Love shopping local. I stopped in at Kim Brother’s Grocery Store in Tampa today. Such an amazing selection and great quality. Between the delicious in house thinly sliced ribeye for Bulgogi Beef and the homemade Dumplings made by one of the gracious owners filled with beef and perfectly spiced kimchi, I was in foodie heaven. I made the Bulgogi- Korean BBQ beef tonight and had @cory_tyndall over for a yummy dinner. #shoplocal #tampafoodie #aperfectday

Korean shopping market with homemade food! If you love Korean food or just interested in trying it check out this place. They have lots of authentic Korean frozen foods too with plenty of varieties and fresh vegetables as well. The people there are very friendly also.

Favorite Korean grocery store. I always come here to get my groceries if I am in the mood to cook Korean cuisine. The owner is super nice and friendly and always eager to help. The store itself is organized and clean.

We wanted to check out the other oriental markets in the area and chose Kim Bros to roam. Staff was very, very nice. You are welcomed with an aisle of noodles and chips. They have some pretty unique chips but it was quite expensive, $5 a bag. They have the same selection as the other oriental stores such as meat, cookware, noodles, etc. The only thing that was a treat was their fish cake. It was delicious and worth the money! The place does get a bit cramped so just be ready to share the aisle with other shoppers. This place does price their items a little bit more expensive than the other oriental markets. We would probably return for just the fishcakes.

I love this place, I get ramen, dumplings, fish cake, I get Ramu for my daughter (carbonated soft drink), and lots of goodies..last time I was there with a friend and wanted to get some persimmons but forgot and was heading outside to put the stuff in my car and the owner came out with two fruit for me for free, the sweetie person ever..😍😍🥰and you can find so much more

I just discovered this hidden gem a couple of weeks ago while we were out shopping for furniture. I’m really glad we have something like this in Tampa because they are very well stocked for a small Korean grocery store. They have all of your basics for Korean seasoning, sauces, powders, as well as snacks and frozen foods. One thing that really surprised me was that they have a refrigerated section in the front right before you checkout with all sorts of homemade banchans (side dishes) as well as bibimbap kits! We had to grab some because we couldn’t find them anywhere ready-to-eat bibimbap kits besides Lotte Market in Orlando. Also, make sure to go on the weekend because they have hot ready to eat foods at the checkout counter! We got some freshly made kimchi buns and they were still warm to the touch when we got home! They also have homemade mochis too. They are definitely worth checking out!

I've been to other oriental markets and the prices generally are the same. They are not wildly different. They have the biggest selection of Korean food I've seen so far. I wish we had bigger Korean markets in Tampa like h-mart, but right now, this is indeed our biggest choice.

This place is quite incredible, even as soon as you walk in the door. Prices are great for direct import items as well. Its a new experience unlike Ive had before seeing all of the items you are unlikely to see in regular american produce. A must visit if you love food from across the ocean (or in it, as well)! ♡

I used to drive an hour and a half to buy kimchi here. I had done so for more than fifteen years. The store is under new ownership, and the kimchi recipe has changed to one I really dislike. The kimbap and kimchi buns they sell on the weekend are still wonderful. If anyone knows if the previous owners are selling their kimchi elsewhere, would you please post that information here? I REALLY miss it.

This place has a bit of everything Korean. It is a must place to go to shop for all the ingredients for cooking Korean cuisine. I also enjoy their ready made food such as Korean rice cake. I also bought a few pairs of indoor out door slippers from them. I always walk around to see what little cute Korean items are being sold there and have fun finding some new things for my kitchen.

They didn't have everything I was looking for. However, I found some treats that I wasn't looking for. The young man ordering the register was warm and friendly. He laughed WITH me when I needed him to read some of the packaging that was written only in Korean. It's always a pleasure to shop here. It is a bit dirty in some areas, but to be fair, it is an older store.

Reminds me of the local grocery I shopped at while teaching in Daegu, SK. Staff was very nice. They've got pretty much everything you could think of if you're looking for Korean ingredients, snacks, produce, or alcohol. Grabbed everything I was missing to make some proper kimchi and samgyeopsal at home. Definitely a cool find and will be back plenty while living in Tampa!

Hands down this is the best Korean grocer in the Tampa Bay area. That's coming from someone who spent a summer in South Korea and is married to a Korean woman. I lived in Queens, NY for over a decade before moving to Florida. The staff are friendly and helpful and they have an excellent selection of products. They have a wide array of very authentic kimchi (when you first enter the store, turn right, it will be on your right.) They also have a decent selection of Korean side dishes (from the entrance, turn left, you will see them on the left and in front of you.) Around important Korean holidays (such as New Year's) they have high quality homemade traditional staples like dduk guk (small rice cakes typically eaten in the New Year's soup.) This place has been a lifesaver for me; if you are looking for authentic Korean ingredients in the Tampa Bay area, I do not know of a better source.

The Best place for Korean Grocery store. Besides regular grocery items, they carry ready to eat light snacks and many side dishes. Fresh vegetables, some imported goods like acupuncture needles. The shop is really clean, well organised and the owner is very friendly. The store offers discounts on certain things.

Has all my favorite korean grocery items. I'm surprised this place has a good amount of japanese items too hidden in the mix. Also if you like chesnuts and see a chestnut cake on the counter when you're about to pay grab it! Best decision I've ever made. Cheap black garlic and great selections for Tteok-bokki. Different kinds of rice cakes available in freezer section.

Went there to get the ingredients to do some Jjajangmyeon. It was my first time ever so I didn't know where anything was. The girl working was amazing. She recommended the black bean paste I should use and also pointed out how fresh noodles would taste better than packaged ones. I asked her about ddeokboki and she even talked about ways I can make it milder (I'm not into spicy foods) as well as a soy based sauce that would be just as delicious. I felt so happy and like she really took an interest me - this Puerto Rican girl trying to cook Korean cuisine for the first time. Will definitely go there again.

I lived in South Korea for many years. Walking into Kim Bros. takes me back there EVERY time. From the traditional drygoods and frozen foods all the way to the family made kimchi and banchan, this place transports me back to the ROK. The family that owns/operates it is kind and welcoming and there's always a good K-drama on the TV. You can even pick up traditional Korean serving ware and a pair of bath shoes while you're there.
