Neat place to visit for ethnic southwest Asian groceries. Big clean store, wide aisles, organized. And very great place to catch a meal at the APNA Grill. Staff friendly and checked up on is several times after we ordered- great customer service. Food served in to go containers, but you can sit down and eat. Very good, brings back great memories of eating Street food while traveling :)

Such a convenient place, especially if someone wishes to buy fish or meat. This place feels home as many Asians can be seen often. Service is good and is also clean. But I wish it had more service hours each day at least till 10 o' clock at night.

I recently visited Apna Bazaar International grocery store and overall, my experience was moderate. The store had a good selection of international and ethnic foods, but I found that some of the products were a bit overpriced. However, the store was well-organized and the staff was friendly and helpful. One of the highlights of my visit was the fresh produce section. They had a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, including some that I had never seen before. The produce looked fresh and was well-maintained. The meat and seafood section was also impressive, with a variety of options to choose from. The meat was well-cut and the seafood was fresh. On the other hand, I found the bakery section to be a bit underwhelming. The breads and pastries were not as fresh as I would have liked, and there were not many options to choose from. In terms of customer service, the staff was friendly and helpful. They were able to answer my questions and provide recommendations for products I was looking for. Overall, Apna Bazaar International grocery store is a decent option for those looking for international and ethnic foods. The selection is good, but the prices can be a bit high. I love how the staff are so helpful and friendly to everyone who shops and works there. I love the Islamic clothes store and the mango Lassi. I especially love how it's a warm welcoming store and that the prices are hard to beat anywhere else for Islamic halal food. I love apna Bazaar and I look forward to coming back for more shopping.😊☺️💖

Big store and has great collections. One place to get required groceries. Only one thing is really disappointed that is billing. Noticed miscalculation on my bill. This store offered 5% discount with student ID card. My total bill amount: $71.97 5% discount: $0.20 instead of $3.5 Not sure why !?

Over all not bad, just not very organized for example you find tea in 3 different places! Fresh vegetables are same as Walmart prices. You can find so many Indian foods but not many turkey or Arabic.

Huge store with a variety of items. One stop for complete Desi/International shopping. Has a designated , private and proper area for prayers which is much appreciated.

Great Pakistani Indian food market and restaurant. Love their kababs and beef nihari. Goat or chicken Biryani is decent too. Naan keep changing, I guess with chef or supplier changes, not sure. Samosas if fresh are good but I prefer taaza Mart and ice spice cafe samosa better. Another great thing is they have shezan Mango juice and rehmet e Shireen halwa and mithai/sweets from Karachi in the fridge section. Order and pay at the counter. And their prices are reasonable, not like $28 an entree.

Very large and spacious grocery store with a lot of products and fresh produce. The establishment has mostly Indian and Middle Eastern workers, products and culture, along with a few other nationalities! The vegetables could be more fresh. You'll find some sweets and imported chocolates/desserts in a few aisles! There is also a small Hispanic section in the back left. If you're looking for some good Basmati rice - come here. They also sell hookahs, tobacco flavors and whatnot. There is a wide variety of different spices (even in large packs) to choose from, so I'd definitely check that out!

Great Asian store at Tampa. Indian Pakistani and Bangladesi items available. Fresh produce and meat available. The produce place is a lot spacious ,hence feels less crowded. Could not help but notice special ramzan special items and a separate space for women jewellery. There is a food court for Indian food as well. We mistook this Apna BaZaar for another branch of these store as in NJ. As we entered the store, I noticed it isnt at all like the original Apna Bazaar stores in NJ. They have Indian, Pakistani and middle eastern stuff in this store. I also noticed the quality of the food was low especially the fresh produce. The store undoubtedly is super big. It was pretty busy though. They have some other tiny shops like jewellery, clothes. They’re running a restraurant that too inside the store.

Indian, middle eastern kind grocery store.. really specious..i guess the biggest of it's kind....tons of variety....a little bit on the pricey side... given almost majority of the product s are imported it's okay for me... could have been better in the vegetables section...not always fresh produce ....the delli or snacks section closes early..so plan ahead...okay parking...seems enough for now...

BIG BIG Apna bazar, but packed with customers, wares, and good prices. You feel like you are in India when you walk inside the store. You can get large quantities of spices here, fresh roti are usually on a table near the front, multitudinous snack offerings, and fresh vegetables are available, as well an assortment of household items. The prices are reasonable compared to highly hyped Orlando.

Best place to get Desi and Halal food. Pakistani and Indian Grocery, and Halal meet is available. Be careful with machine slaughtered meet, hand slaughtered meet is also available on request. Always check expiry dates on imported products. If you are missing desi products, this is the place where you can get almost everything desi, including Achar (pickle) and Desi Ghee. ❤️ It has a restaurant too within the store.

I recently ate at the Apna Bazaar Restaurant while I was in FL. The Paya, Nihari, Haleem, Butter chicken was just the best I have had. I have not found a place in Orange County, CA that makes anything close to this. The food was just DELICIOUS and the meats were so tender. Sohaib, the manager was very professional, friendly and took care of us. I DEFINITELY will send my friends/family there to eat. We need a restaurant like this in OC, CA! Recently purchased a 20lb bag of rice from this location and found bug larva inside the bag. For refund, they demanded to return the bag of rice with bug larva and the receipt. Since I live far from the store, it would cost me $40 to return a $17 rice bag. I asked if just the receipt would work since it did not make sense to keep a rice bag filled with bug larva at home till my next trip to the store but they were not willing to compromise in any aspect. The refund process is not realistic and extremely rigid. It would have been understandable if the refund was for more than $50.

Update, I changed the review from 3 to 4 stars due to another kind gentleman offering us replacement samosas in lieu of the raw ones we received! A good store with a nice selection of items ranging from sweets to spices, yet a major improvement should be customer service. My husband and I initially tried the chicken tikka roll and loved it so we came back again. We ordered many other items to try. The samosas we had were raw. My hubby took a bite only to taste the raw dough. When we talked to the person at the food area, he only stated that he sold 150 samosas and did not offer us another better cooked one, although we showed him the raw dough. Also I feel that cashiers can be a bit more friendly and say a hello or how are you. There were two female cashiers who were having a conversation with each other and completely ignored us. We said thank you and we’re waiting for the total, and after a long awkward pause I just put my card in. They didn’t even make eye contact. Please improve customer service. I won’t be shopping here again because a customer doesn’t deserve to be treated as if they are invisible.

I have been a customer of Apna Bazaar since 2002!!! I have never been disappointed. I drive an hour away to buy Halaal/ kosher meats and other products for my home and always find what I’m looking for. They are always fully stocked, employees are friendly and attentive and store is clean. I even call ahead with orders and they are always ready. They have recently been blessed with expanding to a larger building and it’s equally as impressive as their small store. I recommend my friends to them all the time especially when they are asking about nice spicy kebabs and ready made delights. Thank you Apna bazaar for being my go to store!!!

I love the new location! The vegetables are fresh and well kept with a beautiful selection of a wide variety of roots, squash and greens as well as other staple and ethnic vegetables and fruits. A tempting array of spices, shelf-staples and ready to heat foods are also available at reasonable prices. Many hard to find options are abundantly available from multiple packagers. Scrumptious Indian curry sauces, dried fruits and tempting snacks galore! Today I got Indian okra, Italian eggplant, beet root, purple sweet potatoes, baking dates, pickled turnips, oil-cured olives, naan, tea biscuits, garam marsala and teas as well as scrumptious samosa at their hot, ready to eat spot. I truly recommend checking out Apna!

Apna's new location is very convenient and big. Gone are the days of being crowded! What they have in stock is unpredictable, so if you think this will be your one-stop shop, be prepared to have to make a quick stop elsewhere. I was very heartened the first time I went in and saw such a wonderful variety of vegetables. Some of the veggies lacked labelling, which I attributed to their having opened a few days earlier. However, it's been a while now and on my latest trip the lack of labelling became an even bigger problem. The produce is not clearly labelled at all and so it is quite difficult for someone who is less of an expert in ingredients or Indian cooking to efficiently get what they need. I've cooked dozens of different Indian foods and was confused, so I can only imagine how a true novice would feel. I was really looking forward to trying some new dishes with new ingredients from my latest trip. Instead, I left without getting everything I wanted as lack of clear labelling was a serious detriment. I'll be giving Apna another shot--really really want this to work out as its location on Fowler is quite convenient to me--, but will have to go back to the other Indian grocery store (Patel) if the labelling issue does not improve.

If you want halal meat for reasonable price, this place is a good choice. However, Asian fish seems way overpriced. And unlike the Chinese stores, they don't clean the scales. Huge selection of Eastern and middle Eastern groceries. That also serve halal meat and now have their own restaurant which serves Indian cuisine. Service is sparse and inconsistent, though. You're not sure which individual works there as no one wears a store uniform. There also isn't a speedy check out lane for anyone with a few items. Aside from that, this place is a one-stop shop for anyone looking to shop imported groceries from Eastern cultures.

This place is one of the larger halal markets that also carry turkish brands and products. There is A LOT of variety, it can get confusing but if you have time there is a masjid and it can be fun to explore every aisle and discover different products. They don't just sell food, also some traditional kitchen gear, cleaning products, clothing and jewelery. I think there is also a restaurant inside.

Their new store is very big and pretty reasonable prices with lot of choices of Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi and Arabic groceries. They got a cafeteria inside, a traditional Indian dress store and an Islamic goods and jewellery store inside. Sufficient parking space is available and it is within the main area, neighboring the University Mall and lot of other stores surrounding it.

Good place for halal poultry and meat. Do check the expiry date of the items, it happened to me twice that they were either too close or passed. Customer service is good, they apologized and removed those items immediately.

But be careful with the pricing and price listing. sometime they overcharge.I asked for 5 lb of beef mix, they gave me beef and put sticker of goat mix which is double the price. It was the only store in Tampa Florida where I could get hall meat.Products of Pakistan,India and of other sub continent countries available .Cleanliness like India,messy and full of dirt.Washvroom dirty.Staff helpful,some Pakistani and others from India. Even the butchers shop staff was from Egypt. One thing which I noticed again and again was that they constantly cheat the customers by giving lamb meat to customers and telling them its mutton ! Meat service slow.Rates high. Owners are from Faisalabad, Pakistan doing business in United states with many stores to there credit. Needs more supervision.Very popular with muslims. They recently moved to this new location and it was a good decision. It's open, has more products and easily navigable compared to the small old location. They have a nice selection of fresh produce for betyer prices than publix and most other grocery stores. They have Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, and Arabic as well as Hispanic products. There is also a restaurant inside plus a nail salon and small jewelery store cum LED booth.

It is quite huge therefore many options. In addition a restaurant Bathrooms are horrendous. People just go and come and don't even look after themselves. Situation has gotten so bad Janitors have given up. I, unaware, went to use the restrooms. All I can tell you is that my nostrils have yet to recovered from what I witnessed.

Apna Bazar is a good place to find groceries from Pakistan, India, and Middle Eastern countries. They also have a butcher shop with fresh halal meat. There is a restaurant that serves great food, but they need to be more quick at cleaning the tables. We ordered haleem, chapli kabab, and kadahi chicken...pics are haleem and chapli kabab.

Cool place. Cant read Arabic for some stuff so thats on me. Really nice girls at the register... few reasons why im giving ot 4 out of 5... 1) several isles had the same thing... like fenugreek would be on isle 5 and 7. Candied dates on isle 3 and 6, and there were more instances of that. (2) kept getting the stink eye from an old man and two ladies that worked there... pretty sure it was because i was a single lady ( jeans and a t-shirt) coming in without a male or any kind and i wasn't covered from head to toe. However, the younger lady who worked the register was super nice and understood its the US, people dress like this all the time. Also and to end on a good note; they have goat meat... which I've only been to find frozen, so having it fresh was awesome. So thats why 4 of 5 instead of 5 of 5.
