I really love this produce stand. They always have super fresh stuff that looks so much better than grocery store produce. Look at the color of the tomatoes! All the basics plus some asian veggies and over 20 different types of apples. The prices are totally reasonable. I always stop by when I'm in the area.

Top Banana is a GREAT local spot for Xmas trees! Extremely friendly staff with all the patients and advice you could want. It's a pretty small lot, but they pack it with great fresh and healthy trees and are constantly bringing more in. They're organic naturally raised local trees that make you feel good for getting one. They're a little spendy ($15/ft) but we think it's well worth it for supporting a good small company. They're happy to cut a fresh slice off the notice, wrap it up in twine, and tie it to your roof at no additional cost. We ALWAYS come here for our trees and love them.

I love this place. Great seasonal produce as well as local eggs, milk, honey, and more. Open 8-8 7 days a week. It's like my own mini Pike Place Market at the end of my block. Espresso stand is top notch also.

This place is amazing. We have been getting our groceries delivered during covid and the produce has been sub-par. This fresh produce market has not a lot of traffic, super friendly staff and produce that is great! The prices are way better than average and way less stress than a grocery store. It's now our go to spot every week.

Always excellent produce! Reasonable prices. You’ll always know what fruits are in season when you shop here. Wonderful Washington apples and pears! Tasty California citrus! Scrumptious Texas grapefruit. Small shop. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Only 50¢ for card purchases less than $10. Midwinter gets more expensive but still delicious South American fruit (cherries, stone fruit, etc). They always have the biggest poblanos and if I can’t find tomatillos at the regular grocery, they always have some. They also get in fun stuff like purple Brussels sprouts, kumquats, & blood oranges. Love this place. Go multiple times a week.

One of a kind place in Seattle. While large grocery chains are occupying everywhere, this corner produce spot offers you what you wanted living in the PNW. Fresh and ready produce from LOCAL farmers without breaking the bank! One take away is the produce is picked and ready to be eaten right away, so ideally "stocking up" will leave you with rotted food if you don't pay attention. All in all, it's worth it and only get my produce here.

Great coffee and delicious pastries. But my favorite thing on the menu was the oatmeal. Smooth, creamy texture, plenty of fresh fruit and a very tasty granola, but not too much of either to overwhelm the oatmeal. A very nice dish and great before a day skiing. (we were there in Feb).

Great variety of in-season fruits and vegetables as well as a small selection of dairy products and condiments. Prices are a fraction of what they charge at nearby grocery stores. They also sort out overripe or bruised fruit and sell them at a lower price. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. You couldn't ask for more from a small neighborhood produce stand.

I just love this little gem. The staff is always very helpful, and I appreciate the fruits and veggies that are locally sourced. When farmers markets just aren't really around right now with the pandemic, this is a breath of fresh air. Cute and small, but almost everything I need. They are prepped for COVID with sanitized baskets that have elongated handles on wheels, and people seem to maintain their distance. The produce is plentiful and prices are super reasonable. It's an open air space, and very homey. They even have local honeys (the sap, not the hot chicks lol), and breads, and carry Smith Brothers dairy products. I love coming here when I'm up in that area. NOTE: If you use WAZE to get there, somehow the destination point is off by a couple blocks, might be better to plug in their actual address.

I visit weekly for the best prices on fruits and veggies around. The produce is literally coming in off the truck. Even in the winter the selection is wide. I'll make quick stops to get the daily specials, produce that is still great but has a expiration of the next day or two. Perfect for if your craving strawberries and only want to pay a dollar or two.

The produce is excellent at this place and the prices on local are excellent. Rainier cherries were only $2.00 a lb at one point as opposed to $5 at other markets in the area. They also have an assortment of local dairy, specialty meats, some sandwiches in a little cooler on the counter, chips, LOCAL HONEY (got allergies? It helped mine so much...), local brand hot sauces... The works.

Nice place. Good place to buy produce inexpensively. No need to go to the expensive grocery stores (QFC, Safeway, etc.) and pay top dollar for the privilege of purchasing humongous specimens that had the taste bred out of them. Top Banana has lots of Washington state fruit at good prices.

If you like ride fresh fruit and aren't upset by a few blemishes this is the place. You can't let produce you buy here sit around. It's ripe and ready to go. I only buy 3-4 days of fruit st a time here, but get great value.

Great produce stand with great fruit. Good veggies too. They don't get 5 stars because they don't take EBT. I've heard different excuses for this reason over the years, but I've seen other fruit stands in the city (Rainer beach even!) that take it so, who knows? Whatever the case may be on that, the quality of the food is generally good.

We went to Top Bananas because the Ballard Farmers Market can't sell you anything before 10am. Top Banana is A great place to get your fruits and vegetables. They open 7 days a week from 8 to 8, and Jimmy, who runs the shop is friendly and helpful. He helped us pick the best grocery.

We got our tree from Top Banana and couldn't be happier! $12 bucks a foot and they have the Ballard High students unwrapping them and putting them into stands in the lot. I saw every possible height, width, fullness, sparseness, etc. They also put it up on your car for you. Super energetic and friendly staff, even in this dreary weather.
