Whole Foods NEVER fail, I feel like it’s a very true statement. I don’t have one local to me…..so sad. But love you visit them when near by. This one is wonderful. I wish my son would have been with, the Macaroon case of cookies would have thrilled him. Great selection, superior quality foods- you’re not afraid to feed your family. Many organic options, which for fresh fruits/veg to me is only option. I had assistance in the bakery for items from the case, worker was helpful. It was Halloween and he was talking to a family, little boy was dressed up. He asked the worker “where is your costume?”, Whole Foods member smiled a half smile and said we can’t wear costumes. The cute little boy said…”That’s what’s wrong with the messed up adult world”. It made me initially laugh…..but he is right. Why the heck can’t the workers wear a costume and have a little fun? We had eaten at a restaurant tonight earlier, everyone was dressed but one person. Seriously sad Whole Foods won’t let there staff dress up. Don’t forget how to have fun, especially for your employees and guests.

This location has everything you need. I was shocked by the space every area has, like the seafood section. I found different options of common items. Clothes and supplements are another surprise to me. You can deep dive in both areas. This location has history of how the store came to be. I'll be returning.

Nice grocery market. Our 1st time come here it’s big market and also have food ready to eat. So can get the food and seat at seating area. Have restrooms too. It’s nice and clean.

Excellent consistent salad bar at two of their locations I've been to in the metro. Store is stocked really well with lots of healthy novelty items to try out. I live right next door to a smaller co-op (Mississippi Market), so yes the price is expensive, but the quality and flavor is far superior to conventional Franken foods.

I LOVE Whole Foods!! They have everything you could think of, and LOTS of options for restrictive diets (very vegan friendly). Staff members are very accommodating - I had to run back to an isle and grab something, and my checkout person had all my things ring up for me and bagged! Also, great selections of ready to go food, plus a full bakery and coffee shop! I could spend all day in this store. Not kidding. No shame 🤩

Such a welcoming atmosphere with helpful shopping assistants. The food products available are consistently fresh & very affordable. One colorful aspect is the massive mural on the side wall when entering the front door. Highly recommended for great food & an exceptional atmosphere!

A really nice location with friendly staff. There's an attendant who greets you at the door. Underground parking is free for customers and there is both an escalator and elevator for convenience.

The best deal in America on beautiful little shopping carts that easily hold 80 or $90 worth of groceries. They're only $20, and completely weatherproof. Weatherproof 😁👍

I desperately wanted to buy sunflowers here but food is more important for then. I got this shawarma sauce marinade (365 brand) in the international section and it was soooo good. Definitely a good place to grab some out of the ordinary type of food items. And their flower shop isn’t too shabby either! I just couldn’t do a full week’s grocery cause of my commuting needs. This Whole Foods is a good stop, you may just have to take your time going through it because of all the options.

There are two Whole Foods cuisine items that I would enjoy all the time were they available - Summer Gazpacho, which as the name implies is not offered Spring, Fall and Winter and Roasted Corn Salsa, which seems to have disappeared for the last year or so, although I keep checking.

Always a great experience, and always easy to get in and out (even with some unexpected items in your cart...). Big surprise here for first time shoppers, is the amazing flower selection and the price that goes with it. I try to bring flowers to the Ms. weekly and this is where I keep within my budget. Since my last post regarding Whole Foods Market I've noticed some improvement. It still has to do some changes, mostly regarding the salad bar. It lacks the inventivity, it has a poor selection of the menu ( lots of broiled vegetables and less meats).

I love the broad selection of organic items. Staff are always friendly and helpful when I ask for help. It is more expensive than some other grocery stores, but I’ve learned that you can pick their house brand and still go organic to keep the cost down. The big selling point for us is that they put so much energy into ensuring the quality of the food supply chain, that it gives me good confidence in what I’m buying.

We shop at this location often, and for the most part, we are happy with them. It is great to see that they are almost back to the Pre-COVID service. A good variety of cheeses and meats and the.produce is as good as you can get in Minnessota in wintertime. The staff is always courteous and helpful. 12/5/22, as much as they are still one of the better supermarkets around, and understanding that is winter time in Minnesota, I still.think they can do a better job with their produce selection and quality

This is a convenient, close, and quality store for the downtown and north loop areas. I’m giving this a 5 star review because the door men here are unbelievably nice and make my day every time I come in. The store is always clean and has good produce but you are paying a premium.

Overall it was a good experience picking up the food I needed for the lunch meeting. The only downside was that the cashier didn't know how to get the Google Pay to work on her register or with the tap and pay as I had a Google Pay QR code to use that was like a gift card electronically.

I enjoy this Whole Foods for grabbing little things. The place is too expensive for me to be buying all of my groceries. I really like their bakery and I have tried a few things all have been good. It is kept very clean and tidy inside. I really like that there is free parking below so that I do not have to mess with street parking. There is also a bathroom inside you get the code with purchase. Overall it is an enjoyable place to shop.

The guy who worked at the pizza section on Sunday night was severely rude. He didn’t acknowledge us and when we asked for help he replied what do you want. Like obviously I want to order pizza you’re working at the pizza section . Asked to make veggie he didn’t make it only cheese and pepperoni . Tried to go back and check and we were ignored by him. The women who was working self checkout was nice.

Great selection, great staff....plenty of variety in produce and frozen foods, but also great deals on really well-chosen nice kitchen tools. It was a big shop for a dear friend's dinner party, and I was glad to find everything I needed.... plus a few things I hadn't known I needed before, like a housewarming present of an olivewood cooking spoon !

I live a few blocks from this whole foods. Handy underground parking. Carts have their own escalator. Prices not bad since Amazon take over. They have great ice cream cones/bowls. I love the bakery. Especially the sourdough. Fancy coldcuts and cheese!

I wouldn't do my everyday grocery shopping here but they do have those hard to find items. But they do have good deals on fruits and vegies and keep them fresh. Couldn't find a bad pick. They have extremely helpful staff and almost all customers are courteous to each other. Its like shopping with neighbors you actually enjoy.

First trip to whole foods in downtown minneapolis. I was concerned about parking but they have a nice ramp right underneath the building that allows you to hours of free parking while you shop. Nice clean store and in an easy location when coming from outside of downtown - from the west side at least. Nice people, nice place.

It is a mistake to think that Whole Foods is where you spend your "whole paycheck.". In the long run, they compete well with typical supermarkets; especially if you factor in things like elevated quality, extremely high customer service, and freshness/goodness of products sold. There have even been many instances when I discovered items cost less than places like Cub and Walmart.

Conveniently located in the north loop. Clean, wide variety of special grocery and produce items as well as supplements, soap, some clothes, natural makeup brands, and assorted healthy living items. Comfortable interior with a fairly intuitive layout. Love this place. Also has seating for eating from the deli and stuff.

What can I say I love Whole Foods I love all their choices and the buffet especially their vegan selection. However sometimes it's difficult to get friendly service at the checkout. The management seems extremely friendly as well as a deli. I'm wondering if they give the check out cashier's enough breaks or time to move around?

This is the only whole foods I have access too, so I don't have much to compare with. First off, it is definitely expensive and they often don't have a consistent stock of vegan cheeses. It's hard to guarantee I will find what I need here. However they have a beautiful produce display, and their deli and bakery is always very appealing. Also, all of the employees are very friendly and helpful whenever I need help. I just cannot bring myself to shop for everything here just based off the prices, so I only get the items I can't find anywhere else.

Ever since the merger with Amazon, the quality of avocados is absolutely horrible. That was one of the products that Amazon proudly presented. Generally, it is still a very good store with good quality products, but above average prices. However, I am really worried that Amazon will ruin it with effective management. Also, wholefoods has amazingly bad jerky. You cannot come up with a worse taste if you try. The meat either sweet or bitter or both. Stay away from them. They are not worth it, especially for the price. Same with protein bars. Some of them were so horrid that they legit made me sick. Others are impossible to bite since they have a consistency of hardened caramel. I almost broke my teeth, and then spend all day picking stuck pieces out of my mouth. In the end, I buy snacks in convenient stores across the street, not in whole foods. But high quality ingredients this store is great. They have everything, even rare stuff, and I never had problems with quality (until Amazon avocados).

stopped by there one evening and their freshly baked breads and muffins looked quite tempting. The local cheese selection was excellent. The price was 7.99 a pound which seems comparable to most grocery store self-serve deli items. The food was tasty and fresh and I was able to get exactly what I wanted. There was even a section to sit and eat.

I liked this Whole Foods a lot, I went specifically for Cotton Candy grapes & Candy heart grapes. Which are so divine!!! I highly recommend them. They have great skin care items and awesome lotions and potions. After shopping there however, I did need to go to Target after and get the rest of my items on my list.

The produce here has been starkly improved since Amazon's initiative to bring more people in. There are always deals that give you a decent bang for your buck, especially on berries! The location is so convenient for anyone that lives downtown that I shop here on a weekly basis. Selection does seem to be the only downside as they mainly carry their local store brands, but it isn't a huge deal. Make sure to link your Amazon account to whole foods to save even more!

Four stars because they have the cheapest frozen fruit, they also have under ground parking (great for winter) with a validation after purchase. Just don't lose your ticket or it will be $24 for a lost ticket fee. Another thing I don't care for is the produce is right by the frozen fish and isn't the best smelling. I do like that they have awesome gelato for the hot summer days. This location also has a liquor department. The location is also nice being that it's close to downtown, and it isn't right in the heart of downtown.

They offer free validation for parking for the first 2 hours you’re there. I also really like that they offer fresh pan loaf bread. I’ve noticed they don’t offer this at all the other locations. I’d give it 5 stars if they had fresh sushi like they offer in maple grove, and also people drive like idiots in the parking ramp. No fault of WF, but nonetheless I can’t give it 5 stars.

I hope management sees this and recognizes her for being an exceptional employee! This is Whole Food's "flagship" store in MN and it shows in the general design and layout of the store. It's more spacious than any of the Minneapolis locations and I feel it's easier to shop. However, with that said, it is also extremely busy on Sundays and the addition of anywhere between 10 and 30 Amazon Shoppers also in the store, at times it can be overwhelming.

A good Whole Foods. Things are usually stocked. Some employees are a bit rude (e.g., I was looking at canned tuna and 2 workers came up and started having a conversation in front of where I was browsing, I had to come back to the aisle later). Also, the food delivery folks are always running around, so it's pretty distracting and busy at all hours. Lots of parking in the lot!

Fantastic location right in downtown east. Free underground parking make being in the city easy and hassle free. I have never not had a spot downstairs in this heated underground ramp. (due to the nice insulation the underground ramp has a sound deadening effect and accordingly is very quiet. Odd but very nice. )Liquor store add on to whole foods is very convenient.

This location is pretty good. It would be nice if it was located a little bit closer to the center of the city where people could easily walk to it (in the skyways) during their lunch break or after work. That said, they do have a parking ramp and it is easy to access and is free. I have always found all the items I was looking for and often find new products that I enjoy. They are offering the Instacart service at this location now. I have not tried it yet, but it looks like customers can pick up their groceries right from the parking lot.

Products are good but I find it very costly. Let's say the products which are not organic. The same product sells in Target for $1.99 sells here for $3.99 . Reason Target gives a discount while this place does not. As for fruits and vegetables I find the quality to be good so no complains on that .

Great place for fresh fruits and vegetables. I don't care what the news says, they'll always have fresher stuff then Cub foods. You may find something every now and then that might be rotten, just don't buy or do a better job of EXAMINING the food you buy. The staff is always nice and helpful. This place makes some of the BEST sandwiches. Sandwich Thursdays for the win! For those that don't know, they have deals on sandwiches on Thursdays.

Great prices!!! I like prices cheap but they have been replacing brands i like with 365 product s and the produce although cheaper has sometimes been sub par to local co-ops or even costco in taste and quality. They have less local products on their shelves than in the paste;(

Who doesn’t love Whole Foods! Though you need extra dollars to shop here, the food is high quality. I especially like the bakery with so many well made fancy treats that aren’t just a bunch of sugar and dough! They are pastries made with care. The hot foods are nutritious and not full of greasy additives and nitrites-just fresh and wholesomely cooked keeping salt at a minimum. I highly recommend the sweet smoked salmon at the fish counter! It was just marvelous! You definitely get what you pay for!

The guys behind the meat counter/butcher shop are the best butchers I've ever found in any supermarket, anywhere! Full of helpful tips, different cuts of meats to consider, etc. The produce is uniformly good to great quality...But tend to run out of essential holiday things like parsley and mint on a disturbingly regular basis. Checkout staff is very friendly but not always sufficient for the after work crowd on weeknights resulting in long lines....And they never seem to staff the express aisles!

This is my favorite downtown place to grab a quick bite for breakfast or lunch. They have parking underneath and are good about having more express checkout lanes open for the lunch crowd. I can get there and back and still have time to eat! Plus, they stock my favorite cheese (not available at other Whole Foods in the area).

Great location and plenty of everything that you'd ever want to buy food wise. Great bulk section and great deli section. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options. Lots of gluten-free options also. Any strange diet you're on, they can pretty much accommodate you.

Same great products as every other Whole Foods. If you aren't looking for organic produce, you should probably stop complaining about the prices and shop elsewhere. The organic prices are usually cheaper here though. The layout is a bit better in my opinion, with aisles running along the shorter side of the store. Basically, there are more aisles, but they are shorter and less overwhelming when you are actually standing in the aisle. The free underground parking is a bit cramped, but not bad compared to some other downtown parking structures.

WF is a life saver for lunch runs, emergency snacks, and other things. I really enjoy their pizza and pretty good cheese selection. However, their staff are a little freaky and sometimes the place is excessively dirty. But mostly awesome.

Excellent whole foods market. Big selection well-stocked and very clean. And like all whole foods that I've been to people were very friendly. They have a liquor store connects right to them, literally right inside. The only drawback and it's a big one is the parking. You have to park on the street and downtown. Other than that is a great store and I will go there again.

I LOVE WHOLE FOODS! On fridays they have buy 2 pizza slices for $5 and their pizza is so yummy and big! They also have other warm ready to eat foods along with a frozen food section and other items you cant find anywhere else. They have a great Artisan cheese selection and a also fresh produce.

I travel with a big shopping hand cart, as I take the bus and the train. Whole Foods Market no longer has a dining area with chairs and tables to sit on. After I paid for everything, the manager provided me with a chair and allowed me to sit in the check out area to load up my cart, which took a considerable amount of time. I appreciate Whole Foods Market for accommodating me, as I do have a disability and really need to sit down to do the packing of my cart. The seafood display case is so beautiful I have taken its portrait. The employees are awesome, really take ownership and deliver excellent customer service. The produce is fresh and gorgeous. The hot case is fabulous and don't miss the salmon salad in the deli case. Plus, how can you beat free ramp parking in downtown Minneapolis?

Their ice cream and scherbets are awesome. Look for a weekly discount on it (i think it might still be Wednesdays)

It's way too cramped in here lately... It makes me super anxious to shop, because everyone is always in each others way. And I've never had an unpleasant experience with customer service here, but my fiancee feels super alienated by staff and on many occasions they have treated her coldly. I can't figure why, she's just as pleasant as I am. It does bother me though and I hope it doesn't happen anymore!

This location is huge, and they have free heated underground parking, entrance on the North side. I like that some of the prices are cheaper than the big chain groceries. The bakery is super fancy, with lots of decked out items. What I do not like is how heavily meat centered the hot bar/to go items are. I came there from Lunds NE because they too have meat everything in the hot bar. Surprisingly, this place does too, less so, but still. I love the smoked mozzarella pasta salad and the empanadas.

I don't shop here aften, and when I do, I am selective about my perchases. However, there is always good customer service from this place. I have yet to encounter a rude employee, and one who isn't willing to help answer my questions. Price, as always is at a premium here; I am sure they have their reasons. But, I hope that some of that money is used to offer their employees a better compensation package than the average retailer, and the average grocery store.

This place is convenient for the eastside downtown Minneapolis dweller. Easy to walk to and also features underground parking. The selection of food is great and they have a diverse assortment, including ingredients you see on cooking shows but can't get elsewhere. Don't expect to find all the typical brands you see at the big grocery chains though.

We had a poor experience with our online order in which we ended up waiting WAY too long due to a system error, subsequently a confusion with the names of the order. We waited an hour for our online pick up order, which was extremely frustrating because we could have done our own shopping at that point. Grass fed beef and free range chicken and eggs (IMO) just taste better. I usually find great specials in their produce department whether it's organic or conventional. When I go to co-ops for organic produce if you don't dress hipster or hippie sometimes you get dirty looks and/or lackluster service. Not the case here whatsoever. Very friendly; when you ask where something is the staff typically walks you over to it. My only complaint is that one time I left the grocery area to buy wine in the liquor area and the Middle Aged blonde with glasses female police officer followed me in there (I was 2 min, because I went directly to the Tempranillo) and left as soon as I paid so it was pseudo-offensive and I complained to the liquor shop clerk and he agreed it was rude. But that's that cop, not Whole Foods. So other than that gripe, and the hot food bar is overpriced : I love this place!

Underground parking is heated, which in one sense, it's really nice to go grocery shopping and not have to worry about your car getting cold, but on the other hand your car fogs up completely when you enter the garage. With Whole Foods in general, they do things differently; I'm not saying it's bad, but you won't get your Rice Krispies here or if you like some Pace salsa. For some, they don't care about that, but others they do. Keep that in mind.

Highlight of this location (and star rating) is their meat dept and their willingness to butcher things however you need. For very specific cuts you may need to call ahead or purchase a whole piece of something (i.e. lamb loin) but they're very accommodating. Produce has been hit and miss on regular items the last year as far as availability and quality. Several times the convention option is not available and an organic alternative is nearing end of life. Won't get cheese here anymore. Over the last year many of them seem to be at/beyond optimal date. Last I bought a big piece of parm, it started growing some green film, but not just limited to the outer area.
