First, this store has improved massively over the last few months. Hands down the best customer service now. This place doesn't look inviting from the outside but when you step in you are greeted with friendly faces. Come inside to find a warm and inviting environment, met with the smell of fresh tacos and the most amazing munchies and drinks avaliable in capital hill. Best beer and wine selection around. Rotating new items weekly makes revisiting this place fun to discover whats new await my taste buds. Holy blunt wraps batman! they have the largest selection I have ever seen. THEY HAVE FONTA LEAVES! Not to mention one of the last places you can find a pack of cigarettes in Seattle for under $10 dollars. Overall coming to this store quickly feels like walking into your best friends place. FREE PARKING on the side of the building (check the spots) for customer.

I love this place. Most snacks you will recognize and then tons of munchies you never imagined. Tons of wine and beers, if you need Swishers or zig zags, wraps and even Kratom. These guys main demographic is street folk and they embrace almost everyone.you have to be trying hard to not like the staff here. But they love their customers and it shows.

Lived next door to this market for many years, it was my favorite place to grab a little snack when the mood hit. Prices are what you would expect from a corner market (a bit higher than a grocery store). Place is always clean. Employees are friendly.

Staff is very helpful and nice. And they are staying stocked on things that are currently hard to find in grocery stores, such as cleaning products and first aid products. They also have a good wine selection, and they have fresh citrus. Easy access to beverage making supplies without having to go to the grocery store is really nice, especially right now. As is access to things you can't even get an Amazon during the pandemic so far!

Less expensive than City Market with a good selection of beer and wine. Just wish they reenforced wearing a mask as often as I get carded for buying beer when I’m almost twice the legal age.

Good "corner market" with a great selection of beer and wine. Prices are reasonable and not over-priced like other places on the Hill.

Man these people are great! They have whatever you could possibly need and if not they could get it ordered into the store. Definitely my go to store when I’m on the hill.

I have never had any problems with Hillcrest and I go there almost everyday. I also play soccer with someone who knows Jin and they introduced me to him a few days ago. If you have any problems with Hillcrest market maybe you should sit down and talk to the owners personally and not complain about it on the internet.
