Local small farmers and ranchers. Loved by the neighborhood. The fall bouquets look especially beautiful. Favorite to pick up picnic food for nearby Boom Island Park.
Trevon
Surprised by the prices, a lot of good deals here. The atmosphere is great, I liked the music and crowd

We love the NE Farmers Market. Good mix of veggies, food, and crafts for sale. We love the spring roll stand, but order fast because they sell out frequently!
Parking is on the street, but we haven't had issues finding something within a couple of blocks usually.
KJ Goldstein
Cute farmers market with fresh foods, ready to eat foods and beverages, and great gifts for yourself or others. We walked away with some awesome stuff and it's great to know so many of the vendors are there every week.
Rebecca Alex
Always amazing produce, local merchandise and atmosphere. Definitely a weekly tradition for our family.
Baker
Always good stuff and always wonderful people. Wonderful variety of vendors and small enough you won't miss finding what you need.
Tim Noonan (TimDawg)
Great little local market always has an excellent variety of vendors. Fresh vegetables galore, along with other artisnal items.
Suzanne Durkacs
Came for the brat and corn feed. Both were tasty. There's veggie stalls and other vendors. I keep trying Empire Bakery's pastries, but am always disappointed. I tried their almond poppyseed muffin and found it so bland and dry.

I think this part of minneapolis is amazing to live in. You always hear about shootings and gang wars but its a neutralized part of the twin cities.
Dixie Jepson
A good sized market with a lot of sellers to choose from. The flowers are beautiful and a tad on the expensive side but you get very large bouquets that can easily be split up. Veges are fresh and moderately priced but you can score some bargains. Parking is horrible, I suggest going early, I went at 11. The Dirty Dog has wonderful bakery items, I especially liked the strawberry, cheesecake muffin. There is a mobile dog wash there which made me wish I'd brought my dog.

Socially distant and close-to-contactless but very friendly ... just enough variety of fresh goods with meat, cheese, vegetables, herbs, mushrooms, condiments and specialties, along with plants and flowers, jewelry, pottery, and more. Zero imported chintz. Enjoy fresh and locally-made foods to take away to eat. Very hygienic everywhere with hand washing and gel stations at the entrance. The welcome and information booth also helps shoppers buy tokens with cash or credit for easy purchasing, a low fee of $1, and the $5 tokens don't expire. Vendors accept cash and tokens, some credit, and give change with paper currency and coins. This outdoor lot market is very wheelchair-friendly with level grounds, no concrete medians, and wide spaced ingresses and egresses. Those with health risks are welcomed from 9-10am, but there are still fresh offerings in the early afternoon toward close at 1pm. After months indoors, I wish I could give 10 stars.

This is my favorite twin cities farmers market. Small enough there's not a ton of vendors selling the same things, big enough to have everything you'd want. The spring roll stand is especially a favorite. There's always music, usually a food truck. Very dog friendly.
Leah Brooks
Never even knew that this is where the north east market is! I happened to be driving past it and decided to stop. I wound up leaving with a half dozen ears of corn, tomatoes and onions. The prices are some of the best I've seen at markets around here. It was a little tricky for me to navigate where the entrances and exits were (still not sure I did it right) but over all great experience. I also got a cup of coffee from one of the vendors in the corner and it was cheap and strong - right up my alley.
Liz Hixson
Especially in late July and early August, the farmers market covers the majority of my vegetable purchases. And with such friendly and personable service. Plus options for honey, baked goods, fresh summer rolls, coffee, and music. Great neighborhood venue when you can catch it!
Kerstin Johnson
We love this farmers market! Humble and not over-crowded like Mill City always is. Live music, coffee, food trucks, honey, fresh produce, bakery items and more! Street parking, but being in a neighborhood you can usually get a pretty close spot.
Brian Thielke
A wonderful community farmers market and neighborhood gem. You can buy tons of local food including chemical-free vegetables, fruit, bread, cheese, meat, honey, jam, etc. There's also a foodtruck and other ready to eat foods. Family friendly.
Eri Isomura
Great place to wander checking out local produce- 25 or so stands which is smaller than I expected- nevertheless very organized, welcoming and vibrant. Activities for kids available, live music, and parking isn't so bad. They maintain doggie rules which keeps it courteous and welcoming. Parking is ok.
Nadine Parris
Good eats, good variety of vendors, many produce stands. Easy to pop in & out. Looking forward to a fun summer season of NE Farmers Market!
Courtney Rathke
I'll be honest: after visiting the NE Farmers Market, I pretty much stopped going to the "big" market on Lyndale. I love that it's smaller and easily accessible. On-street parking only, which means that although you may have to walk a couple blocks to get there, you won't take your life in your hands crossing four lanes of traffic. The prices are reasonable, the vendors are friendly, and the products are locally sourced: no tropical fruit wholesalers here. Oh, and the flowers are gorgeous!
marc davis
It's a smaller farmers market with everything from veggies to bakery items. Plenty of space to walk around and look at what vendors are selling. Plenty of close by street parking.
Emma Julkowski
Vendors are helpful! They have a variety of produce that is in season. It's a smaller market that you can get in and out of or spend time perusing each booth.
The spring rolls made to order are worth the trip.
marisha Lindner
The market is great! All the people there are very friendly and the food was great!
Matthew Dowgwillo
Great vendors and prices. Happening for a farmers market and lots of fresh produce.
Amanda Dondelinger
Nice market. Easy to find. Parking can be tough to find on peak times. Support the market if you can. Prepared food available on site.

Malia Lakatos
My favorite market in the twin cities! Dog friendly, not too big or too small, lots of great produce and local craft vendors! The perfect place to spend a Saturday morning
Renee Chartier
Supporting local people doesn't get easier than showing up to this weekly market.
Luna McIntyre
This market has a wonderful selection of fresh locally grown produce, a wide selection of baked goods, beautiful fresh flowers, artisanal crafts and wares, and an eclectic assortment of everything one would want from a farmer's market!
Come for the food stay for the community!
Judith Larsen
My first time there. I enjoyed the visit, but thought the prices were a bit steep. Fun seeing things you don't see everywhere and learning about them such as duck eggs, etc. I had a huge gluten-free sugar cookie that was out of this world. Will return.
Steve Rawlins
Simply beautiful. Great selection of vendors. Good location. Street parking. Visible from University Ave, which means can be busy traffic so watch the kids. Fascinating neighborhood churches.
David Thomas-Jensen
Northeast Farmers Market is probably one of the top for farmers markets in the state of Minnesota on a weekly basis across the summer. It has the Supreme advantage of being on the northeast side of the river and in a location well-known. The season is early we went to its season opener which was last Saturday. There were lots of baked goods and other choices, lots of fresh plants for your garden, and even some produce. considering our late season start this year with a blizzard a mere month ago, that is not a minor statement. My three-year-old got a donut, which made her very happy, and made the next two hours very wild for Mom and me. But unless you live on an island, homeschool, or I just bloody weird I just don't see how you keep the kid from getting a donut once in awhile. Considering the heat wave were in, this was one of the oddly cool days seasonally appropriate mind you, that we had. It didn't stop us from showing up or hundreds of others, nor did it slow down the live music playing which was quite Pleasant. If you missed the market on Saturday you can always go to the Eastside co-op on Central, they are core founding members. Later today I will update this with some photos I took while we were there.
Alysia Steingart
NOT dog friendly.
Nice small market with a great selecting of items, but unfortunately they do not allow dogs. Because of this it is unlikely we will return.
