
Awesome products, terrible shopping experience.
Good place for fresh vegetables.
The store has the items I need . Way cheaper than an herb store for natural oils & sorts. I try different cuisines of their foods also & teas for diabetes .They have many other options like Capsules & Different blends of nature juices for sickness of all kinds. They are not the friendliest staff ask them a question. It's either I don't know or read the label. Its a clean medium size store I've shopped off & on over a yr now .
Great place to buy Indian groceries. Wish the vegetables are always fresh and look appealing. It's crowded during the weekends, ideal time for shopping here would be weekdays.
The produce is always fresh and low priced. They have an array of spices, frozen foods and so much more. I love shopping here!
It has good selection of Indian grocery but space is limited and on weekends or occasions of sale gets very congested inside and becomes difficult to even push the shopping cart. That's the only reason I have given 3 stars.
Fresh veggies and great pricing. The place is little too cramped, I guess they need to aquire some space. Almost impossible to keep a reasonable distance.
Fast checkout, lots of spices and fresh vegetables. Reasonable prices. Good grocery store for Indian people (or others who like making spicy food).
Good place to purchase Indian groceries.
To promote their in-house brand SWAD, they intentionally keep high prices for other brands(like Deep or Laxmi).
If you like Deep or Laxmi products, try "House of spices" for lower cost.
Well known Indian Grocery store. Has a wide choice of Indian vegetables and Indian spices. Tends to carry only one brand name "Swad" for many grocery items such as lentils and spices. Extremely busy on weekends.
Ayurveda products and fresh delicious vegetarian options. And the mix packs and meal seasoning kits are always chemical and preservative free yet somehow cheaper than seasoning meal kits from Walmart of lower quality MSG-laden ingredients! Thus place gives me life and they accept ebt - great for all the students and veterans in this area
Loved it first time there today ,loved thier selection of spices s ,I love indian food learning many recipes and I found all my spices there ,most DEFINITELY will be back .and the prices are very reasonable.I HIGHLY recommended..
Nice place. Nice collection of groceries, vegetables and other items. Only problem is space in some aisles will be crowded and hard to move. Especially now with Covid 19, we are scared to go there.
Great indian grocery, we travel about 65 miles round trip to stock up on the rice & various spices my wife needs for all the curries we love.
Busy, awesome selection of heavenly spices, chutneys, and sauces. Best Indian market I have ever found for assortment.
They have all the Indian groceries. Rice and some of the stuffs are expensive, when compared to other stores. Home made Indian snacks like Mixture, murukku, thattavadai, almost about 10 different varieties of home made snacks available..
You will find majority of Indian items. Please check the price on the item before buying because price on rack and price on item sometime may not match what I saw. Else it’s good Indian store.
Patel Bhayi has everything you are looking for Indian Groceries. They always have quality product. I love patel because I can get Chana Sattu (specialty of Bihar) here in USA, which is hard to get in South part of India.:)
Good place to buy lots of fresh vegetables and Indian grocery. Place is little congested and store is filled with only Swad brand. So, if you are looking for an item of different brand, you might not find here.
Welcoming to any ethnic group. Even if the "natives" stare. Friendly staff. Management is also accommodating. They graciously allowed us to exchange a product w/o a receipt.
I find pretty much any and all the Indian groceries I need from Patel's. They lose one star just coz a shop of this caliber needs to be in a bigger space!! This particular location is way too cramped. It gets claustrophobic especially during the weekends. I've been to many other Patel's across the country and hope they move to a bigger location.
Indian grocery store. You can find most of the items on an Indian family grocery list. Quality and price can be a hit or miss. Well organized and stocked than other Indian groceries.
Not friendly. Owners should take tips from American stores that are thankful that people frequent their business and serve customers with a smile and a thank you at the register.
Good Indian store with lot of options. Love this place for Indian grocery
They need to take off the expired stuff.
One time I got the pickle and it was expired. They exchanged and they didnt even ask apologize.
But I love their loose mixture (home made) which is really good.
THE place to go for shopping Indian grocery. Nice variety of items. Shop is bit small for shopping.
As a white disabled female American with little exposure to Indian culture, I was blown away at this store. They’re selection was excellent. Not every spoke English but try did their best to help me with questions
Don't go here often but always seem to find what I need when I do shop here. They have an excellent selection of nuts.
I visited IL, NJ and NC Patel’s before. This so small comparatively others. But this is only good choice Indian grocery store around Tampa area.
I feel like prices are little expensive than other state patels, may be because of less Indian population here.
Good selection of groceries
one of the best Indian grocery shop i would say. patel store is good in vegetables and grocery items and in deals..good choices for Indian's expectations
This store is the only store in tampa that has everything that we need. The only downside is the space, they seriously need to upgrade. Considering our desi community's serious courtesy towards fellow desis, this store has to upgrade on its space.
Here's the one stop shop for all indian staples. They do a brilliant job to ensure availability of South as well as North Indian grocery/veggies.
All the verities of Fresh fresh Produce, Indian grocery, Ice cream, frozen meat, frozen entity and many more. They have every thing you want for to cook Indian food.
Lots of authentic Indian foods, economically priced vegetables among other things. Exceptional, good customer service. Such a pleasure to shop there.
Great store for Indian Grocery! A bit pricey but you expect that when u get what u need so far away from India.
So competitive prices, every Indian needs available, friendly, ever smile, knowledgeable and courteous staff.
Jagdish : Excellent products, clean, well packed and GREAT prices. fresh vegetables also. Very helpful staff good sincere management. Hard to believe but some products are even cheaper than India , Example Tunisian Dates. Easy to reach manager Mohan, always available on the floor. Giving 10% discounts to USF students, TRUE CARE. They participate in all community events also. what else we can expect.
Very good, I go there when I need some Herbs from India. They had some Amla pills and the frozen fruit. I was informed it was good for Diabetis & cholesterol.
Good variety and fairly priced. However, the aisles are too narrow. Very difficult to move freely. Nevertheless, good service. Will recommend.
Lovely, splendid, delish! A clean and invigorating environment; second to none.
I wasn’t really at this place. I was in the parking lot waiting for my food at Mr.& Mrs. Crab. But store did look neat outside
They carry everything you will need as a typical Indian buyer ...... besides all basic necessities their also have a good collection of fresh produce at a competitive price, fruits, pulses, dairy, kitchen utensils , pooja stuff, cosmetics, Indian snacks, bakery ( paos and bread) .....
Specials are typically parked at the entry .....
Packed on weekends so plan accordingly
Good prices and nice selection of indian groceries but the aisles are narrow and crowded
They need to step it up to meet the competition Apna Bazaar
Great place to get vegetables! Indian Grocery, frozen foods. Everyone is nice and helpful. Patel Brothers is another reason Tampa is the best city on the Peninsula.
Store is very clean and well staffed. Great variety of produce and goods.
Nice selection of groceries but the aisles are quite narrow and it's really hard to browse when the store is crowded (which is often). Best to come in knowing exactly what you want, get it, and get out quickly lol.
Great place to get Indian grocery stuffs
It was fun shopping at the Indian store it is so much different than a regular American Store me and some of my Indian friends were there they were buying their food for the week the food is so much different than the food that I eat but their food is also good too like it something different👪💁🙋😎 …
Great customer service, good prices .
Best place for Indian Grocery Shopping. You can get all good quality product here. Staff is also very helpful.
Very big Indian products shop where we got maximum cooking items to prepare our own food. But quite a long distance from oldsmar.
Good place to shop for Indian groceries. But, somewhat expensive. Variety of products available. Fruits are not the best, especially mangoes.
Found all indian items I was looking for. Vegetables were fresh. Staff was courteous and helpful.
I have been to patel brothers at many locations, but this one is my favorite. Especially because they have good and fresh stock. I love the ready to eat's.
Good place to buy Indian groceries.. But be aware and check dates of the products you by. They may sell expired stuffs
I used their cargo shipping services from Tampa to Jamaica and the barrel made it there in less than a week. Plus, they have the best Caribbean grocery items and snacks. Feel like when yuh mother send yuh gah shop lol
Best place for healthy food if you are one who likes to cook. They have a great variety of fresh fruits, veggies, and other vegetarian foods.
My favorite indian store for spices and vegetables always fresh and always have what im looking even soap from back home
Best place to get vegetables and Indian household items. Prices are bit higher than competitors.
Popular Indian grocery store in Tampa.. it is a chain though..you would see it in every US City
This is the superstore your east Indians needs and groceries. The owner and staff are friendly, helpful, polite and professional.Their pricing and availibilty surpasses its competitors.
One of the best Indian grocery stores in town
It seems like you need to read the expiry dates on the products. This has happened to me at other Indian stores also where I found the information at the time of using it and too late to return as I did not have the receipt anymore. It's "Buyer Beware" as always.
I enjoy the smells of the wide variety of spices and herbs. I usually get sugar canes and young coconuts in as a treat when available.
One stop for veggies and groceries. Has to be little careful while buying spices as they are costlier compared to other Indian grocery stores
Good quality Indian grocery store ... You'll get fresh indian variety vegetables. Can get all kind of Indian spices.
As always the best place for Indian grocery store with huge variety and fresh stuff .
Everyone is super polite and helpful. I go in here describing things I've eaten like a total fool and they always show me what I need to make my own. I love this place!
Very clean and has good prices
Good clothes and good prices with with nice behavior of staff...
Wish their aisles were bigger, actually the whole store would be better if they expand because in the rush hours it is very crazy and everyone gets in the way, the line in the cashier registry takes time so yeah please move to a bigger location to improve the shopping experience
I was not at Patel Brothers I was next door at mr&mis crabs
I go there to get my oils they have good prices for their oils and I get rose water there and it's cheap and light going to an American Beauty Store they want to charge you an arm and a leg they actually have good prices
One stop shoppe for Indian grocery
Little bit pricey compared to the competitors in the Town. Fresh quality very nice staff
It's like we good most of the Indian groceries, but the place is very small, we need to leave the cart where we find some place and then have to put the stuff in the cart, and the billing area is small, that the line has to go into the aisles, And when compared with NJ the prices seems higher here, and more over not getting all the items that I get in NJ.
A place where we get all 'Indian groceries'. All the stuff here are of very good quality. Vegetables and fruits are available too.
Get fresh vegetables most of the time.Aisles are a little congested due to small space. They definitely need a bigger place.
Good shop. All kind of Indian grocery items are available here. Almost every Indian need will be meet here.
Very nice store and selection. It was busy (Saturday evening) but we were able to check out in minutes. Great service!
Good store for Indian foods. Bathrooms clean. Deals are great. 5% discount for USF students
Good selection but so crowded! Think it might be a good idea for the store to invest in smaller carts to make it easier to get around.
I like this store because it has a lot of herbs that I use for fair pricing.
Good place for Indian groceries. Local items better be purchased outside in local other shops as are overpriced.
Nice selection of goods I would not be able to find at say Publix or Winn-Dixie. Prices seemed reasonable. Will go here again in the future.
Great place for all kinds of vegetables and fruits
Good clean Indian store, main issue is that pricing is higher than competitors but otherwise good overall store with great variety
Good store for Indian groceries and vegetables. Lots of choices and good prices. The store is a little cramped especially on weekends.
So crowded, and not all the cashiers speak English (which is fine, but just be aware it may add a minute to your transaction if there are any issues with machines) but it will ha e everything you need, and is well organized.
Customers Services could be better. I said "thank you" to the lady cashier at the counter she doesn't say anything! Even welcome!
They have everything you need plus the music just makes you want to jump in the aisles.
Always good service at check out. All Indian grocery and fresh vegetables available.
Compare to other indian grocery store, well maintain and better options.
Quality always comes with proper price.
Good place to buy spices, veggie, and grains. Beware that sometimes the ginger or other vegetables are not fresh.
This place has all the essential indian food items. It is a really good shop to buy indian groceries
Best place for all indian groceries, best price too
Excellent variety of hindu items. Lots of affordable vegetables and a wonderful variety of agarbatti ( incense )

Great selection of items. Produce was plentiful and fresh.
Nice place and nice people. Lot better experience then House of Spice(HOS). Also, never had product quality issues like HOS.
Consistent quality with Indian groceries. steady but not great prices. usually as expected.
Good selection of Indian specialties and fresh vegetables. It gets crowded and can be tough to get around the aisles.
It’s nice but it is small compared to other Patel brothers
Even though store is small, they have all essential indian items at store
Fun and tasty snacks
The best Indian grocery store in town. They will get the fifth star after they expand and make the isles wider.

Front line service is not so good. However the vegetables are fresher than other adjacent Indian groceries.
One place for all indian groceries, vegetables, spices.
Best place to buy Indian groceries. Everything is available. Didn't miss India.
Parking is a nightmare - it's always busy but great customer service, very reasonable prices, fresh produce, and it's always clean.
Good variety of Asian vegetables and fruits. Prices are very good. Very clean. Deserves to come again.
Overall pretty good ..perhaps a fresher produce section fruits in particular ..will get them 5 ⭐️
OMG....even the frozen prepared foods taste great but all spices n sauces are here.yummy
Good place for Indian grocery. Some items are little costly than other shops
Good stock and quality
Only one problem is that they should put the things in the racks on weekdays.. weekend it will be rush and in between we need to find a way....
Staff are not welcoming. Do not greet or say hello to customer. Was it because I am BLACK? The products are great.
Good vegetable stocks
A great place to get fresh veggies at a good price and a huge variety of dry goods too
1st time I visit patel brothers.I felt like I m in india. The shop was neat and well maintain. The staff was very friendly. Good job.
Monopoly .
swad mostly ,so we can't really know quality.
I would prefer other stores .
Only one decent option for Indian grocery stores. But not up to the par of other stores in other states of USA
The one and only place for Indian groceries. Make sure to check your bills they might add some things else which you don't get it.
Good place to get Indian Groceries and fresh produce.
Vegetables are fresh. But most of the groceries are of SWAD brand which are not so good
Excellent Chai secton, but always empty!
This is the place to buy indian grocery with best price and fresh food.
I ❤️ getting my farm fresh eggs, pastries, avocado's, burro bananas and vegetables from here.
Big shop with almost everything you can expect from indian grocery store. But gets crowded from time to time.
Was hoping for a better selection, but i guess they are limited by the size of the store. They had things but only one brand of each so no choices.
It was very crowded, but easy to find what you need. The selection was quite varied and the prices were surprisingly low.
Our permanent grocery shop. You get almost all the items what you get in india... 😀 …
Excellent place for Indian groceries. Fresh vegetables. Can get crowded at times.
Good quality of veggie and fruits and groceries...helper staff but is too small place
Little cramped up. Variety is great and produce is fresh (From Mexico India and China
This is an average store and I feel, they are overpriced. I found other Indian stores better than this.
Non, nonsense, seriously authentic Indian food supplies. The best prices and great quality too.
Great customer service and selection of Indian Foods. I use it for my USF class all the time to show them the culture.

We get pretty much all Indian veggies and groceries here!
Good selection and reasonably fresh produce. Unfortunately the location isn't ideal and prices can sometimes be high.
Best place for Indian supplies. But isles r narrow. The carts really should be smaller.
Like their selections of mid Eastern foods. Gram flour "chick pea" and teff as well large selections of spices.
This is literally 1/10th the size of the Patel brothers i have next to my house in Chicago. Not so great.
Good Indian grocery Store , you can find fresh Indian vegitables.
Good. As we are from Newjersey, here we found some of the indian groceries are missing when compare to Patel NJ.
Expensive than other Indian stores. Minimum $1 difference on rice bags. But we got no option other than this location. They’re taking an advantage of it.
