This place is a treasure! It is a small well stocked Eastern European market with imported grocery items. They also have a deli counter with meat and cheeses. Several freezers with prepared foods, vacuum packaged fish, caviar and frozen cakes. Boxes of chocolates with and without liquor in them. They even bake their own bread which is often times still warm.

They have fabulous borscht and salads that are made at the deli in house. If there are any treats like chocolates that you miss from Eastern countries they probably have them here. They also have everything to make your own traditional food from scratch (minus fresh produce), it’s pretty much a full grocery.

I adore all the different items they have. Their cheese and deli meat selection is fantastic. The pelmini they have is good and they have many varieties. It also the only place I can get Kvass. The sweets are quite good too.

Wonderful place to try some delicious foods such meats, all kinds of salami, cold cuts, sausages, wieners, head cheese, blood sausage. So much selection of European cheese. All to get in whole or have sliced as desired. Sweet selection is great from chocolate, pastry, cakes, ice creams or ice cream cakes, (try Kiev cake), poppy seed rolls, egg bread. Jams, jellies, great selection of honey🍯. Canned fruits from cherries, plums, soo on. Great European mineral waters, beer. Dairy section, great tasting butters, farmer cheese, kefir, sour cream. Also big selection of pirogi’s filled from veggies, meats, cheese and combinations of. Canned vegetables from pickles, peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes, etc. Good selection of caviar, smoked fish, dried fish. Condiments from Europe. Sooo on, probably still forgetting something.... worth checking it out!! I’ve been coming down here since it was open in early 2000’s Five stars definitely!!!!

I went for the first time today. Was hoping for more Polish options but I did get some goodies I'm excited to try. I went specifically to get some soup packets of bialy borscht but they did not have it.

One of my favorite small markets in Nashville. Great selection of cheeses and meats. Lots of different kinds of tea. Most notable for their selection of Russian foods that you'd be hard pressed to find anywhere else. Friendly staff too. A great place to shop.

It’s okay. They have more choice in the store and good food. The downside is that pelmeni and frozen dumplings are very expensive (for $ 9.99) than for $4 at Trader Joe’s

Some of the nicest people I've ever met in my life! My 2 sons came in to buy some candy because they like Russian food. A Russian gentleman who was working there noticed that they didn't have a lot of money so he bought them $30 worth of candy and food! This helped me to realize that there are truly good people left in the world.

The last time I was there I bought a bar of milk chocolate, a half pound of peppered salami and a liter bottle of German beer. It was all delicious. I also had a chance to speak with Oksana who tends the counter. This is a magic little spot hiding in plain sight.

It's a gem if you are familiar with Eastern European shops and can't find similar same goods here in Nashville. Solid deli selection, lots of traditional comfort snacks, and salo. Į didn't need it but will see if they have smokey cheese next time.

I love the little European markets like this one. They have a huge variety of all kinds of goods. They have a frozen section, deli meats and cheeses, beer, kvas, tea, chocolate, European sodas, spices, canned food, jarred food, and much more. And if you are trying to dive in to learning Russian, they have quite a few books available.

A little gem in Nashville. Despite being small, it's crammed with prepackaged snacks, sweets, seasoning, teas, patés, canned goods, fish, a variety of sausages and smoked meats, a wide selection of deli meats and cheeses from Eastern Europe. There's fresh baked breads as well. We always find something new every time. The owners are very polite, friendly, and helpful.

Great place to buy Eastern European food. They have big selection of products from Russia, Ukraine and Poland. Fantastic authentic stuff. Big meat and cheese selection. They carry a lot of sweets and chocolate, tea, cake and some frozen goods.

I am Polish and miss being able to buy the food that I love. Since I found this market I finally have more access to buying and cooking the meals that I love. Around March they sell pączki which made me incredibly excited, they weren't exactly like the ones that I've had back in Chicago from Polish delis but they were pretty close. They also sell over 10 flavors and about 2-3 brands of pierogi. They also sell hot food here if you ever don't feel like cooking definitely stop by here to try some. I'm so thankful to have a store like this in Nashville!

I love Aleksey for all of my European craving needs! The staff is no-nonsense but pleasant and the prices are reasonable. The meats and fresh bread are the stars, but it's always clean and playing good music, and there are lots of candies to choose from!

Nice little store. Friendly service but limited availability of certain items which for a store of that size makes sense. For anyone who is gets nervous in small spaces, especially with pandemic guidelines, be aware that they don't monitor how many people walk in. And most of the patrons plus staff don't cover their noses with masks so if you are conservative about COVID guidelines inquire if you can do curbside if you know what you want to buy. Updated review: I got COVID after standing in line here for 15 minutes. I had no other exposures other than this store since we isolated for 10 months. I really liked this store (AMAZING fresh bread) but it is much too small and they don't (didn't) mange how many people were in the store at one time,, and didnt enforce proper COVID safety guidelines. But if I could shop here online and pick up outside I'd do it again. Will return after the pandemic is under better control.

I've known this market was here but hadn't ever made if in. Today I stopped in to see if they had any paczki, and while there I found all kinds of treats to make me feel at home. I'll have to get back to everyone on the fresh kielbasa and pierogis, but this paczki is one of the best I've ever had! Amazing texture and flavors all the way; they didn't over fill them like some stores tend to do, so it was just another amazing flavor to add to the profile. Can't wait to go back!

This store is a good place to aquire Russian & European treats. The meat and cheese selection is great- I'm a fan of the Finnish Havarti and Lappi cheeses. It is also the only place I know of in Nashville where you can buy Квас. The staff here is friendly, and can help you find things if the packaging is not in English. Спасибо!
