Cant say a whole lot. Its a low cost grocery with few services and mostly inconsiderate cashiers. Im not sure if the prices are all that low in compariolson to walmart either. Its just in the city, Walmart generall ly doesnt exist. The brands of items sold there, some I dont recognize.

This store is the closest grocery store to me and Im glad because it's cheap and the staff are helpful and nice. Selection is always limited but that's with any Save-a-Lot.

**New Update** I really wish y'all would stock Kellogg's Special K with Strawberries. And keep it in stock. No one ever has it in stock and this is where we prefer to shop. My family goes through about 6 boxes a week, if not more. We will literally buy it as long as you will stock it. Please and thanks in advance. I will gladly give you 5stars whenever you get the cereal back. ********************************************* Never too crowded. They have social distancing guidelines in place and do their best to carry them out. They are always getting new products in. And they are always very friendly. ********************************************* **UPDATE** They rearranged the store. They have a lot more products than before. Some bulk items as well. If you're in the neighborhood, I recommend going in and checking it out!

Central City is a 'food desert's and save a lot Is the only choice in the neighborhood except corner stores. Produce is high-priced sometimes it's no good. Meat is decent, good specials. Pork and chicken super affordable if you know what to look for. Quality of certain thing is very good for the price but again, know what to look for. I'm.not sure how many employees the store even has at one time. Usually only 2 cash registers open, but they move people through pretty fast. All in all, I don't dread or regret shopping there. I make it work with my limited budget and I'm glad its there, at the very least. Could be alot cleaner but then again, staffing.

I am absolutely ecstatic of how much better Save-A-Lot is these days. I know that the market was bought by someone who really cares about their business. Now the floor in the store is spotless and everything is in its place. Now it's extremely neat in there. And I believe that Save-A-Lot is actually cheaper than it used to be under the previous owner. I hope that Save-A-Lot gets a lot of business so that they can stay open and continue to provide shoppers with cheaper prices as well as a very nice shopping experience. It's still cheaper than other markets in the area; especially on their meats and dairy. You have to pay for bags but this encourages us to reuse and recycle.

Always neat and tidy but never enough people working the customer checkout. Also prepare to bag your items yourself, off by the window of the store that will make since when you arrive. Take a cart to checkout to move through the more smoothly.

Cheap. Produce , dairy, frozen foods and meat are all usually good. I won't buy potatoes there though. They always go bad quickly. I shop here2 or 3 times a month. It's nice to go to a store where I can get what I need for the week in 30 minutes.

Don't come here expecting short check out lines or high quality specialty food. But for staple meats, grains, and veggies? This is how people live. I won't hate on it. Some of their fruits like bananas and watermelons are better than Walmart.

It was okay, but the meat looked so bad, almost like it was rotten. So I didn't get anything but can goods from this particular save a lot. No plans to return to this particular save a lot

I hadn't shopped here for a long time and was pleasantly surprised. There were baskets... Shocking!!! The store was clean and well organized...The staff all seemed happy and were working well together. I will be back soon.

I Love to shop at Sav a Lot. The location is in walking distance and the cashier's are always helpful and friendly. Sav-a-Lot has a good selection of name brand products that are reasonably priced.

Excessive line and wait time. Notice I mentioned excessive "line" w/o the "s", because there was only one line open with an excessive wait time. This was during daylight in the evening. Wow, never again. Not to mention the bad neighborhood!
