I've been going to Mike's for several years now and I mostly go at night they used to be open till 2 am but now they close at midnight. They have a great selection of tobacco products and snacks and a surprising but if household items for such a small store. The two employees you'll meet at night are Mike a small Hispanic man who's pretty quiet but whom if you talk to has a nice comforting manner to him And major who has honestly watched me grow up a little, he's a great person to talk to, gives wonderful advice, and honestly he's got ur back, but he's definitely the kind of guy who can stand his ground for the good of the store This store is nicely settled on Claiborne very close to a lot of residents of the bywater. I've taken many intoxicated walks up there and it's a great place to go to restock your party. I give this place 5/5 stars genuine employees, convenient location, abundant selection of goods, nice and clean store, and they enforce the mask policy

The drinks are dirt cheap and the guys behind the counter are very friendly. The location is a little suspect and you're likely to have a few less than savoury patrons in the store with you, but if you're looking for an authentic experience and some cheap booze, this is the store.
