Reviews of M2M Mart

Was excited for this to open in our neighborhood. Really love the produce selection. It’s what you expect in an Asian market. The space is nice and new and love the location.
My concern is that every snack item we were interested in had palm oil in it. That is a big contributor to deforestation and wildlife. The overwhelming plastic packaging (mostly individual) was almost traumatic. Just so much single use plastic used.
Will go to get some produce. Got a fruit that did not realize one piece would end up being $13.
On Sundays recommend the farmers market before going here.
It’s nice to see a coffee shop in there.
For people working to be more plant based this was definitely a produce only space.

Fun very clean and cosmopolitan store. Very well organized. Opened 5 months ago and Caries many Asian foods but not limited.

All sorts of stuff here! Need to pick up some sake next time, which there is plenty of. Nice people, great selection. Grabbed some sushi last night coming back from the airport via the light rail -- pretty affordable, actually (the sushi). And we got this cute little nutella bottle, maybe 1inch high. That'll be a stocking stuffer for sure. Fresh produce is in the back on the south side of the store; most of the checkout spots are on the north side. We took a look at the pasties, too, but it was a little late in the day, or felt late because the sky gets so dang dark this time of year, which is, strangely, something I usually love because the dark makes mystery run back over the world and any warm inside space feels so, so, so cozy. M2M will do that to you too. If it is too wet or too cold outside, you won't regret ducking in here :]

Definitely not "Morning-to-Midnight", more like "Morning-to-Nine-pm" 🤦🏻 have a decent amount of okay food, but their rice plates in the Deli can be dried out and crispy sometime, some people might be into that, I'm not 🤷🏻 and those rice plates used to taste good when the store first started, but now, well, not as much anymore. Also, no more spicy peanuts???

Welcome to the neighborhood, M2M!!!
M2M is H Mart’s “urban convenience format” the company has been rolling out in select markets; The New York-based Korean grocery chain is so named, M2M, meaning “morning to midnight”; The Capitol Hill branch is open 9am to 9:30pm.
During this month’s Grand Opening, I literally cried tears (of joy) and almost bawled out loud AT LONG LAST after living on Capitol Hill for 21 years we now have a full service Asian Market YAY!! And so the hood is complete (for me) IMHO.
Albeit the broad selection is skewed to Korean consumers (such as pickled cabbage / kimchi, laver/seaweed, cold or frozen noodles as well an in store bakery, Touts le Jour).
Decidedly Asian this store also includes sections for: fresh meat & seafood, sushi, deli, fresh produce (fruits & veggies), dishware, kitchen gadgets, cosmetics, teas, sauces, many varieties of vinegar, snack foods (both sweet & savory), and noodles - all manner of noodles!
All that and more on only just the main floor; I can barely wait for the 2nd floor to open!
I can -and will- shop here EVERYDAY!!!

Place is rad! Has all my favorite Japanese candies and snacks from my childhood all sorts off yummy fun different stuff! But lots of the typical Asian market stuff as well. You won't be disappointed. Fun for a quick lunch or a grocery shop. Love to take my child here.

Convenient urban [mostly] Asian market. The variety of brands and offerings was really excellent. Was surprised to see the number of American brands available which makes shopping there extra convenient, such as hot sauces and beer. Would highly advise not to get their sashimi. Compared to H Mart the flavor was very off and ended up throwing it out instead of risking questionable raw fish. Prices higher than other marketplaces, but this is expected for a smaller specialized shop.
