High prices— but great variety of items. You’ll be sure to find the snack you’re looking for at Parnell’s. There are a lot of cameras, so be sure not to pick out that wedgie before entering or lest you be captured on CCV. ;) I decided to check out this mini mart on my way home after an evening walk. I am worried about the survival of this mart given the location of the Amazon Fresh. Looking forward to spending more money here in the future with friends and children.

Great customer service! This place offers a wide variety of products and prices are very reasonable. I’m always surprised by their selection, for example, the other day my wife sent me to the grocery store to pick up some ingredients for dinner. On my way home I realized I forgot to grab some onions she had requested. A blanket of terror came over me and I began to panic...and then in the distance I saw the heavenly glow that is Parnell’s Mini-Mart. I walked in and sure enough they had a great selection of onions to choose from. Long story short, I am still happily married, and it’s all thanks to Parnell’s Mini-Mart.

Great neighborhood market. Basically a fully stoked bodega minus the sandwich counter. Wine severely marked up, oddly, but everything else is good quality and reasonably priced (their freezer section rules). Great local business to support

A wonderful local establishment. Like others have commented, the stock is very comprehensive for a corner market and the owners are very welcoming! I truly hope to see them continue to stay afloat through the pandemic and the larger stores coming at 23rd & Jackson. If you’re in the area or passing by and need of goods, stop at Parnell’s!

I love this mini mart, the nicest people on the planet own and run this store. I am really sad that the construction has affected the business here. I think they need to be compensated for real because I cannot get there. This business has been around for so many years and is part of the neighborhood with many people loving them.

If you're in the Central District and walking to the Walgreens for food, go here instead. The food is the same price, and the local family running this shop are kind and funny. Worth it to support a small, neighborhood family shop.
