Reviews of Nashville Farmers' Market
Came here on a Saturday morning while visiting Nashville. Being to many different Farmers' Market in other cities, this was one of the biggest and best. Very large amount of vendors selling everything from fruit, vegetables, plants, pottery, household items, clothes, prepared food, kids area, live music, food court, etc..
Everything looked great, but I was impressed with the size and quality of the fruits, vegetables, plants, and flowers. If I wasn't traveling, I would've loved to buy a little bit of everything. All the vendors were friendly and helpful. After walking around the large outdoor area, you can head inside to the food court to grab a bite and get some rest. There's about 15-20 food vendors inside serving many different cuisines, drinks, and desserts.
Overall, great Farmers' Market with a large variety of vendors selling quality goods.
This place is gorgeous, one of the best farmers markets I've been to. The indoor area is open all week with most of the outdoor vendors(?) being there primarily on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday but some of them were there when I went on a Thursday. I found some art from a lovely water colour artist and some coffee beans and loose tea leaves from a wonderful lady here as well as some fun sodas from one of the spots indoors. It took everything in me not to bring several plants from here home with me but I don't think they'd enjoy being in a car for 8+ hours for that trip. Overall, a very lovely farmers market with lots of lovely people - both working here and visiting.
This place is really good! There is a huge selection of all kinds of cuisines - I got Indian food & it was fabulous! You can get bubble tea, coffee, crepes, gyros, pizza, sushi, etc! There's also a farmers market with fantastic produce outside. Very nice!
This place was AMAZING! This is a MUST see on your trip to Nashville. It is RIGHT BY the Tenn. Museum. We walked all around because Google Maps was confused on our location. There's a veterans memorial across the street and literally right next to the farmers market Is the museum. The market had plants, food, ingredients, spices, clothing, wood crafts, etc. It also has a food court that displays food from different countries. There was also a musician there. They have bathrooms. It's also a great photos place.
This was a pretty cool little farmers market. They had everything from restaurants to fresh produce. I even found something that I love so much and a great variety of bonsai trees. They also had some of the best wine I have had from a local winery. Very cool and walking distance to the Bicentennial park which is also another great experience! Thank you Nashville for a great experience!
Started out my day here. The inside is like a food court. I had gone a little later in the day maybe around 2 and the farmers market portion wasn’t open which was disappointing as there’s not as much else there. I had a hot dog and beer which were both great. This is still a bit away from downtown but I didn’t mind the 15-20 min walk to downtown.
What an amazing place. We came here to try out some Peruvian food and got lost in everything else! Whatever type of food you want - they have it. Clean bathrooms - yup. Plenty of places to sit and relax in a friendly environment - absolutely. Come check it out…you won’t be disappointed!
Disfruta/Enjoy! 💯 🔥
Absolutely loved this visit to the Nashville Farmer's Market. Fresh food, baked goods, soaps, sauces, floral, antiques, crafts and more. I love shopping local and this by far was the best local market I've been to on my travels. Then there's the inside food market as well. Seating area, multiple restaurants and even live music. Fantastic service, products and venue! Thank you Nashville Farmer's Market and all venders involved
Neat farmers market. Visited in January, so there’s not many vendors out. But still nice shops. Inside is the restaurants. Tried the Boba Love and it was really good! The restaurants smelled so good! The outdoor greenhouse has really nice, rare houseplants and pots.
Prices for fresh vegetables have been cheaper here, compared to many other markets I have visited in middle Tennessee. Love the variety of fresh vegetables and food! Make the trip, you should be pleased.
Bought a few plants at Gardens of Babylon and some veggies from farmers. Then I discovered a little hidden gem.
WOW! WOW!! WOW!!!
My entire family just nodded their heads.
YES! YES!! YES!!!
While eating their fresh and tender brisket sandwiches, buffalo hot grits, rich Mac and Cheese at B&C Market BBQ. Definitely high on my favorite places to get good southern Bar-B-Que!
PS - The food court often has a live performer playing music. If you are a restaurant in the middle Tennessee area, you need live entertainment. Like if you agree we need more live entertainment in Tennessee restaurants!
What a wonderful visit. I usually go about once a year for turnip greens to freeze for Christmas. Boy am i missing out. I was able to buy fresh sweet potato gnocchi, fresh blackberries, wild plums that were so sweet, zucchini, and a peanut butter chocolate latte. I was in a bit of a rush and didn't get to spend as much time inside as I wanted but it was definitely packed. If I had to add a critique it would-be there are nnot enough parking spaces. Drive in circles long enough and you will eventually find a spot.
Lovely spot in Nashville. Particularly loved Clay Daddy’s pottery where my friend and I bought some unique pieces. The market seemed sparse when we went, probably because it was too early or it’s no longer peak harvest season. Nonetheless, the vibe & colors were present.
A wonderus cultural diverse experience you must try! This place is nestled near the capital and has so much to offer. Everything from Greek/Iranian, Italian, Jamacian, French, Asian , vegan , bubble tea , BBQ and a hot dog joint with a pub. I tried Greek, Italian, Asian and bubble tea. All of which were good. I'd recommend the bubble tea and Italian. Everyone seemed friendly and ready to serve. Everything was made in a timely manner and seemed quite fresh. The seating was plentiful, but the place did start to get busy as it was lunch hour. Everything was clean and orderly as well. This is an experience you really wouldn't regret.
This place was great. Obviously a locals hot spot. Great place for fresh produce and great food!
We stopped by after visiting the Nashville State Museum.
Had a burrito from the Burrito Restaurant, kids had pizza and Orange chicken from other vendors. Food was hot, fresh and authentic!!
Live music while we are. Great environment and atmosphere!!
Love this place!!
This was the perfect start to our day. Great place to grab a quick breakfast, walk around and do some local shopping. Make sure to walk over to the park nextdoor and see the WW2 Memorial and the amphitheater gives a great view of the Capital building.
Very impressive setup for a major downtown. Lots of great food options in the main building, and a fun outdoor area with local vendors from produce, to spices, to art, and a lot more. There weren’t as many vendors as we we’re hoping for, but it was in the 20 degree range all weekend—assuming this spot is really in its prime during the spring and summer months.
Nice choices of food. Eating area was very clean. The Bicentennial Park was interesting. Court of 3 stars was neat and the sounds played were entertaining.
We really enjoyed stopping here. We came for a wine testing but looked around. My wife got some good smelling soap and some Georgia peaches. Lots of places to get something to eat. Only negative was the parking. It took us a while to get a spot.
This is a MUST SEE! The food court by itself is worth the visit!
Grab a gyro from one of the sweetest ladies Mona. She is amazing moving here from Egypt serving amazing food and caring for her boys. Be sure to see her and don't forget to get extra tabbouleh because 1 won't be enough!
The bubble tea is the best I've had in the states. You can choose from a vast array of flavors to include milk teas, fruit teas, or even just tea. Add to it regular boboa, or popping juice filled balls, or fruit jellies. We can personally attest to the honeydew milk tea and jasmine green tea flavors.
There is also a crapè place that is outta this world! Not only do they have the traditional sweet and yummy crapès but they have added a savory and yummy twist. Wither you choose Nutella banana or Philly cheese steak you cannot go wrong!
There is also a brewery that serves superb hotdogs: picnic, Chicago, or many others... oh yum! They have big baked and salted pretzels served with their own beer cheese.
BUT don't forget to go out side and see AL! He works the stand for Hancock Family Farms. I have never ever seen more beautiful produce except maybe in Seattle, but they will give them a run for their $. The mums are beautiful, spreading almost 2 ft or more in diameter, high as my hip, and filled with God's beautiful colors. Their produce and products are delicious! You can taste the REAL apple in the cider and chunks of fruit in the jam. The tomatoes are bigger than my fist and come in flavor bursting beefsteak or sweet. The guys even picked the best apples for us. Hint they have honey crisp, but they also have something better...crunchyer and sweeeeet! Everything is beyond amazing with Hancock Family Farms including their workers! Be sure to see AL 😃 Oh I almost forgot to mention their prices are just as amazing as their people and produce.
A unique find located on Rosa L Parks Blvd in Nashville, TN. Step inside a space that provides a sensory overload. Boasting multiple restaurants and shops, enjoy cuisine from all around the world. Stop by Bubble Love and experiment with their boba concoctions. Enjoy live music and explore the shops selling local goods. You could spend hours inside the Nashville Farmers' Market! Truly a hidden gem.
During the summer months this is my favorite place to go for local vendors and cleanly souced foods. I am always hesitant to buy meat from grocery stores for-hopefully-obvious reasons, but the farmers here will go into detail about the humane treatment of their animals, including diet and environment. It makes me feel a little less guilty about resisting vegetarianism LOL. There is also a local pasta stand that uses a wheat mill that doesn't hurt gluten-sensitive (not diagnosed celiac) people! There is no shortage of spices, hot sauces or local honey. It also features a live cooking demonstration and drinks in the warmer months. Worth it if you're visiting or live in Nashville!
Traffic was surprisingly not bad on a Monday. Parking was free for two hours and easy. I love how the market is near the park too. I took my cousin out here and got a pic of her by the Nashville sign. The food was great. We had boba tea and sushi. This is a great place to take friends and family when showing Nashville.
We happened to stumble upon this market while visiting Bicentennial Park and were so glad we did! The market had so many food and drink options of all different kinds and the live music was great! There is definitely something at this market for everyone. They even had some vendors outside selling local crafts and goods which was really awesome to see and support local. Definitely recommend!
I love farmers market in Nashville Tennessee this time of year! You get the most beautiful pumpkins and flowers there this time year! The prices are really good! Average price you'd expect to pay for unique flowers and pumpkins!.believe me there are so many types and colors it will drivenyou crazy trying to choose!(it does me at least)😍 and they have a indoors food court! With a good variety of foods to pick and desserts also! Novelty stores it's really great 👍🏾 😁
Was a nice place with lots of options for food. Unfortunately we went during the week in Nov so there wasn't much set up outside other than one vendor. Convenient location for trolley pickup. We stayed at a condo nearly, parked here all day at no charge and hopped on trolley, went home for lunch, then jumped back on trolley. Beautiful park across the street for walking, jogging or sitting on benches or picnic table. Felt very safe
It was nice but a little barren for a farmers market.
Might have been the day but I’m not sure.
Either way worth the trip if you are in the area.
Standard farmers market fare plus a huge garden center. Plenty of food options especially if it’s lunchtime. Also has local made items too! Easy , free 2-hour parking.
Arrived around 3 and most vendors were packing up. Expected more restrooms. Only 3 stalls
Very awesome farmers market. The inside portion of the building is almost more like a food hall . Lots of different restaurants, coffee shops and food in all different ethnicity.
Outside but still under a roof is the farmers markets . Lot of different vendors selling meats, cheeses, groceries, candles, soaps and cutting boards.
I bought a cutting board from walnut Hill. Truly amazing looking. I had it shipped so I didn't have to carry or I would add a picture
Many improvements since the first day I visited in 2008, now there are a indoor area where many restaurants located and very beautiful outside
Visit on the weekend if you want more of a selection of farm fresh things, but we went on a Tuesday and they still had some available. But our favorite part was the restaurants inside. They had something for everyone, even vegan tacos. But we chose the pizza place. Made with all homemade, fresh ingredients, it was the best pizza we had ever tasted.
I and my wife have been enjoying our visits at the Farmers Market for several years now. We have found that the food vendors do an awesome job. Best pizza in Nashville without the gourmet twist. The fresh produce is very good too. They have events at times that really do help with morale. Go visit and enjoy their hospitality.
Wonderful produce, plants, garden accessories and quality items designed by artists!
Cool spot. Good place to bring the family and they have some great eating spots inside. different flavors from all over the world. most are also family or Independently owned. We had a great time!!
We also rented some of the Electeic bikes and rode those around and had a great time as well.
Great food !
We eat at the bella nashville pizzeria. It reminded me of the pizza in Napoli,a little bit:)
It's a modern, year round big city farmers market. There are your typical craft food vendors indoors and a true old school fresh vegetables and other suppliers of things like honey and spices outdoors over a covered roof. There's even a plant nursery at one end. During the week, less vendors are around, so if you're looking for a more active atmosphere wait until Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Additionally, there's a sizable city park that can be accessed behind the market, so if you're looking for somewhere to stretch your or more importantly your kids legs this should meet your needs.
We were visiting from California. Loved every part of it. There was enough variation in the food court. In particular, we loved Jeni's Ice Cream!! Fabulous!
Also loved the Greek food, kabobs, tiziki sauce! Loved the talented young man singing over the weekend!!
great place for visit... a lot of local farmers or craftsmen with local products...
This was our first visit and will definitely return. The food court was spacious and pleasant. We had sandwiches from a BBQ place which were delicious. Lots of interesting vendors to shop from after.
We love shopping at the farmers market. So many amazing vendors! You have to stop by The Longest Thread while you are there. One of our favorite vendors. There is so much food that we usually try something different each time. Royal Boba is also one of our go to bubble tea stops.
This place is kinda like a Grand Central Market in (CA) and a small farmers market AND a plant nursery. We got Bubble Love. Def recommend.
Love this market. It has so much to offer including a large food court. There is parking and restrooms. A cool place to visit for tourists looking for a glimpse of what Nashville offers. Restaurants, retail, coffee, produce and florals all in one big place. ☺
Fun little farmers market! Food hall had many options to chose from. Outdoor areas were my favorite. Not many things to choose from but vendors were absolutely lovely and customer service was 100%. Purchased some fresh honey, Nashville hot chicken seasoning, and some fresh cookies for my bf and I to share!
Great eatery. Lots to explore. Very friendly vendors. Free tasting.
While I didn't eat here, I could see that this place would be a perfect spot for lunch. It's called a farmer's market but it's more like a food court. I'm guessing in the summer there are a lot more vendors selling produce in the outdoor area. The indoor area has a variety of food stalls that all looked fantastic. I will plan to come here for lunch if I am in Nashville again.
Loved the atmosphere, the variety of food, the cleanliness. Sometimes you have live music!! Perfect for a quick lunch for your lunch break. And fantastic place to meet with friends.
Nashville Farmers Market is our regular stop after Sunday church. Produce is always fresh and locally grown. Great seasonal produce, honey, artisan breads, meats, pastas, and don't forget the fresh mushrooms LOVE the mushrooms! And the folks are really friendly, too! Thank y'all!!!
Awesome selections! I had a great time! I could stay in there for hours wondering the big building and the outdoors area. Very pretty scenery because of the park right next to it. Would totally go again!
Sometimes calm, sometimes crazy busy, but always fun! Local vendors and yummy treats everywhere around us when we go. They have really upped their game over the last few years. A great alternative to broadway which is a madhouse.
One-stop shop for food, drinks, music, crafts, gifts, art, food, coffee, and a little bit of in-between! Be sure to snap a few photos with fun photo ops available! There is a parking lot and street parking in nearby neighborhoods.
Love everything about this fun, funky eclectic space of shops, fun eats, and OMG... The Farmers roast coffee. I went 2 days in a row for a bourbon maple latte... So great! Easy free parking, friendly vendors and artisans. If I lived in Nashville this would be a weekly stop!!
Amazing Farmers Market with great food and awesome unique finds. I've been coming for months and also helped a few people with their booths and I've got to say, I love the atmosphere and all the people. Candle with a Handle, Nashville Picks, and Lynchburg Soap Company are a few of my favorite booths to visit.
Excellent farmers market! Ample fresh produce, quality food stalls on the inside and friendly vendors outside!! Farm City Coffee was amazing (try the whiskey chai latte w/ oat milk) and the Fountain of Juice was the best juice I’ve had in my life (and I drink a lot of juices). The Laced Pineapple was so delicious I’m going to visit their brick and mortar store!! Lots of beautiful indoor and outdoor plants and specialty items such as goat milk soaps for sensitive skin, CBD oils, African body butters and patterns and food trucks. Would highly recommend if your visiting the area!
Great place to visit and hang out. Local vendors selling items and tasty food court. Family friendly atmosphere and even live music playing inside. Enjoy!
Went here on a weekday and it was kind of dead, but great lunch options after the TN Museum. I had Chicken bibimbop at Bowl and Roll and was so shocked by how great it was! Lots of free parking
I enjoy coming here on the weekend snd and you can go inside for lunch. There are plenty of vendors with fresh fruit, vegetables, cheese, wine, popcorn, pasta, lamb meat & etc. There are vendors with nice art, jewelry, clothes, candles & etc. Today I purchased a bag of Georgia Peaches & they are super delicious. You leave them in the bag a few more days to finish ripening. I also purchased some handmade tamales & I can't wait to try the cheese/pepper tamales. Come out & support our local vendors.
Love this spot for lunch! We try to stop in during each visit to Nash and are never disappointed by the selection & atmosphere. Thanks to the guitar player taking requests, it was great.
This place has really come up since I grew up in the 60s in Nashville and there was a run down store and farmers would have their trucks and sell their stuff from the back of it. The food court is pretty sophisticated and the plant place blew me away. There really wasn't that much of a variety or selection though of produce and the prices were comparable to the grocery. The tomatoes I got were the best I've had in years though. The experience is good for tourists.
Nice place to visit and the indoor foor court was nice with seating enough for the crowd. Wished for better signs or map of all food vendors. The ones on the end are hard to see and unless you're familiar with the vendors, you would miss out. Food was decent and atmosphere was lively and fun. Food should have been better but we did enjoy ourselves. The farmers market were ok and sold locally grown produce. Unlike other places that just sold grocery produce at higher prices, these were locally grown. Variety was not great for that reason with abundance of tomatoes and squash everywhere. Still better than some other places.
I really love the farm stands here, it's great being able to get to know the people who produce our food too.
Only downside is that management here is terrible. Recently found out that the market fines the businesses for opening a little late or closing a little early. Not a great way for a city to support its small business owners who don't have the staff to keep stalls open during family emergencies/illness etc.
Has everything for you to try all in one location. There are so many choices of diverse food. I recommend a stop here if you are ever in Nashville's history district.
Great place to have some ice cream ,coffee , boba tea and brunch/lunch.
They have a variety of options to pick and choose from and each one of them is delicious.
We got the bubble tea , jenis ice cream , indian place curry and rice and ended up with some lamb shanks from the Mediterranean place .
Overall a great place to hang out with friends on the weekends
Got collard greens and farm eggs. Both were fresh and delicious.
One of the best farmers market that I've been to. It is really a combination farmers and swap meat market. Great place to go to to shop and to eat. Highly recommend
Worth a visit. Nice selections if you arrive early. Permanent around-the-world restaurants have some good foods & beers
Medium size market. There is a big food court.
I had NEVER experienced one like this. Im originally from Cali- our farmer markets are out in the weather- they have little restaurantes but the best by far was the mexican resturant. Delicious Tortas!! I'm always on lookout for "Foster Freeze hamburgers with those steak fries, fried zuccunni" and Tortas. Just reminds me of home food. Will definately be back- will take hubby there to *hoping for tomorrow*
Really nice farmer's market! Be sure to check out the Boba tea spot, the Winery, and the pet boutique! I got matching collars for my dogs and they're perfect!
This is a small farmer's market with a great food court so I think it's a bit of a misnomer to call it a farmer's market. That being said there looks like there is some nice local produce and meats for sale. The food vendors in the hall are terrific and we really enjoyed the pop up food stall 2 Peruvian Chefs, but there are many other choices including Indian, Korean, Cajun/Creole, Southern food are all there they also have a tap room that had draft beer from local breweries. Seating is communal so grab a seat. Parking is tight but free.
Highly recommend checking out the farmers market. Lots of fun places to eat and drink on the inside. We got crepes and had a wine tasting. Batch is located on the inside on the middle of the food court. Lots of vegetables and pumpkins to pick during the pumpkinfest. They also had jams, soaps, art, jewelry etc
Really nice, good selection of different local item. My wife was very happy to find some delicious pickled okra.
I consider this my go to for lunch, coffee, and even to pick up gifts, there’s so much there. The Nashville Farmer’s Market is one of the best around. Plenty of restaurant options from BBQ, Chinese, pizza, sandwiches, jerk chicken, gyros, and a lot more! Have a wine tasting, grab some ice cream, or a cup of got chocolate. Wow! Everything you need is here. The outside market has a great selection of locally seasonal grown fruits and veggies, so fresh and tasty. The Farmer’s market is open 362 days and there’s plenty of FREE parking!
Fun hipster-esque community food court filled with excellent food in a fun environment. Located across the street from the Tennessee State History museum and the capitol mall, this is a great place to stop and eat. Free parking is a plus.
Cool farmer's market with great permanent vendors. You'll find a little of everything, especially a huge garden/plant area. Photo opps, varied food options, clean restrooms great coffee, and lots of great space (green and otherwise) around the building.
Check it out!
Great market. We enjoyed ourselves. TNC bbq in the food court was one of the best meals I had while in Nashville.
Get your local fares and come enjoy a soft evening in the history bicentennial park. Close to what was known back decades ago the bourbon blues area of germantown. Now its bout UK queen few good local restaurants in a big neighborhood with recently built Tennessee museum.
Fantastic market that opens daily with lots of home grown/ farmed fruits, vegetables, meat& even seafood. Extremely friendly stall owners. Have a food hall nearby. Some activities from time to time, cooking lessons etc. Great experience ~
We visited the farmers market in late December and even than it was a hopping spot. Lots of small local food vendors, local artisans, located inside. There is another inside section for farming products but it was closed during winter. However, there were few farmers with produce located outside. The market is open in the evenings, even during winter. Great place to meet friends and enjoy low key food places.
So awesome! Lots of vendors with a great selection of goodies. Check out Gardens of Babylon Landscapes...it’s a plant lovers dream. Would visit again without a doubt.
We are in May. Just went there they had a total of three vendors two of them fruits and vegetables. Couldn't buy anyting their both have very low varieties. I understand that we are starting the season with the coal just finishing a few weeks ago. I'm giving them a score of 4 stars because it seems like a nice place to go when the vendors are all in. Will check back and update.
God bless this is heaven on Earth. Just driving through we stopped for lunch, I had two lunches... Just amazing variety of food. Goat curry was greatest of all time! Jerk chicken was good, fried plantains were amazing. I almost wanna ditch our plans for Florida and just stay here it was so amazing!
The farmers market was empty, only like 3 booths open
A unique place with good food of a variety of cuisines. It’s worth stopping at as a visitor on the weekend if it’s your thing.
Must be that we were early or a weekday or both but pretty empty outside and less than half opened inside. I am sure when it is full this a bustling place. Bad timing.
Great market and food choices to eat while at the market. Very open and laid back atmosphere. Many great options. I loved the gardening area. They had a great variety of succulents.
The Nashville Farmers Market is across the street from Bicentennial Park. There's an air conditioned food court and a shaded area where they sell produce, plants and other items typically sold in farmers markets. There's free parking nearby.
The variety is good. If you visit Bicentennial Park, which I recommend, then you should cross the street and visit the Nashville Farmers Market, too.
Such a neat experience! We are out of town so couldn't take advantage of all the fresh produce and plants but there is also a great food court with so many delicious options and art, candles, woven items, etc. That you can find too.
Surprisingly diverse food choices. Brightly lit. Right in the thick of things. Good place for lunch if you spent the morning at the state museum.
I love the food court and the fresh veggies/fruits I can get. There are usually events and very nice sellers, I haven't visited this recently but I know it would be the best place to atleast visit once.
Awesome combination of local vendors, shops and food options set in a lively atmosphere! Occasionally, there’s live music playing as well
I love coming here to shop and enjoy. Had a great time looking at all the plants and taking home a eucalyptus plant.
Famers Market is very cool, I like there because not only can I get my fresh vegetables there , love tomatoes by the way but you can hang out there inside and good spot
It was a nice place to walk around with family. Plenty of different foods to eat and stores to browse.
Visiting Neta’s Naturals store located in the Nashville Farmer’s Market is amazing. Meeting store owner Martha warmed my heart. Each item she selected is clearly hand selected. So special. Jamaican, African, Indian, and Nashville treasures! And real fruit juices. And International items that aren’t heavily processed. Natural skin and hair products. I appreciated the love and special care she’s created for her store. Even the music as I walked in was uplifting. Thank you, Martha, for sharing your goodness with others. I will absolutely tell people about your store.
Some of the items I’m excited about:
Goan Fish Curry sauce
Punjabi Choley no preservative freezer meal
African black soap
Hot Sauce Nashville- Green sauce, Red garlic sauce
Fresh papaya
Fedora hat
Peppermint oil
White sage
Licorice root powder- great for gut health, relieves acid reflux and heartburn

We met for lunch with a couple of friends who flew in from Iowa. They loved the variety and freshness of the food and farm stalls. Honestly, the pastry was irresistible and the mushrooms just glowed! We tried 6 flavors of ice cream got the special coffees, tipped each of the musicians, and sampled the Korean restaurant's specialties.
Everything was delicious, the people were unfailingly friendly and (bonus points) the recycling stations have a compost option.
My go-to place to eat when I'm downtown Nashville. We tried Delta 61 and the food was very good and best of all most affordable! Food court and restroom super clean. After our meal we walked the park and visited the new State Museum.
This was one of the best farmer's markets I've been to in terms of variety, accessibility, and quality. There's an indoor food court which has everything from BBQ, crepes, coffee, a normal bar, organic foods, etc., and there is a stage as well so there's live music if you go at the right times. To that point, we went at 10:30am on a Saturday which I think was the perfect time; there were people around but it wasn't overly busy and the vendors were all open by that time.
Outside of the food court are the fruits/veggies, goods, and other misc. products. There's stuff like handcrafted jewelry, blankets, local alcohol, local designers, and a ton of other things. Finally, near the back is a very expansive greenhouse/greenery area with a wide variety of plants. Honestly, I was so disappointed that I couldn't take plants on a plane; I really wanted to grab some!
Overall, it was a great place to eat, hangout, and see what local products were around. If you're a tourist like I was, then it's also a great place to get some souvenirs or gifts to take back for family/friends. My one only complaint is that there are very limited restrooms so you may get stuck in line waiting for one.
Incredible Farmers Market experience. If you're not from Nashville (I'm not) I highly recommend visiting here. Some of the best places to eat in the nearby indoor market and the outdoor market has such an interesting variety and quality goods, and there's usually live music! Brilliant place. 2 Peruvian Chefs was especially amazing.
Beautiful place, I love it because the vegetables are fresh, all very natural ... every time I go to breakfast and then I walk to enjoy the vegetable shopping !! I recommend them at 8 am is already open! after 10am it is very difficult to get parking!!
Based on my previous experiences with night markets in other cities I expected to see more crowd, hear more music, see more entertainment and shop more from local vendors. But, alas! The people were there. They looked kind of disappointed too. There was a line to the only wine testing spot. And the only beer spot. Why??? And that’s in Nashville, where tourists are ready to pedal and get drunk at the same time!!!
I say it’s poor management of the venue. I checked their rental prices and they are high and with such light traffic, all revenue would likely go to rent.
Great potential, though.
About the food. Crepes were ok. Roast beef consist of the commercial unidentifiable roast beef of gray color and it was stupid of me not to say anything when I watched it to be made.
The Picnic Tap had only one choice of cider and we were thankful for it. Chicago style hot dog - not so much. It was rather dry and unpleasantly cold, There were no sauce and the hotdog itself laid on the bed of cold chopped green sweet pepper🤔
This place is awesome! Full of cultural diversity in foods and people. The natural foods look delicious as well! I’m glad that there’s a place to get food grown in our own country.
Everyone loves the Farmers Market! Restaurants, ice cream, gift shops, etc fill the inside, while produce vendors and gift vendors fill the outside. Whether you are looking to grab a bite and spend a few minutes walking around, or buying your weekly produce and soaps, this is a great place to visit.
Amazing place to stroll around and enjoy all the variety of shops case flavors and smells.
I love going. Everything isn't always open. Prices are a little expensive inside at the restaurants but worth it.
What a dream. So many vendors and everything you could need or want all in one place. Food, plants, crafts, drinks, and more all together! Everyone was so friendly and it was very clean. I can’t wait to visit again!
Everything was very Good. The Veggie shopping and as well the Fresh squeezed Lemonade. Good stuff. The two vendors I went to was very nice and helpful. Will be going back again. Thank you for being there for Us!
Love the market!! Great food and gift shops. I didn't get to tour the garden center but will do so when coming back while on my bachelorette trip next month. 😁 @sarahepresley 🥳 …
Really nice! A very nice combination of produce, artisan work, and flea market style retail. The food venues inside the building make it a viable date idea
Lots of great food, but a bit slow to open on the day I went. Perhaps it was the holiday weekend, but arriving mid-morning I was surprised at the low number of kiosks open. Lots of great parking, which was awesome to see and the food I picked up was amazing!
I wish I lived closer. I love the fresh product and local tomatoes. In the fall they have tons of pumpkins. Parking can get crowded some come early!
Great food and coffee! Huge selection of in season produce, lots of plants, and homemade goods. Also great spot to take some photos!
Love it! Our first time, variety of food. I had chicken crepes and my husband wood fire pizza. It was delicious 😋 …
Best BBQ joint I've been too in years. The brisket was amazing. The hot sauce was really good. I went back to see if I could get a few pounds and a vat of sauce to go, but they were already closed.
Attended the New Year's Eve celebration here. Nice park, clean. Limited parking. Staff was a bit confused for this particular event, but would attend again.
The main building was great, though the actual farmer's market was disappointing. This was my first time here and I heard great reviews, but there were a lot of empty spots when I went to see the produce. Didn't see anyone selling meat. Bad timing? Well, it was raining a bit earlier.
But I enjoyed the food and indoor decorations. Due to power outage I couldn't get any ice cream but the crepes were delicious!
This place is just cool!! Fun, food, music, drinks and great people. They have day and night events!! What else can you ask for!! Its a must visit if you are in Nashville!!
Fun and good deals on produce and seasonal decorations! The parking situation is terrible right now tho! It looks like they may be renovating the parking lot, so that's good. The food court is amazing with lots of ethnic choices from many cultures. Our 9 year old and 1 year old both loved it! Beware of lunchtime tho, as that's when the surrounding city is trying to get in there for their awesome selection of foods.
It's an all natural experience of retailing, community, foods, relaxing, and a worldwide local connection.
Most places were closed due to the time, but this place is amazing! Great air flow for a hour summer day. Lots of places to choose from to eat & different styles to boot. A small but overly-expensive taproom and a plant/flower nursery!
I'll definitely come back here earlier in the day.
Definitely worth the visit.
Head down to the farmer’s market for some great food, wine, and entertainment. Yes! A wonderful girl was playing the acoustic guitar and it was delightful!
Natchez Hills has a tasting counter. Stop and grab a flight. ;)
The pizza was out of this world!
The farmers market was full of amazing people, delicious foods, and really nice location. My wife and I particularly enjoyed the boba tea stand at the market and would love to come back again!
We've been coming here for years and it's always a delight. Always a great atmosphere great people and good food. The veggies are always fresh and reasonably priced. The ice cream is AMAZING and the Jamaican place there is delicious. Must visit when I'm t area.
Fun place to find something from Nashville or that food item for that special meal. I found a jewelry piece that is pretty cool and a few other items.
Fun place! Go see it..
Lots of nice organic and specialist food. Very interesting aesthetic and setup. Also a big food court with food from all over even Boba tea and crepes!
Loved the Fall Ball Ya'll today! The music was great in the farm sheds, the kids area was a hit and all the vendors seemed to have a great day!!
Food, Food and more food! Enjoyed taking with the local vendors! Tasted some Great cider! Smelled some wonderful soap. When in town buy local!!
Always wanted to go and was not disappointed yes it crowded but I see why great food great things to buy and they open daily? Awesome
So many cool vendors and a food court/market area inside that's a fantastic way to beat the heat while sampling tasty local fare. It's a must visit if you're in the area!
The barns of the farmers market have an amazing selection of produce and and plants. The indoor market had plenty of options for places to eat and they all looked delicious. This place would be great for a family or a relaxing Sunday morning. Also swing by the park next door!
There are a ton of selections when it comes to food and lots of fresh veggies, and you can also get plants if you love plants.
This is an amazing place and fun. You have plenty of food choices with multiple international options as well as great local food. Fun craft items, local plants and produce, and huge nursery on site. Easy to walk to from downtown and right by the Museum and Park
Only 2 vendors there... We ate at a Chinese restaurant inside and it was nothing to write home about .. brought home my left overs and wound up throwing it away... Not good warmed up...yuck!!! Won't be eating there again....
If you get there when they open at 8am there's still plenty of parking. The Crepe place opens at 8am so you can get breakfast there. The couple of coffee shops there are also open early the cinnamon roll was yum. The fruits and veggies were amazing, so fresh and affordable!! Wish we could have bought flowers too. Oh and the vendor selling the banana bread and apple pie!!! You've got to eat the apple pie.
Not many vendors during the week. Love the large plant nursery. The food court has a large variety of ethnic foods. They do have on site free parking.
Opens at 8am, we got there at 10am and most places were still closed. Went back later in the afternoon and several places had already shut down. Not as many gift shops as we'd hoped.
Sip Tn was such an amazing event! I love that it was held at the farmer's market - I'll use any excuse to spend a Saturday there. So many cute shops and local items. Everything's so unique. Great food options! Thankful they have outdoor heaters in this chilly weather.
Enjoyed the walk through and surrounding area.
Wonderful little food court area with almost every food type. I had some wonderful Korean Sushi (Vegetable Kimbap) from Bowl and Roll, and a equally delicious Vegetarian Pesto Crepe from Music City Crepes. The atmosphere here is amazing, and if you dont like the crowds, I'd recommend going in the evening, its like finding your own little hole in the wall!
What a cool place fresh vegetables honey ethnic clothing lots of food choices can't go wrong spending at morning there.
We can’t say enough about how much we love the local vendors and local small businesses represented here at the Downtown Farmers Market. This place has come to be like a small family for our startup Bubble Tea shop and we have been so grateful for the community here. This spot has a small town feel about it and it’s fun to connect with neighbors or new friends who frequent our vendors. We love the Farmers Market! You’ll find an international flavor here that will satisfy your cravings!
Always aliy of food options to choose from. Hated that they didn't have the salad bar open today, but was able to find something else to fill my belly
Going with a group here is a fantastic idea. There are multiple ethnicities of food available to meet everyone's taste buds and you can all eat together in a central location. You can also just grab, coffee, ice cream, or a glass of wine.
Farmers market was fun. Not sure if it was just this particular weekend or not but there were still a lot of vendor spots open which was disappointing. There were some unique stops like metal work and build your own salad, which was Awesome!. But over all the focus is definitely on plants and compared to Chattanooga’s Sunday Farmers Market, Nashville was lacking a bit.
Super cute! Right next to the state museum and park! And very close to the capital. I'm not sure if the stands are only open during certain days/ hours of the week but when I went there the food court was the only thing open besides the what I'm assuming is a plant nursery! I actually ended up buying a cactus. The lady that helped me was super nice and personable and extremely knowledgeable! She helped me pick out the perfect plant and even repotted the plant into it's bigger pot! I then paid for my plant and came back to pick it up with a smooth transaction! Definitely worth checking out! I separately would rate the plant place 5 stars!!
Prepared Foods and fresh produce fun stop for an hour or so. The free trolly can take you back to down town! Gyros, ribs, ice cream , beer
This market is cool. Most vendors were closed due to Memorial Day. Adjacent to the market is a long black marble wall with nothing but Black History posted on it from the 1800s on up. Nashville's best kept secret. Adjacent to that is a really nice park. People were out walking and enjoying the breeze.
We love the farmers market! Great place to take a group - the food options are so varied everyone could get a different cuisine. Wonderful outdoor seating. During the summer it is ALIVE with all the produce and yummy goods anyone could need. The free parking is so amazing too.
Wow! Lots of different fresh vegetables and fruits at decent prices. You'll find honey, jewelry, plants, spices, jam, salsa, oils, incense, homemade goods and even live pigs! Excellent!
Nice market. Succulent Vegan Tacos is just inside at the food court.
Cool stalls to check out. Good amount of worldwide food options. Good place to use bathroom.
Really enjoyed visiting here and found a plant I just had to go home with! The shop owner was friendly and helpful, giving me tips on keeping my plant alive and healthy.
We had lunch here at a lovely Asian café and enjoyed it.
When you are in Nashville stop farmers market and enjoy some great deals on veggies and candles from sweet home candles and scents.
#johnsonfamily
Can't get enough of this place. It has everything I need.....and unfortunately, it also has a few things that I don't need, but buy them anyway.....#selfcontrol.
Overall family and kid friendly. Awesome food, environment, and people. Good ole Southern Hospitality.
Highly recommended
I showed up during a week day. Monday to be exact. There were only 3 vendors opened, which was just fine. So no crowd was associated. Did a walkthrough the nursery and got amazing help on ideas of foliage for privacy!
Beautiful and lively farmers market with AC in the dining area and tons of room; all small food stalls with reasonably priced and delicious treats. Perfect for a vacation or weekend lunch - a gem in the heart of Nashville
Very authentic farmers market!
We went to late, visiting from out of town. However I just know this place is bustling on a regular day! I cannot wait to go back
Small but effective. Great food and drink selection especially after finishing the history walk. If you’re lucky you’ll hear some live music near the wine bar. The music was great!
Great place for local vegetables. They also have a very nice indoor food court. Parking is horrible and the only reason I did not give them 5 stars.
Always worth a visit. The beer garden opening was today so it was packed. Great food, a lot of amazing artisans and crafts folks. There's a bunch of different flavors here, so you are going to have to swing by a few times. Try the fried rice, it's amazing!
Great selection and fun atmosphere. We especially loved the plant nursery. They had really interesting/rare plants.
Even with COVID closures and issues, still a great & fun atmosphere. Will be returning when everything opens back up.
Great produce to.buy live music places to eat and craft beer and wine.
A few different styles of food. 1 little "Tennessee gift shop". Prices a little high. Not many vendors. The garden / shop is awesome. The restrooms are a little creepy.
Always a great experience and excellent food places as well as an amazing plants.
Hasnt been the same since covid. Use to be vendors packed in the outside stalls. Now just seems to be a small smattering of a couple local farmers and goods.
Love having a nice, accessible place to shop local! Great selection and the people are lovely. Also many great restaurants and an international grocery indoors!
We really enjoyed our time at the farmers market. Layout was nice and I was very happy to have an indoor area with food and music. We will for sure be back!
I’ve been to Nashville twice, and both times I’ve come here. Excellent vendors, good food, clean, has free parking… I’ll be back.
Awesome selection, the food court is amazing. Found some really great art while there also.
Great spot. Had a variety of restaurants and even a couple little shops. We had the Bubble Tea and it was great.
Great place to check out if you’re in town. Lots of different food options and a clean/well maintained dining area. Friendly staff. Fast service. Parking in the lot is free though packed, and you can walk around the nearby park/memorial. Different businesses can be open at different times so check it out online!
It's was a good place to hang out and sit and walk around and meet people and food shops
I absolutely love the Nashville Farmers Market!! Such an incredible variety of shops & delicious food. El Burrito is hands down, my favorite breakfast burrito in town.
Lots of people selling the same stuff.
Update: True,we did go middle of the week, will for sure go back on a weekend !!
I am a huge fan if these types of markets.
Dazzling array of unique and nice diversity of food from nearly most ethnic groups. The quality of food here is fabulous. Enjoy the foods here and take a slow stroll outside to see the murals outside on the history of Tennessee. I only wish more activities that can be held outside to get more people here and possibly even provide free transportation from downtown to here with definitely invigorate more life here. Bring everyone here!
Love even just walking there, but I love shopping for fresh veggies and pure honey.
Always a fun place to stop and kill a little time, find some food, and hang out for a bit. Free and ample parking really helps too!
I love this place and the people. Something for everyone and fun new veggies to try!
Wonderful tomatoes and squash right now! I got them from Hancock family farms.
This place is so cute! Not what I expected when I walked in. We came in kind of late, so I didn't get to explore much. But the food area was great. We are from a Mexican food place and everything was so delicious! The employees were also very kind. I would definitely visit again.
Great selection of fresh healthy, locally grown food, beautiful plant selection!
I bought a plant and woody handmade magnet. I love such kind of place.
I love that the produce has to be grown by the people selling it. Lots of organic options, good food, wine shop and bar. They just gotta get rid of the plastic bags. Require your customer to being their own.
Decent little market, not tremendously diverse in items but was worth a walk through for sure.
Wish there was more vege vendors during the week. Local honey also and organic
Went there on labour day so it was crowded, but I really loved the atmosphere in here because of the freshness. Needs to clean the washrooms in here because it's kind of gross.Food is amazing. They have variety of foods.
Loved it and the raw sourwood honey from Strange Honey Farm is spectacular!
Met some friends there for lunch. Sat and talked and had coffee then we picked up sandwiches at Market BBQ spot and took them to go. Nice big ace with lots of options for food and drinks. The atmosphere was very nice. Not too loud or crowded! The week day is a better time to go if you want to avoid big crowds!
Place to go and have a several options for eat and time for shopping for groceries and something else.
Great little place to get Fresh Foods and a bite to eat listen to some
We really like coming here for the Mexican restaurant in particular but we're always curious about the other places. Bathrooms are convenient, although last time I went no towels or way to dry hands after washing. Minus one star.
Perfect! Clean! Go to Babylon and buy yourself something nice. Get a beer on the way or a wine from Natchez!
Great food choices. It's an incubator for new businesses. A wide range of flavors. There is also a microbrew bar with a good selection. Here's a picture of a mason jar of Porter.
Very awesome piece of Nashville! Definitely a must check out! Come sit down and get something to eat!
Great atmosphere with a lot of smiling people. Live music with lots of food. Indoor/outdoor and when we went there was three baby goats you could pet and hold. Jeni's ice cream was delicious
Went early for a breakfast. Found El Burrito. Yum. Truly made with ❤. Don't miss them back in the corner! Open for breakfast and lunch!
Very wonderful environment, absolutely love it here.
Restrooms do not get cleaned like there are supposed too... Besides that definitely a place you will remember.
Nice variety of food and refreshments. Worth the trip just to stop by Gardens of babylon.
Very clean and safe farmers market. We visit even time we are in Nashville.
Omg I loved it some much. I got some yummy food and the atmosphere was so amazing. Will go back soon
It's a great place! Lots of fresh vegetables to choose from and many other misc items. Good food and music too!
Im local … nice and clean a little pricey. Great for tourist
Best soaps breads and elderberry syrup!
Jalapeño cheese bread makes the best sandwiches
Absolutely amazing! Great variety of food and vendors!
We came to the Market to eat lunch after leaving the Tennessee State Museum. How convenient and they shared the parking lot. Free Parking. Lots of food options. I had Chinese food & my husband had wood fired pizza. Good prices & good location.
Lots of food to choose from. Not to many vendors selling stuff so it felt more like a food court. No complaints though.
We're staying at an AirBnB nearby. Love coming to this place. Coffee in the morning. Good places for lunch. Lots of options.
Wish we had something like this in our city...
We visited the farmers’ market when
on holiday, brilliant place to walk around nice place to have lunch and bit of shopping
Wasn't the best farmers market but it could be contributed to the time of day I went. Is go again earlier and maybe it would have seemed so lifeless
Everyone likes going to farmer’s market. So many selections 👍🏼🧑🌾 …
We went at 9 am to find many shops not open yet. Lots of things to look at, but disappointed in the selection when they were “open”.
Love this place!! All the different places to eat, walking around to see the different things they have there and the place that has all the plants and trees was very nice. They had some very cool trees
Here are 3 new places currently in this marketplace. Very beautiful building with metal based sitting area.
Love this place! Great music. Interesting people. Unique artists. Very talented people..
I love the Nashville farmers market and stop by often especially when someone's visiting Nashville 🤠 …
We had fun here got to browse local artisans eat some regional cuisine and just overall enjoy the afternoon. I recommend stopping by now and then. Worth it.
Great food at many different food places and reasonable prices. All the staff is excellent
Gardens of Babylon has a great variety. Prices are a little high but so is quality. Enjoy a beer while shopping! Food is good as well.
This is such a great spot. I'd like to come back on the weekend when it's busier to see what else is there. But there are so many different places to eat with a wide variety of foods. I also loved the garden space in the back where I was able to browse through so many different types of plants (which all look so healthy and well taken care of).
Edit: came back when it was busy. So many cool vendors and some of them appeared to take card payments.
Very nice experience! Awesome food court and local produce to purchase. I didn't take any pictures but we'd definitely visit again.
Free parking, great variety of market items, restaurants and even a big nursery for plants. Minus 2 stars due to lack of restroom facilities. Expect to stand in line to use the dirty little restrooms.
This place is amazing! It's like my local market on steroids. So much fresh produce, meat, flowers. They have coffee shops inside and local vendors with gift shops. A must visit.
Love going here for lunch while we are in town. Very good food!! Nice clean place, lots of seating. I've only been during lunch time on week days.
Still one of our favorites! For new visitors, best advice is to come hungry. There are tons of great places to eat inside. Think half restaurant emporium, half farmers market.
Really enjoy coming here. They have a good variety of food and drinks. Also towards the back of the farmers market you can find the park and have a nice walk after eating
Great amenities and vendor access, I just wasn’t finding the right vendors at the season I went when I was visiting
I love going here. Wished I had more weekends off to go. We always pick something up when we visit. Today we got some corn, potatoes, squash, bee pollen, elderberry, some baked goods. Lunch is always good too here. A lot of options to choose from. We like to look through the live plant section too while we are here.
Fun place to play real life Mario and jump from rock to rock. “Everyone’s doing it”-cool kids
I tried vegan tacos which where very tasty! The produce here is beautiful and the options and variety are perfect for every one's needs! This is a dog friendly place which was fun and live music. Cant wait to try some else new inside the farmers market!
Tons of varied food (bar bites, Indian, gyro, pizza, crepes). Delicious beer. Great selection of local farm fresh stuff on Saturday.
Always a great visit. I’ve been coming here since I was a little girl. Although the building itself is newish, the Farmers’ Market never disappoints. I appreciate how it has evolved through the decades with the changes in the city to offer more organic, wholesome, healthy living products. I will always be a fan.
It’s the best farmers market in the state. It’s not only the place to get all of your fresh, locally grown produce, it also has a lively food hall with a wide range of ethnic restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream, crepes, craft beer, a wine bar, international food store, gift shop, and a lot more. At the other end of the market is Gardens of Babylon, a beautiful plant nursery. I love everything about the farmers market and thankful we have it.
Nice, local atmosphere with different eateries to chose from depending on your mood. I liked that there were different ethnic foods to chose from. Will come back with my daughters
It was great, so many food choices.
I couldn't decide which vendor to go to, all the food looked delicious.
A fresh juice bar, where you can get smoothies.
Also you can buy all kind of things.
From beautiful flowers and plants. To belts and shirts.
You just gotta go see for yourself.
The people are friendly.
Stroll through and people watch, if nothing else.
Love the market!!! A truly balanced rendering of everything Nashville has to offer. From food trucks to greenhouse know-how, the market is a wealth of knowledge and experience from A to Z.
We got there at the end of the day, so most of the vendors were closed. When everything is open this looks like a great place to get special items. The Boba place make a great milk tea.
Nice atmosphere with fruit/veggie stands, restaurants, tables with indoor or outdoor seating,
A lovely spot for a quick bite and a beautiful park next to it to walk around
We went here around noon and there was a lot of people. There is so much produce for sale it's amazing. We ended up having a beer in the food court which was pretty cool. Lots of food choices and a great place to people watch. We'll go back for more produce for sure. Highly recommend. It's a great site to visit when visiting Nashville.
When I went, it was my first time, there wasnt as many vendors as I thought there would be. Looking forward to trying all the food inside & going back in the fall
Wish we could of spent hours more here. It's just a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Be patient with parking, it is definitely worth the wait.
One day trip from Memphis to NashVegas. My family LOVES the Farmers Market. Left at 7a returned home at 7p...
This is one of my favorite Nashville spots. There’s a little store where I can get Asian groceries. There are vegan, gluten free, and allergy friendly options inside. I’m looking forward to summer produce.
First time visitor. Impressed by the number of booths even during the winter. Caught a cooking demonstration sponsored by Edible Nashville that was divine!
Really enjoyed this location and a great late morning spot for entertainment, food, and shopping. Typical market to get anything from food and goods.
Nice food court with delicious coffee and cakes! There is a vegetarian Taco restaurant where you can enjoy live music!
Great local vendors and farmers. Love the indoor area as well.
Wow! This is not the Farmers Market of the 1980s. If you have kids my daughter says Jenni's is to die for. It's kinda boring but hey my kid enjoyed her outing. But I still prefer another creamery
So many locals bringing their goods to market. Plus incredible places to eat and live music!
This place is an acquired taste. If you don't like eclectic you won't like this place. My personal experience here is just to say there is NOT something for everyone to eat here. Gotta be willing to branch out on your taste buds.
Good to visit in day time. Lots of food options as well.
Family friendly market with great vendors!!! I go almost every week during the summer and Fall seasons, and I am never disappointed.
Loved all the fresh vegetables and fruits
Thoroughly impressed with this Farmer's Market. They had an indoor space with some shops and lots of dining options. None of the restaurants repeated which made selecting a meal more difficult. I like the variety that they offered (pizza, ice cream, Jamaican, Tacos, Deli, Burgers, Chinese, Bubble Tea, etc). They also had a greenhouse selling plants and an open air market for additional vendors to set up shop. Highly recommend you making a stop here if you are visiting Nashville.
Must have just gone on an off day, because it was boring and there didn't seem to be much of anything here. Not sure what else to say.
We happened to stop by prior to catching a local minor league game & was pleasantly surprised by the product available & overall appeal of the market. Heard a live band, purchased a few items from one vendor, & had some bubble tea too! Unfortunately, we came in at the closing end but look forward to coming back while they’re completely open & can get a chance to look through all the vendors inventory. Encourage everyone to come give em a peak while you’re in the area & enjoy yourselves.
My wife and I come here every weekend with our baby. Its a family friendly place that people should check out. A large indoor food court with live music most of the time, make this a place you could stay at and hang out at for a while.
This place, located within the Nashville Market, has a very large variety of plants. It is a stone's throw away from downtown Nashville. Visit them for your flower plants and veggies. The plants are healthy too.
Awesome time, lots of people, stalls, food, gifts, and live music. Totally recommend the ice cream and the jamaican food (with vegan and vegetarian options).
Great selection, depending on the season. Nice selection of shops inside as well
Loved everything here! Friendly stalls all around. Wish we stayed there longer to try ALL of the food since it all looked so good but the BBQ place was awesome, the gyro place was nice (it could use some hot sauce if you enjoy a kick in your food)
Busy place on Saturday so a bit hard to find parking. Music and lots to eat and shop.
I loved the food, using, and open atmosphere!
Amazing Indoor and Outdoor Farmers market with tons of knick knacks for the entire family to eat and purchase. Amazing venazulean arepas from Carcasville as well!
Great place to get veggies or a quick lunch or dinner
Great place. Lots of food choices and Im sure lots of cool farm stands on the weekends.
Nooleys Muffaletta was awesome.
Fresh produce, friendly folks, Arts and crafts, and plenty of food and beverages for the whole family! A must when visiting Nashville between Fri-Sun.
Love this place for lunch during the weekdays and the outside market on Saturdays.
Not much open on a Monday. But we did find food.
I've heard my friend talk about this place the "Nashville Farmers Market" for quite some time now. I was finally able to get away from Michigan and head south with my friend for a few days. I must say it is exactly what it sounds like, with a twist. It is everything you would expect from its title a "Farmers Market" where people gather to buy sell and even trade fruits, vegetables, meats, and any other farm related foods. But......
(here's the cool part).... When you walk inside you will see different restaurant stands set up throughout the entire place. You can order jerk chicken from the Jamaican restaurant, pizza from the Italian spot, representing the French... they have a crepe stand, or maybe your taste buds prefer Indian food with that slight hint of Curry... not your thing? No problem. You could always check out the Korean food stand or choose from one of the many available ethnic foods from around the world. I, myself, couldn't wait to order from the Greek restaurant stand. My lunch of choice today was the classic gyro meal, complete with fries and a beverage, for right around 10 bucks. And in all honesty, it was everything I expected it to be...... absolutely delicious. So if you are ever near the wonderful town of Nashville Tennessee, I highly recommend the Nashville Farmers market for your lunch or midday snack. Bring friends, you could all get a little something from each stand and share. Just a thought.
Even though it was a weekday & not many vendors were out, the ones that were there were awesome. Stopped at a vegetable stand & saw peaches. They were selling them by the quart but I only wanted one. The seller was very gracious & offered me one. It was, hands down the best peach I have eaten in a very long time. Thank you!!!
Quiet Saturday morning and we were able to get our veggies for the week. Stopped by the gourmet grill cheese truck and it was delicious.
Great place for everything wholesome you would expect when visiting a farmer's market. Mom and pop vendors, tourists hoping off a trolly, and the new money implant yuppies that call this place home. You can spend a day doing the family thing, a morning doing the business thing or an afternoon/evening doing a date thing.
Love it! Great food, great atmosphere, something for everyone An awesome place to spend your Saturday morning. Highly recommend.
Always perfect
Great.food
Awesome people watching

Best family meet up place
Great place to shop for fresh produce and meats!
Nice place with good vendors. Clean, restrooms, food, treats, tables to sit and booths to shop. Dogs allowed outside on leash. Parking was full but one circle and spots open up. Masks are still required. Plant and garden area to buy from as well. Made a nice Sunday morning.
Wonderful option of things to buy. Unique local gifts. Vibrant produce and plants. Clean. Very friendly people.
I thought this place was great! The food court has a lot of diverse options, but by the eye test, some looked higher quality than others. Jeni’s ice cream in a prime location was a treat. Loved the location and was a perfect lunch spot while spending time in the Capitol area.
Really love the Farmers Market in Nashville. Lots to do and lots to see. I ate my lunch there, outside on picnic tables. Shaded from the sun and breezy, I brought my own sushi from Kroger a couple of blocks away.
The only down side is its not handicap friendly; not one door from the street is hands free, not a single one.
Fresh local produce, local artist & entertainment, celebrity chefs & special events, restaurants from all over the globe.
Picnic Table was great definitely their vanilla cream beer!
Great selection and variety however most restaurants are closed every time I visit.
Some of the friendliest people ever here. Met some wonderful people here too. Loved looking and buying from different vendors!
Best place in town! Trust me when I was young every Saturday morning my family was at Farmer Market getting lol lol Trumip Greens, Sweet Potatoes, Field Peas, Country Smoke Meat... Thanks Farmer Market for the many years of service. The Maxwell Family is the only thing missing from Farmer Market.
Bought this beautiful indoor Bonsai tree from the garden section. ♥
Fairly cool vibe. Farmers' market and botanical area is outside, whereas a selection of food and drink options are inside. Farmers' market area has an array of produce and meat vendors, as well as several decor, clothing, and natural product booths.
The biggest drawback is the inconsistency of the food and drink places being open inside. Particular stands seem to be closed at random times, with no apparent rhyme or reason. Having said that, if you're not in need of grabbing a bite, this drawback would be a non-issue.
Now Pink Door cookies are there! Yum!!! Yes they have GF
First time going to the farmer's market...Loved it! Wide variety of crafts and produce, and the vendors were very friendly
Really pleasant, great food options, fresh veggies, other gift items, two hour free parking on weekdays, all day free parking on weekends!
Very cool Farmer's Market that is struggling to survive during the pandemic.
Even though the facility opened at 8am, very few off the shops and dining options were actually open when we went there for breakfast at 10am.
We ended up eating at Farm City Coffee. The breakfast sandwiches were REALLY good, though a little pricey at more than $6. The dark chocolate hot chocolate with a shot of espresso (aka "Dirty Hot Chocolate") was straight 🔥!!!
Definitely a good place to stop. Will visit again for sure!
We went on a Sunday so no vendors but almost all the inside shops were open. The over cream was amazing!!
Food was great, but there was nothing special about it. You could paste this food hall in any other part of country. The Jamaican spot inside was dooopppe. Also, the spicy chicken sandwich from another vendor was nice.
Still a little early for the season I guess but a cool place to take a walk thru. Hot dogs to wine tasting. Produce to hand made candles. They have ya covered.
Great local music. Large selection of foods. The park and history here is amazing
Found some good fresh baked bread and fresh eggs. Good selection of vegetables. Best beef around. Also the best place to buy Alaskan Salmon.
I recently visited the Farmers' Market for the first time and I love it! With the park right next to it, it makes for a fun, casual date or family outing. I recommend going on a week day if possible because there is nowhere near enough parking for the Saturday crowds. (Speaking of which, when I went on a Saturday, everyone was masked, but distancing was impossible.)
Love the idea to sell local products from people you know that put soo much effort in it. Very safe and clean, parking lot a little bit small but you always find a spot. Fair prices, very recommended.
Some markets stay open year round, most of the farmers don't do winter. Lots of changes to the food court now missing my favorite Indian international store.
Love this place, always clean. And when the farmers' market part is open it's even better. Inside there are a lot of dining choices.
Love this place!! Anytime of year definitely worth the visit. Plenty of “outdoor” Vendors with all sort of unique wares. I’ve been buying my Goats milk soap from Lynchburg Soap Co., for over 2 yrs!! There Every weekend without fail♥️
Plenty of food vendors inside and plenty of seating. Not to mention the assortment of plants and herbs. Great awesome place with local farm products and fresh local honey 😉
I would have liked more farm fresh foods to choose from not the restaurants inside. Cleaned fresh salads would've been nice we left and walked to Whole foods.
Great place to go! My whole family goes here every Saturday. Has delicious fresh fruit & plenty of gluten free cookies & pastries! Has live music.
Great place to go and enjoy food and wine 🍷. …
Amazing food choices, and lots of them. Very crowded, had to wander around a while before I found a place to sit.
Unfortunately, like so many places in Nashville, most of the Farmers Market stores close down on Monday. I highly recommend just staying away from Nashville on Monday as it is a waste of time. Everything you would think would be open is closed and there is nothing to do. The Nashville farmers market is no exception. The environment seamed really nice, but you can tell that it is really designed to only be open on the weekends. (For the weekend warriors)
Always something interesting there. Definitely worth a visit
Stopped in while we visited Nashville. Just thought we wonder around a little.. I ended up bringing a lot of fresh food back to the motel. Worth the stop.
Kinda small and the underwhelming in terms of local stuff. Interior retail and dining area is good. Liked the bubble tea place. Clean bathrooms
Amazing selection of seasonal produce. Stop and get a bite of lunch at one of several tasty restaurants on site. The nursey that is here full time has a wide variety of indoor and outdoor plants.
The pictures don't do this place justice. Walking in from the food section was a shock. The smells of Jamaican food, BBQ an fresh vanilla waffle comes filld the air amongst other delights. Be sure to check out B&C market bbq.... the brisket, baked beans an mac n cheese were all delicious. You can taste the love an effort that was put into each bite. The Market section was colorful with all the fresh fruit an vegetables, there's even some local meats like lamb, beef an I believe ostrich.
Very good market. Fresh food. Good prices
A very nice place to enjoy a variety of foods and other treats. Surrounded by bicentennial Park and the Tennessee State Museum. Check them out!
Very little of what is here is from anyone's garden. The vendors have wholesaler's providing them produce and then mark it up and sell it at a premium. Go to your local grocery, nothing worth the $$$ here
Great place....lots of good foods...lot to do...
Love it
It was off season, but we enjoyed the visit.
Fun for the whole family. Pizza, ice cream and flowers who could ask for anything more. This is truly a Nashville gem.
My older sister lives in Nashville and I love this city! It is vivacious without being overwhelming. You could easily remove country music (but why would you want to?) and there is still do much to do. The architecture downtown is an interesting mix of old style (Nashville Symphony) and the new (City Music Center). The West End, with its assortment of restaurants, coffee shops, art galleries also has Centennial Park with a life-size duplicate of the Parthenon (original in Athens, Greece). West End also backs up to Vanderbilt University. On one of my first trips to Nashville, I visited and walked all over the campus. It's beautiful for an urban campus. I hesitate to refer to Nashville as urban because it, like so many southern cities is spread out.
Other places to visit are the Hermitage, home of President Andrew Jackson. Nashville has beautiful parks, too. While I have not been to any of them, I understand the local breweries are fun, too. Gotta save something for next trip. The zoo is fun; they used to have a safari park outside of the city; sadly, that has closed down. Seeing animals in a less zoo-like setting is interesting and, I think the animals behave differently. They seem happier.
I love Nashville and have visited this fun, friendly city for over 45 years!
Nice venue. Good to see some local vendors being supported by the state
Had SUCH a nice time here, great vendors and so much selection. The plant nursery was amazing as well.
Great place to grab lunch or flowers or veggies.
The veggie Korma is great, the Best Jamacian food, coal fired pizza, BBQ,
We got there around noon and several of the vendors had already left for the day. The outdoor area has several farmers, artists, and crafters. The indoor area is more like the food court at the mall.
I spent two hours in this place and could easily spend much more time there. So many different types of fresh fruit and veggies to purchase as well as locally harvested honey, salad dressings, meat, soups, jams, apple butter, coffees, cold drinks. Don't skip the retailers in the back stalls with beautiful hand crafted jewelry and tribal print fabrics, and the shop inside with delicious Indian spiced teas and herbs. The gardens of Babylon is an attraction in itself with pottery and beautiful flowers as well as crystals and even a lemon tree that's been on my wish list for years.
Hungry but can't pinpoint what you're ine the mood for? Then the farmer's market food court is the place to go. You will find all sort of options like burritos, gyros, sushi, BBQ, gumbo, pizza, ice cream, bubble tea, etc. Check it out for yourself and then have a stroll through the flea market outdoors and the plant shop. Enjoy!
I love this place when you go check out The Elderberry Lady and all the other great vendors.
There are not as many vendors as there used to be, but the ones that are there are pretty good.
Always enjoy walking around to visit each vendor.
Love this place for a wide variety of food trucks as well as restaurants in the food court area. I saw both gluten and dairy free options as well. Great place for a group to go with different food preferences. Large tables inside and out. Some nice gift shops as well. Conveniently located right next to Bicentennial Park which is a beautiful place to explore on a pretty day!
I’ve enjoyed coming here from time to time. The Greek food place is my favorite. I’ve only been once when the vending area is totally full and there have been some very cute items being sold. I love going on the weekend for veggies and my boyfriend also loves going for the fresh meat.
It was nice I visited there for many years the environment has changed but still was unlikelet's deal with a nice experience.
Quite a few empty spaces. Maybe lower your vendor prices to get more vendors in? The vendors we talk to say they many times just hope to break even.
I highly recommend visiting here! Even during the cold months, there are some awesome little shops and vendors to visit. Especially during warm months, though, there is a huge variety of things to do here! It’s in a gorgeous part of Nashville with plenty of (free!) parking and is right by a pretty park with memorials. The people who work here are nice and it was such a fun experience, even alone. There’s also cute touristy stuff inside like the pretty red “I ❤️ Nash” sign — great photo op. The art shop here has great handmade souvenirs!
Not busy early on a Sunday. Fresh produce even this early in the season (May). Lots of parking. Small bathroom for the amount of people.
First visit. We liked the fact that there is an overall "comfortable" feel at the market. Produce was affordable and we came home with veggies and fresh shrimp. The food court was nice and clean. Very pleased and we will be regulars!
Cool place. A friend of mine works there. Interesting coffee ☕, beer, wine and food vendors and.....local tomatoes near the 4th of July!!!!!
Market = 2.5 stars. Actual farmers market stuff REALLY small. Like less than 5 small vendors small I think. Some t-shirts and soap and random stuff. And great restaurants inside = 4 stars.
Yes! This place is awesome the food is good and I love the international market. Plus I have never had an issue walking my service dog through without gawking, or uncomfortable questions. Its obvious the staff here either are trained or know the proper way to interact with someone tethered to a dog. Eat here everything is delicious. Try the ice cream its worth the calories.
They had the most AMAZING band! The sound could be heard all over the market, horns! Nice vendors, parking stinks but still worth the trip.
Lovely clean market with on site eating options
I love that the outdoor market has a long season with a heating pipe to keep the vendors warm outdoors. The rooftop protects them from the elements. And the foodcourt is a great. I would think of adding a restaurant or 2 that uses the ingredients from the farmers as a showcase. Hold a cooking demo or 2
A great place to people-watch and sample from diverse food offerings. Excellent coffee and bubble tea vendors. Of course, there are farmers too. Gardens of Babylon is worth a visit as well.
Good farmers market a smidge touristy. But, awesome pizza and a solid craft beer selection
Really great local produce at great prices. I love supporting local farms and businesses by shopping at the Farmers' Market. The only nitpick is that if we get there too early or too late on Sundays to avoid the crowds, a couple of sellers won't have arrived yet or leave pretty early. Posting what hours they plan to be there would be a big help!
It was crowded but hardly any vendors so it was a let down but still had fun and the kids still found some things and we got some new plants and we visited the general market where they had amazing Japanese Sweet potatoes, Tennessee Fire Hot sauce and some cool African clothing and even a cute kitty hat! A good time was had and we shopped LOCAL!!!
Great place to eat and shop. Food is great and produce is impressive 👌 …
Beautiful veggies, great food court. Lots of venders. The food court is air conditioned, there are also food trucks outside. We went on a Sunday and it wasn't too crowded at first but it did fill up after noon. They have beautiful flowers and plants and pottery.
First time visiting this place and WOW loved it. It's the perfect place to take a mesium sized group after touring the Capitol Building or the museum. We had a group of 30 and was able to keep an eye on all the students and still have a vast array of choices for everyone involved.
Only complaint is in the winter, seating is limited and can get kind of crowded. Also, just so you know, you can call ahead and reserve seating - you may want to do this because it stays pretty busy and finding a seat can be tough.
A gem! A must visit to get my bone broth, fresh veggies, tasty peaches in season, and delicious juice
Bustling farmers market that also includes a food court. Plenty clean and a huge variety of food outlets to choose from. There's this odd odor about the place too... And if you are thinking about parking there, be ready for a challenge. Beef is on for any of the few (relative to size) spots.
As for deals on items, that's a bit trickier. I know that it's IN Nashville and you are supporting local farmers, but priced just a bit too high.
Loved it! Wasn't expecting such a huge variety of cuisines in the food court!! The whole family (grandparents, mom, dad and the 4 year old) found something yummy and the adults enjoyed local beer and wine. Will definitely return every time I visit Nashville!!
This was great. First time I’ve ever been here and it was cozy and fun to walk around and look at everything they had. Will definitely go again.
Awesome place! Variety of foods, fun atmosphere. Beautiful park across the street. Been here twice and thoroughly enjoyed it.
If you go here you HAVE to get the barbecue that's located inside. It is the best pulled pork I've ever had. My husband and I will drive an hour with our infant to visit here.
We go here for the local vendors, especially the restaurants. The continual reason I fail to rate this 5 stars is because they still host vendors that are not truly local, nor are the artisans themselves. They allow people who order bulk things from wherever to come and sell there. That's not a true farmers market. Plus, I was a vendor there before and it's insanely expensive to get a booth there. That doesn't promote true local small business. And that's unfortunate. If they'd make it a REAL farmers market with LOCAL vendors and only local vendors, I'd give it 5 stars in a heart beat.
Places I recommend:
Music City Crepe Company and the ice cream place next to it
Loved it, not use to it.
Nashville tn made me feel some type of way, I didn't want to leave..
They slushy BlackBerry wine is a must and the chicken pitas at Music Crepes is phenominal!
Peach night was a kick. Great food, plenty of folks and enjoyable music
Great place to grab a bite to eat. The crepes was our favorite! There is something for everyone there to eat and good sized portions. The shopes were really nice too and the winery had some good wines! We will definitely go back!!!!!
Always a great way to get local produce, ethnic ingredients, and prepared foods. Saturday mornings and early afternoons can get a little hectic but that's part of the experience. There are several stable vendors along with new ones that pop in and out. Typically you can get tons of fresh produce, meats, crafts, snacks, soap, and even clothing. The food court inside is a great way to feed a bunch of folks who may all want different things as well as an opportunity to try something that's not mainstream American fare.
The only bad thing is that the market is now the pickup and dropoff point for the NashTrash bus tours which adds more congestion to an already crowded area.
This was a perfect place to get lunch with every food and snack option under the sun. We had amazing Japanese, Indian and BBQ meals that we all loved. This is a perfect place to go after seeing capital hill and the memorial. The only issue is it is only food in the winter. I can not speak for the summer but in the winter there are no crafty booths. But if you are going for lunch then this is the place to go with something for everyone
Had some great Craft beer. Great looking fresh food. Cool atmosphere for family or a good place to start a night out also. International Market inside was wonderful. From Homemade Ice cream to oxtails. Awesome!
Great place! People are friendly. Love the different booths and the fresh veggies.
I ran into this by accident and I'm so happy that I did. This was such an amazing find! There are so many ethnic restaurants in here that everybody will be able to find something that they would like to try. There is even a store here that offers everything from frozen meals to aisles upon aisles of pasta, rice, and candy. I can't wait to come back here and try out all the food.
I enjoy shopping at the Farmer's Market. The variety of products offered are what keeps me going back. I recommend that anyone who has the opportunity especially if you're looking for seasonal decorating items should go and enjoy a day of fun.
Good place to people watch, have an inexpensive meal (Indian, BBQ, Mexican, Greek, etc), a drink, ice cream, or even a gift. Georgia peaches! And farm fresh staples and goodies. And best garden center around.
I visited this farmer's market on the wrong day. Though it looks well setup for flea market and such. What is there all the time is corporate companies with extremely high prices. Zucchini over $2 a pound. Geo rocks for thousands or a small dyed rocks (most of us remember getting a little velvet bag and you pay under $10 for as much as you could stuff) just one of these rocks is $4.99. I HIGHLY DO NOT recommend going UNLESS an event or the actual local farms market is going on. It did have free parking (always a plus downtown) it however is not following current pandemic regulations and policies from what we could see on our 25-30 min visit. I would like to see how this is when the stalls are full...it really has a nice setup.
Great variety of the best and freshest fruits and vegetables in Nashville
Fun place with live music, good food options and fresh fruit & veg; steps away from the (free entry) TN State Museum as well, if you want to add even more culture.
Stopped in here while visiting - really cool place. I'm accustomed to very small farmers markets that are just open air. This place is great; you've got the more typical outdoor farmer market area and then a large indoor space as well with kind of a food court and place to hang out.
Love this place! The options are many and haven't had a bad experience yet.
Once again allowing the public out amongst one another, it was moderately crowded. It was also such a beautifully warm day having stations of misting would have been lovely. Seeing how everyone is working to re-coup the monies unmade in 2020, items were more expensive than in the past. Supporting small business is still important!
Great food choice, so much culture in the cuisine. It was hard to decide where to eat. My little one had asian and I had a vegan taco, which was amazing. I would like to visit again when not so hot for the outside goodies, which I can see are more normally. They have plants, produce crafts and food outside.
Saturday is the best day to go with all of the vendors. It is definitely crowded with tons of people. I wish they would add a little more diversity in their vendors. The majority on sale is tomatoes and corn, and I'd like to see more of an assortment of different fruit and vegetables choices. Overall great place to visit.
I love the variety of food vendors... Parking sucks.... But all in all going to the market always puts me in the mood of the season... It's also centrally located to popular city attractions like The Tennessee State Museum (which is free) Bicentennial Mall (also free), and the State Capital.... Just to name a few
I love coming here each week and getting my fruits and veggies!!!!
Plus the chocolate milk too!!!
We were here on a Friday morning, and not everything was set up. Still there was a great quantity of varieties of fruits and vegetables that are fresh and reasonably priced. There's also vendors that made pastries and were a variety of vendors that did not sell food of any kind such as plants, jewelry, etc. I highly recommend the farmers market in Nashville. I did not know they were open every day of the week! Unfortunately all the photos I took were on my regular camera, not with my phone, so I have none to share.
Love shopping g Nd eating I. The food court
Really great farmers market. Lots to see. Live entertainment, and all the good things that farmers markets entail.
This was a great Farmer's Market! I love that the different booths are outside with a garden center and an indoor portion full of different vendors. We kicked things off by exploring the garden center which was full of different plants, artisan crafts and pottery. We took a quick stroll through the main farmer's market stopping at a few booths to see the local produce, baked goods and pastured meats. We then proceeded to explore the indoor portion of the market. It was full of shops, restaurants and a tasting room. We took a seat at the bar and ordered one of their flights which was $10. The bartenders were so nice and really helped us with our selections. Although keep in mind that you have to keep your beverage inside their little perimeter so seating can be difficult. They also sell a couple different got dog dishes and a pimento grilled cheese. After we finished our drinks we took a stroll through the market to see what we could see. Everything has such a great vibe. They had everything, including an ice cream shop, soap shop, clothing store, backery, gyro stand and much more. This is very interesting place for it to just be April. I can't imagine how thrilling it will be when summer finally rolls around.
This place rocks!! In the area working and a few co-workers brought me to the Farmers Market, I will definitely be back. Not only are the veggies, flowers and pumpkins the best I've seen the restaurants are great. Try the crepes and Jenny's ice cream you won't be disappointed.
Great place! It was a great set up but a lot of places weren't serving food or closed for a break! The bubble love tea going was great! Short wait and delish tea and boba!
Loved wandering around the farmers market! Lots of fresh produce and meats. The garden shop is adorable and has so many kinds of plants. We enjoyed wine in the food hall, but there were lots of foods I’d like to go back and try.
Shops are not completely filled, but it is a very nice market. Most restaurants are open, with many vegetarian options. Crepes, Gyro, Mexican, Coffee, Asian...
Before ordering, ask if they provide drink refills. Some shops do, others don't, and this may influence where you want to eat. Then again, Nashville is filled with restaurants to explore.
No nuts being sold.
Very nice food court seating area. Tables cleaned after each patron leaves.
Nice
Interesting selection of vendors from organic chicken to handmade pottery. Smaller than it looks though.
Nice way to kill an hour in Nashville that doesn't involve a bar.
I love this place. It is spacious with lots of vendors, restaurants and shops.
It was average....been to better. Too many empty stalls and not enough of the local vendors. The food and coffee shops are great, and the ice cream place turns out unique flavors that we loved. But nothing much to see...best part is that it's located by Victory Park. Big dud.
No produce when I went, just a few restaurants open. Not bad. Just don’t hope for something in sweet like I was, not much to find.
Awesome farmers market, so many different choices of great vendors. There are also indoor areas and outdoor covered areas and several great restaurants
If you have a big family with an eclectic food choices - best to bring them here. I ordered Korean ramen, other family members ordered Jamaican, while some got Chinese food and Greek gyro.
Nice visit on a busy Saturday morning. Smiley's Farm has the most to offer in produce where we purchased some fresh silver king white sweet corn, fresh green beans, green tomatoes for frying and some bell peppers. Vendors with goat milk soap, pottery, plants, jewelry, clothing and other items were set up outside. Inside are eating places that looked and smelled good but we kept moving. Great place.
I was quite impressed with the vendors inside the market. I LOVED the fresh juice bar and the ice cream shop they had inside, in fact I would go back to the market JUST for them. They had some fruits and veggies as well as plants and some vendors selling clothes, etc. It was small, it didn't take us long to walk through it. When back in Nashville, I will be back for the juice!
