I moved to the neighborhood awhile ago and the Third Ave Food Supermarket is the spot to go. Whether it's OJ for breakfast or frozen pizza w/ Hot Cheetos to satisfy the munchies, is why my experience I give two thumbs up: convenience! The staff are great and so chill. They accept EBT!

only giving four stars because the prices of some items can be quite steep, but i find that when i use my SNAP card i can usually get items for a tad cheaper that way. i continue to patron this store though because honestly, the people are very nice and there's a solid selection of products.

The most reliable, convenient corner store! The owner has helped us out so many times when we haven't had enough change to cover things, we absolutely love this spot. Very friendly, wide selection of goods, and wonderful prices! Super close to the Steven's Square area, perfect for a quick trip to grab snacks or smokes. Can't recommend this spot enough!!!

I used to live in this neighborhood... the staff always made me feel like family. Every time I was on a walk at night with the dog one of the staff would make sure I got home okay while sweeping the front area and waving once I got to the front door. While I don't miss the neighborhood at night or my awful apartment, I miss this corner store and the residents in the neighborhood a lot.

Great neighborhood store! Locally owned and conveniently placed. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and they have a wide selection of food/items. Great selection of tobacco products for smokers. I am a regular patron, and have never had a bad experience.

This place has improved dramatically under the new ownership. Store has been redone to make better use of the space they have, and it has allowed for a wider selection of merchandise. The staff is alright to get along with, not sure if it is the same people as before but I feel like it's been friendlier more recently.

Has a good supply of "corner store" goodies. Especially since they updated the store. Since then they seem to have more pride in the store and have been keeping it cleaner and such. Prices are a little high and they don't except EBT, which sucks but in a pinch they are definitely handy and good to have nearby.

Pretty good place with nice owners and a good environment although small it's local which they also employ a small amount of staff it has friendly workers and is family run their price for food is at a revertarily low price growing up I always bought the one dollar foot long ices it is a good place to go in a rush because it's a speedy costomer service it helps that They are open even in bad wether it has sort of a drug store feel to it

Was staying DT and was one of two groceries still open until 11pm on Christmas, but the other place was further. The .5 mile walk was worth the time and chilliness outside. Definitely recommend. Family business.
