Reviews of H Mart Downtown Seattle
It's really great to find a grocery store with this kind of selection in the middle of a metropolitan city.
We were staying at a nearby hotel and found it very convenient to pick up groceries from here.
Good selection of Asian goods.
On our stay of 6 days we went there 3, so we must have liked it a lot.
Their Soju and sake selection is pretty big, so if you want to drink for less in your hotel room, this is a great place to go.
They are open until 930pm
Tried the fried chicken. The flavor is great but we didn't get it fresh.
I was on my way to the Pike Place Market and had a chance to stop by H Mart. It seems like this location is smaller but cleaner and neater than others. All food items are stocked and diversified but quite expensive than other nearby stores’. Sometimes, I do come to buy anything but just so satisfy my eyes with colorful, beautiful, and unique items listed in the store. I highly recommend this store to anyone
Great little store in the heart of downtown. Plenty of great food offerings. They have kimchi! Huzzah! Prepared food, produce, staple goods. Staff was friendly and helpful. Clean. I'll add more pictures later. Am too hungry!
Super cool Asian focused market with a ready to eat bistro with variations of fried chicken marinated pork and beef seafood Rice all ready to go and the best part it's self serve. It's kind of more expensive to buy certain stuff here. Ice cream for instance will run you 3 dollars more than what you could pay at a gas station. All in all way better than the target on the next street and about 30 times more safe
I like this place. It has the stuff I need like cilantro, curry leaves, shredded coconut and some really good instant ramen. The only problem is the vague pricing. At the cash counter, the cashier tries their best to identify what the produce is and then charges you according to a price sheet. For example, I bought coconut with the brown shell and they thought it was young coconut and charged me for that. Same with the potatoes, they identified white potatoes as yellow and charged me for that.
Excellent Asian supermarket in downtown Seattle with good selection, reasonable prices and service that was clean. They also have a prepared foods section with discounts on items near the end of the day. Decent produce section with some non Asian food items as well. Excellent option for groceries if you are in downtown.
Has a lot packed in small store. Variety selection of cuisine (meals, produce, meat, frozen items, drinks, noodles, etc.). Staff moves checkout lines quickly. Have shopped there many times when near downtown.
We were visiting Mo pop and rode the Monorail over to Pike Place market. As we were walking to we saw this H mart. We've been to quite a few H marts and this one is really well stocked. They had a hot case with wings, they have Cold Case sashimi, they had a huge selection of ramen. Nice music playing. We really enjoyed going and looking at this H mart. We found our fave unagi kikkoman sauce.
Attended opening day and found the store to be well stocked and clean with a nice selection of fresh produce, ready to eat foods, frozen foods, and pantry necessities.
This is a small, basement location and has limited shelf space so the inventory is not as extensive as Uwajimaya but this H Mart definitely carries all the basics plus really popular specialty items.
There's also a deli and hot food item area for grab & go food with a small seating area that's very convenient.
This place has a lot more options with Korean groceries than District H. Both awesome places but I probably will not go to District H unless I am in the neighborhood and need something quick. So glad an H mart opened up in this part of Seattle. I wish their meat selection was better and they had more meat options.
Awesome new location! I'm used to the University Way location, which is more cramped but still nice. The hot food bar and seating area for eating seems really really nice! Can't wait to try the fried chicken and ddukbokki 😋 …
JC One Liner Review: Adequately maintained and stocked! The cleaned H Mart location I have ever visited in Washington or any other state.
It almost seemed they hired an employee with OCD - all items are organized very nicely, and they stocked it that the brand names are facing you. The store is not small, either. It surely looked like they stepped up their game. I hope they keep this up.
This location will be a massive plus for the downtowners.
Small but clean HMart, I was walking to Pikeplace market so decided to check it out. To go food, u can pick up bucket of chicken with Korean seasoning, hot food options: Korean pancakes, chef special, rice bowls. Cold to go food like sushi, poke bowl, and many more options. It can be pricy than other Asian markets that is not in downtown.
Pacific Northwest's premium K-grocery chain; convenient downtown location a block from Pike Place Market; take the escalator down to underground shopping for all of your Korean/Asian produce, meats, seafood, ingredients, snacks, gifts, alcohol, etc. + K-style fried chicken baskets, Mama's bowls, kimbop, etc. to-go 👍 …
This is a mini H Mart located in downtown Seattle by Pike Place market.
Space is at a premium at this location but they seem to fill it with a huge amount of Asian grocery goods. After you come down the escalator, the deli and quick food options are on your right side. Throughout the rest of the space, they have a huge assortment of groceries that you take your time and check out. They have everything a typical H Mart has just minus the fresh fish section.
I was annoyed that the cashier put my popsicles in the bag and then set 2 hot food plates right on top of them, then when I asked for a second bag, she said 9 cents, I had only a 20, she asked if I had anything smaller. I didn't. I would have just given a bag at that point, but she made change and I left.
A must stop for an affordable meal and tasty treats! The best to go dinner as pikes market closes around 5:30/6. A to go meal is only 9.99! What a steal!
Very clean and organize, asian food.
Fun grocery store with lots of exotic items, but prices are a bit high for what you get and surprisingly lacking some of the basics
Surprised there in one in downtown Seattle. Smaller in size but has a lot of the Korean items I can't get back home. Just some random items I found in h Mart.
I Love my Neighborhood H-Mart ! An Internationally - oriented well-rounded grocery, convenience,specialty shoppe.
Well-varied, Curious items, from actual Asian body wash-cloths(the BEST), to fresh cilantro for your home-made salsa. From an authentic bamboo steamer to your favorite European Beer...and candy...LOTS of candy!
A moderately-priced, primarily Asian in authentic cuisine and seasonings, yet there are still sufficient choices of exotic gastronimic speciality items, along with those of a traditional American palette.
The key element to all the shoppe's carefully chosen products: EACH and ALL are fresh and of brands of 1st Quality, not reduced nor sacrfriced for novelty nor simply inclusion into a wider market.
Having more convenient hours than other nearby, somewhat similar stores - none of which approaching the variety of H-Mart - I find myself shopping here more often, and for more variety of items than I expected to find in one location. Three Thumbs Up!!👍👍👍
It's a grocery store with a deli, a ramen aisle, and Asian snacks. I love it
Great selection and friendly staff. I didn't give 5 stars because a lot of items weren't priced.
During my stay in Seattle, H-Mart has become my happy place. I've been going nearly every day for almost two weeks. Why? Because...there is deli-fresh Korean fried chicken, Pocky of many flavors, a variety of cold coffee and tea drinks, potato/banana/cassava chips...
💜 YUM💜
In addition, there is a good selection of fresh produce and grocery items (including essentials for cooking like lime leaves, Thai basil, Thai and Indian eggplant, curry paste, noodles and rice stacked to the heavens, coconut milk), cheese, milk, cream, and meats.
This seemingly small store is much larger and well-stocked than it appears from the storefront on Pine Street.
Plus, the cashiers are so pleasant and nice, too! 5/5 ⭐
Great place to pick up tasty snacks. Their marinated beef bulgogi and spicy pork are great for cooking. At lunch they have a bunch of ready-to-eat to go meals. Parking can be challenging downtown. The staff there are always super nice.
great selection of grapes! tons of variety you can't get elsewhere. nice selection of hot meals for reasonable prices, especially considering the overpriced downtown area it's in. lots of good snacks and drinks here as well. the staff are super nice and there's security on site. masks are currently required. awesome place to grab an affordable bite to eat while walking around downtown!
Great interior and they have great variety. Most comfy grocery place to shop in seattle downtown.
Loved this kind of hidden little store. Great affordable place with some of the most amazing Japanese coffee I've ever had. I would recommend stopping in this tiny little place as it's unique and kind of cool hidden gem.
Awesome store, it took me back to when I lived in Japan. It is very clean and the staff really helpful.
An amazing abundance of dry goods and fresh produce, all, of course, with a focus on difficult to find Asian varieties. Generally good prices. I love this place. Well lit, which for an older customer like myself, is important.
So glad that this opened up in downtown Seattle. Pretty decent space with great selection of Asian food. From vegetables, meat, to frozen stuff, snacks, drinks, it’s a great place to do grocery shopping!
I lived in Virginia and love hmart. They're none where I live. This is a very nice and well stocked store. It's a great place for a visitor to buy snacks and stuff in a big urban city. If you like to cook Asian food and lived in Seattle, this would be a weekly stop.
Nice store, not completely up and running with all inventory yet.
Amazed by the huge inventory. You can even buy frozen whole Atlantic Macrell there
Well stocked Korean centered Asian grocery. Selection is not nearly as expansive as the larger Federal Way or Shoreline locations, but clean, well organized and tidy. Knowledgeable and helpful employees. Will shop here until the Capitol Hill location opens.
We got all we needed there during our week long trip near Pike Place Market. To take advantage of the Seattle experience, I recommend getting milk, eggs, bananas, bread, fruits that you like, and bacons for breakfast while staying in a place that you can cook near Pike Place Market.
Amazing selection and nobody is throwing fish. They have fresh hot fried chicken buckets and plenty of bento options. Best grab and go selection of great PNW varieties and imports of all sorts. You can grab some great omiage if you are travelling! (It's down stairs/escalator)
I have a feeling this is going to be my go-to grocery spot downtown now. No shady characters loitering outside, great produce prices, and plenty of exotic fruits and spices
I'm so excited to find another Asian grocer even closer to my home. I had not seen it earlier, because it's in the basement of its building, but it's a great little find. The vegetable and fruit selection is fresh and varied. Like District H (another favorite), they have fresh poke and sashimi as well. Of course, they also have all the standard supplies for Asian cooking as well, or at least as much as they can for a small, downtown market. I am very pleased to have found them. Oh, also the cashiers are very pleasant and quick at the register.
Quite small compared to Lynnwood's H Mart and the goodies are mostly Korean stuff. I was looking for some Filipino goodies but saw none.
The Cashier was really nice though.
On the smaller end of the spectrum due to being located in downtown, but great for quick trips. If you need to make a large haul or are looking for very specialized ingredients you're better off heading to Uwajimaya or somewhere larger. Checkout is usually fast and easy.
THE most amazing Korean food store in the the city of Seattle. Tons of super delicious and healthy foods are available for you at good prices. Plan to spend some time there to look at your favorite foods that you can eat.
They have a great Deli with hot food. Many different lunch options. Great selection of noodles, ice cream and candies. I couldn't believe I found Mars candy bars there. The checkout staff is always very friendly too. Great store.
Kind employees, great variety of Asian food and pantry. The cashier line is fast. The floors and shelves are clean and well organized. Good experience overall, I would recommend it to friends.
This is chiefly a Korean grocery store located in the heart of the downtown Seattle area. It is only one or two blocks away from the Pike Place Market. Keep in mind that the store is located on the lower level of its' location...you must use the escalator to reach the shopping area. I can't recall at this time if an elevator was available.
I have never seen such a giant selection of noodles 😃!
I enjoy shopping at HMart. The store employees are very helpful. The only thing I would change, are the paper bags used for shopping. They should have some bigger plastic bags for carrying heavier loads for the pedestrians that live neary, and for those of us who chose to walk.
Downtown Asian supermarket. Prices slightly higher than other location but if you’re looking for kimchi / kbbq / other Asian foods in a pinch. Reasonable. For tourists visiting Pike Place easy way to grab something new and enjoy views.
I was amazed at how beautiful the store was!
There was everything I needed to make dinner in my new neighborhood. I found delicious foods I'd never eaten before. Everybody was so nice & kind to me. Thank you for letting me feel at home.
Derreck.
Convenient location in downtown closed to Pike Place Market. You can find most Asian foods there including Asian produce and fruits, snacks and tofu. Clean and neat displaying items on shelves and refrigerator. It is in basement of a commercial building. There is escalator and elevator for easy access.
H Mart is fantastic. This little grocery story is larger than you might expect and featured a great selection of essentials alongside a terrific of Asian stables that were once only available at Uwajamaya or in small shops in Seattle’s International District. They have a wonderful grab-and-go area, good produce, dairy, snacks and liquor including a solid selection of Sake. All in a clean, accessible, and well lit environment with a super friendly staff.
If you’re nearby and need groceries, or inspiration for your next meal, H Mart is a great place to go.
I was looking for a quick place to have a bite on a drizzly Saturday, and this was just the right place! They had a vast selection of hot meals at reasonable prices, along with lots of other snack options. I will definitely be returning!
Great little shop that sells everything. Got some bread and it was incredibly soft. Staff at check out were really nice too.
I like this H Mart, it's layout is intuitive and they have a good selection, however, it is smaller than what I'm used to in Tacoma. But that isn't a criticism, it's the space they're working with. Their selections of items are very good so if you're not looking for something that may be out of the ordinary or super specific, you should find it there.
Plus, all the staff are super upbeat, positive, and helpful!
The people who work here are always so sweet and friendly! The store is consistently well stocked and very clean. Even though this HMart is small, I love coming here.
Fantastic! For a small grocery store. Very well organized, and so much to choose from. A little expensive. But where at in Seattle isn't expensive?
Finally! An Asian grocery store in the downtown core. You can expect Asian food staples here, as well as some to-go hot and cold foods.
It's located just a couple blocks from the Moore Theater and Pike Place Market. No parking, and it is a little hidden being located in a downstairs unit.
The prices are adjusted for downtown (for instance, gimbap is $5.99 for about 8 pieces, which compared to gimbaps in other Hmarts is more expensive per piece). Even so, the food is great and I'm putting this on my list of affordable places to eat in downtown Seattle.
Such a surprise. The selection was almost overwhelming, it was soo varied. If you want it, they probably have it. Prices were very reasonable. We bought far more than we planned. Simply, bc the prices were, too good to be true. Then, went back to our hotel for our late night snack and the food was totally delicious. Will definitely visit them again.
Pretty, deceptively little, market in downtown that turns into a proper grocery store when you go in. I was with a friend, not shopping, just snooping. It was nice and clean well run, fish looked wonderful, I was truly surprised by the variety of products given the size.. which, it turned out, was considerably larger inside. I was impressed
Absolutely hands down 👏 the best produce available city-wide and that's a fact not an advertisement. I initially went into this store for something else and got sidetracked out of the corner of my eye seeing the produce department and almost did a back flip because I'd never seen anything like it in the entire downtown Seattle area. I didnt take a photo but I will and I'll update this post.
HMart has the best lunch take out and instant food options in the city. It's always very clean and well stocked. So many milk tea options and their fruit is always at peak freshness.
H-Mart was a savior to many in our neighborhood during the stay at home order. Since it is a neighborhood market I could shop quite often in a
safe atmosphere with people wearing mask, and with excellent sanitary conditions and great service . Great food selection with a large variety of foods . It would been a lot more difficult if they were not around. And they continue as resections get lighter to be there for us. Very happy with them indeed.
Unique things at this store. I have been looking for Hello kitty gum for my daughter but sadly I can not find it anywhere
I'm going to be doing my grocery shopping here for a long time. Even though it's certainly Korean-based (nothing wrong with that), there's still heaps of products outside of it to choose from.
I recommend skipping the more expensive freshly made warm entrees as you enter (unless that's your goal, because it's still good) and swing around to all the cheaper cold goods. The veggie section is decent for what's in season.
Still, it's like having a smaller Uwajimaya close to downtown and it's well run.
I love this place, the short rib kalbi don was delicious with a perfect blend of spice and flavor, plus whatever you would want from toothpicks. chopsticks, coconut water Nd the list could go on forever. ill definitely be back again.
Great Asian food store in the heart of downtown. Not as big as some of their other locations, but still great selection.
Great selections of foods and snacks hot food is discounted at night. Some items are hard to look for but the young cashier girl was super helpful and nice
Great selection of Korean/Japanese brands, freshly prepared food, and a comprehensive set of fruit and veg.
They'll learn not to have spirits in an open cabinet downtown (how much can one of our alcohol addiction impacted citizens drink before they are caught?)
This is a great resource for anyone wanting to cook their own Asian food.
Always something yummy to buy here. The cold (like sushi)🍣 and hot foods (like don buri)🥘 are amazing! Fresh fruits and veggies too! 🍈Lots of Asian brands to be found here. Priced nice too! My favorite place for grocery shopping or grabbing a quick bite!❤❤❤ …
The veggies are super fresh, especially the green chillies and curry leaves. Noodles are authentic and they have almost everything that you love about asian food and more.
Produce is okay and due to size, everything is a at a smaller scale. I feel like this is due to the location, making the drive to other locations may be best. Easy spot to get to in a pinch!
I love H mart! Great produce, lots of variety, great deli with Korean staples and specialties. Clean and convenient. Really glad they opened downtown and hope they stay!!
Really great produce! Always pleasant shopping experience. I don’t know why it took me so long to find out there’s an H Mart downtown! I live in Belltown and this is now my go-to grocery store.
So grateful it's downtown, as it offers fresh fruits and veggies, hot and cold prepared foods, and every staple you could want. Add to this, a VERY LARGE collection of sweets, candies and confections.
So many things to try and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Try the Rolin prepared squid. You can eat it right out of the bag! They say it's an acquired taste, but I don't recall who I acquired it from.
Nice place to shop at for snacks, drinks and groceries. There is a section where you can buy quick hot food, such as sushi, sukiyaki beef bowls or other Japanese meals . There is a small seating area where you can eat your food and a microwave is there so you can heat it up. The food is pretty good if you're looking for something quick and easy!
I love this store's atmosphere, selection and general staff!
BUT please be aware as BIPOC member, that some security staff are extremly aggressive! My daughter was surrounded wherever she went in the store and was accused of stealing with no evidence. She was followed upstairs and the security guard even tried to touch her. I am not sure what would have happened if I did not interfere. She is more shy and felt uncomfortable about his behavior. Again, no evidence!
Management needs to do a much better job training their security employees.
Sadly, based on her experience, we both will no longer shop there.
A clean environment with a large variety of products.
Wow! Such great selection. Very clean and organized. I wish I was a local, I would frequent this place!
Great place to pick up unique and hard to find vegetables. And you can get a hot meal to go at a good price.
I love the quaintness of this location, service is very friendly. They have quite a selection of a variety of items. This location is a better equipped grocery store than the U-district location. I especially like to buy as much makgeolli as possible whenever I shop at any H-Mart. (the green bottle)
Great mart, always have unique food. Had some BBQ chicken that was very underwhelming.
Great place to a prepared box lunch of your Korean favorites. You can get some groceries here with Korean produce and a great place to shop for Asian condiments in downtown Seattle.
Great selection and fresh produce. Everything I need to make my favorite Thai dishes. They always have kafir lime leaf which is sometimes hard to find.
Good Korean supermarket with lots of wines, a good place to go if you want some korean foods.
This was a nice new hmart, it is located underground so they have an escalator but dont worry they also have an elevator as well. the number of cashier and the checkout stands are limited but that's expected of a city store. It was very hard for me to spot while driving since the sign was smaller than expected and it was right on the door so when I started walking, I could spot it.
the store has varieties of fresh produce and more with a 7(?) table area next to the checkout stands for those who want to eat or needs to wait while the others shop. I'm happy they have many different kinds of to go packed food that anyone can grab out to eat.
the reason I only gave 4 stars is because the store seems still pretty empty and is still setting up, I'll happily change the rating when it becomes more filled.
This is now one of the best grocery stores downtown.
I love H-Mart. The customers respect social distancing and they have a pretty decent selection for a downtown grocery store. Also, they're close to my house which is 100% a bonus. I don't have to go all the way to the ID to go to Uwajimaya to get my fish balls.
Love this place. Amazing selections and quality authentic items - my Korean partner’s must-go.
First time making it down there and it's such a unique place with lots of interesting food options. Very clean and nice layout.
A newer location in downtown Seattle, very spacious and with large selection of items. Fruit, veggies, meat, snacks, seasoning, ramen, all sort of noodles, all you need for grocery. There is also a hot food area, bb.q Chicken sold there. It was a great visit, will definitely visit again.
Grocery shopping in HMart is so much fun. There is a wide varies of snacks and instant noodles which I have never tried. They also have fresh Korean food(kimchi, spicy fish cakes) which are really good.
Clean and organized...
PLUS their produce selection is far more inviting than most of the major grocery store chains... Specifically the QUALITY and FRESHNESS of their produce leaves most other stores in the dust. (Or however that saying goes)
Cheap and wide variety of groceries (especially Korean) in a convenient and walkable location in downtown. Always love the grab-n-go hot food options whenever I'm too lazy to cook.
First time in an Hmart and it won't be my last. Instantly fell in love with the place. Quick service and a fab selection of products.
We've been waiting for months for the grand opening of a Korean/Asian grocery store in downtown Seattle. Love the grab-n-go food. No longer need to walk another half hour to International District for my Asian snacks. A couple tables are available for eat-in.
Great little grocery store in the middle of downtown. Has a nice selection of snacks and drinks, as well as sake and tea. I work at the market, so a nice, cheap option for an afternoon snack is a great addition to the area!
Didn’t really find anything I wanted. The ramen pricing is very confusing.
Good location with most items being in good quality, but there are occasions where food has gone bad while in store like the oyster mushrooms or tofu. I had to throw away a few items as soon as I got home to prepare dinner.
This is my favorite grocery store. It’s super clean, they have a great selection and all of the pre-made food is delicious. We are so lucky to have them!
This store felt smaller and with less variety that the Bellevue location. Definitely prefer the neighborhood in Bellevue since the distance is about the same for me. On first impression it looked closed and all boarded up but the location was open. The neighborhood was deserted on a weekend evening.
Best place to grab some quick Asian groceries. They have a great variety of prepared food, snacks and drinks. The cashiers are friendly too. Love Hmart!!
I love this H Mart! Living downtown Seattle, its hars to have access to a real grocery store, but H Mart has almost everything I need! The staff has always been friendly and helpful.
Nice market. But pricey from what I am used to. But then I don't live here. Just visiting.
Great store with hot food like fried chicken and an excellent selection of Asian ingredients and frozen foods.
Cashers are friendly here, it's a good place to shop if you have limited items to purchase. Otherwise this store is not that big, I recommend a larger H-mart in Lynnwood which is a little far away.
This H Mart is the perfect neighborhood grocery store. The employees are friendly, they have a great selection of items - with emphasis on Asian products - and ready to go meals.
How convenient is it to have a asian grocery store right in the center of belltown? I like this place as it is close to many apartment complexes around, and also have some good variety of grocery necessity.
Building is fairly small but great selection on produce and other korean essentials..overall i love the store worth the drive from lakewood
Nice place to do light grocery shopping or snack shopping. Layout is solid, but not the best for quick grab and go. Also, the singular bathroom may be an issue on particularly bust days.
Great selection of Asian foods from all over. They accept EBT cards here!!! Great for sushi and they have a dining area in house.
Limited selection but hey that is totally understandable in downtown. Gets the job done.
Great produce! They often have things that are not found elsewhere! Like really good squashes. Kabocha squash! Lots of great Japanese snacks
Great discounts on all your shopping needs
Super location and food
Very convenient place to buy Asian grocery and the price is good. Staffs are friendly.
Conveniently located in the heart of downtown, has most everything you need from a grocery store. Being a Korean chain, also has plenty of Asian staples and anything you need for a hot pot or korean style barbecue.
Its easy to miss unless ur paying attention but its got a good selection for its size
great grocery store. don't expect a full meat selection. crazy sake variety. solid produce.
The fruits here are consistently excellent - whoever manages fruits sourcing here is doing a fantastic job
As big as uwajimaya and very well equipped and clean. It appears a bit expensive but there are garden variety of Asian food esp. Korean.
Small but it has everything you'd want in an H Mart. We got fresh chicken and squid for a picnic here.
The store is spacious and clean with lots of selections. You get products from Korea ,Taiwan, China, US and more.
The staff is super friendly, and very helpful.
Great service +8801784920322 whatsapp
The store is a little bit small compared to my expectation, but it still has lots of snacks and food
I love this place. Very convenient and not crazily overpriced. Also love that they have Soju.
Really great prices. Very nice selection. Very clean store. Hair shears are super friendly. Great atmosphere. Highly recommend.
I was not expecting but i found Tvorog(Творог) at H mart. Always loved this store now it became perfect because it has very rare item to find for a very good price
Wonderful place downtown for Korean and Asian ingredients. Solid selection of fresh items too. Very friendly.
Nice folks, great product selections, and surprisingly awesome salmon sashimi too
Bit super large but if you are find of food from the far East then you will enjoy shopping from the spices to candy even mushrooms that I have been dying to try were there (enoki (SP) ) spices and other eccentric odd things are located here staff is nice and store is clean , I have another store to shop at along with Safeway, QFC, and fred myer
Good quality vegetables plus a wide variety of food items available.
Very convenient and clean. Fresh and easy to shop. It's just that everything is slightly expensive than other Asian markets.
Vegetables and fruitsare not that fresh. Due to they won’t invest good fridge equipments. Cashiers are not polite and make lots of mistakes and never apologized
Like it nice fruit & veggies ...
I wish in deli they would tell u what is spicy & what is not ... Bought squid said it was teriyaki was hot hot hot... Ty
I frequent here and love it. I wish the sales applied to this store as well, but I enjoy getting my groceries here!
Very nice asian grocery Shop.. the grab and go station is awesome
Top shelf Asian market. Tons good grab and go food as well as drinks i have a hard time finding! Snacks are great!
missing a lot of the stuff I'd buy at the Lynnwood or Federal Way stores, but the selection has gotten way better since they opened.
Helpful staff and reasonable prices. Everything I need for asian cooking.
So glad they weren't damaged during demonstrations.
Great lunch venue and grocery store. Great workers despite the situation Downtown is in. Great place overall.
Really nice market huge selection would come here again. The frozen sliced meat selection is great and the pork belly out of this world.
Probably the best H Mart out of all those in the area. The only downside is parking.
Great store, one of Seattle's hidden gems !
Asian Grocery and Hot Meals to Go !
Clean, well-stocked, great customer service. Especially love the produce section.
Good selection packed into a small space underground.
It seems clean enough. But it's expensive. They have an OK selection but most of the produce is pretty old.
Nice very little store, prices were high. I guess that's what you get when you are downtown.
Great selection, especially of Grab & Go items. Delicious food!
It’s finally open!!! It's spacious, clean, and has a good variety of goods. Great food court as well. I will be frequenting this place for sure!
Great mini-market pocket within the downtown Seattle area, with an adequate selection of products. I just wish they had more breads available.
Pretty good asian store in downtown. Little bit expensive but one of the limited options if you are living in downtown for your day to day grocery shopping.
Great selection for such a small space and the grab and go hot case is amazing for a quick bite to eat. Surprisingly cheap for a market in the middle of downtown.
I come here from time to time to get their prepared food for 30% off after 430 pm and it goes fast.
A welcome decent sized h mart in Seattle proper, has the warm food and selection missing in the u district location
So happy this is here! Surprise find - go check it out! Best grocery downtown by a landslide. Only other option is Whole Foods in SLU.
I got some metal chopsticks 🍜 and kitchen scissors ✂️. Most items are in Korean or other Asian languages and you would have to use Google translate if English is your only language. …
H-mart had fresh vegetables and fruits... Nice collections of asian delicacies :) 👍 …
A smaller floor plan with out all the usual vendor clutter. But it lacked for nothing!
Pretty good collection for the size it is, and it has good selection of grab and go stuff.
This store is very much like uwajimaya except in the heart of downtown seattle about a block from pikes place. Love it.
Love this place. They have great chicken. The hot bar is great for getting something to eat warm and tasty.
Selections are great and just so you know, they have escalators because the place is located in the basement.
Very clean and always fresh fruits and veggies.. very happy with their quality with the reasonable prices
Their staff were very helpful in answering my questions and were able to accommodate me quickly. You will never be disappointed, without a doubt.
My favs are varieties of mushrooms, green onions, fish cakes. Cheaper than Uwajimaya nearby.
Nice space, great organization, great selection of Korean to go food, Korean and Japanese delights like a wide selection of fruit, mochi, sake, and more
Nice selection of goods, great prices for Downtown, friendly service. One of my go-to places in Downtown.
Really love all of their produce & prepared foods.
Excellent selection & goodr= prices (especially considering that it is located downtown). A superior alternative to Pike Place/Kress for groceries.
Another hmart near me! 😘 I can find most stuffs I need here. Hopefully there are more food options like Uwajimaya …
Always clean and well stocked. The cashier was really nice!
Small but good. I came for the Korea cosmetics. They don't have any.
Very good convenience store.
Just started working next door
They're gonna get all my money
I'm here twice a day.
Cool place. Nice products and staff are friendly.
Lots of Asianfood choices as same as UK.
My go to spot when I need to pick up food on my way back home from work; Pre made food is pretty good.
Great location. Nice to stop for a drink or snack at a more reasonable price.
I went to H Mart today and found the famous Chapaguri noodles from the the award-winning movie Parasite.
Very clean with fresh produce and some prepared food. Huge sake and wine selection.
Great selection of Asian groceries and cooked foods.
I love coming here to peruse the isles to see what different things they have brought in. The staff are extremely friendly and I will absolutely be back!
Large variety of items to choose from. Well stocked. Friendly service.
Wish there were more options, but for a small market it hit a lot of the right spots. Many essential Asian food available
it's a great Asian grocery store. it's bigger than the one in the u district, and it has more options.
Excellent place to get grocery items in Downtown Seattle.
The produce is not as fresh as other local markets, but other than that the selection is great.
Great selection, even better prices. Shop smart, shop H mart.
Great spot for all our favorite Asian food!
Excellent choice of Asian products. Staff is not very polite.
Great selection. Ask for Dulce Vida Infused and Blanco Organic Tequila.
The selection is good and location closer to downtown, but there is no parking which is a hassle.
Nice place to get Asian groceries. Large selection and clean.
Excellent Korean market. Very clean.
A wecome addition to downtown! Great for picking up to go meals and stocking up on Korean goodies

This location is beautifully convenient and very clean.
Way different stuff and discounted food that Lynnwood doesn't have.

Less product variety than other H mart.
I'm so excited, more asian variety in seattle,
Smaller than most in the chain but conveniently located in the downtown core
Great store convenient and very friendly

Great selection
Neat and convenient
I loved it.

Quite cool

Great place
gooood for shopping
Synecdoche Schenectady.
Good place
This place goes hard. Deceptively small appearance opens up to a full store underneath. Only complaint is the design limits the cashiers to about 4 - and only 2 were working at 6 on a Sunday. Caters to a younger crowd. Plays rap from east Asia which is pretty cool.
Love the sortimentet they have
..decent pricing too
This might be the best place in downtown Seattle to eat out. You get a lot for your money, it’s already hot, and it’s really tasty.
The grocery store has a lot of options. The store was clean, and the checkout counter was fast.
It's good store
Wish it was bigger and had more single serve ramen options. The fresh food options are all tasty!
