Great selection, quality, and service. Sad to see friendly cashiers replaced by self checkout, however it seems to go faster. Higher priced than the big box stores, but carries a wide variety and much friendlier staff.

Our local grocer and we're very happy with them. Their meat department rivals larger competitors. Excellent deli items and selections, too. I've never come out of this store frustrated or irritated by the experience. It's never been a horrible chore to shop there. It's easy to get around, the store is well lit and the isles are neatly organized.

Chicken from the deli is amazing, hot corn dogs and egg rolls are good too in a pinch but their deli coleslaw I did not care for. Fresh bakery finger rolls, 1920s style sandwich white bread and apple fritters are my repeat buys here besides the hot deli stuff.

I love this little store. The staff is chill (gets on some people's nerves but I like that). They have a good selection and a great meat and deli counter. You can do all your grocery shopping here no problem though I mostly just do small weekly runs.

My first time ever experiencing this place. ABSOlutely loved it! The staff was amazingly friendly, place was clean, things were in order, everything was just bright enough to see but not so bright that it blinds you like at some stores. I highly recommend this place. I will always be stopping here when I'm in the area.

This neighborhood store is impressive! If you're looking for it, chances are they've got it. The only places it falls a wee bit shy is bakery and prepared grab-n-go foods. Let's get real, no one NEEDS fancy pastries and gluey fettuccini alfredo anyhow! I've always walked away with every peculiar item I've needed for whatever recipe I'm making. They recently added self checkout lines. They are super easy to use and quite fast. I was concerned due to my experience with other self checkout lines when I purchased a few items that had no barcodes. Finding my items was painlessly easy! So very glad this is my neighborhood grocery store. Keep this place alive - shop here today!!

Best staff I have experienced anywhere. They get my never before 5 star review. They have kept up with the trends and popular items and never rested on their already excellent basics. They know their stuff and treat their employees well it seems. No unhappy employees so it from my observations. I like the young people they give employment to. It’s nice to hear them greet their neighbors and hear them banter with the other young employees. A special shout out to the older guy always in the aisle stocking with a funny joke or self deprecating comment. Maybe he’s Dave? He’s the best. At check out I have forgotten my wallet more than once and they helped me solved the problem easily and quickly. A special shout out to the awesome deli love the edamame salad and of course the meat dept. While they get surrounded by the big boxes in every direction they keep up with out blinking. That’s why they get 5 stars. I will always be a loyal costumer and you would be wise to shop there too.

Great neighborhood grocery store. They have a decent selection and friendly staff. Deli counter should not be overlooked for lunch options, daily specials at least during the week. A bit more expensive than a big store but the neighborhood convenience is what you are paying for. Great off you liver in the Nokomis East area.

Great little market with a fresh deli and a great meat shop if your looking for a cut of steak, fish and many other things. Decent prices and lots of healthy choices in every section. All the staff are really friend and with the addition of the staff bagging your groceries it really adds a nice touch to this gem of a grocery market.

I come here pretty regularly for small grocery runs since I live quite close. They have a solid selection of products that you would expect from any grocery store, just scaled down some. No complaints, staff seems friendly.

Friendly staff, clean store, and a selection that includes both essentials and interesting local products. Allergy specific options are surprisingly abundant - good selection of gluten free stuff available. High quality produce. Many organic options. The butcher is top notch with lots of high quality cuts. There is a premium price on items as the store is a neighborhood store where you're probably visiting for just a few essentials. They probably doesn't enjoy the buying/pricing power of the larger chains in town. Occasionally the store opens up the parking lot for neighborhood fairs and block parties. This place makes the neighborhood a better, more interesting, and ultimately more enjoyable place to live.

This small town- like grocery store has more specialty items than any other store I've seen. Due to the size though, the variety of specific items is a bit lacking and the prices are on the higher side (although this seems to be getting better!). Convenient, friendly staff, great for gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options, nice to have a decent meat counter in the neighborhood as well

What a lovely little full service grocery store! They had everything I was looking for at competitive prices plus a few things that I haven't been able to find despite looking elsewhere (such as Happy Howies dog treats.) And the people working there were very friendly and helpful.

Very convenient. Personable staff, except teenage female cashiers not particularly friendly, and need to be taught how to speak with customers. Union store, local business. Need to rotate vegetable stock more regularly. I saw lettuce that had already expired several days earlier.

A great local grocery store. They get in fresh donuts (daily?), they're open till 10 for late evening shopping needs, and they're located near a post office, liquor store, and gas station if you want to gang up on your errands. They also have a decent selection of local products, specialty cheeses, kitchen/cooking gadgetry and greeting cards.

Great neighborhood grocery store. While prices can be a bit high on some items, the quality is great, and prices on produce and meat seem to be very competitive versus Target, Cub, etc. Very convenient location for those in the Nokomis East neighborhood as well. Staff are very friendly as well.

I really love this grocery store. It feels like a throwback to a corner grocery store, while still being large enough to have most of the stuff you need. The deli is great, the prices are reasonable, the selection is good. A great (not so) little grocery store. Really a gem in the neighborhood.

Awesome neighborhood grocery store, the staff is friendly, and if you shop frequently, they remember you. Also, they encourage their patrons to buy shares in a CSA, which is great, it means they're not solely concerned with profits. They also host parties in their parking lot occasionally, which are always fun!

It's a corner market that literally has the corner on the market. It's the only grocery store in the neighborhood so expect to pay convenience store prices. The small deli is great and the staff is pleasant.

Great local neighborhood grocery store. Forego the long lines and avoid the crowds and chaos of the big chain stores like Cub. Prices can be a little higher but easily worth the convenience and there are typically some very good sale items that rival the big guys. Fantastic selection with many local and homegrown items made in Minnesota. Awesome meat department with high quality cuts and has a deli to match. Helpful, courteous and friendly staff. Almost always someone on hand to bag groceries. Children friendly and have child-sized carts for their enjoyment. Forget the headaches of the warehouse grocery stores and pay a visit to this local favorite.

Not too budget, not too fancy; not too big, not too little; just a nice neighborhood grocery that nicely fills a niche between Cub Foods and the co-ops. The selection of organic produce and humane meat isn't the best, but you might be surprised at the options you find here, including some of coastal seafoods's stuff. Worth a trip!

Oxendale's is a great little local market. I am especially impressed by their produce and butcher. My only issue is that prices overall are too high to do my regular shopping here, though their sales prices are comparable and sometimes even better than their larger competitors.

Oxendale's is a great neighborhood grocery store that goes the extra mile in the choices of food products they offer, including organic and ethnic items and in terms of their overall support of the community as a whole. I like their effort to stock locally produced products as well and their support of community farming which in effect competes with their own produce department. It's nice to have a business that seems to really value community and not just sell to it.
