Been coming here for years and although a little more pricey it has quality food. There's a wide range of Asian drinks and frozen foods in the back of the store as well as snacks and fresh produce in the front. They also serve hot foods every Saturday and overall a very authentic and nice place

My first time in the store. The staff is friendly. You don't feel like you're being stalked while looking at things. It is a small store and they have a nice collection. Predominantly Korean food. But they also have some Japanese, and Filipino selections which is nice. Have quite a lot of condiments which was nice. I'll definitely be back

Bom is a great Korean market that carries a decently diverse selection of Asian ingredients. It is pretty clean and organized, and they have just about all Korean cooking staples I need. They also have some fun, trendy snacks and food items. It saves me from having to drive to Orlando to Lotte!

Very nice place! My friend and I came near closing last Friday night and they were very accommodating and willing to answer our questions. They didn't try to rush us out or anything! I will definitely be back because there prices are very nice and similar to what I pay back home!

I adore this market! They have everything. My kids love going with me and selecting out candies and treats that are not often found in regular grocery stores. Hi-Chew, Pocky Sticks, Hapi Bing Bing cone snacks, mochi, etc. My kids about lost their minds the first time they saw the treat aisle. I cannot speak highly enough of this market! I have never needed a specific Asian food item for cooking that I can not find here.

Great local Asian market. First thing you notice how clean and well organized the market is. People are friendly and informative. They also have a rewards program which is a nice touch. If you are looking for some Asian cuisine or some unusual tasty snacks, this the place to go.

Excellent Oriental store! I'm Filipino and this store has everything I need, this is where I get my bags of rice and also my longanisa and tocino! My mom was able to find everything she needed to make some amazing pancit and sinigang. So if you're looking for your essentials to make your amazing Asian cuisine, come here!

It's been a while since I was here and went today (August 2022). They have expanded greatly and offer a wide range of fresh, frozen and packaged oriental/asian foods, drinks and other miscellaneous items (cookware, chopsticks, tea pots, baskets and bins ect). I got some of their fresh kimchi, it was SO good. They also carry my preferred brand of medium sweet soy sauce and sambal. Everything is fairly priced and seemingly authentic. The workers are friendly and helpful. The store is clean, organized and well maintained. I will def make this a regular stop in my food shopping.

Small, clean, neat and decent! I can find everything I need for my Vietnamese cuisine! Always adore the owner's homemade Kimchi with different ingredients rather than normal cabbages, such as cucumber (my favorite!), radish, soybean sprouts, garlic stem kimchi, etc. which I yet found any compatitors to hers so far! In the attached photos are gourami fish, red chili pepper, fish sauce (products of Vietnam) and those Kimchi cucumber, radish, garlic stem and cabbage from this market. Loved them all!

My favorite Asian store with a huge focus on Korean. I love the food they prepare as well on Wednesdays or Saturday’s and the kimchi and cucumber salads are the best I’ve ever had. I was wondering as many of you probably did, how is this place competing against the giant MD Oriental just down the street? Well there are things that you just won't find in big Asian groceries that you'll find here. Balut, partially developed duck egg, being one you won't find readily anywhere. The place has its own charm and provides value in its own way.

This market is Korean oriented, but also has a good selection of Filipino goods and generic Oriental stock. The house kimchi was delicious as mentioned in other reviews. Pricing was typical, the store was clean and well stocked, the customers were friendly, and checkout was quick and easy. I found everything I needed. This is my new go-to for oriental goods.

I spent 4 years in Korea and I thoroughly enjoy shopping here as it reminds me of what I left behind. I appreciate the large selection of hard to find ingredients like Kombu, 떡 , as well as the large amount of fresh 반찬, or side dishes. They even have my favorite, squid!

I was so excited to find an Asian market. I just moved from Northern VA where you have every ethnicity grocery store within a 5 mile radius and have been missing that here in the Tampa area. This was so cool. I don't know much about a lot of Asian food but I went here to get sesame seeds for making hummus and they had plenty of variety of said seeds. The store was just packed with foods I'd never seen before and will be exploring. The staff were kind and helpful. They also had an enormous quantify and variety of fish and I will so definitely be back to try out the fish. It was mostly if not all frozen, but that's usually how I get fish anyway. I've never had more than like 4 kinds of fish so I'm excited to try much more.

So..My Lovely Wife is Filipina and This Oriental Market is only a few miles from Us and just Steps (almost!) from Both rt. 75 and rt. 4 CloverLeafs going onto rt. 60 East like ur Going to Orlando. I was looking to visit an oriental market, and found this place online. It had good reviews so decided to try. I absolutely loved it. It was well organized (easy to navigate through products) for someone new like me and they had so many options of everything. I loved the variety. The place was well cleaned and friendly staff. Prices were great too. Definitely will be going back for more, wish it was closer. I highly suggest going if you’re looking for a huge variety of products.

We are very excited and pleased to have found BOM. It is a close comparison to Zion Market. Not quite as big but has a lot of fine products that I was looking for.

I have always been going to this store even before this was BOM and even if they are small, they carry most of the Philippine products that I crave and love. I’ve been coming to this establishment even before they moved to this location and I love how much it has grown. They have so many options to choose from and even sell things I can’t find at other oriental stores. There is one thing I did notice that’s a big no-no when I recently did some grocery shopping here and it’s the way they store their salted eggs. Salted eggs should be refrigerated and stored as such, instead it sits out in the open. If you plan on buying salted eggs from here, don’t. In general, avoid purchasing any products that isn’t stocked properly (i.e. frozen food should be in freezers and refrigerated products should be kept in a refridgerator).

OMGOODNESS!! The variety is amazing! There are two buildings connected by a walkway. I just enjoyed going through every thing and I can't wait to go back next month to buy more. I'm hardly the Oriental market expert. However, I knew that they would have authentic panko bread crumbs from the original maker in Los Angeles. We buy 10 packages at a time for a year supply. My son loves BOM for the Oriental snacks.

This is one of two Asian food markets in the Brandon, FL area. It is about the same size as the other one on Falkenberg Rd. There is overlap between the two, since they are both "Asian", but each carries items that the other doesn't. Since they are only ten minutes apart driving time, I usually visit both of them on the same trip if I have the time. You won't be disappointed with either! I lived in Singapore for seven years, and I do love a great asian food market. We have two in Brandon!!!

I’m obsessed with this place!! On Wednesday and Saturday’s the sweet lady makes kimbap, japchae, and few other delicacies that are so delicious and authentic. The workers are kind and informative and this place has literally everything a big chain like HMart would have. I LOVE this place. I always enjoyed going here to shop. They have a great selection of food and products. They also have a back building too! The people who run the place deeply care about it, but also get misunderstood. The owner Mrs.Kim can come off very rude to some, but it's just her personality. She's protective of her store and works very hard. Her husband is a very kind and helpful man and their daughter also manages it. Just a tip, try to research about what you are looking for before you come in if you want to make a recipe. If you are wondering about applying, it's a relaxed job. Just be a QUICK learner with thick skin because Mrs.Kim can become very impatient and harsh which chased a lot of employees away. It helps to know the products they sell very well. They need you to be as independent as possible when it comes to working there. They aren't going to tell you what to do, they will just expect you to fulfill all the needs they taught. Other than that, they are people with good hearts and most the customers are very sweet and kind as well. Hope this helps!

Has many things that you cannot find in a regular grocery store and has an excellent staff that are willing to help the disabled too. The store is in two buildings, but not crowded like many others. Plus if you cannot find what you are looking for they can try to order it for you. I especially love the various types of tea's and cookware.

It's a decent store to get some of the harder to find Korean ingredients, especially the kimchi/pickled foods that are not found in the larger asian stores in the area such as MD Oriental. The store actually has two sections connected by an outdoor walkway, so it is much larger than it appears from the outside. The store can use an updated appearance and it does not have a fresh fish. Overall a decent store with fair prices.

I enjoy going to Brandon Oriental Market. They have a good selection and fresh produce. When I first started going, I did not realize they had a “back of the store”. They have a whole area of store in the back, but you have to go through the door and down a connecting sidewalk. Generally, two buildings. Great place to browse and fun food.

Being new to the area, I have been looking for a decent Korean food store. I have been to a few, and this seems to be my top pick out of all of them. Decent prices and a wide variety. On wednesdays, they sell kimbap. I don't buy any, I make my own. The second time there, I realized there was another building in the back. This will definitely be my go to Korean food store while living in the Tampa area.

Dont let the tiny exterior fool you, this place is large inside and had another building connected. There is so much to see because of the variety of things offered. On Saturdays the owner makes fresh California roll sushi. It is so good, very flavorful, wuthout the soy sauce and pickled ginger. It was great, I will be going back.

This place is the only place that I will go to in Brandon to get my Korean food fix. In the fridge they have the pickle condiments, which are made by the owner. The real Ramen is in the back, if you always buy the black label is spicier. Do not leave without picking up some Korean candy or tea. And if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask the owner is super friendly, and she got some English speaking staff to help her. The place is always welcoming and I cannot say enough of how much I love it.

Great market for Asian ingredients you can't get in normal supermarkets and very reasonably priced. There's another area in a big tent behind the store which we didn't know at first because you have to go through a door. Lots of different spices and wide range too (lots of different types of fish sauce for example).

I add it to my regular coffee and it brightens my morning. They have many rice and ramen to chose from. They are not as big as MD, but one can find most items needed to cook popular Asian dishes. My husband loves the frozen spicy octopus soup.

This is the place to go if you are looking for specialty food. We have never been disappointed in their deli's hot food bar. Their vegetables and fruit are fresh. It is the place to go for asian imports whether you are looking for coffee, durian, noodle or mocche. We visit here on a weekly basis for most of our asian staples. I would give them 5 stars but sadly half of their staff cannot speak good English so do not expect a lot of help in locating items.

My wife and I went here last night because we needed a few items for our dinner and it's around the corner from us. When there, I had a craving for Wanton soup. We couldn't find anything to make it. We only found the microwavable soup, but we don't have a microwave. We asked the lady (I believe she's the owner) what to do. She walked us around the store telling us which items we needed to make it from scratch instead of the microwavable Wanton soup. When we got home, we made the soup and LOVED it!!! We'll definitely be going back there to get our items needed for Asian food. The lady was very helpful, funny and very kind to us.

The young man was very kind and dilligent and although he did not know what we were looking for he did everything possible to find what we were looking for.The owner was very upset because he did not know what we were talking about, we tried to explain her with photos and what it was but even so she looked annoyed. He scolded the young man in front of us what made us feel uncomfortable.Next she gave us a speech telling us that when we went to buy something there we will make sure we know what it was and where it came from.Well, I do not know, but where I live, the client is treated well.The young man and the cashier were super friendly and kind but the old lady.....Welllllll.I want to think that maybe it is a cultural thing.

I love going to this market, you can find the exotic when in season. Like now the lychee are in and the jackfruit and other delicious but hard to pronounce fruit and vegetables are there to give you the nutrition your body needs to keep healthy and vital. They also have the fresh young coconuts which you have to open with a big knife or one of coconut openers which they also sell. They have special green ,white and oolong teas from the mountains of japan or china that are just divine to drink and sit and be in silence when it comes tea time of the day. Also you can get your fish fresh from the fish tanks they there large and small that they will clean for you. I love this market and the employees are very friendly and helpful. I will always shop here got to go I'm on my way there now to get me some teas and fruit and vegetables, have a lovely day.
