Just wow. I am impressed at this place! They have so much to offer in regards to food stuff and cooking/ eating as well as decorative items and more. I love the variety of produce, and the price is amazing. Even having items that aren't native to the state like purple sweet potatoes or sugar cane stalks. Hell even full Durian fruits can be purchased. Lots to buy and lots to enjoy. I'll be sure to make this a regular stop for groceries going forward.

I love this store! We make all kinds of international dishes at home because of dietary restrictions and you can get whatever you need at this store. Huge selection of Asian, Middle Eastern, African foods and sundries at good prices. The place is clean and well stocked! I drive over an hour to shop here!

Amazing place to get ethnic food. They have food from most African country like pounded cassava from Cameroon, palm oil from Nigeria or Ghana and many more. You can buy fish, spices, plantains and Everything is affordable. Gave a 4 stars because sometimes the store is not very clean

Sun food has improved by keeping the store clean and they have variety of things. Nice! BUT they will have to stop selling rotten FISH and ROTTEN MEAT. Several occasions i have returned frozen fish, but when defrost I realised that it was rotten. For the meat i have stopped buying beef shrot cut rib. Most times they are spoilt and now the cow skin. We have been vomiting and having running stomach and stomachache whenever we eat the soupi made with it. This is the second time now. They should try as much as they can to keep rotten fish and meat away from the shelves. Sometimes we don't even return them back we throw it away and forfeit the money, but please do as much as you can to keep those away

Love the fresh fish and meats, reasonably priced, has all you need, from fresh seafoods, to jewelry and gifts, plants and spices from around the world. It's a field trip in itself, one of my favorite places to shop. So many different types of fruits, and vegetables and different sized fresh shrimp, squid, octopus and More! Weekends are special, fresh fish and clams, snail, squid, octopus, are displayed on ice for a staff member to help you choose what you want! Utmost Freshness! Love this store! !♡♡♡♡♡Also has many types of rice, and flours, so many items, You just Need to come and See for Yourself!

Sun has an array of Exotic foods available for the local population. I was told they have blue crab which is one of my go to seafood selections. Certain seafood is scare and most have to ship it in. Some of the food looked outdated so I stayed far from. Price of the seafood was very fair.

Great selection of fresh fruits and veggies. They have a good selection of frozen foods like Kimbo brand dumplings, sticky rice dumplings. Etc. Sometimes they are sold out of it though. The frozen section could be more organized.

The variety is huge! Groceries and essentials used to be cheaper a couple years back, I still shop here from time and time but it’s been awhile since I’ve been in the area and the parking lot is still bad.

I’m giving this place a 4 star though it’s between a 3-4. Prices are good for some things and a huge selection of Asian food items. The place doesn’t have good ventilation because it kind of smells when you walk in. I like the vegetable selections, but it’s not always consistent like most Asian grocers. The meat can be good some days and some days they look terrible. This isn’t my place to shop and though I’ve gone more than a handful of times I do like that they have what you need for the most part rather than running around to different store. I still have even going there, but you will get most of what you need there. They also have merchandise for cooking and household items. Check it out and I hope you’ll find the ingredients you’ll need for your Asian inspired meals. I highly recommend you wear a mask so you won’t have to smell the seafood section.

Amazing store for Asians and other ethnic foods. We are able to get most of the things/produce we would get at home. My mom loves this place and we often end up buying and spending more than we plan. You should walk down and check out every single aisle so as to not miss any household items.

It is a great market with lots of traditional foods from Asia and other parts of the world. Aisles are wide enough that my husband's wheelchair can move easily. The reason why only 3 stars is as a shopper there MAKE SURE TO LOOK AT EXPIRY DATE OF THINGS and lots of the shelves do not have prices marked properly for the items. That being said we will be back

I actually went to the Farmer's Market today. The selection wasn't as good as past years due to the drought. Plenty of greens, zucchini, egg plants, etc. I got onions, baby red potatoes, corn 🌽, yellow bell peppers and tomatoes. Prices are very good. It's feels good to support local farmers, especially since it's been a very tough year!!!

This is an Asian style supermarket with a wide variety of options available. Including durian, yams, and a wide array of fresh veggies / herbs. I mainly go because of the extensive selection of asian sauces / cooking parts. Fish sauce, oyster sauce, duck sauce, soy sauce both chinese and Japanese, and many other items I don't know how to use. Don't forget the Indian , Hispanic, and Jamaican isles!

If you need authentic ethnic ingredients this is the place to go. Be forewarned, it stinks, bad. Not sure how it passes inspection with all the open air meat. I was making Hiroshima style okonomiyaki and needed the sauces (Sun Foods carried the Otafuku brand) as well as bonito flakes, I found everything I needed here. Yes, you can go to Whole Foods and get bonito flakes for more than quadruple (not quite quintuple) the price. 5.98cents per gram compared to 24.633cents per gram

Overwhelming variety, which is great! Great prices on most items, especially dry goods. Good variety and prices on produce. Inconsistent quality on fresh and frozen meat and seafood. Poor rotation of stock. Beware of frozen items. Poorly marked prices on many items. Store smells. Great for the adventurous or bargain hunter. Not for the faint of heart.

Great place to get obscure ethnic foods. Fish and meat market but i dont know from where. Little pricey but its all imported. I highly recommend going in and trying out all the sweets, snacks and drinks. Kind of fun actually.

This is a oriental supermarket with foods native to Asian countries,India, and Africa. They do have some American items but most are nearing expiration due to low turnover. The smell can be overwhelming as they have a fresh fish section and as well as produce and a host of spices. Overall it's pretty fun to browse if your feeling adventurous.

Staffs need to price check their products daily and stage their products in the correct slot of the price. I hate to engage who is right or wrong conversation. Customers are always right. I bought 100 pound of rice. Price was 42.99. Staff said it is 62.99. I walked with the staff to pin point the price. Staff said it is an old tag and old price. Staff said they will not honor the price regardless of the situation. Very sad and poor customer service skill. 3 stars only, lose 2 stars due to pricing and customer service skill.

The store is quite large with several types of ethnic products available. However, they used to have a Japanese and Korean section, and now they've been absorbed into the rest of the store. It takes me a long time to find anything. Employees weren't very knowledgeable when I've asked for help. Now I go to Seoul foods, or United noodles if I'm looking for Japanese products. Most of the produce isn't bad, but some is. I check carefully.

That sound when Heaven's gates open in a cartoon or other show, that's what I hear when I grace the doors of Sun Foods. A consummate foodie, with a strong lean toward Asian cuisine, this sound may not manifest for everybody quite the same, but if you have any sense of culinary adventure (or interest in shoes, jewelry or dishware), stop in and check it out!! Pro tip: the butchers will happily cut your short ribs to the perfect thickness. Kalbi on the grill yummy yummy!!

Super fun place to go. I love to explore the aisles there is just too much fun here. Each aisle is a different culture of food hassle. I regularly come here to get fruits that you just can't find other places such as guava, dragon fruit, cactus, persimmon etc. I would just caution you To watch them carefully when they ring you up. The last time I went in I had a cart full of stuff and was charged 40$ extra on accident by the cashier. Have someone bag and someone else watch the cashier.

Talk about "out of my comfort zone"... Good cheap produce. If you're ready to start cooking real Asian or African food, start here. It's a rather large grocery store, so if you're in need of something specific for this cuisine, they likely have it. Even though I couldn't find hoisin sauce here the other day. Oh well. You better know what you're looking for or be prepared to spend some time here.

Sun Food started out selling just Asian related products. Lately, with the influx of new immigrants and a huge new diverse customer. Sun Food has become almost a full international market. You can find Camel meat, balut, west/east African products, South American tropical fish, live Garfish, and even jewelry/saloon department. Very diverse and a lot of surprise finding new products. I recommend this store.

Large selection of asian/american/Latin foods. Some looks very fresh - some is NOT FRESH AT ALL.....many live tanks of lobster, crab, surf clam. Some fish looks way past fresh with very cloudy eyes. Store can be good if you know what you are looking for - if you are not an expert. Steer clear.

Their prices and variety of prodcue will also suprise you. There is a strange odor within the market that i am not sure where it comes from.. but it might be in their drains.. but if you deal with the odor, there are intresting ingredients and foods to find.

Formerly a regional-chain grocery store now converted to a store focusing on selling East Asian groceries but also attracts a large customer base of African immigrants and, to a much lesser degree, some South Asian immigrants. As a former regional chain grocery store the building itself is exceptionally large for a grocery store focusing on East Asian foods. Because of this there is a very large variety and diversity of foods, especially "fresh" meats and seafood. Plus, this store is competitive for pricing. The major drawbacks are the terrible stocking of the shelves in the frozen foods section, specifically eggroll wrappers. The individual boxes for one brand of eggroll wrapper, Simex Lumpia wrapper from the Phillipines, was so haphazardly arranged that the individual packages themselves looked like someone had already opened them and the entire section looked as if a tornado had gone through that area. Also, in the fresh produce section, which is extensive, I purchased Jicama on at least two separate occasions spending at least $10 each time, and upon bringing them home and cutting into them discovered they were all rotten and spoiled with splotches of brown throughout the root vegetable, which should be white like newly-fallen snow. Lastly, almost without exception, there is almost always a long wait, of about 10 to 15 minutes, to check out at the cahsier.
