Reviews of Fou Lee Market & Deli
An Asian Gem Market! They have a plenty choices of comfort meals, food, drinks, pastries, snacks, etc, you name it! And you dont want to cook, ready meals to go and party platters are always available. A lots of fresh vegetables to choose from. This market is very clean and organized. Workers and employees are very friendly, nice and helpful. Parking is a little tight but people come and go quickly, you can wait a few minutes for parking. I highly suggest and recommend this market.
This market is very clean and suitable for finding Asian ingredients. I was looking for some Vietnamese food, and they are all cheaper than Lam Seafood. Many food selections across the hallway could be found by going deeper inside the market. The downside of this market is that its food area and parking lots are small and tight. I hope they can find a way to widen the parking lots. I highly suggest this market to anyone
We always find ourselves here eventually… This is THE place to get your pinoy snacks and ingredients for your homecooked meals. You can also stop by the deli for ready meals to go.
Great market and more than meets your eye. I love picking up all the specialty flavors. Also the hot table has some of my favorites ready to eat. Yummy!
Fou Lee is my favorite predominantly Asian food market in the greater Seattle area. They have fresh produce, fresh meat, a deli and all sorts of packaged food. Their prices are very reasonable. The parking lot is pretty small, however there are parking spots in small lots in the middle of Beacon Ave S., directly next to Fou Lee.
[Update: post-pandemic, prices have risen. However everything is significantly cheaper than at traditional grocery stores in the area]
I was craving for Milo and I heard I could buy it here instead of driving all the way to Seafood City in South Center Tukwila. I did get Milo, and mangoes, plus a few other Filipino and Asian groceries. Prices are far better than Uwajimaya and the assortment is primarily oriented towards Filipino customers. I would go here if you are looking for ingredients for Filipino dishes but don't want to drive all the way south (which no one should anyhow #covidlockdown). I give it four stars only because I was disappointed with the "dinuguan" from the hot food section. The 'meat' was almost entirely chopped pork fat and exceedingly salty. I felt like I needed dialysis after forcing myself to finish the dish (hey, I'm Filipino and conditioned to eat food to the last grain).
We've been going to Foulee for years now. It offers a huge variety of food for a reasonable price. They also have a hot food bar where you can get food to-go.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a public restroom at the back and parking spaces in front.
They accept cash and card but there is now a $5 minimum charge for Debit/Credit Cards.
We’ve been going here for distinctive groceries and a fresh, safe Filipino Luncheon, bar none, for over a decade. My husband is from Luzon, and I live eating masarap Pinoy food. Mabuhay Aloha!
Well stocked Filipino grocery store. Prices were frugal and within reason.
Only two registers in the store, but those gals were quick and got through the lines of grocery shoppers in good time.
Also, the hot food section looked fantastic. Ranged from whole fried milk fish and shrimp to crispy pork! Didn't take any of the food, but will try next time I visit.
Be mindful of parking! It was a tight squeeze for my Honda Civic and availability was low.
Another Asian store which I love to go with my wife. They have some stuff others don't. I will always come back to.
The go-to-spot for difficult to find Filipino grocery items and hot foods. Excellent selection of fried fishes, barbequed meats, lechon, pancit, adobos, etc. I also come here for some cuts of meat that are harder to find in typical American grocery stores. I also stock up on everything calamansi, and they have the best quality 100% calamansi juice in frozen packets.
A small store, but loaded with Philippine basics including fruits and vegetables. They have a little deli that serves up hot Philippine favorites, with a couple that might startle you. And if your REALLY curious, pick up a jar of bagoong and the sauces that you see here. You'l like them. Sweet or salty...just go for it!
Update. The new photo's on the left of "DATU PUTI" SOY SAUCE Sarap-Linamnam & "Mother's Best" SPICY TOYOMANSI may be of interest to you folks if your considering a no gluten, no sugar intake diet. Why? Next time your at the grocery store, either local or Asian, check the ingredient labels on the Soy Sauces. Surprise! Note how many contain sugar, and wheat. You would think that soy sauce should just be made with soy beans water and salt, and that's it. No. In fact, even the so called "organic" Tamari's have one or both of these ingredients. The two in the photo's are a Philippine brand soy sauce and marinade, and neither contain sugar or wheat. Of course, the two companies that make these sauces also make others that do contain sugar and wheat. But the fact that you can find these that DON"T have it is somewhat of a godsend. And by the way. Both of these sauces are quite delicious, particularly the Spicy Toyomansi which is flavored with chili and Philippine Lemon, but isn't "hot", just savory and an absolute kick to marinade ANYTHING. So. Whether your at FouLee Market, or any other Asian grocer, grab them both. They're a great addition to your flavor pantry, and actually a bit more healthier.
Great store with many selections, plus fresh cooked food to go. Large fresh meat selections,
This place has been around since I've been in diapers. I don't ever really go there for groceries since there are plenty of other places around beaconhill that have Asian vegetables at a cheaper price. However ... It's the food at their deli that is bomb! Fried chicken, pork rinds, calimari etc they also have some pastries like butter cream don't rolls (think butter frosting on cupcakes).
I grew up for a few years while living on Beacon Hill and remember going up and down Beacon Avenue and passing by Foulee Market. I only visited once or twice as a child, so visiting recently as an adult was a treat. They had definitely spruced up the place since I was last there maybe 15 years ago. At one point it was more of an open-air market and you can see remnants of it as you enter when you look at the roofing. The store is still charming and has a wide variety of produce, meats, prepared food, snacks, etc. It was easy for me to get swept up in the variety of Filipino foods for sale. Things I don't see very often. Foulee seems to be doing well and I hope it does well for many years to come.
The floor is not flat but the options are amazing. Asian food and snacks even feezers and dry goods.
What a great place to get catering food. The people are nice and it was easy to order. Thank you guys.
Love shopping here. Whenever I have to visit the VA hospital, I i always stop here. The best thing is the hot deli. Just a very nice selection of very authentic tasting. Vietnamese food.
Parking is really tight and small.
Still my go-to place for all my Asian grocery items. This place is great for a quick lunch as well. They have a hot food section. Lots of yummy filipino pickings. Adobo, menudo, pancit, dinuguan, sinigang, and so much more. Their fried chicken wings are delicious as well as their fried shrimp. The fried red snapper is soo good. I guess anything fried is. They also have bbq sticks, turon, carioca (deep fried sweet rice balls). A nice local neighborhood market that has been there for decades. Taking 1 star for their limited parking. I never have a problem because I shop during the weekdays, but weekends...I avoid this place as much a possible. I'll forever love this place.
Went and to try to Hot Food bar, felt very rushed couldn't really get an answer when I was asking what stuff was you know, plus I felt it was very overpriced and to be honest it wasn't great I had some kind of pork and gravy with green beans, some rice a Vietnamese sandwich. Almost 16 bucks I don't think I'm going to go back , might be a language barrier thing.
Excellent Philippino deli/ hot food. And plenty of strange Asian groceries.
I've been coming here for close to 20 years. It's my neighborhood market. They have tons of Filipino and Viet ingredients. They have a hot Deli, deserts and catering to satisfy your hunger but they also fill the need of a neighborhood that is seeking authentic Asian ingredients at a decent price. Warning some days parking is quite scarce but that just means people are feeling the Fou Lee vibe.
They have all I need to cook Filipino food. Service is always friendly and the selection is great. Also, check out their cooked food section--they also do party platters! My favorite is the fried chicken wings.
Cool hood spot to get a variety of Asian groceries and a small hot deli and meat market
This supermarket has a spacious parking lot and some other good things to try it.
My family and I went to Fou Lee Market Sunday and found it to be a nice place to buy all your Filipino Food and drink needs. If you don't feel like cooking no problem just try Fou Lee Deli's cooked meals choices. Parking is alittle tight though.
The vegetables are always fresh. If you are looking for Filipino food, this a place to go. The place is small and a bit crowded at times.
Wishing parking here was better acclimated for customers. Very small area to park.
Fou Lee has a wide variety of fruits ranging from actual coconut to dragonfruit, small bananas for plantains(platanos). they have pork and chicken humbao. You can order fresh bubble tea, this place has all types of coconut water as well as various types of soy sauce, bbq sauce, mae ploy sauce. You have a great choice all kinds of ramen, shrimp chips, stuff you wont see at safeway or fred meyers. Definitely a must go for anyone who likes variety.
I usually have to pick up ingredients when I visit my folks. Decided to look for a Filipino market closer to home. I was amazed at their selection of produce, meats, and other cooking needs. Found everything I needed to make some Filipino comfort food. They've got a hot bar too if you're looking for a snack before you leave. Staff if friendly and helpful. Will be back for more!
Kinda small so it can get packed but it's got great deals and the people are nice. Good selection of many different Asian food groceries but mainly Filipino food. Has a Deli with hot food you can get combo dishes.
Great fried food my grandchildren love the shrimp and lumpia.
Great spot for filipino groceries and ready to eat hot meals and desserts. I can find all my Filipino ingredients here at good prices. This place has narrow isles and cashier is in the middle of the shop. During covid times it is hard to stay 6 feet away from other shoppers and constantly awkward to dodge people to reach everything. Best to go when it is not busy.
I love how there is a place where I can get food that is apart of my heritage. My entire family loves the food and the produce. The barbecue is perfectly tender and sauced. The fried chicken skins are crispy and seasoned. Lastly, the fish is also crispy, seasoned, crunchy, and everything you would look for.
A pretty well stocked Asian grocery with reasonable prices.
Despite its smaller size, they have many ingredients essential for Asian cooking plus a nice variety of fruits, vegetables, meats and fish as well.
To be clear, it’s not on scale of the big box better known Asian supermarkets, but will get the job done most of the time.
Parking is limited & spaces are a tight squeeze & you can only enter from Columbian Way.
Very good selection of quick snacks.
Fou Lee has great selection of fruit, vegetables, meat, seafood and Asian specialty items. The deli has a wide selection of cooked to go items. The staff is friendly. I love ordering my party platters at a reasonable price! Parking is tight!
I LOVE their Filipino deli! They have their "chocolate stew" that's made right. Good choices for their combo meal. They have great selection of fresh meat and vegetables. A MUST GO!
No frills, but I like it! Lots of Asian selection, specifically for Filipinos (but I think the owners are Chinese). They provide all the prepackaged goods, produce, meats, and baked pastries. They also have a deli with Filipino food but I'm not too fond of the quality of what I see. If you buy anything from the deli, just stick to the fried stuff. They also have very cheap banh mi, though it's "mystery meat" ... yikes! Not the nicest place to go grocery shopping; but, it's an easy in and out, get the stuff you need kind of place. They have a decent parking lot with lots of free street parking, too.
this is great market with patrons who have good social distancing practices. this one of the few markets I've been to where the markings on the floor are actually over 6' apart, which is great for folks who aren't strict about whether they're on or just around the marker. aisles are quite narrow, which means they have packed a lot of items into the space they have. :)
Fou-Lee still pleases. Even though the building isn't new, you'll find things that you won't see anywhere else in the Seattle area. Items popular with Filipinos can be found here, as well as Chinese items. Want your favorite chips from the Philippines? They have them here. Their produce is very good (there are only a few places in town that carry Upo or fresh Calamansi).. With Social Distancing, be patient, their service is pretty fast, too!
A perfect place for filipino items you need and crave which cost less compared to other asian stores. Fresh prepared dishes that will satisfy you until you cook your own version. I highly recommend this store.
Terrible parking. Great selections
I was kinda lost.... i didn't ask where the merchandise was, but i came out good in the end. Their location is great. If you are looking for Asian food...this is the place. Deli is also available. So whether you want to cook or buy something ready to eat.... this is it!!!!! I moved...but there is still a need for me to go there...
Popular Filipino supermarket on Beacon Hill carrying an assortment of locally produced goods and imported products produced in the Philippines or elsewhere in Asia Pacific, Mainland China and its neighboring countries. Homemade deep fried culinary delights alongside other well-recognized Filipino delectable delicacies are also sold in quantity everyday. Vegetables, fruits, meat, fish, and poultry round off many of its local attraction away from the hustle and bustle of Downtown Seattle.
This place, is an absolute GO TO. Been going for years, and it's a must for their shrimp and fried rice (we buy platters of it for events or BBQs). After a round at Jefferson, it's a great stop for a quick roast sandwich or to-go hot dish.
Love this grocer. It is like the store that never ends. They have produce, all sorts of Filipino/Vietnamese/Chinese/Japanese goods, meat, and prepared food. Good prices. Efficient service.
One of my fav asian markets in Seattle. I have been going here for years. They have various kinds of yummy foods and stuffs. What you are looking for, they have in the store. Very conviniently located near South Beacon Hill area, love this market.
LOVE this place. Food tastes amazing. Their fried rice is bomb. They give big portions.
This place is amazing! There is an authentic feel when you walk in. If you have a large party.. Perhaps 6 or more to feed. This is the spot you go. Especially for their fried chicken. Give it shot and walk in
A wide variety of fruits, vegetable and perishable items but I came for the hot deli in the back. The deli have also have a wide variety of selections and it's good. Becon Hill's little deli secret. Shhhhhh
I own an oriental Asian market and I come from 3 hours away to seek this Market out. The owner is very friendly and helpful and the prices are unbeatable. If you want an American style Asian market this is not the place for you but if you want a more authentic Asian experience I would highly recommend this Market
Such a wide variety of food and ingredients! A great store with helpful employees.
Filipino market. They carry alot of items we use in our home that we can't get at uwajimya or vietwa. The store Could be better. They have a deli but I think your Better off just making food yourself (if you know how). They do have fresh dessert. Those are a highlight !
Great filipino food n customer service with extra cassava on check out for free yeahh.Wish I live nearby so 8 can do more shopping ./Thank you Fou Lee staff for warm N smiling face all the time.
Been coming to this market with my parents since I was a child. Parking can be difficult during busy times, and it can get packed. Deep fried section options are perfect for last minute finger food (shrimp, calamari, pork chop, etc.).
Really like this place. They have yummy Phillipinos food ready to eat, fresh vegetables and other asian food that you may need :)
We just move month ago from Atlanta Georgia, we used to shopped in big asian stores and cheap price there, and in city we live right now hard to find asian store like we used to shopped in Georgia, but sooo happy we found this market sooo complete from asian raw foods to cooked foods, and the cashier lady soo nice and friendly, and give us some bonus traditional snacks wrapped in banana leafs remind me to my homeland Indonesia, we will back again for sure very worth it we drive 1.35 minutes to this market.. ❤️
Typical crowded isles of Asian grocery store. Very difficult to park as it situated at the northwest corner of Columbian Way and Beacon Avenue. However, inside has combination of lunch boxes to go such as rice or noodles with Teriyaki selections, or choices of deep fried tilapia, cat fish, squid, roasted pork, etc costing under $8.
Love stopping by here for a quick hot food combo of pancit and fried chicken wings. Also have lots of Filipino grocery items that are hard to find in other stores.
There was a lady in front of me ordering a small size box of chowmein. The person (tomboy) working in the deli got her fried rice. The lady said she did not order a fried rice. The person in the deli insisted three times that the lady ordered the fried rice. After the lady said she dont want the fried rice, deli staff dump the fried rice back into the pan with attitude. When it was my turn, I ordered the same small box of chowmein, deli staff reused the box where the fried rice came from and put some chowmein in it. Now I have chowmein mix with partial fried rice. I asked her if I can get a new box, she gave me the same attitude so I said forget it and just took whatever she gave me.
Great market! Everything is fresh and very good customer service. Fresh fish and fried available.
I love this market! Fantastic deli and they have a great selection of Asian foods across several cultures. Very affordable, I go here almost daily
Nice Asian market and deli. Good fruit and vegetables. Good prices. Nice variety of goods. Nice staff.
Fantastic selection of fresh foods. I love to stop at the deli here for lunch. Their pork and shrimp are amazing!
Looks small from the outside but it has a meat department, deli, produce section, and a large selection of Asian ingredients. There is limited parking on-site, but plenty of parking nearby.
Foulee is our neighborhood market. While small, it does a great job of reflecting the neighborhood, offering a mix of items for our Japanese, Chinese and Filipino friends as well as being a quick stop for anyone needing to grab a staple or two.
They have a deli section of warm food. Their chicken wingettes are to die for. Tasty and crispy. The soy sauce noodles are delicious also.
Great place for ethnic Asian food and vegetable to purchase. Very reasonable price.
Different varieties of food that you will find. Cooked meals for to go and snacks that are available too.
Parking is very limited and for compact cars only.
Nice and comfortable store, BUT small parking lot.
I stopped by to fill my craving for crunchy squid.
Clean store that offers a variety of asian ingredients from produce, sauces, meat, and fish. They also have a cooked food deli.
Little Asian Grocery store/ Restaurant. Place lacks on the parking though. And the staff has poor english.. Which makes it authentic!! Prices are decent and food is alright.
Good deli, terrible drivers in the parking lot. I like their chow mein. If I can slap the lady at the deli, I give them 4 stars.
Great place to get Asian food and produces. I go here right after I visit the VA hospital.
They are always busy. Parking is a serious joke but they do have is really good sandwiches and fresh produce.
This asian grocery store is alway busy the parking is so crowded and really small when you go inside the have cook food and much much more very affordable some are a lil bit too pricy
Food to go very good choices. Suggest less salty to include diet for people with high blood. Flavor should not suffer.
Food is the tops. Customer flow is the worst.
Please everyone stay away from this outfit so I can blissfully shop there
Typical Asian grocery store with an atypical deli inside that serves up awesome tasting foods. They do catered trays of food too
Great price on meat and Asian vegetables. My go-to place when I want to get ingredients for Filipino dishes.
Filipino store. Incredible variety, my rambutan were actual fresh, old school cashiers who type in the prices, and a delectable hot counter.
The Deli has lots of traditional Filipino hot and cold dishes.
Great place to get lots of phillipino food. Also there is a deli in there to with lots of food to go. Has lots of common asain grocery store items as well.
Small, but have a variety of meats and produce+plenty of prepared savory and sweet treats cooked on-site!
Love the Vietnamese sandwich. $2.99. The deli serves mostly Filipino food.
Been coming here for years, they've got lots of hard to find items for the Asian community and it's nice to support a small business that I've been coming to since I was a child
Excellent. My favorite filipino grocery store. Great prices and good customer service. Been coming here for 10yrs now. Suki ako 😊 …
I love coming here. It's my place to unwind. Seeing Asian products makes me feel I'm home.
Great selection of Asian foods as well as ready to eat foods to go. Better price than big asian supermarkets like seafood city or ranch 99.

Great place for Asian deli foods. Really great lumpia when fresh from the fryer. The Bahn Mi are cheap and amazing!

Extremely friendly service. Go their enough and you feel like part of the family. Prices are amazing and the quality of their food is impeccable
It's a middle size store, clean and well maintained, big variety of products, little hard moving around, specially busy time.
THE asian market that brings you back to your country's market. 9/10 they have what you are looking for your asian grocery needs, and the deli is a bonus here
Staff greets and treats everyone like family. The owner knows how big a key this is in keeping their customer base loyal.
I love the deli salmon fish & the best place to get adidas (chicken feets)😜 …
One of my favorite Asian markets in the Seattle area. I absolutely love the spring rolls.

Always love shopping here. Delicious fresh food made every single day. This is one of the only places I can find the special Filipino broom that I use outside to sweep the walkway. They have many products, including food, fresh produce, a wide variety of Asian candies as well as specialty Asian toiletry products. the parking lot is a little bit tight but there’s usually always at least one spot available. I would recommend coming here to pick up your favorite three and one coffee or tea bags!
(Translation) Great little Asian Market. You can find here the Mango that tastes like our Carabao Mango in the Philippines. And the Bangus, Pompano, Lapulapu, and Halibut fish are really fresh. They have a lot of fresh vegetables. They also have many cooked dishes that are fresh, just be careful of cholesterol.

Great little Asian Market.
