It's been years since I was last in Circle 'Food Store; that's what natives of NOLA use to call it. They've made some great improvements to how the interior of the store flows and looks. I was greeted when I came in and the cashier was super helpful with my questions. The food options here easily rival Publix...No kidding! The store is super clean, orderly and the workers there are truly about the customer service experience. The Circle Food Market will be my go-to shopping spot whenever I visit New Orleans from now on. Great job guys!!!👋🏾👋🏾👋🏾👋🏾👋🏾

A little pricey on some items, and good deal on other items. The cashiers are always nice, and the butcher in back is a really good dude, always happy to share a greeting, a suggestion, and just makes me smile.

I remember Circle from Pre-Katrina days!! Circle is still around and hanging. I would say Circle is your local neighborhood store— if you’re looking for Winn Dixie or Rouses, this isn’t it but has mostly everything you need! Especially for those last minute needs + there’s is a pharmacy.

Nice grocery store, with a good selection of fresh produce, wines, beer (hiccup!), and fresh meat and seafood. The big name stores carry more, but the folks are nice and normal, and at least you don’t have to worry too much about the owners being big Trump supporters! 😲 …

Glad this store was reopened. I've been told how it used to be pre-Katrina (prior to us relocating here), but aside from those stories I don't have a full comparison to go on. That said, the staff is always friendly when I go in, and the store is always organized and clean. The highlight though is the hot food area. Froot Orleans is in there, so if you're looking for an all fruit or a fruit and veggie smoothie, make this your stop.

I heard about the fried chicken and had to check it out for myself. For the next week I couldn't get the flavor if the Fried Chicken off of my mind. So I had to come back with my girl. She woke up the next day talking about that Fried Chicken. You might as well slap ya mama before you go... this is the real deal... Bon Appétit

I really enjoy shopping here. They always have decent prices especially on meat. They are also very friendly and helpful. The store however is in a rough area, therefore you must always be aware of your surroundings and never go there after dark. FYI, just recently all of the store's copper refrigertion tubing was stolen from the roof and they have had a very hard time getting all of the parts to repair the system. There is a very limited amount of refrigerated/frozen food available. Still all in all it's a very nice store.

I've been going here since I was a kid in the early 90's. Went for the 1st time in 15 years since Katrina. It's turned in a nice neighborhood grocery with quality produce and seafood, nicer than the rouses I live next to now. So glad this store is still available to the community. Bring Bachemans back next door!

circle food store is a wonderful little mom and pop grocery with affordable prices a decent selection and a very welcoming staff it's easy to get to plenty of parking on I can't say enough good things about it but you're going to work with you it just feels like an old tiny grocery store but without like jacked up prices or you know old timey technology so really great place everybody should check it out

Circle food store has been the store to go to since I was a child. After the storm , it's took a while but is now reopened. I no longer live in the area but I will gladly travel to see the new circle food store and to see how fresh and clean it is now, and how updated it has become. I can't wait to get my fresh produce from a place I know that always have good deals.

Great store for just about anything didn't get 5 stars because meat selection is a little small and the security guard makes you real uncomfortable staring at you the whole time you're trying to remember what you're forgetting. But I expect that will not last long in Nola

Employees are friendly. Great to have a supermarket in the area. Somehat pricey. Stock fresh meat early in the morning. Offer hot plates as well as poboy sandwich. After so many reward points, you can receive a discount on your purchase.

Great neighborhood store. Circle foods been in the 7th ward since the beginning. Every time I walk in it brings back child hood memories of family shopping experiences. Circle has been through several disasters and has rebuilt each time. Perseverance is key. The shelves are stock with local items and employed with workers from the 7th ward area. It's not only wanted but needed in the success of rebuilding.

Okay. So, what I like about Circle Food Store is that it's the only Black owned market in a predominately black city. They have all the necessary foods you need to make an amazing breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have a great selection of baked goods as well.

It's a classic beauty, it has good food and it's a circle! I love the Circle Food Store for it's old world exterior market architecture to it's new, yet throwback interior. From highlighting the antique handpainted signage from the early 20th century, to exposing the gorgeous exposed wood beams, this place is a real beauty. They carry many items you can't get elsewhere as well as cater to a local diverse customer base. The lines are generally short and their customer service is people pleasing. Where else can you find cleaned rabbit or gumbo crabs for dinner AND get your taxes done? I love that!

I only went to the store to get a money order or cash. 1. They don't do money orders 2. They don't do cash back at the register 3. They have ATM but everyone don't trust every ATM

Historic, locally owned, community based grocery store and more. Great meats, really good prepared meals. Pay your bills here, play the lotto, buy a phone or a ring... Not sure if they still sell school uniforms. Yes, they are periodically out of certain things. With floods and vandalism they have had a rough time of it these past few years. But they keep coming back, stronger. If that ain't New Orleans I don't know what is.

Circle Food Store supplies the people in that community. I grew up right across the street and before Hurricane Katrina circle food store was where we made groceries, got medicine from the pharmacy, paid bills, got hair products even our school clothes. They always had the specials on the bell peppers during holidays. Easter baskets lined up outside the store. Even live chicks. My aunt sold suppers all my life. My cousin and I would walk and deliver plates to employees there. My grandmother still shops here. People without transportation are given access to necessary foods, products and services as well as jobs. Circle Food Store is more than an ordinary grocery store for the many. It is historical to this community and gives many memories.
