Nice food bar; bad vegetables. (Coming from 3 years experience shopping there) This store is my go-to place if I want to save myself time making dinner. They have plenty cooked food to choose from, and plenty prepared meals. However if you want to buy raw ingredients and cook a decent meal by yourself, do not go there. The vegetables are never ever fresh. Not hard at all to get rotten stuff if you don’t pick them carefully. Aside from that, everything else is good.

I love this Lunds & Byerlys and shop here frequently. The location of this grocery market is killer and that is part of the reason I love it - many people are close enough to walk or bike to it. If you do drive, there is also plenty of parking. This particular Lunds location is also always well stocked too. I really dislike driving to the market looking for a particular item or flavor and finding that they are out of stock. I rarely have this problem at this location. The staff here are friendly and helpful which I always appreciate! The Lunds & Byerlys bakery also deserves a special note, the items are always exceptional. I always get birthday treats from this bakery for birthdays and special events - so yummy!! Also, the attached Caribou Coffee is nice and the Bachman's plant selection here is awesome! I don't know about you but when I grocery shop I also tend to do some plant adoption as well... This location usually has lots of options. The plants are not cheap but they are quality and well-cared for, so worth the price!

Friendly environment, delicious pastries, and a friendly staff. Prices are good for the quality of the products. Plenty of parking, and more importantly they have a caribou coffee shop inside the neighborhood market.

This is my go to grocery store located in the heart of Uptown. They have parking, staff are mostly friendly. Kathy, one of the managers, is always super helpful and goes out of her way to say hello. After a fresh update in 2019/2020 minutes this store is my favorite grocery store in the uptown area. I love the addition of hot and cold food bar.

I've always had exceptional customer service here. The owner is doing something right. I'm also slightly OCD and when I come here, everything super clean like a Japanese supermarket and brightly lit. My favorite part is the bakery. I've bought my family so many iconic things here, if it's not Lunds, it's not made with love!! Their fruit tarte, strawberry cheesecake, apple pie, and peanut butter bars are my favorites!!

Surprisingly decent prices compared to other Lunds/Byerlys. Tight shelving although, can make it difficult to navigate through the store. And less then personable staff can be a bit off putting. Plenty of parking is nice for a busy place, but the accessibility to get in and out of the parking lot can be a bit tricky though. **Side note, lots of parking tickets are handed out on the street.**

Was not impressed with the selection or the prices here. Produce looked nice but had Whole Foods prices and GF items were all sold out or out of stock. Nothing to recommend this place particularly (though perhaps if you can eat their deli items they might be good? I can't say; every last one had gluten in it.) Cashier was noticeably grumpy. Not bad per say, just won't be going back unless the cheap grocery place is closed.

Excellent selection of products in a very upscale market. Friendly staff and great management. Trendy area and parking can be limited at times. Large commons area where you can relax and eat your deli items. They occasionally have live music, which is always fun.

They were an awesome help to us and we can't even be regular customers! We were flying in to Minneapolis from California for a week. We were staying in a house so I ordered groceries. They have convenient pickup so I thought it would be perfect on our way from the airport. I called in advance since I knew that delays would be possible. They answered that it would be no problem if we were late. Well our takeoff was delayed and delayed again. I had to call twice and they were so nice and helpful. It turned out that the plane arrived over 11 hours late. They were so kind to accommodate us the next day. I've never seen a grocery store with such high reviews and now I know why. I just wish we could be repeat customers. My thanks to Kathy White, Eric, Matthew and others who helped us so kindly through our ordeal.

Full service grocery. Produce and meat/fish are high quality. Really good selection of ready to eat prepared foods. They often have good sales. This store is one of their medium-sized stores so the selection of some products may be more limited then in their bigger stores but you'd be hard pressed to not find what you need.

It's seems it's always busy when I go here, but the staff and management executes their respective positions excellently and it makes for a very enjoyable shopping experience.

I love living within walking distance of this Lund's! The chain is a bit more pricey than other grocery stores, but they have high quality produce and delicious pre-made options. Service is usually friendly, though there are a few snarky cashiers. It's smaller than other locations I've been too, but the selection is still good, and it's definitely a full grocery store. No pharmacy, though. They have a large parking lot, so parking is never an issue.

Love this Lunds & Byerlys location. They are super professional, and the store is very clean and organized. I also love the selection of deli meals when you're short on time or energy. Definitely my go to grocery stop in the uptown area.

The store is neat and clean, always. Price are a little elevated which is to be expected in Uptown. Cashiers stay in the front and there isnt a lot of help on the floor, but everything can be located quite easily. I love their sodas, they have a wide variation of bottle capped sodas, try the blonde root beer, its the best!!

The usual interesting mix of groceries and good service found at any Lunds & Byerlys location. There is a good meeting room there, which is what brought me into the store the most recent time. Prices are higher than I like at any Lunds & Byerlys, but selection is good.

Lovely store and wonderful employees. Just please make sure aisles are marked clearly as to contents from produce area all the way up and down to where you have them marked. There are at least three half aisles where you have to walk down before contents are labeled. It would save time and frustration.

Even though it is a smaller grocery store, the my have tons of choices. I love their grab and go items that you can microwave at work, especially the cauliflower and chicken. Very healthy and low calorie. I love the caribou in the store too.

There is so much to love about this store: they have the best quality brands, a great organic selection, really friendly staff, delicious deli and bakery items, lots of locally produced foods, specialty items that other stores don't carry, an awesome selection of magazines and flowers, and a really nice loft area where you can eat, read, or just hang out. It's super-convenient to have a grocery store in the core of Uptown with a parking lot. It's so big I even found a spot during the Art Fair. It's kind of expensive, but the food is top quality with lots of deli and butcher options,, and the service is good too. They also have some good deals with BOGO in their ad almost every week.

This store has the best service and staff that I have every experience at a grocery store. The managers work with you if anything is out of stock or will order items if they dont yet carry it. It has a reputation for being more expensive but the sales are always the best price in MPLS.

This store and staff amazing! I recently went in to grab a gallon of milk and the paper bag ripped when I got home. Milk ended up everywhere. I called this store to see if I could grab another gallon and the store manager insisted that he could deliver it to me since I was in the process of cleaning up a mess. When the manager arrived he not only brought a new gallon of milk, he also brought a bouquet of flowers and cookies. He made my day so much better after that incident. Thank you Lunds in uptown!

I called to find out if they carried frozen bread dough. Bakery person ran over to frozen foods to check for me and was quick to tell me and describe it to me. I shop there only, almost every week. Staff is unusually friendly and helpful. THANKS for being there since the days when it was Hoves!

Not as clean as the one in Highland and the one near St. Anthony and Main area... but a good store... I think more people shop here so the increased foot traffic explains it... after the high rises are occupied, the one in St. Anthony will be busier.

I love this Lunds location!! Ever since I first moved to Uptown, this Lunds has been one of my favorite places to buy groceries. Sure, it can be more expensive than Cub Foods, but their selection - coupled with the polite, friendly, and engaging staff - is worth paying a little more for. Plus, the fresh pizza they make is delicious and cheaper than getting an equivalent pizza at Pizza Luce or other surrounding pizza places.

Some of the staff are total gems but most are actually standoffish. The other customers can be pretty... snobby (not the best word but it's close). I always regret shopping there, the experience never justifies the price. The deli is DELICIOUS though, I'll probably keep going just for the deli

Nice seating area upstairs kinda tucked away. Attached caribou. Fresh flower and food selection is best in Uptown. Drivers seem to really struggle with the arrows, so drive slow frens. Imho, the entire parking lot should be re-oriented to better reflect how people drive in and out. Heads up, **always** cops in this parking lot for some reason.

One of the oldest Lunds & Byerlys stores, this store has a great cast of employees who generally have been around for awhile. They know the store and can help you with anything. Slightly more expensive than Cub Foods a few blocks away and slightly less than Kowalski's, but their deli and salad bar offerings reign supreme.

I recently found the YUMMIEST macaroni and cheese I've EVER HAD. Yes it may have been a bit expensive but I thought it was worth every penny. Plus the raspberry mascarpone cups are SUPER YUMMY by far my favorite go to treat I've always been able to find what I was looking for although they could use more help on the sales floor.

$6 Sushi Wednesdays pull me in here but its worth staying to go upstairs where they have two Red Box machines & free Wifi. Prices are a bit high but reasonable enough if you shop the weekly ads. Avoid the bulk food as its much fresher at nearby Whole Foods Market.

it was 830p on a sunday evening. there were one to two cashiers checking out around 25 people in line - one of which was a supervisor/manager. a customer was doing some MAJOR couponing (i probably would too, if i shopped there all the time ;-). so where in the hell were the self checkout lanes that these days are everywhere else??? there was a security guard who maybe was an actual policeman there - policing various store areas. there was also some homeless type people camped out outside - two different camps/groups. maybe they were protesters - not sure? weird experience for an uptown high-class grocery store. i was only there for 3 quick items but FOREVER....the three stars is for the selections and high-class atmosphere (minus the negatives aforementioned he heh ;-)...

Really nice Lund's location! There's a very unique layout here with a mezzanine that features the greeting cards, a sitting/eating area, bathrooms, and a "community room"for usage as well. This location features most of the staples of most Lund's - a Caribou Coffee, hot food bar, deli counter, salad bar, etc. All of the aisles are named after local streets in the fun Lund's tradition.

I have been shopping at Lunds for several years. I am retired so I shop the specials and BOGOs and have no complaints in general. However, I recently bought 12lbs of 90% lean ground beef, at least the package labels totaled 12.4 lbs. After cooking the the packages for future use, I had only 8.2lbs. Tell me if my math is wrong, but that is only 2/3 of what I paid for, rather than 90%. Three out of the six packages each had a cup of water in the pan. Back in the day sheisters would do that to get more money for their product. I'm not saying that's what they did, maybe their scale is off by 25%. I use a postal scale and weight out 1lb packages for Ziploc quart freezer bags. I should have had 10 bags rather than 8. I won't buy their meat any more.

Lunds didn't have what I needed, which is fine. But when I asked some old guy from grocery department that had a very bad attitude about helping or even guiding me in the right direction. I've been a customer three years and visit several times a week. Staff is helpful, efficient, and friendly. Decent daily and weekly deals, too. Open until midnight, even on Saturday.
