This grocery store is really nice. I believe it's the first Publix I've ever been in and I liked it. I bought a sandwich that was very good. Four stars only because it took forever to check out. There was a long line for self checkout and there were several registers that were unmanned, which led to the long line. To be fair, it was a busy time and the parking lot was packed, but they should schedule more help for Sunday evenings if this is their busiest time.

I'm glad Publix moved in here. Kroger needed some competition in the area. But outside of that, it's just a nice, clean store. The hot bar is EXCELLENT, as are the sandwiches. Pretty much all of the grab-and-go food is great. I would provide one bit of feedback: I wish they'd stock 1-gallon Publix brand chocolate milk. They only sell half-gallons, and the Purity-branded chocolate milk, while good, seems to run more than half of what the store brand usually does.

First time I went in this Publix when it opened it was like a bad commercial everyone was so courteous and saying hi and how are you doing I mean every employee I was looking around for cameras! Very clean environment the employees are helpful and very courteous classy place in a lot of very classy women go there also great place to meet one. A little more expensive but it's worth it :-)

By far my favorite grocery store to venture into in Nashville (besides Whole Foods of course). Clean and fully stocked store. GREAT produce that’s always fresh and tastes delicious. Awesome deli selects (hello 🐗 boarshead London broil!?) and honestly the happiest grocery staff I’ve seen in a minute (and yes I shopped at Trader Joe’s in the early days…they lost their spark ya’ll 😖I mean, what happened to opening up boxes and giving out generous free samples?) At any rate, highly recommended!

Good variety of items but was not happy to see a fly in one of the bakery display cases. Another lady and I were looking to get something sweet. It was landing on everything. We told the employee worker that area. She opened the case and removed it. She was quite embarrassed.

Other than having to keep one hand on your cart while you load your groceries with the other so it doesn't roll away, it's not the worst store. Small, not a lot of selection. But clean, mostly friendly, not overly helpful.

I love that we have a Publix in our area now, but the parking lot is really small. You have to know when to go to get a parking space. And having a Starbucks in the lot as well doesn't help with the traffic.

BUFFALO Chicken Tender SANDWICH with bleu cheese crumbles and peppercinis! 🔥 every time I come to the deli, I run into this wonderful human being! I still don’t know her name (she has pretty red hair) but she is extremely attentive, polite and friendly! I have noticed that no matter what is going on, she stays professional! Publix consistently makes the best fried chicken so I was excited when one finally opened in East Nashville. But I'm often disappointed when I go and they don't have fried chicken, even at lunch and dinner time. When they do have fried chicken, it's wonderful as usual. But when they don't, and it's more often than not, it makes me so sad. If they do have the chicken, they often don't have potato wedges. Guess I have to go to Capital View or Madison to get fried chicken and wedges. Or Bailey & Cato. Oh well.

Update: I'm changing from two stars to four stars. The deli department seems to have gotten much better. My pre-ordered deli meat and subs have been ready for pickup the last 3 or 4 times. Hopefully it stays that way. I'm really glad to have Publix in our neighborhood now. Grocery shopping is a great experience. However, I rarely get good, fast service at the deli meat and sandwich station. I've even tried ordering ahead online and it's usually not ready by the pickup time. It takes forever!!!!

As far as East Nashville goes, it's about as good as you can hope for in a chain grocery store. As far as Publix goes, it is very cramped, stock is astoundingly limited in some departments compared to others, and the staff has its ups and downs. It is also trashier than some of their other locations, inside and out. Be careful with their produce too. If you ain't eating it today, don't buy it.

I love this market. I'm always in and out. The curbside pickup service is awesome, too. I love the subs from the deli. It's always fresh and clean. I love that they use Boar Head's meats as well. I never have an issue finding things and if I look too lost, someone always offer to help. Customers are respectful of people who may appear a bit uncomfortable with distancing. I never feel rushed or crowded. I love this location and it's appearance. I'd recommend anyone to visit this location. It has been the best experience at a Publix Market thus far. I choose this as my main store.

The newest and cleanest grocery store in East Nashville. Not as cheap as Kroger, but the quality is worth it. I have also found that the Publix brand of more expensive items is right on par, taste or quality wise, with the original product at a much cheaper price. The Publix brands are also where you are going to find the best savings. This location is well lit, easily accessible, and in about the most centralized location to the entire East Nashville/ Inglewood area.

This Publix does pretty well considering it's a smaller store and so many people shop here. I prefer it to Kroger for produce and fresh chicken. It's clean, parking is pretty painless, and the team members are mostly friendly. If you go when it's busy people will practically run you over in the aisles, and you'll have a considerable wait for food at the hot bar or sub station. But if you go when it's not busy it's a pleasant experience. My biggest complaint at this store is how small the bakery is and how few items they carry, and everything I've gotten has been overbaked. Please, Publix, train your bakers at this store to not overbake! The Publix bakery is usually superb, but don't count on this one being like other Publix stores. Take your business to one of the fine local bakeries in the area.

If you live on or near gallatin go to this instead of either of the two Krogers. Not because this place is crazy nice, but because they have enough people working, are amicable, and do at least the bare minimum for a good grocery store.

Publix is solid, across the board and in every state they operate in. This one is no exception. The place is clean, fairly well stocked, has decent choices and the staff is well informed and friendly. Their dessert bakery is a place for your teeth to die and go to sugar heaven!! Love it, but customer service wasn't to pleasant. 4 people was working the sandwich line and NO ONE was at the hot food section. I could not understand that. Help was requested 3 times and all you got was the reason why no one was there instead of getting someone to take orders. I was shocked by this because this was a first.

I was so excited to get a Publix on this side of town, however the planning was quite poor. The parking lot is an absolute nightmare, and putting in a Starbucks just exacerbated this. The store is so small you can’t even navigate the aisles without someone else’s cart blocking you or having the checkout lines overflow. The service is still great, but coming here isn’t exactly a pleasure.

Brand new store for East Nashville. Super nice and clean, definitely puts the "Crack Kroger" to shame. Pleasantly surprised to see a Starbucks in the car park, too! Highly recommended, and not just for the remarkable variety of the produce department!

I had a VERY strong craving for the BEST selling soup that Publix has to offer...the Chicken and Wild Rice soup. I went in after work, expecting to get a large container for dinner. When I opened the warming urn...shock and dismay. There was barely enough there for a small container. I asked a deli manager if there was more on standby. He checked and informed me, politely, that there was not and that it would take 30 minutes. I did end up making a different selection/purchase, but I WANTED that soup. Dear Publix...please get your soup game up. You KNOW that Chicken and Wild Rice is THE best seller. Keep it on deck.

I ordered a birthday cake online and put the wrong date for pickup. The bakery had a similar one and offered to write whatever I needed on it. Then as I was leaving it was pouring rain and I forgot my umbrella, a very sweet employee asked me if I wanted an escort with an umbrella to my car! This store goes above and beyond.

I grew up with Publix down in Florida. The store here is awesome. It is a little smaller than others in the area but has everything you need and more. The deli is the cornerstone of the store with lots of options and great quick-grab items for those in a hurry. I stop by for lunch a couple times a week.

I would love to give this 5 stars. I really would. I love me some Publix, but I am very disappointed that a populous city like East Nashville would be set up with such a small, low stocked version of this amazing store. The bakery section is laughable. Salads are commonly out of stock. Your options are limited. It's worth going to for something to quickly grab that I can't find at the two Kroger nearby, but other than that I'd rather drive a good distance and shop at a larger Publix to get the genuine experience they're known for. So disappointed 😞

The deli area always has my favorite spinach and artichoke dip made by them and it's delicious 😋, to the fresh made to order sandwiches 🥪 to the French styled bakery area 🥯🧁🎂 with free cookies for kids, there is something for everyone! As a Publix customer for more than 40 years, the store is like a 30-year throwback. For the neighborhood it serves, it is unfortunately too small and it's assortment to limited. Staff is nice, prices are typically high in comparison to nearby competitors such as Kroger and Aldi. Publix could have and should have done better.

Definitely a great spot for a grocery store. People were nice, store was clean. Layout by the freezers were a little strange you end up on the other side of checkout lanes so you have to turn around to check out from there.

New Publix just opened in East Nashville. It is not the biggest Publix, but has more than enough for everyday needs items such as groceries, household needs. They have fresh deli as well and you can stop by and get fresh fried chicken, sandwiches. Possibly due to just opened, people are looks so busy and we needed to wait little bit to get store person to process our coupons. But other than that, they are very friendly and nice place to shop.

If you never shopped at Publix I highly recommend especially when it comes to certain items you won’t find in stores like Walmart, Kroger, everything similar, for starters I’m happy their is finally a location in East Nashville not sure on a floral section but i definitely will be looking soon when I return more than likely will be a regular here Publix is literally the only grocery store I’ve been to that always look spotless clean lol it’s amazing honestly very impressive not the mention the customer service made me consider working for the company at one point welcome to the neighborhood in if you are in the area and never been yet wanted to check it out I highly recommend even if you don’t buy anything just walk the store in compare your items a lot more healthier options as well, you will thank me later 👌🏽.
