My wife and I regularly shop here while visiting her father in NEW Orleans. They have great salads and prepared meals that are easy to reheat. Large selection of wines and liquors and general selection (breads, meats, etc) is very good.

A staple of a grocery since I was a child. They even have PJs coffee inside which is nice. It is a typical grocery store with touch of NOLA, carrying local magazines and advertisements for people to pick up and read. Not to mention it has beer wine and liquor so it really is a one stop shop for people in the neighborhood.

I placed an online order and when I arrived it was not ready. From the information they gave me, it sounded like there was a technical glitch? The staff member asked if I could return in a few hours. But when I stated I was already there in the pickup zone waiting they agreed to get my groceries out asap. Low stars since the staff member should have offered the asap solution first. If in the area, I would try again. But maybe in person? Their prices seemed reasonable.

Some of the spaces on the shelves were empty, this visit. I was not able to find a number of items I was looking for. As usual, their salad bar and their hot food bar were top notch. I bought their fried catfish. Wonderful! Salad bar had crisp and fresh looking veggies. Even with prices that are higher than some of the other grocers, it is hard to be disappointed with Roberts.

I love going here for the food. They created a buffet and food is weighed by the pound.. I guess it depends upon what time i go because the food isn't always fresh. There is a seating area too. The employees are really nice here and the lines are never long. Prices are high here for a lot of things, I don't shop here but if I need to pick up an item or two then I will go for it.

Great prepared food, the chicken and andouille sausage is FANTABULOUS. Beautiful produce & fresh cut meats, fresh breads, etc. They had boiled shrimp tonight, but unfortunately, I didn't get any. You can't go wrong here! Friendly and very knowledgeable staff!

A rather nice grocery store, definitely with a nice selection and a pleasant atmosphere. The prices can be a bit high overall but I've found that when you're buying less of the generic brands and more of the specialty items this is the place to go. And for the more generic brands they often enough have a sale to make it worthwhile to make this your grocery destination.

This is a great store, but a little pricier than most grocery stores. Nevertheless, the quality is great and the service is too. I can get several of the specialty items I like, such as chia seeds closer to home than other options. The prepped food is amazing here and there is a great coffee shop inside as well. All in all a great store, but again, if you're budget conscious I wouldn't buy a couple of weeks of groceries here. I mostly get the items I can't find at other nearby stores.

I don’t understand why they won’t take Navy Federal Credit Union debit cards. There are a great many people in the area who use them. 6/14/22: My debit card works at Robert's now. Not sure what changed but happy for that.

Service was great. The butcher was very helpful and asked good questions to be sure I got the correct meat for the meal I am preparing. Checkout lines are always short. What else could a shopper want?🙂🙂

I personally find it one of the best stores to shop in, people may disagree with me but it beats Wholefoods hands down. Selection is targeted for the average day person, veggies/fruits/meat and other products are absolutely top notch. Also the Staff need to be commended, helpful, polite and only to willing to assist. The employees are great. Unfortunately, the prices are high, and the store's small size means it doesn't carry a lot of brands you'd expect (for a while it didn't even stock Pepsi). And, even though it is the only grocery in its area, it closes at 9 pm, which is an inconveniently early time.

It's got a great selection for a small market on the edge of a strip mall, but for most things, a marked up price. One thing of note, they have a pretty good salad bar, where you can load up a plastic take home box for 6.99/lb; the one I made turned out delicious, but ended up being around $8. If you're looking for good food at moderate prices in your area, this place is worth a look.

I like the salad bar, the cheese section, the sushi and those Cajun seafood dips they make. They have a very decent section natural and alternative diets and I can usually find the odd ingredients that I need there. I like that they are local owners. However I find that their prices are high. I shop here on special occasions or when I can afford to treat myself.

deli is relatively cheap, 2 heavy slices of pizza for five bucks, sold. $2pinwheel pizza thingys, ya!!! the coffee didnt taste amazing considering the three dollar price tag

Local Nola chain. The prices are a bit higher than the national chains, and the selection isn't as good as the Rouses in Mid-city, but we love the people. The wine selection is good, the premade meals are usually good, and fairly consistent. This is a place I prefer because it just the right size for my family of four to do a quick weekly shop.

I enjoy shopping at Robérts with its cleanliness, updated look, and variety of food there. I used to live in the neighborhood and love the feel of small town living with the closeness of the location and friendly staff. They also have occasional festivals, in the parking lot, giving back to the community and creating a family friendly environment! Plus, they are they only place I can buy my favorite plantain chips so they have 5 stars from this happy customer!

I love to stay away from this place. They have everything. In fact, they have the stuff you didn't even know you wanted. Every. Single. Time. If you enjoy a little more hard to find ingredients, they most likely have it. This is a little more upscale shopping experience. It'll cost you. Not WF prices, but a little more costly than Rouse's. Still, super nice place to shop. Helpful, friendly employees. Great experience.

Love the selection at Robert's Fresh Market. This grocery has a lot to offer for a small neighborhood grocery. I know Robert's a little more expensive than one of the larger grocery stores, but I understand that I am paying for the convenience of a neighborhood grocery, and the availability of specialty products. They even have a little cafe area you can eat your food.

Seniors take note. One "benefit" of being senior could be Robert's 5% discount on Tuesdays. HOWEVER, upon checking out, it's always an embarrassing challenge because the checker has to summons a manager to apply the discount. This can take a long time, holding up the line and causing "looks" from those in line. Most times I've told the checker "just forget it." It's as though the store really discourages users of the discount. So, I've stopped considering the Tue discount a benefit for shopping at Robert's.

Having Robért's open in Marigny and the ByWater neighborhood has been a welcomed long overdue experience. It's filled with all sorts of selections. The salad/olive bar is my favorite; there's something for everyone. Great wine & beer selection as well as their liqour selections with all the trendy versions people are drinking now. The staff and management is friendly and helpful. Truly an enjoyment tovshop there.

Dear Sir or Madam, I have the pleasure of using your store in the Lakeview area of the city. Today at 4:40pm I went into the store in Lakeview on Robert E Lee which is a frequent occurrence. After selecting the items as I do often on the way home from work, I went to the counter operated by Anne, she is a more mature lady with long black hair. This employee is polite courteous, efficient, and I have been tended to by this lady on numerous occasions, her professional and polite attentiveness is a regular occurrence. I have made myself reminders to contact the store to communicate this compliment to your management. I also called the store to back up this short report. These days we are too quick to criticize and complain and forget to compliment or recognize staff for doing their jobs with focus, and a degree of professionalism that I struggle to find. Please pass on my recognition to "Anne". Its astonishing how the more mature staff seem to be the ones who are recognition worthy. Thanks for the great service, which I will continue to use. AB Nola

As its name implies, this place has some great fresh food. Their salad bar, hot bar, and produce sections are always well stocked with fresh, good looking food. And I've still never been able to find another place that sells pre-cut butternut squash that isn't frozen. Their meat and seafood selection is top notch as well. Some places just leave raw shrimp sitting out on melted ice for hours on end but not this place. I would give them 4 stars for how pricy everything is, but when you compare it to somewhere like Rouses or Lakeview Grocery (where both are somewhat cheaper), Robért's quality is overall worth the difference. It's like choosing Whole Foods instead of your other grocery store because you know the quality is better.
